Third pov

Year one

Naruto smiled as He walked down the street with two bags of roasted rabbit baked potatoes and corn. Naruto looked up at the night sky as we walked; he finished a cola.

"AH!"

Naruto looked over to the alley. Naruto stopped as he heard a struggle. Naruto sighed and started to walk into the alley. Naruto walked a little deeper into the alley until he saw two large men in the alley and saw they had a woman pinned against a wall with her mouth covered with a hand. She was dressed in a tight little pink top with jean shorts on with some ninja sandals on her feet. Naruto gave her another quick once over and saw she had pink hair and green eyes. Something about her seemed remailer to Naruto, but that wasn't important at the moment. The two men were dressed a little more like Ninja with two green vests. Naruto huffed in annoyance upon seeing them try to take her top off. He'd seen enough and pulled the arm back his arm with the cola bottle. He threw it and then yelled at them.

"HEY!"

The Ninja on the right looked up as the bottle slammed into his face and broke. He screamed as he held his face, and blood streamed down his face. He fell to the ground as Naruto jumped at the other scared ninja, his sword drawn and high over his head. He screamed as Naruto brought down the blade and took off his head off. The man's body fell to the ground, and Naruto sighed as he resheathed Hirst.

"T-thanks."

Naruto looked down at the girl, and I saw she looked at me, scared. He nodded before he walked over and stomped down on the other screaming ninja's head. His stopped as blood gushed as he bled out.

"Halt!"

Naruto looked up at the ANBU on the rooftops. Naruto sighed and crossed his arms after checking the food, glad to see no blood was on or in the bag. Naruto leaned against the wall and zoned out as the ANBU set up a crime scene around the alley. His mind wandered back to his years of training.

Ten years ago with Naruto.

Naruto smiled as he practiced the sword stances with Kojiro at his sideshow Naruto the basics of sword stances. As they practiced, Kojiro explained how to use Senju Musō.

"The main ability is to carefully observe your opponents. You'll have to develop the ability to analyze the information of your opponents before and during battle, such as their posture, the number of steps they take when walking, their breathing, and blinking. Use all this information to create a mental image of your opponent with which you'll fight by simulating the ts of patterns that the enemy's attacks may have. Once you master this you simulate thousands of possibilities. Even if your opponent becomes stronger during the course of the battle, you can adapt your Senju Musō style to be able to predict an opponent's attacks based on the experience of previous attacks. The more attacks you experience the better your predictions will become."

Naruto nodded as they practiced an upward block.

"Master Kojiro, can I ask a question?"

Kojiro nodded as they stopped their stance, training as Naruto spoke.

"Hirst and Brunnhilde taught me something called the shadow clone jutsu. They told me any information the clone gets comes back to me once it's destroyed or dispelled. So, couldn't I use a few clones to practice the stances? I would learn them and the muscle memory that much faster. I could also have some doing more chakra control practice to help me learn to finish tree walking and start water walking."

Kojiro blinked as he looked at his student, amazed at the idea.

"Yes, go ahead and try to use chakra to make a few clones."

Naruto nodded and then put his wooden sword on his side. Naruto made the cross-hand sign and flared his chakra, releasing an enormous amount for his age.

"Shadow clone jutsu!"

A hundred puffs of smoke erupted around the two, shocking Kojiro as he looked at the mass of clones around him. He looked at Naruto, worried Naruto had used too much chakra but was shocked to see Naruto was just fine. Kojiro smiled as he looked at his student.

"Okay."

All the clones gave Kojiro their attention.

"Half of you break off and start on the tree and water walk exercises. The other half I want half of you to start training with the original Naruto and me. The rest of you go inside and start to study seals and the books Hrist has gathered so far."

The clones did as Kojiro said, and the original smiled as he joined the line of clones.

"Okay, were starting to the basics again let's get going with the first stance."

