Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune engaged the Gundalian soldiers in close combat. "Something tells me these guys aren't related to the Heart Snatchers.", Sailor Uranus noted.
"Not directly.", was Sailor Neptune's response. "They don't even seem to be from this universe at all. I've never seen anything like them in my visions."
"If they're new around these parts, then we should give them a warm welcome.", Uranus then unleashed her attack against the soldiers advancing on her. "Uranus World Shaking!" The blast of high pressure wind sent the Gundalians flying backwards.
"Neptune Deep Submerge!" Neptune launched her own attack to take out the rest of the group, leaving only the Professor. "Who sent you to get rid of us? And why?", she demanded.
"I'll never tell you!", the scientist growled in response. He then took out his three Bakugan, throwing two of them out. "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan, stand!" The two he had thrown emerged in their giant forms. "Aquos Fangoid and Haos Longfly!"
The two Bakugan enlarged to giant size, as Dan came running onto the scene. "Looks like I got here just in time.", he commented.
Uranus and Neptune turned towards the newcomer. "Who are you?", Uranus asked.
"Someone who knows how to deal with this.", was Neptune's answer. "At least, that's the vibe I get from him."
Dan then took out his Bakumeter and pressed a few buttons. Ready, Jakalier! "Alright, let's go - Dra." Dan then stopped himself, as he finally noticed that something was missing. "Ahh! I must've left him behind when I set off without thinking."
Uranus and Neptune proceeded to face fault. "So much for him being on top of things.", Uranus sighed.
It was then that Fabia and the other Sailor Scouts showed up. "Ah, the gang's all here.", the Professor commented sarcastically. "Though your star player's lost the ball, as it were."
"Then perhaps he can borrow one.", Fabia decided as she threw Aranaut onto the Mobile Assault that Dan had summoned, which changed it to Haos colours. "Dan, I'm entrusting Aranaut to you."
"Thanks, Fabia.", Dan nodded as a dotted line appeared in front of Jakalier. "Mobile Assault, launch!"
Aranaut enlarged, riding on a flying moped. "In the name of the Castle Knights, your evil filth can eat my dust!", he declared.
"So what do you know, the Princess's Bakugan has a sense of humour.", the Professor noted. He then shifted to a human form of his own, with his clothes changing into a smart suit, coloured white, with a blue shirt and a green tie. He then took out his own Bakumeter. "Summoning a Mobile Assault takes up a lot of energy, so I'm sure you'll understand my switch to a human form." He entered a code to summon his own Mobile Assault. Ready, Axellor!
The Sailors were shocked by this. "He has one of those Mobile thingies too?", Lita commented.
"Of course he does, Jupiter.", Mars chided her friend. "But what I'm more interested in is the fact he could turn into a human."
"All Neathians and Gundalians are capable of it.", Fabia answered. "We've never been sure why exactly, but perhaps whatever force guided our species down its evolutionary path knew we'd unite with humans one day."
The Professor ignored this, throwing his Mobile Assault at Fangoid. "Mobile Assault, launch!" Fangoid's bipedal body was soon obscured by a mechanical, snake-like body that obscured all but its head. Said body had a pair of robotic claws on the ends of spindly arms, and tank treads on the bottom. "Now, you'll witness my full power." He held up a Battle Gear Ability card. "Ability, activate! Artillery Nail!"
Fangoid launched breams of energy from its claws, which Aranaut nimbly dodged. "Dan, let's go.", Aranaut called out.
"Right.", Dan nodded. "Ability, activate! Mirage Up!" Aranaut manoeuvred upwards, dodging the shot, before firing one from Jakalier that knocked Axellor back. Aranaut then leapt from the Mobile Assault, prepping for another attack. "Ability, activate! Spiral Glowdown!" Aranaut, with the extra power now granted to him, leapt towards Longfly, knocking him into Fangoid to defeat both of them. "Alright.", Dan commented before turning to the Professor. "Whatever you and General Vladimir have planned with the heart snatchers, I'm gonna put a stop to it.", he told the Professor.
The Professor seemed impressed by this. "So it seems that Sailor Scouts have filled you in enough to know our purpose for being here. Yes, we've made a deal with the Heart Snatchers." He then pointed at Sailor Moon and her party. "It involves you girls." The Professor smiled, his eyes glowing a bright yellow as he looked Dan in the eye. "I'll show you the first part of our deal." He pulled out a Daimon egg, but the centre was coloured green, rather than the usual pink. He threw it at a gargoyle statue, which promptly turned into a winged female, with wings and a dragon-like helmet. "Behold, a Daimon implanted with the DNA of a Ventus Bakugan." He said this towards Sailor Moon, while looking at her eye-to-eye with his yellow irises.
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!", Sailor Jupiter yelled, launching a ball of electricity at the newly created Daimon.
"Feather Shield", the creature said, as it erected a shield to protect itself.
"Moon Tiara Action!", Sailor Moon called out, only to meet the same effect.
The Professor smiled. "As you can see, my creation can stop anything you might throw at it. And with its ability to remove Pure Hearts from individuals, the Neathians' ability to retaliate against it will be stripped from them. Though perhaps, I should send a messenger to warn them, in the spirit of fair play." His third Bakugan emerged into its standing form and flew over to Dan, but Sailor Venus jumped in the way, getting teleported away with it.
"Venus, no!", Sailor Moon called out. "That's it you creep. You're through!" She leapt into the air, preparing to initiate a kick attack. Fabia recognised it as a pose favoured by Japanese heroes on television.
But before the attack could connect, she was intercepted by the Baku-Daimon, launching its own attack. "Feather Imprison!" She launched feathers the surrounded Sailor Moon, spinning at high enough speed they essentially trapped her. "I've got her in my grasp, Boss."
"Good work. Now to dispense with the riff raff. I think I know just where to send them." He took out a card that featured an unusual skull and dropped it on the ground. Dan was wise enough to jump out of the way, before the card dissolved into a portal, into which Fabia and the other Sailor Scouts fell.
"Princess!", Aranaut called out. "Let me help you!"
"No.", Fabia urged. "You'll just get trapped with us. You have to head back to Neathia and warn the others. They'll have to stop this thing without me." While she tried to appear positive during this, Fabia was sad on the inside, as she knew that Aranaut was losing another partner. Only unlike Jin, there was no forgetting her as she and her situational allies disappeared into the portal, which closed swiftly.
Aranaut hesitated for a moment, before returning to ball form. "Right, Princess." In his haste to follow orders, Aranaut teleported back to Neathia, leaving Dan alone.
The Daimon moved to attack her remaining opponent. "Blow Away!", she cried sending their remaining foe into the water. As they swam away, Eugeal came out of her hiding place(namely, her car).
"Good work on getting rid of those pests, Professor." She said, in a sincere tone. "But you didn't do anything to dispose of the other two. You simply captured one and let another go."
"Oh, don't worry.", the Professor assured her. "I planted the boy with some post hypnotic suggestions when he caught my eye, while keeping the girl so I can fully bring her over to our side. If all goes to plan, they'll dispose of themselves."
Eudial smiled at this. "How interesting. I look forward to the results."
