The second world war that the world has ever been in full swing, and it is up to the heroes of the Justice Society to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all. But in a twist of fate, a hero from the future comes to their aid. Will Ben 10 help the Justice Society win the war, or will they fail to stop an ancient enemy before he destroys the world? Find out in Ben 10: WW2.

Hello everyone, I'm back with a new story, and boy am I excited for this first chapter. I know that I've been quiet for a while, but that's just because I've been working as hard as I can for this story as well as dealing with getting into the Disney college program. I understand that a lot of you want more chapters from the other stories that I have written in the past, such as Halo Wars, Ben 10: Alfea Alien, Halo: Earth Mightiest Heroes, as well as many other stories. I promise I will get to those stories in due time, just please understand that I have a life as well as doing others stuff such as writing my own sci-fi novels. Anyway, getting back to the story at hand, this story has been a long time coming ever since the Justice Society WW2 movie came out, although I must warn all of you ahead of time that this version of the movie will be different in more ways than one. And by different, I mean that there will be more characters from the Justice Society comics in this story, as well as a better ending than the movie did. Anyway, that's all I can say for now. Enough with the chitchat; let's get on with the show.

Prologue

12/19/1939

Drowning, that's the last thing that Steve Trevor, ace pilot of the United States Air Force, remembered before his plane crashed down into the ocean courtesy of those damn Nazis. He had to admit, though, that he had at least prevented them from creating more superweapons of mass destruction. As he started to lose consciousness, he thought he saw the silhouette of what appeared to be a raven-haired woman in what seemed to be a type of Greek warrior getup. When he finally became conscious, he realized that he was in what appeared to be a Greek nursing room. As he continued to observe his surroundings, he saw that the bed that he was on was under what seemed to be a pink light of some kind. "Where on heaven or earth am I"? As he started to get up, Steve suddenly felt a sharp pain shoot straight through his head. This action caused him to wince and clutch both sides of his head. "Ah, it seems that you have finally awakened". When Steve reopened his eyes, his jaw literally dropped to the floor. Standing before him were some of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. Not the supermodel type of beautiful that you would see in a magazine catalog, more god-sculpted kind of beautiful. The first woman who stood in front of the other four had raven black hair and was wearing what appeared to be a Greek purple toga with red, blue, and golden armor.

The other two on the right side of the raven-haired woman were redheads wearing two different types of outfits. The tall redhead in the front was wearing what looked like the same type of armor that the raven-haired woman was wearing, only she had a bow and a quiver of arrows. All the while, she glared at him as if he had already committed a crime and was prepared to shoot him with one of her arrows. The redhead behind her, however, seemed to be more relaxed and had a more librarian-type of look to her, like she had all the answers in the world ready to be given to bring everlasting peace to the world. The women on the right side of the raven-haired woman seemed to be her daughters, considering that they both had raven-hair styles just like her; only one was shorter than the other. Both of the raven-haired girls were wearing the same type of Greek wardrobe, except that one was blue and the other was purple. If he hadn't been injured and had any less self-control, he probably would have fainted from the sheer stunning beauty of their figures and asked one or all of them out at the same time. "If I did really die in that plane crash and went to heaven, then this isn't such a bad way to go. At least the angels here are hotter than any of the ones I've seen before at bars and parties".

As Steve continued to stare, he suddenly became aware that he must've started to make the woman uncomfortable because of his staring. Shaking his head, Steve tried to get up. Only he then felt a sharp pain shoot straight through his legs. Steve winced as he grabbed his ankles, rubbing them to ease the pain out of his joints. "At ease, young warrior, the healing energy has not yet finished its job yet". The short redhead said as she helped Steve back up onto the bed. When Steve looked back up at the woman, he realized that the tall, Raven-haired woman in the blue Greek toga seemed vaguely familiar. It was then that it hit him. It was the same girl that saved his life from drowning in the plane crash. "It's you"! Steve said in surprise. "You're the one that saved my life". The lead raven-hair turned to where he was looking and smiled as she said to him, "Ah, it would seem that you have met my daughter Diana". Said the raven-haired woman now known as Diana, who only blushed in embarrassment and turned away from her. Knowing fully well that her mother would praise her for her actions even though she would admit that it was nothing but just her doing the right thing and helping a person in need. As Steve waited for the healing, the lead raven-haired woman said to him, "Now that you have been almost healed up from your wounds, I believe that it is time we introduce ourselves. I am Queen Hippolyta of Themyscira".

