I don't own Disney's The Owl House. I do, however own the OC known as Danielle Hopkins. Hope you all enjoy my story on this lovely show.

Chapter Forty-Six

The Day of Unity was approaching ever so closely. After the accidental mind dive into Emperor Belos's mind, it had taken quite a while before the girls talked about anything. Well, until Danielle woke up since she had passed out from so many shocks. King had brought out a bunch of his plush toys and had them stacked around the girls before covering them with a blanket each. Eda had heated up some apple blood cider for the girls. Then Luz and Danielle finally opened up and started talking. Luz even drew some pictures to help along. Eda, King and Hooty were even more shocked than before. Danielle even apologized for not mentioning about Philip though Eda quieted her, understanding where she was coming.

"This is a lot to take in," said Eda, deeply sighing.

"I'm sorry Eda…" said Danielle, pulling her blanket in more. "I…"

"You don't have to keep apologizing Danielle," said Eda, looking at Danielle. "You were in shock. It's understandable."

"We don't have time to take anything in anymore. We have to stop Belos!" said Luz, standing up. "We-we were a part of his plan! We-we fell for everything!"

"Luz," said Danielle, pulling Luz down and hugging her.

"King, Hooty, you know what to do," said Eda, as the two hugged the crying girls. "Well, one thing's for sure. People can tell when you've been inside their head. It's only a matter of time before Belos sends his scouts over here. You two need to hide."

"I'm not gonna hide," said Danielle, looking at Eda.

"Neither am I. We're gonna stop Belos from completing the Draining Spell and releasing Aster," said Luz, looking at Eda. "We... just... need to figure out how."

"Edalyn!" said Lilith, entering the house.

"Lulu!" shouted Hooty, excited to see Lilith, tightening and choking the girls.

"Hooty! Too tight!" said Danielle, a little blast of her magic loosening Hooty from around them.

"I came as fast as I could. Owlbert filled me in on the Draining Spell," said Lilith, looking at Eda. "Oh Titan, so this is what we were trying to stop in those runs. Ugh, I was such a fool, a dolt, a chump, a…"

"Hey, no pity parties in this house," said Eda, looking at Lilith. "Besides, the girls are upset enough as it is."

"You're right," said Lilith, fixing her glasses. "I'll do anything to help."

"Lulu! I am so happy to see you, I could-I could..." said Hooty, before retching.

"Weh?" said King, as he was dragged by Hooty's body.

"Oh, here it comes!" said Hooty, finally regurgitating as King fell off him being covered by garbage.

"Ugh! Gross," said Luz, disgusted.

"Oh, my word!" said Lilith, staring at the amount Hooty regurgitated.

"You have got to stop eating things you shouldn't," said Danielle, disgusted as well. "That can't be healthy for you."

"Agreed," said Eda, staring at Hooty.

"Huh? WEH!" said King, emerging from the pile with an envelope in hand. "He's also been eating our mail. Look!"

"Looks important," said Danielle, looking at the envelope.

""Dear King Clawthorne, if you wish to know who you truly are, come to this location and meet our warrior clan"" said King, reading the letter. "I think they might be my family! And maybe they're an answer to all our problems!"

"Looks like the High Priestess was wrong that day about King being the last of his kind," said Eda, remembering that day slightly.

"That's incredible!" said Luz, looking at the map on the letter. "But... how is it supposed to help us stop Belos?"

"They're a clan of warriors! How else do you defeat a tyrant with their own army?" said King, looking at Luz. "By making an army of your own!"

"Unfortunately, we don't know all our allies out there," said Lilith, fixing her glasses. "Only a select few."

"Not to mention it's a chance for King to find out where he came from," said Luz, looking at Eda and Lilith than at King. "I say let's go for it!"

"I don't know," said Danielle, grabbing and looking at the letter. "Those shocks are screwing up my memory but I feel like these warriors are wolves in sheep's clothing."

"Well, I say you two need a safe place to hide while the adults take care of things," said Eda, just as skeptical as Danielle.

"I'm actually in favor of this plan," said Lilith, looking at everyone.

"You are?" said the girls, Eda and King, looking at Lilith surprised.

"It wouldn't hurt to check. Plus," said Lilith, standing up and walking around the room. "Judging by King's map, you three would be taken far, far away from the Boiling Isles and Emperor Belos."