They spent the rest of the year going through the basic and advanced stances, and Naruto used his clones to master the stances. His clone also reached level two seal master status. Hrist and Mito were so proud of how far he'd come in one year, but Mito sensed the beast she once held inside him. But it lacked much of its power. She'd asked Naruto about it, and he explained what his father with from what he knew. Mito was incensed at the stupidity of the fourth Hokage for not only Neglecting his son but ripping chakra out of a pure chakra beast. All he did was give the beast chakra exhaustion which; she could feel its power slowly coming back. But to the shock of everyone, Naruto said Hayami was actually really lovely once you get to know her. Mito made a decision that she'd find the truth no matter what.

The second year of training,

Naruto smiled as he ran across the river, wooden sword in hand, as he stared at Kojiro as he ran across from Naruto. He'd gotten the basics to Senju Musō but needed to learn to focus on both Senju Musō and chakra control. But Naruto had been thinking over what he and Hayami were talking about in his mindscape last night.

(Flashback)

Naruto smiled as he sat in front of Hirst, letting her brush out his long hair. Hrist finished and gave Naruto a kiss on the cheek before Naruto hugged her legs. After he let her legs go, he rushed off to the bedroom they'd made for him. He smiled as he opened his door and saw the large room. Naruto smiled as he looked at the large bed with a nightstand on both sides. On the bed was a large bear skin cover. The bed ream was a dark oak wood with axe carvings on the sides with a set of carved swords crossed on the headboard. On the right was a dark oak desk with a weighted training sword beside it. Across from the desk was a large foot-tall bookshelf. Naruto smiled as he walked in and closed the door before clapping his hand, and candles lit up around the room. Naruto made the tiger hand sign. A few seconds later, red chakra covered Naruto before he made a hand sign on the Kyuubi's behavior. A second later, a red cloud flew over and formed a body a minute later. A young girl appeared in a plain red kimono with three crimson tails coming out from underneath the kimono. On her head were two fox ears with black tips. Her skin was slightly pale, and her eyes were a bright red with a black slit in the center.

"Naruto-kun!"

Hayami jumped onto Naruto and snuggled into his chest as they lay on the ground.

"Okay, okay a deal is a deal lets get in bed."

"Haha, I'm so glad Mito played with the seal and lets me out with my own clones until she can get me all the way out."

Naruto laughed as he picked her up, and they walked over to the bed. Hayami smiled as she climbed under the bearskin cover loving the feel of the softened skin of the bear. Naruto laughed as he climbed into bed, and Hayami cuddled into his side, a smile on her face. Naruto wrapped his arms around her, and she wrapped her tails around him.

"Hey Naruto-kun. Do you think when the real me gets out could we sleep like this?"

Naruto smiled as he held Hayami close to him.

"I'd like that."

Hayami sighed as she rested her head on Naruto's shoulder. Naruto smiled as he stroked Hayami's hair as he felt her breathing even out. Naruto thought she'd dispel once the morning came.

(End Flashback)

Naruto dodged a downward strike and countered with a stepping thrust. Kojiro dodged and swung his sword to the side. Naruto blocked and tried to kick Kojiro back. Kojiro grabbed Naruto's leg and spun, taking Naruto off his other foot and turned, throwing Naruto back onto the ground. Kojiro jumped, sword raised high.

"AH!"

Kojiro was kicked away by Hayami, shocking Naruto. He'd woken up alone, thinking she'd dispelled her yokai clone. Kojiro slammed back into the ground, holding his side as Hayami stood over him, a smile on her face. She was in a white dress with her hair braided like Hirst.

"Nice kick Hayami."

Naruto and Kojiro looked over and saw Minto with Hrist, Brunnhilde, and Mito behind her, smiles on their faces. After Kojiro called the end of the training, Mito explained that she had applied a seal to Hayami to allow her to regain her power quicker, and she was close to getting her real body out. Hayami smiled as she grabbed onto Naruto's arm. Kojiro laughed as he sat up and looked at the two.

"Okay, you two go see what those three want. I need to get something ready for tomorrow."

Kojiro laughed as he watched Hayami drag Naruto away.

'Oh boy, with a kick like that after tomorrow she's going to try and kill me.'

Naruto sighed as Hayami sat Naruto down under a tree and laid her head on his shoulder, holding onto his arm. Naruto liked the feel of someone holding onto him that wasn't one of his sister's crazed clinging. Hayami's stomach growled, surprising Naruto. Hayami smiled as she spoke.

