At Rei's temple, Drago and the two cats bore witness as Dan stumbled in through the doors, soaking wet. "Dan, what happened out there?", Drago asked. "Where are Fabia and the other girls?"
"They're gone.", Dan wheezed. "I'm all that's left."
Both Luna and Artemis were shocked to hear this. "Gone? But how?", Artemis asked.
"They were sent to the Doom Dimension.", Dan answered. "All except for Mina and Aranaut. They're currently back on Neathia, where they can mobilise some help from our allies."
Luna was intrigued. "What is this 'Doom Dimension'? Could we recover the girls from it easily?"
"I'm afraid not?", Drago answered her. "Once you've been sent to the Doom Dimension, there's no hope of return. Dan and I were sent there once, and we barely escaped with help from Vestroia's ancient protectors, the Six Ancient Warriors. But since they sacrificed themselves to save New Vestroia, I inherited their power. And there's no guarantee I can replicate their portal."
"So in other words, the girls are stuck there.", Artemis sighed. "Meaning that only Darien and Rini are left to defend Earth."
"Nevertheless, they are our best hope.", Luna said in response as she leapt off. "I'll go and find them. We need all the help we can get."
No sooner had she gone did Dan pick up Drago and begin to walk out. "Hey, where are you going?", Artemis asked.
"I can't wait for your friends to get here.", Dan stated, with some slight annoyance. "I'm going to face Vladimir and Dr. Tomoe face on."
"Dan's right.", Drago nodded. "Now that they think their enemies are out of the equation, they're not going to sit and wait for us to gather our own allies. We need to strike first."
With that said, Dan and Drago set off from the temple.
Back at the mansion, Dr. Tomoe's assistant Kaolinite, alias Kaori Knight, had brought the doctor and Eugeal before the Sovereign of Silence.
"What is the meaning of this?", the little girl demanded. "Why have you brought these two before me?"
"Forgive me, oh great Sovereign, but I wish to discuss our new "allies".", Kaori turned to the Doctor. "How can you allow them to remove the serum that allows our Daimons to grow and adapt? You are dooming our mission to failure."
"Oh shut up, Kaori.", Eugeal snapped. "Your just jealous because you're not Tomoe's favourite anymore."
Kaori growled. "I may be jealous, but I'm also concerned. What do we get out of this deal?"
At this, the doctor smiled. "In return for the extract, the General and his scientific adviser have promised us a strength booster, in the form of the DNA from these Bakugan creatures they all seem to have. They also get to take out both our enemies."
Eugeal was surprised to hear this. She knew little about their guests, except for the fact that they were aliens. "They have enemies as well? I thought the Professor disposed of Dan Kuso and Princess Fabia."
"Yes, Eugeal. They are fighting a war with another species, that the Princess Fabia hails from. This mutagen will help boost their Bakugan so that they can win their war." He then turned to Kaolinite. "And with all resistance removed from both worlds, the great Pharaoh 90 will use the General and his troops as a vessel to bring the great silence to not just Earth, but the planets Gundalia and Neathia. Do you have any other objections?"
"No, Dr. Tomoe, I don't." With that, everyone left the room. Enough time had been wasted already. They had to prepare an army of Baku-Daimons to launch a mass attack on all un-targeted people in the city. By nightfall, they would hopefully possess all three of the Talismans.
On Gundalia, Gil walked into the Emperor's throne room. "Well, have you found the traitors?", Barodius asked, clearly annoyed at their earlier escape stunt.
"Not quite yet.", Gil answered. "But we do have a promising lead. One of the Bakugan registered to Operative Galloway materialised back on Neathia an hour ago. But it was being wielded by an unknown Brawler, a human comparable to the ages of the kids we captured from Interspace. But according to scans of the transport energy she emitted, she doesn't hail from Earth."
Barodius seemed intrigued by this. "So, she's a native of Vestal then? Or from a parallel universe to that of Dan Kuso and his friends."
"The second option seems likely, sire.", Gil nodded. "And since she was using one of the traitors' Bakugan to attack us, they must've found allies in that world to help overthrow us." Then he brought out a scan of the girl's energy signature. "But in better news, we've analysed the transport energy surrounding her, and figured out how to replicate it to send a small party through to the other side."
"Then what are you waiting for?", Barodius asked. "Take Kazarina, Airzel and as many troops as you can bring through, and travel to this universe, find the traitors and capture or execute them."
"As you wish, my Emperor.", Gil nodded as he left the room, to be greeted by Kazarina and Airzel. "We have permission to proceed with a pursuit mission."
"That's a good thing.", Kazarina smiled. "Because my analysis shows that unless we can get that crystal the traitors and the Brawlers used to transport themselves into that universe, we can only send three people on a one way trip."
"And with the likely probability that more of the crystal exists on the other end, then we'll also have to focus on securing that, Master.", Airzel added.
"So that gives us another objective.", Gil said in response. "And a few more people to kill in order to accomplish the mission." The trio then proceeded to the makeshift machine that Kazarina had created and activated it, sending them to the other dimension to hunt down Dan Kuso and Vladimir.