"What if something goes wrong?" asked Eda, staring at Lilith.

"Hooty could accompany them," replied Lilith, gesturing to Hooty. "Their safety would be your responsibility, my dear, brave Hootsifer."

"I would protect these silly children with my life!" said Hooty, bowing to Lilith as she curtsied.

"Yeah, well, how-how would they even get there?" asked Eda, looking at Lilith.

"I know a ship that might take us," said Luz, looking at Eda. "Plus, they're already on our side."

"Yeah! The ole Selkidomus crew. Think about it!" said King, jumping onto Luz and staring at Eda. "Belos won't be able to withstand a whole army of mes."

"Such allies would be quite valuable," said Lilith, looking at Eda.

"I wonder if I still have my sailor's hat," said Luz, wondering where she stuffed the clothes.

"I can bring them back out," said Danielle, looking at Luz. "They are freshly clean."

"Does anyone feel that marching around the edge of the forest?" asked Hooty, feeling the vibrations in the ground.

"Hold on," thought Danielle, trying to extend her magic to feel what Hooty mentioned. "Dang, still can't get a feel for sensory magic yet."

"Fine. You can go," said Eda, finally relenting. "We'll find out all we can on our end to create a plan for uh... uh, when you two get back."

"Thank you, Eda!" said Luz, jumping up and hugging Eda alongside King. "We won't let you down."

"Let's pack for the trip!" said King, heading upstairs.

"Wait for me!" said Hooty, following after in his porta-backpack.

"Danielle, you be extremely careful," said Eda, grabbing Danielle's wrist. "Belos is still harming Danny meaning he's also harming you."

"I will Eda," said Danielle, looking at Eda. "Now to see who gets Hooty with rock paper scissors."

Heading upstairs, Danielle helps Luz and King pack for the trip. Danielle felt like something would go wrong while there but also felt like she would learn something. It took only a single round for Luz to lose in rock paper scissors to Danielle, resulting in her having to carry Hooty. After getting everything they needed, Eda and Lilith escorted the girls, Hooty and King to a hidden dock where Salty's ship was at. Bidding the girls, Hooty and King luck, Eda and Lilith wave bye before just staring out at the sea. It was a couple days out at sea before the girls, Hooty and King were to reach their destination.

"Doin' a lot of work there, Salty," said King, looking at Cap'n Salty. "Where's the crew?"

"Greener, snailier pastures," replied Cap'n Salty, looking at King after shoveling some coal into the furnace. "Wanted to stay away from the oncoming storm."

"Land ho!" shouted Luz, gaining everyone's attention. "Land ho!"

"Is that a finger?" asked Hooty, staring at the landmass. "It's a long way from our Titan."

"That's 'cause it's not from our Titan," said Cap'n Salty, walking over. "This be part of a different beastie."

"I wonder what relation it has to Papa Titan," said Danielle, looking at the landmass. "And if it will show us their glyphs."

"Let's go," said Luz, gesturing to the bathtub Eda left behind with Cap'n Salty.

"At least it's clean," said Danielle, climbing in before her magic acted up and cut the ropes. "Whoa-aaaaaaah!"

"Danielle!" shouted Luz, screaming as well as King and Hooty as the bathtub fell to the waters below as Danielle's magic created a barrier. "Good, barrier."

"Hand me an oar," said Danielle, pale and clinging to the bathtub. "And row, and row, and row…"

"Stop that," said Luz, rowing alongside Danielle. "It really doesn't help."

"Come back with a good story, sea squirts!" shouted Cap'n Salty, waving.

"Aw, he's so supportive," said Luz, waving back alongside Danielle and King.

It didn't take as long to reach land. Settling the bathtub ashore, the girls notice a flight of stairs. Looking all the way up, the girls sigh before climbing alongside King.

"Journey of a thousand steps," said Danielle, as they reached the top.

"At least your legs don't feel like jelly," said Luz, rubbing her legs. "Give me a minute."

"Doesn't look like any ones here," said Danielle, walking around.

"Maybe we're a bunch of early birds," said Hooty, looking around.

"Or maybe they got sick of waiting!" said King, running over. "That letter was over a month old..."

"Hang on," said Luz, noticing something on the wall. "There's something here."

"I love me a good puzzle," said Danielle, as Luz inserted the rock from King's letter into the wall. "Cool."