"Mito, finished the seal so once she's ready, she can pull my soul and body out, and I'll have my body back."

Naruto smiled before Hrist's yelling could be heard.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!?"

Naruto and Hayami laughed as they heard Kojiro laughing. Hayami sighed as she and Naruto watched Kojiro run past them, Hrist and Mito close behind him. Naruto smiled as he watched them as they caught Kojiro and started to drag him back towards the house. Hayami laughed as she stood up and pulled Naruto up.

"Let's see what he's cooking up this time."

Naruto laughed again, and Hayami interlocked their fingers. As they walked, they saw two real swords on the ground. One was a curved katana like master Kojiro's and a straight katana. Naruto grabbed the straight katana and felt the weight.

"I see so you went for the straight Katana Naruto."

Naruto and Hayami looked back over and saw Kojiro sitting down on a log with a group a men behind him. At the front was a large burly man with an X-shaped scar on his forehead. He has black hair and black eyes, and a beard. He's wearing a dark robe. Naruto locked eyes with the large man; the two stared each other down. Naruto gripped his sword tighter as they looked at each other. The man smiled as he looked at him.

"He's fearless. Kojiro a boy like him is glaring down a seasoned swordsman. He's going to be one hell of a swordsman once were done with him."

Naruto smiled as he looked at the men in front of him. Hayami looked between the two then what he said hit her. Hayami glared at the men, and Kojiro laughed before he looked away.

'Ya, she's going to try and kill us all again.'

For the rest of the year, Naruto used his clones to learn the styles of the other masters. The first to teach him was Kojiro's old master Segien Toda when Naruto was the first elderly male with swept-back white hair and a beard to match. He didn't think much of him but was overwhelmed with the skill the elderly master. His style was basic, but the skill of how he used it made defense near impossible. It took Naruto a month with a thousand clones to master the style of the Toda school of swordsmanship. After him, Ittosai Itto had him learn each kenjutsu style his school helped create or influence. Ono-ha, Mizoguchi-ha, Nakanishi-ha, Kogen, Hokushin, and Itto Shoden. His swordsmanship style was well known for its brute strength. Sekishusai Kagyu Spent three weeks training Naruto clones in speed-based foot and precision strikes. Kami Kamiizumi, also known as the sword saint, had the sword style he most favored among the ones he'd learned so far. He appeared to be a calm and optimistic gentleman. He has a deep passion for swordsmanship and a deep respect for Master Kojiroi. In December, with snow covering the ground, Naruto looked up at the man who respected his master more than any of the others, Musashi Miyamoto. Naruto growled as he held his eye, blood running down his face from his cut from the sword strike. At Naruto's side was Hayami, both dressed in jeans and long sleeve shirts. On their shoulders were bear skin capes with brown fur on their shoulders. On the ground, Naruto's blood turned the snow red. The now eleven-year-old Naruto was starting to get some muscles in his chest, shoulders, back, and arms. His hair was touching his shoulder, his bangs slightly hanging over his eyes. Hayami had her hair tied back with red eyes glaring at Miyamoto.

"WHY!"

Hayami yelled as she looked at the sword in Miyamoto's hand.

"Because we have someone who was about to help Naruto go far beyond what any normal ninja or human could do."

Hayami was about to yell at them before they all heard footsteps in the snow. Hayami looked over and saw a man with platinum-blonde hair and big sky blue eloquent eyes. He looked young and muscular, but she was naked, with only a large leaf covering his crotch. He was very calm and collected. It seemed like the cold wasn't bothering him at all.

"Hayami, you need to move and give the progenitor humanity, Adam, some room."

Hayami held Naruto tight and slashed her fangs. Black whisker marks formed on her face, and her eyes glowed red as she glared at Adam. Four blood-red tails flew out from under her cape, and she pressed Naruto's chest into her chest, blood getting on her shirt.

"I can fix him go away!"

Adam smiled as he looked down at Hayami.