She then turned and gestured to her left at the redheads as she continued the introduction. "To my left are Artemis and Alexa, our head general and top scholar". Both redheads nodded in the introduction while Alexa gave Steve a welcoming smile; Artemis only continued to glare at him as if he was still a criminal. "And to my right are my daughters, Diana, whom you have already met, and Donna, the princesses of Themyscira". Both princesses gave Steve welcoming smiles as they waved hello to him. As Steve looked at them, his eyes connected with Dianas, and as if on cue, he started to feel like there was some form of electricity in the air, and he continued to stare into hers. As they continued to gaze into each other's eyes, he suddenly noticed that the pink light that had been over him as he was healing from it suddenly disappeared. As he wondered where it had gone, Alexa then said to him, "The healing rays have finished their work, you should be fully healed about now". Nodding in understanding, he slowly got, and once he found out that there was absolutely no pain at all whatsoever, Steve then began to stretch his arms and legs to get any leftover kinks and cramps that were still in his joints. "Now that we've told you our names, I believe it's time you told us yours". Once he was done stretching, he looked at the women and said to them, "My name's Steve Trevor, United States Army, and Air Force".

Once he had finished his introduction, Hippolyta then said to everyone in the room, "Now that the introductions have been taken care of, there are some matters that we must discuss". Looking at the other women, Hippolyta nodded for them to leave the room. To which they complied, even though Artemis looked more than hesitant to leave her queen in the company of a complete stranger that she had no idea of who he was or why he was on their home island to begin with. As soon as they left, Hippolyta then turned to Steve and asked him, "Care to join me for a walk"? Seeing that he had nothing else better to do, and that it would be very rude of him to turn down a request from a royal. Steve nodded and followed as they both exited the halls of healing. As they walked, Steve couldn't help but marvel at the beauty and tranquility of the building that they passed by as they continued their walk. "I take it that you have many questions about who we are and what this place is". Hippolyta asked Steve. To which he nodded as he replied to her, "That I do, ma'am. I've been to a lot of beautiful places in my time in the army, but never have I been to a place as beautiful as Themyscira. Let alone being in the presence of women who are just absolutely stunningly beautiful to be near at all". The moment he said those words, he really wished he hadn't. Just before he could apologize to the queen for his statement on their beauty, a sound as beautiful as songbirds came out of Hippolytas lips as she laughed at Steves's statement on her and her people's beauty.

"There is nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about. We, Amazons, always get compliments about our beauty from newcomers". Seeing that she held no grudges made Steve relax somewhat as they continued to walk through what he assumed to be a city of some kind. All the while, he couldn't help but glance at the beautiful women they passed on as they walked. As they continued, Steve remembered something the queen had said and asked her his question. "Your majesty, I heard you say your people were the Amazons. I've been meaning to ask who are you people exactly, and why haven't I seen any other man around here at all"? Knowing that this would be the first question that would come to mind for him, Hippolyta stopped walking, turned to him, and said, "If you want to know the answer to your question, then it is best that I show you our history". She then proceeded to go to the right of their direction, where they came to the front of what looked like a library-like building of some kind. "Here is where we have our historical records, as well as the answers you wish to know about". As they entered the building, Steve couldn't help but marvel at the beauty and size of the historical records. As well as how brilliantly designed the architecture was in the building itself.

As they walked through the historical records, they then came up to a fairly tanned-skinned Amazon scholar. She had the exact same clothing as Alexa had. Only she was a bit older than Alexa was. Once they stopped in front of her, Hippolyta then asked her, "Ophelatine, would you kindly retrieve the Scroll of the beginning for our guest, please"? Ophelatine nodded and quickly went on her way to retrieve the Scroll of the beginning. After what seemed like two hours of waiting, Bellallia had finally returned and handed the Scroll to the queen. Hippolyta nodded in thanks, placed the Scroll on a long rectangular table, and unraveled it. Once unraveled, Steves's eyes went up in amazement at the art design of the pictures and characters depicted on the Scroll. "You see, Steve Trevor, Long ago, when the world, as well as time itself was still a new, the Gods of Olympus ruled the Earth". As she told the story, Steve could have sworn that he saw the pictures moving on their own. Like how you would watch characters in a movie movie. "As they ruled other the land, Zeus, king of the gods, created beings born in his image and spread them all over the world. Beings that he and the other gods could rule over and teach them to be fair, good, strong, and passionate. He called his creation man, and from that point on, mankind was good, peaceful, and courageous and built many great and powerful cities to live in".