A mechanism sounds off. Energy swirls off creating a force field. The energy travels all the way up to the fingertip before creating a large circle which produces thunder and lightning. A blue light beam then shines through the circle and drags the girls, King and Hooty upwards. The girls cling to each other with King stuck in the middle as they go through the large circle. After going through, they re-emerge in mid air before they start falling. Hooty wraps around everyone before hitting the ground, cushioning the fall.

"Got it," said Danielle, grabbing the rock as it landed before her. "Still need this to get home."

"Luz, Danielle, are you okay?" asked Hooty, staring at the girls. "Where's your other arm?"

"We only ever had two, Hooty," replied Luz, standing up as Danielle gave the rock back. "Did you think we had more?"

"Luz, Danielle, look!" said King, staring at the scene before them.

"So many Titans," said Danielle, wrapping her arms around herself before thinking. "The war really was that bad."

"That doesn't look like the Boiling Isles to me," said Hooty, staring at the many deceased Titan bodies.

"That's because it isn't," said Tarak, as everyone turned around to look at him. "Welcome to the other side of the world."

"The other side of the world?!" said Danielle, looking around. "Air Whatever has boarded and landed… and it didn't cost a thing besides our screams."

"You dare trespass on this sacred…" said Tarak, before gasping upon seeing King than Danielle. "By the Huntsman, 'tis King! And another with markings such as ours. My name is Tarak. Hail and well-met."

"Markings?" said Danielle, staring at her markings alongside Luz.

"Psst! King! Introduce us!" said Luz, whispering to King.

"Right!" said King, before looking at Tarak. "Uh, this is Luz and Danielle the human/half human/friends/sisters. And this is Hooty, the, uh, door...?"

"Your warrior-ship," said Luz, as she and Hooty bowed.

"Pleasure," said Danielle, two finger saluting Tarak.

"Did you send me that letter?" asked King, staring at Tarak. "Are... A-are you my…"

"Father? Alas, no. Nor is he here," replied Tarak, looking at King. "But I did send the letter. And by the sight of you, I know he was one of us. He passed down that handsome skull of yours, didn't he?"

"Passed down?" thought Danielle, confused. "That skull is a part of King."

"Hmmm," said Tarak, eyeing Danielle. "I'm guessing it wasn't passed down to you at all. No problem, we'll find one that will suit you."

"What?" said Danielle, taken aback and disgusted.

"Now we celebrate!" said Tarak, looking at everyone. "Everyone will be so happy to meet you."

"Who's everyone?" asked Luz, as Tarak gestured them forward.

"Welcome to Titan Trapper Island!" said Tarak, gesturing to the settlement below.

"Titan Trappers!?" said Danielle, shocked. "As in… the war mom mentioned… Luz, I think…"

"Our kind is in decline. Our island is only so big," said Tarak, looking at everyone. "Have to go to the mainland anymore to find suitable spouses anymore. Except for the Veil… blasted Titan Huggers."

"I've never seen so many demons that look like me!" said King, as Tarak showed them around the settlement. "Look at them go!"

"We are Titan Trappers, under oath to protect the world from giant monsters of death and destruction. But uh, not many of us have seen a live one, of course," said Tarak, before looking at Danielle. "I have a grandson. Think you would…"

"Noo!" said Danielle, glaring at Tarak.

"I heard that there was one living Titan left when we accidently landed in the Veil," said Luz, looking at Tarak as they entered a building.

"That is right even though I can't stand the Veil's people," said Tarak, looking at the girls and King. "The Grand Huntsman says one remains, so we sharpen our spears until the vile creature rears its head and a new hunt can begin! And now, dear King... you can join us and become a Titan Trapper yourself!"

"Weh?!" said King, as every Titan Trapper cheers.

"And you as well my dear," said a Teen Titan Trapper, grabbing Danielle's hands. "Will you marry…"

"Hands off!" said Danielle, punching the Teen Trapper Titan away into a wall.

"That would be my grandson, Tarik," said Tarak, deeply sighing. "He's been a handful recently among my twelve grandsons."

"Twelve?!" said Danielle, before hiding behind Luz.

"King, this is amazing," said Luz, bending down to King before looking at Tarak. "Well, we don't know any Titans, but the world could definitely use your help."

