Diary Entry Number 1:
My name is Gabriel, but my friends call me Gabe. It's been a while since I moved from my old public school, to my current Catholic highschool, and I must admit, it's appearance reminds me of a college.
I still remember my old fight with those boys who picked on my friend Sophia (a monster-girl of the rabbit kind), but I prayed for them, and Father John explained the matter to me well. He told me it was okay for me to intervene, but not for me to hold a grudge against them.
I am still re-discovering my faith and trying to get a much more solid foundation with God's help, as I take my new life in stride and try to enjoy it, along with the new rhythm it brings.
I've been getting back into basketball, something I haven't used to do in a while. I've realized that I could try to develop it a little more, as it's fun and I've been doing well. I've realized that if I try to imitate a player that I admire and inspires me, I can get "in the zone", which makes me feel like a shonen anime protagonist LOL.
Truly, I still have a lot to learn, but, at the same time, my life is more interesting than ever, every day brings something new, and every time I manage to get a little bit more out of my comfort zone, and meeting so many nice people certainly feels good!
After a somewhat drab and grey life at my previous school, I am glad to know that I have been blessed at last, with some color. I'm looking forward to see where all this may take me, and where I may end up at the end of it all.
After all, I only have 2 years left.