As he listened, he could tell there would be a catch in this tale of mankind's beginning with the Greek Gods. "I take it that this peace between mankind and the Greek Gods didn't last long". Steve asked the queen. Hippolyta nodded in agreement as she said to him, "You are correct in that regard, Steve Trevor. For you see, Zeus's son, Ares, the God of War, became envious of mankind and sought to corrupt his father's creation". Hearing her say this made Steve shiver at those words, thinking about how someone could easily corrupt a person's mind and control them like some mad puppet master. "Poisoning the hearts of man with jealousy and suspicion, he turned his father's once great creations against one another, and war, pain, and suffering ravaged the Earth. As he continued to listen, he suddenly heard a sound of hope in her voice as she continued to tell the tale. "In order to stop the constant bloodshed and pointless battles of mankind, Hera, along with the other Goddesses, created beings of light and beauty, the Amazons". At hearing her say this, Steve couldn't help but look up at some of the Amazon scholars passing by, wondering just how the Greek goddesses were able to create powerful women of such beauty in the first place.

"Once we were brought into the world of man, our influence changed the hearts of man. With love and kindness, we were able to restore peace to the world, and for 50 years, there was a brief moment of peace for everyone". Hippolyta sighed sadly as she came to the part of this tale that she really wished had never happened in the first place. "But like all great things, the peace did not last forever. For you see, Ares had grown tired of the peace and had once again corrupted and put us into slavery". Hippolyta stopped for a moment as the memories of pain and suffering came flooding back to her like an ocean wave, as she started to cry softly and tried to push past them as best as she could. Steve, on the other hand, was shocked at what he had just heard and felt nothing but pity and respect for the queen and the Amazons. They had gone through so much and had been treated like garbage in the hands of a demonic god and lesser men. In his opinion, those men could rot or burn in whatever afterlife they were in. Once she had calmed down enough, Hippolyta continued. "I led the revolt against Ares and his armies of evil, and with the help of Zeus and the Gods, we were able to free ourselves from enslavement and defeat Ares and his armies once and for all".

A smile of pride had reached Hippolyta's as she thought of that day. The day that she and her people finally won their freedom and their independence, as well as gained a future of peace and blissfulness. But as fast as it came, Hippolytas face turned into a frown sadness as she finished the tale. "But, even though the war had been won, it was not without its costs. The Gods and goddesses of Olympus had unfortunately used up all of their power during the battle with Ares, and in doing so, caused them to weaken their life force to the point of death". Hippolyta stopped at that point for a moment or two before she continued on, as she tried not to remember seeing the bloody mess of Zeus's body as well as the other gods and goddesses bodies. "With their final breath, they created our home island, allowing us to not only live in peace and harmony from the outside world but also allow us to take in any weary traveler that has come to our shores in need of aid or a place to live in". Hippolyta looked up at Steve and said to him "And since that day, all has been quiet ever since then". When she had finally finished the tale of the Amazon's origins, the only thing that Steve could do at that moment was take two steps back before he sat on a chair, trying to digest everything that he had just heard.

As he processed the information, from hearing of their creation to their fight with Ares, he then started to wonder what other types of myths and legends were also real and what kind of impact they would have if anyone were to discover them. At that thought, a chill was sent down his spine. If the Nazis discovered this place, as well as the other myths and legends that were real, it would turn the tide of the war over to the Nazis, and they would have the capability, along with their other secret weapons, to decimate every city across the globe. After a minute or two of waiting, Steve got up and said to the Hippolyta, "Your majesty, you have my deepest sympathy and respect for what you and your people have gone through. If I had my way, I'd have the government I work for start to recruit all of your people onto their side and ditch their old ways of thinking that men are better fighters than women are because I can tell you right now I'd take a thousand of your best fighters over a hundred regular army trooper any day of the week". Hippolyta smiled at hearing him say this. Seeing just how far mankind had come in change and growth. As well as learning that women were meant to be seen as people too, and not some objects to be dragged around like a rag doll or controlled like a puppet.

Now, seeing that she had answered his questions, Hippolyta decided that it was time for Steve to answer her questions. "Now that I have answered your questions, Steve Trevor, it is time for you to answer my questions". Seeing what she meant, Steve said to her, "You want to know how I ended up coming to Themyscira in the first place". The queen nodded as he continued. "Your majesty, what you have to understand is that I was sent on a highly classified mission that no one but my superiors can know about, but seeing as how I'm stuck here for now, I will tell you what my mission was about. But if I tell you, you have to promise me not to tell anyone except your most trusted commanders. Can you promise me that this information will not be revealed to anyone else outside of your circle of trust"? There was a moment of silence from the queen, who contemplated on how she would keep this promise until an idea came to her. Reaching from behind her waist, Hippolyta produced what looked like a golden cowboy rope of some kind. She then proceeded to wrap it around her wrist as she did with Steves. Once she was done, she then said to Steve, "This is the lasso of truth, created by the goddess Hestia. It not only compels people to tell the truth but also makes sure that we will not break our promises to those to whom we have made said promises to".