"That's right! It's a lot to explain right now, but could you…" said King, looking at Tarak. "I mean, we, help the people of the Boiling Isles? No, save our world."

"Any enemy of yours is an enemy of ours!" said a Titan Trapper, before cheering along with the rest of the Titan Trappers.

"But we can make no vows," said Tarak, looking at the girls. "For that you must beseech our elder, the wisest hunter of them all... Bill!"

"Is that short for something?" asked Luz, looking at Tarak.

"Nope," replied Tarak, shrugging. "Just Bill. He's so cool, he actually met our god, the Grant Huntsman! He's my best friend. Eh, it's no big deal."

"Grand Huntsman… Grand Huntsman," thought Danielle, while thinking. "Even the Veil people mentioned them. And Priestess Mimosa said I would see them in the In Between but all I saw was… Aster!"

"Luz! Danielle!" said King, running over with a weapon. "Look what they gave me!"

"Oh! Okay," said Luz, looking at the weapon. "That looks awfully pointy, buddy."

"Please, be careful with that King," said Danielle, looking at King.

"Don't worry. It's mostly paper mache. And bone. They're gonna show me their Titan Trapper ways, Luz, Danielle!" said King, before gasping. "I guess they're my ways, too… ow!"

"Looks like you're beginning to remember this day," said Danielle, bending down and rubbing King's head.

"How about Hooty and I go see the elder, and in the meantime, you learn all you can about being a Titan Trapper?" said Luz, looking at King.

"This is a dream come true!" said King, hugging the girls before running away with the weapon in tow.

"We can help you get accustomed too," said Two Female Titan Trappers, pushing Danielle along. "Come along, my dear."

"Whoa, wait…" said Danielle, before looking back at Luz. "Luz… Hooty…"

"We'll meet up here, okay," said Luz, looking at Danielle then King. "Just be careful!"

"I will!" said King, before leaving the building.

"Traitor! They're gonna dress me up for sure," said Danielle, holding onto the doors. "You can't make me!"

"And push!" said the Two Female Titan Trappers, pushing Danielle through the doors.

While Luz was busy thinking how to ask for help from Bill, King ends up learning the way of the Titan Trappers. Danielle however, was struck in a building with the two female Titan Trappers going through attire. The doors were securely locked as Danielle tried to escape. The two female Titan Trappers were adamant in getting Danielle dressed up. Danielle protested at every turn even giggling but they had succeeded in getting Danielle into them and even wearing a Titan skull which sent shivers down your spine.

"My, don't you look lovely," said Female Titan Trapper #2, staring at Danielle.

"You're a keeper," said Female Titan Trapper #1, staring at Danielle. "And have quite a body. You have great child bearing hips."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," said Danielle, pulling the collar of the cloak away. "It's itchy and like a sauna."

"You'll get used to it," said Female Titan Trapper #1, before a crow phone landed nearby. "I'll take this."

"One attire I will not be keeping," said Danielle, before Female Titan Trapper #1 put the crow phone away. "Is everything okay?"

"Everything's better than okay. The last Titan has been spotted," said Female Titan Trapper #2, looking at Danielle and handing a jagged dagger to her. "It's only right for you to slay the last one and become a true Titan Trapper."

"Kill?! The only thing I've ever killed were bugs that landed on me like flies and mosquitoes," said Danielle, as she was ushered out by the two Female Titan Trappers. "I am not killing a Titan!"

"Hush now child!" said Female Titan Trapper #1, pulling Danielle towards a specific area. "You will do what our forefathers and foremothers have done in the past."

"You're one of us. Those markings dictate it," said Female Titan Trapper #2, pulling Danielle along as well. "You'll slay the last Titan and be seen as a full-fledged Titan Trapper."

"But I'm not…" said Danielle, as the two Female Titan Trappers push her onto a platform. "King!?"

"Danielle!" said King, jumping into Danielle's arms.

"Oh, no," thought Danielle, as realization dawned on her. "King's a Titan. And they want me to slay him."

"Hey, Danielle, look," said King, whispering to Danielle while pointing to a certain tablet that was broken in half.

"There's one here too?" said Danielle, running over and checking the tablet. "Is there a way to fix it?"

"Sadly, we have not found a way," replied Tarak, looking at Danielle. "But we will be soon."