"I see my boy found a girl who loves him a lot. But, the eyes is gone. I'm giving him one of mine."

Hayami was about to scream at him before he slammed a hand into his eyesocket. She stopped dead and watched as Adam ripped his eye out and grounded before he started to walk over, blood running out.

"I know you may not trust me, but. All of mankind is my family. After hearing about what one of my son's and daughters have done. I want to heard that will end with this generation."

Hayami calmed down as Adam stopped a foot away from the two. Adam reached down, grabbed the back of Naruto's cape, and pulled him away from Hayami, who tried to stop him. Hrist grabbed Hayami and Brunhilde grabbed her arms. They pulled her away as Hayami screamed and yelled for the blonde bastard to get away from Naruto. Miyamoto held Naruto still and his hand away from the damage as Adam got to a knee.

"This is going to hurt a lot. Feel free to punch me once he let's go."

Adam looked at the cut and saw it had destroyed the eyes and cut into the bone. Adam sighed before, in one quick moment, he ripped Naruto's destroyed eye, making him scream. Hayami doubled her struggle, angry tears coming to her eyes as her yokai poured out.

"GET AWAY FROM MY NARUTO!"

Adam put his eye in before the blast from her yell threw everyone away. She ran over to Naruto and covered her hands in her yokai to attach and keep the new eye in his eye socket. Hayami pressed her hands over the wound, healing and attaching the eye. When she finished that, she healed the bone and started on the skin to stop a scar from being left. But, she was pulled away before she could stop the scar from forming. She glared behind her and froze as she looked at the Shinigami standing above her, a passive look on his face.

"He'll be fine, but your coming with me for a little while. We need to talk for a little while."

They vanished in a dark purple wind as Naruto was taken to the house with the help of Hrist.

"Where is Hayami?"

Hrist smiled as she spoke in her soft voice.

"She went with a friend for a little while."

Hrist took Naruto into the house and treated what was left of the wound. After an hour, Hayami walked back in and rushed up to Naruto. She hugged Naruto and pulled back her hand covered in yokai chakra, ready to finish healing Naruto's wound. Naruto held a hand up and stopped her.

"I spoke with master Kojiro. I'll be keeping the scar, Hayami. I think it will remind me of everything I've learned and everything I will learn. Like master Kojiro said, scars can show experience can intimidate an opponent into backing down before a fight starts."

Hayami wanted to heal the scar, but if Naruto would fight her yokai chakra. It would burn him from her natural fire affinity. But, she smiled then Naruto pulled her into a hug. Hayami sat herself on Naruto's lap and hugged Naruto tightly.

Third year

Naruto smiled as he laid another board of new wood on the shrine floor. He smiled as he stood up and looked at the now fully restored floor. Naruto was glad for the work after Master Kojiro's death. Hayami had tried her best to be by his side, but Naruto had forced her to go back to Hrist's realm. Naruto had used the transformation jutsu to make himself look like a normal civilian in case any Konoha ninja came around. Naruto walked out of the shrine and looked at his work. The floor and stairs of the shine were finished, and the paper doors were restored.

"Your restoring the shrine?"

Naruto turned his head and saw a ninja with a Konoha headband on his head. He was a tall man with brown eyes, olive skin, short black spiky hair, and a beard. His clothing consisted of the standard Konoha ninja uniform with the sleeves rolled up halfway. He also had a sash that had the kanji for fire on his waist. A pair of black bangles and bandages wrapped around the arms of his sleeves. Naruto nodded as he looked at the man.

"Ya, a young boy I ran across told me this is where he met his sword master once he left this place."

Naruto looked away, pretending he didn't catch the wondering look on the man's face.

"Strangest boy I'd ever met. Definitely the first with whisker marks on his face."

"WHAT!?"

Naruto jumped, keeping the act going, before a man grabbed him and turned him around. Naruto came face to face with his father and noticed the other man had one of his kunai on the ground.

"Where did you see Naruto!?"

Minato shook Naruto before he grabbed his hands and pulled them off his shoulders.

"First off, don't do that. Second I don't know where the kid is now. I meet him and his sword master over a month ago when they were heading for the land of snow to leave the elemental nations. Something about being picked up by a ship."