"You don't have to go all out like this," said King, as a coat is put on him while Danielle tries to get the paint off his head. "Ew! Danielle, stop!"

"So, help me, if this is permanent…" said Danielle, trying to get the paint off.

"You know, I-I'm fine doing a small thing. Family and friends kinda thing," said King, before trying to push Danielle away. "Aw, come on Danielle. Stop, you're embarrassing me."

"Your presence is very special to us, King. As is yours Danielle. Now, we can release the Grand Huntsman from his prison and be granted power and glory!" said Tarak, taking King out of Danielle's arms and placing him before the pedestal before igniting a torch. "In the ashes of your old life, your destiny awaits. Carry this torch to the tablet and set it aflame."

"D-Did you hear that?" asked King, as he set the tablet aflame and heard Aster.

"I want to be back in the Owl House," said Aster, only being heard by King.

"The connection has been made," said Tarak, looking at King. "And now we can summon him."

"Hold up," said Danielle, pushing pass Tarak and looking at King. "If you made a connection than maybe…"

"Ah, you're taking too long!" said Bill, pushing Danielle aside and placing a piece of cloth over King's head. "Don't worry, child. We're almost done."

"Hey! Wait!" said Danielle, as she was pushed forward.

"Do it now child," said Bill, staring at Danielle.

"… … …" said Danielle, staring at the jagged dagger nervously.

"Uh, Bill?" said Tarak, seeing Bill not moving.

"I can't move! Wh-wh-whoa!" said Bill, feeling like he was lifted and thrown into the crowd. "Wh-wh-who…"

"Luz! Hooty!" thought Danielle, knowing what really happened.

"Weh? Wha-what's happening?" asked King, before a Light Sphere blinded everyone besides Danielle and King.

"Grab the tablet!" whispered Luz, to Danielle and grabbing King.

Grabbing the piece of cloth on King, Danielle tosses the jagged dagger before grabbing the tablet and follows after Luz and Hooty. Danielle had set off a Light Glyph, hopefully to buy them some more time. Running as fast as they could, everyone hides behind a large enough rock. Taking a breather, Luz and Hooty reappear as their invisibility went down.

"King, I'm so glad you're okay!" said Luz, hugging King.

"What're you talking about?" asked King, jumping out of Luz's arms. "We were just about to play catch!"

"Hey!" said Hooty, angrily. "Luz just saved your life!"

"These guys wouldn't hurt me. They get me!" said King, looking at the girls. "They know what it's like to be left behind."

"King, they wanted me to kill you back there!" said Danielle, looking at King. "They're not your people!"

"Then what am I?!" asked King, angrily staring at the girls.

"… …" said Danielle and Luz, staring at each other before looking at King. "You're a Titan, King."

"Let's get Aster out," said Hooty, placing the piece of cloth down with the tablet. "I bet he can clear things up."

"Right," said Danielle, trying to think. "Aster mentioned the tablet is Titan Magic so maybe a Titan is all we need to fix it… hmmm… maybe one or two of the humors, blood and breath… and bone. We can use some of the land that is this Titan to help."

"But what about bile and earth?" asked Luz, looking at Danielle as King used a Wind Glyph to carve up some of the land for the bone part.

"I don't know how to get that. Bile is a yellow-green fluid produced by the liver of most vertebrates that aids the digestion of lipids in the small intestine," replied Danielle, looking at Luz. "And I am not putting a syringe into King just to get it. We'll have to work with the other humors."

"I'll be look out," said Hooty, looking at everyone.

"It's a little hard to believe I'm a Titan," said King, holding a good chunk of Titan bone he carved up. "But if it fixes the tablet, then I got to believe you."

Placing the Titan bone between the tablet and holding it still, the girls watch as King slices at his paw. Wincing, King places quite a bit of his blood on the bone as sparks begin to fly. Seeing that it was beginning to work, King starts to breath on the tablet. Slowly the tablet starts to mend. The girls are ecstatic as the tablet starts to close up. As the last little crack closes up, a light show goes up, alerting the Titan Trappers to their location.

"Did it work?" asked Danielle, staring at the tablet. "Aster? Are you there? Please answer."

"I can hear you but I can't form out there," replied Aster, from within the tablet. "But how did you… you're on that other island!?"

"Yes, we are," said Luz, looking at the tablet. "We just found out King is a Titan and the people here tried to get Danielle to kill him."

"What!?" shouted Aster, shocked and surprised.

"Aster, I'm a Titan, aren't I?" asked King, staring at the tablet. "You've known all this time."

"Yeah, I have," said Aster, as King lightly touched the tablet with his claw, resulting in Aster to appear before them in shadow form. "You're actually the son of the Boiling Isles Titan."

"I was living on my dad this whole time," thought King, shocked and surprised.

"Shoot, you must be missing the bile part," said Aster, before staring at everyone. "I missed you guys so much."

"So did I," said Danielle, trying to hug Aster only to go through. "Right, shadow. Time to get the Light Sparkles going."

"Got it," said Luz, getting the Light Sparkles going onto Aster. "There we go. Better?"

"Yes," replied Aster, before looking at Danielle. "I'm sorry."

"For what?" asked Danielle, looking at Aster. "I'm the one who should be sorry. I tried to so hard to find a way to get you back and couldn't. I-I failed you as a friend."

"No, you haven't. I'm with you now," said Aster, looking at Danielle. "I-I lied."

"Huh?" said Danielle, confused as everyone else.

"Uh, guys…" said Hooty, seeing the Titan Trappers coming their way.

"I lied… to Belos. But I had to," said Aster, looking at everyone. "He was hurting Danny. So, I mentioned she was bright meaning she's destined for Heaven and other stuff. I didn't mean to lie but…"

"It's okay," said Danielle, cupping Aster's face.

"But I lied," said Aster, looking at Danielle. "Lying is bad."

"I know it is but what you did saved Danny from even more shocks," said Danielle, looking at Aster. "I know lying is bad but it can also be good. Your lying helped Danny from getting shocked anymore… so you did good there Aster."

"Are you hurt?" asked Aster, looking at Danielle. "Did the shocks extend to you as well?"

"Yes, they did," replied Danielle, looking at Aster. "But I haven't felt them in a while so that's good for both me and Danny."

"You're right," said Aster, leaning into Danielle's touch.

"Guys!" said Hooty, alerting everyone as the Titan Trappers found them.

"Shoot," said Luz, standing up and holding some glyphs.

"Is that…" said Tarak, squealing upon seeing Aster. "The Grand Huntsman!"

"Grand Huntsman?!" said Aster, confused before realization dawned on him. "Dios!"

"Is that… is that really your form?" asked Tarak, looking at Aster. "Or are you…"

"Still trapped and stop calling me Grand Huntsman," said Aster, looking at Tarak. "You're thinking of…"

"Grand Huntsman, the last Titan is before you," said Bill, staring at Aster.

"Uh, I know that," said Aster, staring at Bill.

"Child, what are you waiting?" said Bill, staring at Danielle. "Slay the last Titan to appease the Grand Huntsman. Then we can release him!"

"Look here old man, I am not slaying King. He's like a little brother to me," said Danielle, making the Titan Trappers gasp in shock. "He's already donated his blood and breath to fixing the tablet. We carved up some of the bone that makes this land. We're just missing bile and earth to finish it before releasing him."

"Oh, we actually have some bile we harvested sometime this year," said Tarak, looking at Danielle than King. "But why would you, the last Titan be helping to release the Grand Huntsman when he's your enemy?"

"Cause I got to know him for quite a while," replied King, looking at Tarak. "He would have been freed earlier if Belos didn't take the tablet back that he has."

"He has a tablet of his own?!" said Tarak, before growling. "No wonder he cracked this one when he was here."

"He what?!" shouted Aster, shocked and surprised.

"Probably didn't want you giving any information or knowledge to anyone but him," said Luz, looking at Aster than Tarak. "Go get that bile while we figure out what the Earth humor is."

"Got it," said Tarak, about to leave before looking at Tarik. "Leave the girls alone while they work or so help me, I'll throw you in the pit myself boy!"

"Yes grandfather," said Tarik, watching Tarak leave and shuddering.

"I don't think I want to know," said Luz, as Tarak left.

"The Earth humor is actually glyphs," said Aster, looking at the girls and King. "You kinda need a lot of them with my tablet in the middle."

"You're kidding?" said Danielle and Luz, before groaning.

"Then let's get those glyphs," said Hooty, grabbing Danielle's notepad.