Naruto that Hayami for teaching him to come up with good lies on the spot. Minato let his arms drop, and Naruto rubbed the back of his head as he looked at his old father figure. Then the thought of stabbing the knife deeper crossed his mind.

"Hm, you know. Now that I think back, I remember the kid saying he may come back to the elemental nations one day, But, I can't remember what he said. Something about beating someone into the ground before taking his head."

Naruto smiled at the worried looks on their faces.

"Well, thanks for the information, but I'm sorry to tell you but you can't mess with this shrine anymore. It was destroyed in a surprise attack in the third great ninja and we left it as a reminder of the past."

Naruto nodded, a little annoyed with his father, with a small grunt. He seem to pick up on it and narrowed his eyes.

"What?"

Naruto sighed before he crossed his arms and looked at his former father.

"Sins of the fathers not learning from the past. That boy is your son, I'm guessing? Mind telling me why he's calling another man his father and another woman his mother? It was pretty clear they have no blood relationship."

That seemed to cut Minato deeper than Naruto had expected. Minato clinched his fist and teeth before looking at Naruto again.

"I expect you to leave before the end of the day."

Minato disappeared, and Naruto saw the other man was gone, and the kunai was gone as well. Naruto laughed. A sick joy filled him when he thought of that crushed look on his father's face. He looked crushed when he spoke, and he could only imagine what his former mother would feel soon. Naruto walked back over to the shrine and then pulled an iron key from his pocket. Naruto tapped the door three times. He opened the door and smiled as he dropped the transformation and walked through the door.

Fourth years

"Tell me why were doing this again?"

"We're heading off to find a bandit camp. I need experience and to finally kill someone to get that over with."

Hayami nodded as Naruto landed and stopped on the branch of the largest tree in the area. He sat down, and Hayami sat down beside me. Hayami was dressed in a crimson battle kimono with black biker shorts on under the lower end of the kimono. On her feet were a set of heels with back blades for cutting with a kick. Naruto adjusted the headband, and he had wrapped it around his eyes. Naruto had learned anything he saw with this eye allowed him to perfectly copy and remember any move or action. He'd copied Hayami's fox fighting style by accident. It was a defense-heavy style focused on leaping, dodging and blocking, and moving as fast as possible. Hayami hadn't cared and showed him the advanced set giving Naruto a taijutsu which he lacked.

"Naruto what's wrong."

Naruto sighed before he stood back up and looked ahead into the trees.

"Just thinking about it all. After four years and here we are, heading off into the world to make our own way. We're going to need money and lots of it. I'm going to go back to that hellhole and prove to them it was wrong to turn their backs on me."

Hayami smiled at the idea. "So are we going to make the village a literal hell or?"

Naruto laughed as he stood up on the branch.

"Oh, we'll give them hell like they've never seen."

Hayami smiled before she stood up and then rushed off after her Naruto-Kun. They spent the next four weeks hunting down bandits and a few missing nin's. They collected the small bounties of the ninja and bandit leaders. Naruto had been cut a few times and had Hayami heal him until he had a scar, then stopped him. She had come to understand this was what their life was now, and she wouldn't change it. Hayami was glad to have her own body back and glad she'd grow back to what she was with Naruto at her side. She knew Naruto was what she wanted but had to wait a little while longer before she could make him hers. But, at the moment, the two were fighting a small group of missing-nin. They'd already killed the leader, a B-ranked missing-nin with a bounty of 100,000 Ryo. Naruto smiled as he predicted the slow movement. Naruto predicted he'd go for an overhead strike. Naruto jumped, stabbing the man through the chest as he threw his sword over his head. Naruto kicked him back then, blocked a strike, then turned, and grabbed the other man's sword as his body fell. Grabbing the sword out of the air. Naruto threw his arm up, taking out the man's chest and throat.

"Naruto duck!"