"Great, now let's…" said Danielle, only for a thick vine to shatter the tablet into multiple pieces and Aster disappearing back to the In Between. "No… As…ter…"

"What have you done?" shouted Luz, glaring at Bill as Danielle slumps to the ground staring at the broken tablet. "Do you know what you've done?"

"Not good," said King, seeing that Danielle's skin was slowly becoming the night sky. "Definitely not good."

"You were corrupting the Grand Huntsman. And you, child, have brought shame onto our clan, your family, for not killing the last Titan," said Bill, glaring at the girls, King and Hooty. "I bet those aren't even the actual markings of our people. You infiltrated our lands posing as one of us."

"Uh, Elder Bill…" said Tarik, taking notice of what was transpiring with Danielle.

"Grab the girls and kill that Titan and that ungodly sock monster!" shouted Bill, looking at his fellow Titan Trappers and Tarik. "They'll make excellent bearers to our future offspring."

"Whoa," said Luz, backing away from Danielle as her magic was flowing around her.

"But they were actually helping to get the Grand Huntsman out," said Tarik, staring at Bill. "You just broke the tablet even further."

"We can fix it with the last Titan's carcass," said Bill, waving off Tarik. "We'll just have to bottle his breath before he finally keels over."

"Elder Bill," said a Male Titan Trapper, seeing what was happening with Danielle.

"What?" shouted Bill, as the Male Titan Trapper shakily pointed at Danielle. "What in the…"

"Your life is forfeit," said Danielle, eyes glowing and her body looking mostly like the night sky.

"What is she?" shouted Bill, before looking where King was pointing, to the tablet. "Oh crude."

It wasn't so much a massacre as it was a beat down. Danielle flew at the Titan Trappers in a rage. Tarik had gotten out of the way in time. Dodging and weaving through spells cast her way and setting off some of her own, Danielle had literally beaten down every Titan Trapper before glaring down at Bill.

"Please, I beg for your mercy Grand Huntress," said Bill, cowering before Danielle. "I had no idea you were…"

"Yeah, he had that coming," said Tarik, as Danielle knocked Bill out by tossing him into a building within the settlement.

"Danielle, please calm down," said Luz, as Danielle walked back over. "Whoa, wait…"

"… … …" said Danielle, whimpering as she slumped to the ground, grabbing a shard of the tablet, not caring as she was going shadow. "Aster."

"What happened? What I miss?" asked Tarak, back and holding a few vials while looking around.

"Turns out the half human is not half witch but half whatever the Grand Huntsman is. And she laid a beat down after Elder Bill… shattered the… tablet…" replied Tarik, nervously chuckling before getting serious. "We're gonna have to consider my oldest brother's words. We need a new leader after what just happened."

"I couldn't agree more," said Tarak, before looking at Luz. "I believe you're leaving now, aren't you?"

"Yeah, we are," said Luz, glaring at Tarak. "And we're gonna destroy that portal of yours."

"No, don't!" said Tarik, looking at Luz. "That's the only way we can truly leave this island. Some of the mainland we trade with just so we can live our day to day lives. Without it, we won't have enough food to last the year to sustain us all. If it makes you happy, we'll give you all the keys that activate it, just don't destroy it."

"… …" said Luz, deeply inhaling. "Fine! Get all those keys!"

"Just give me and my family a little time and we'll procure them," said Tarik, before looking at his grandfather. "Let's go."

It had taken about twenty minutes for Tarik, Tarak and their family to procure all the keys. While waiting, Luz and King had slowly bundled up the shards of the tablet on the piece of cloth that was placed on King earlier. Luz hands it over to Danielle as she slowly cradles it, holding onto it like a lifeline, as she slowly calmed down and went back to normal. Tarik and Tarak come back with a box holding all the keys, handing it to Luz. Thanking them, Luz was able to slowly gear Danielle straight back to the docks and activate the portal.

Landing back on their side of the world, King digs a hole before Luz buries the box of keys. Seeing the ship nearby, everyone climbs into the bathtub and rows back. It took nearly the rest of the week to get back to the Boiling Isles. During that time, Danielle wouldn't let go of the bundle holding the shattered tablet. Seeing the Boiling Isles coming into view, King stares longingly at it.

"Um... hi," said King, hesitantly trying to wave to his dad.

"King!" said Luz, getting King's attention. "You want breakfast?"

"Her, Luz, Danielle… I'm sorry," said King, confusing the girls. "I just remembered everything and I got scared. I've read your Azura books. You even promised your mom and dad. I just thought I had to... prepare for a world without you two in it."

"Oh King, come here," said Danielle and Luz, as the two hugged King.

"Thank goodness we got to the Owl House early enough," said Steve, pushing a carriage filled with stuff from the Owl House.

"We didn't get everything out but at least we got the girls stuff and those games," said Warden Wrath, pushing alongside Steve and some others. "At least these games will keep the Collector busy should he be released again. I don't want to be a doll again."

"What was that?" asked Steve, hearing a roaring blast and turning around and seeing the Owl House on fire. "Eda is not gonna like this."

"We have them surrounded," said a Guard Captain, surrounding the Owl House with Coven Scouts while on crow phone.

"Good. Arrest anyone inside," said Kikimora, talking from crow phone. "For the Emperor."

"For the Emperor!" cheered the Coven Scouts and Guard Captain, only for Emperor Belos to walk before them. "Emperor Belos... we…"

Lighting his staff, Emperor Belos sets the Owl House ablaze. The fires roar as it starts to incinerate the Owl House. Bit by bit, the Owl House starts to collapse. Then all of a sudden, a golden dark shadow forms around it as it still burns, taking on a form reminisce of the ceiling art.

"What is that thing?" shouted the Coven Scouts, staring at the being before them.

"I am the Guardian of the noble house of Clawthorne," said The Being, staring at the Coven Scouts and Guard Captain before glaring at Emperor Belos. "What right do you have to burn this house down?"

"I don't have to answer to the likes of you," replied Emperor Belos, glaring at the Guardian. "All wild magic will be…"

"There is no such thing. Magic is magic," said the Guardian, glaring at Emperor Belos. "And unlike you, this realm has accepted those two girls."

"… …" said Emperor Belos, tcching.

"Know this Defiler, your end is near," said the Guardian, spreading its wings and taking off. "The only thing you'll see is fire and brimstone when you pass. Those girls will succeed while your empire falls."

"Okay, while the girls are gone," said Eda, looking at Lilith then pointing to the Agglomeration. "What do we do with these palisman souls?"

"I don't know," replied Lilith, staring at the Agglomeration. "I've never seen anything like it."

"They no longer have bodies," said Eda, trying to think. "So do we make them new bodies?"

"Sadly, that is not the case here," said Osran, walking forward. "We have to send them off. I can help with the process."

And so, Eda and Lilith helped Osran with what he needed. Gathering the materials needed to help the Agglomeration. With everything set and prayers sent, the Agglomeration slowly started to break apart it into their respectable forms before flying off into the unknown.

"Think they made it?" asked Eda, staring at the sky.

"We can only hope," replied Lilith, staring into the sky as well.

"That no good… Aaaaaah!" screamed Aster, silently punching the air. "I was almost free and he shattered the tablet. I could have been with the princess again. And King and Eda and Luz and… Hooty. This is ridiculous!"

"Aster, is everything okay?" asked Danny, seeing Aster leave the tablet.

"No, a Titan Trapper shattered the tablet they had," replied Aster, looking at Danny, before becoming concerned. "But then I would have left you. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't. Who knows what Belos would have done to you if I was released there."

"I'll be fine," said Danny, fighting off sleep.

"You don't look so good," said Aster, looking at Danny. "Are you sure you're, okay?"

"If I told you I was beginning to go dormant, what would you do?" asked Danny, looking at Aster as he became more concerned. "Nothing can stop it. And those shocks furthered it."

"No way," said Aster, staring at Danny. "Are you sure we can't stop it?"

"Yes," replied Danny, looking at Aster. "Don't tell anyone even Danielle but this is supposed to happen. It's because of Danielle's ascension that the subconscious or whatever wants me to go into a lifelong dormant."

"Life long?!" said Aster, not liking the sound of that.

"It's okay. Yes, I'm scared but it would be better this way," said Danny, smiling at Aster. "Danielle can start a normal life again without having to hear me. And I can finally sleep and somewhat rest in peace knowing that I was helpful in a way."

"Danny," said Aster, as Danny closed her eyes to rest a little. "Don't worry. We'll get you out of there and back to Danielle. I promise."