Naruto dropped as a storm of Kunai hit the last living ninja. Naruto snapped back up and looked around, stopping as he saw Hayami looking over at him. They were the last two alive in the small clearing where the battle had taken place. Hayami had blood on her clothes and claw-like hands with a splash across her face. Naruto had gotten used to seeing his best friend's blood thirst once she got into a fight. But, something about that crazed look in her eyes. Naruto spun the ninja's sword before sheathing his own sword and walking past her. Hayami smiled as she retracted her claws. Hayami hummed as she watched Naruto look through the bodies.

"Looking for the head?"

"Ya, you remember where the guy's body was?"

"Look up."

Naruto did and saw the body impelled on a large branch of the tree to his left.

"Damn, Hayami. Why did you throw the body up there?"

Naruto jumped onto the branch and cut the man's head off, then used a signless fireball jutsu to burn the man's body. Naruto sealed the head into the scroll and then jumped back down. Naruto sighed as he looked at her taking all the other heads for the small bounties you get from missing nin heads. On average, you could get two to five-thousand Ryo since the majority left their villages as Genin or ran off during a mission.

"Someone is coming this way."

They jumped high back into the burning tree, using the smoke to hide both their bodies and smell, knowing some ninjas have the ability to pick on that. They erased their presence as why they waited. Four samurai walked into the clearing, and Naruto saw the firecrest on their shoulder guards. Seeing no threat, the two left the area.

Fifth-year

Hayami laughed as she counted the last score they made after killing the shipping tycoon Gato. The wave village had given them an empty house to stay in a while in the village. They'd gotten 2,800,000,000 Ryo out of him and all his bank accounts. But, unknown to Hayami, Naruto had taken five hundred million Ryo from the stash they'd made. Naruto gave the money to Tazuna, the man they met out on the road. Naruto had respect for the man seeing that he decided to fight rather than to lay down and take it. Naruto sighed as he laid back on the couch in the living room.

"Hey we got plenty of money so why not find a place and settle down for a while?"

Naruto sat up from the couch and looked into the kitchen as Hayami sealed up all the cash, gold, gems, and other valuables. He laughed as he looked at her.

"What? You want to settle into domestic life with kids."

Naruto watched as Hayami blushed, then looked away from him. Naruto blushed before he laughed and got up.

"Well, I saw a man cooking rabbit in the market so I'm going to go and get some. Do you want some rabbit too?"

Hayami nodded, and Naruto opened the door and stopped as he looked up at a large white fox. The fox was five feet tall, sitting with four tails behind it. It has dark blue eyes like a gem and looked him deep in the eye. Then the fox narrowed it eyes.

"I know you have one of my kind trapped here. Die human."

Naruto raised his arm to grab his sword off his back. Naruto panicked and forgot to use senju musō in his panic. Two tails flew around the fox's body. One sliced his arm open, and the other came up from under his arm, tearing his chest open. Naruto broke through the wall and slammed into the back wall. Hayami screamed as she rushed over and started to heal Naruto before the white fox came walking in. It stopped when it saw the teen girl.

"Why are you helping a human?"

Hayami turned and glared at the white fox as seven red fox tails shot out from under her kimono. Ears popped out of her hair, and her fangs grew out with black whisker marks formed on her cheeks. Hayami stood up. Her claws came out as her yokai came pouring out and the white fox looked like it knew it had done something wrong.

"You lowly snow fox! You dare attack my Naruto-Kun!?"

The fox lowered his head and backed up to a wall, terrified as he looked at her. Sure he was strong, but this vixen was far above him in power. Hayami jumped at him, arm pulled back, claws covered in blue fire. The flame turned burning as hot as her rage for this foolish fox that attacked her Naruto-Kun. Naruto came back around a second later and saw Hayami had the other fox's head in her hand with the body hanging in the hole in the wall. Black burnt claw marks were cut deep into the sides of the fox's neck. Naruto got up and sighed as he walked and saw the death wasn't easy.

"We need to get the wall fixed and do something with the fox's body."

"I'll burn the body he was a weak four snow fox is only a one tail beast to me."

Naruto nodded as he looked at Hayami.

"Best to get to work then. I'll set up an area for the burn then will fix the wall."

Naruto walked out of the house and sighed as he walked into the forest.