"So I, Queen Hippolyta of Themyscira, leader of the Amazons, make this promise on the river styxx that the information that you tell me today, stays with me and any of my trusted subordinates". Once she finished making the promise, the lasso of truth glowed so bright that Steve had to cover his eyes to shield off the brightness. Once the light died down, Steve uncovered his eyes. Hippolyta then untied their wrists as she said to him, "Now that the promise has been made, will you kindly tell me what your mission was about"? Nodding, Steve began to tell her of his mission and how he ended up on their shores to begin with. "My mission was a simple reconnaissance, observe and report back to command. Intelligence had gotten word that one of the Nazi generals would be visiting a secret military installation somewhere on the outskirts of Switzerland. I posed as one of their scientists and was able to get in". As Hippolyta listened to his tale, she started to grow more anxious and fearful at what she was about to hear at the end of his mission. "According to intel from command, the Nazis had been making a new type of bomb that could ultimately destroy our country as well as our allies". Steve stopped for a moment as he shuddered the memories of what he saw before he continued.

"But our intel was wrong, very wrong. The Nazis weren't just building bombs, but they were also putting soldiers and civilians, men, women, children, as well as their own men were put through what I could only describe as excruciatingly painful experiments. The experiments were part of a project called toppled domino. They were turning these people into supersoldiers, but it came at a terrible price because the serum that they used on them made them completely mindless". Hearing him say this, made Hippolyta gasp in shock as she covered her mouth. The thought of people, especially children, being turned into monstrous weapons of great destruction as well as being used as tools for somebody's war was not only sickening to her but also horrifying as well. "In charge of this project was one of the Nazi psychopath doctors, Dr. Isabel Maru. Or as the boys in the trenches called her, Dr. Poison". Steve shuddered at the sound of the mad doctresses name; even right now, the mention of that name still scared him, even though she was thankfully far away. Once he got his fear under control, Steve continued on. "She got that name for good reason because if she didn't get what she wanted, then she would literally kill with whatever poison or venom that she had on her in hand with her".

Hippolyta's eyes went wide after hearing him say this about the doctresses. From the way Steve talked about her made Hippolyta feel like Sirsi, the witch, had been brought back from the dead and had begun to cause havoc again in the mortal world once more. "From what I could tell, if Dr. Maru were able to complete the project, the Nazis would get the upper hand and win the war as well as cause the death of millions, but I knew I had to do something. So I took Dr. Poison's plans and notes, freed as many people as I could, as well as grabbed some nearby explosives, set them off, and got out of the factory as quickly as I could and destroyed it. I got onto one of their planes but unfortunately was shot down by one of their ace pilots, but thankfully was still able to fly the hunk of junk all the way out here, and well, you already know what happened from there, your majesty". Once he had finished his story, Hippolyta looked at him with nothing but sadness and respect for him. She could tell that Steve wished that he had done more for the people who had been tortured into becoming monsters. She'd only wished that she could do something to comfort him as well as help him heal from the horror that he had just seen.

Doing the only thing that she could think of at that moment, Hippolyta came over to Steve and gave him a comforting. The action at first took Steve aback, but eventually relaxed as he gave into the hug. When she released him, she said to him, "You have my deepest sympathies and condolences for what you saw and went through, Steve Trevor. I pray to the Olympians that the people you saw who were being turned into monsters find forever peace in the afterlife". Nodding in agreement, Steve smiled sadly at this as he hoped that the people who had been experimented on had a quick end when the factory exploded. "Now that you know what my mission was about, your majesty, you must know that I need to find a way back to America, the place that my military is from, so that I can give them a full debrief of what I have seen and observed". Hippolyta nodded in agreement as she said to him "I understand your urgency to complete your mission Steve Trevor, and we will gladly return you to your homeland so that you can win this great war. However, there is something you should know about our island". Steve raised an eyebrow at this, wondering what the important matter was that the queen wanted to discuss.

"As you already know, the Olympian gods created Themyscira for the Amazons to live in peace, protection, and harmony with each other. However, what you did not know is that time works differently here than it does in the outside world". Steve looked at her questioningly as he asked, "In what way"? She shrugged as she said to him, "Seconds could pass by for the outside world, whereas days, weeks, and years could pass by for Themyscira and us, the Amazons". Upon hearing this, a lightbulb suddenly went off within Steve's brain. "So what you're saying is that I can stay here for as long as I want and return back to the war as if no time had passed at all". The queen nodded in confirmation as Steve pondered on this for a minute or two as he decided on what he should do. On one hand, he could take a break from the war and live the life that every guy dreams about. On the other hand, he needed to complete his mission and report back to command about his findings. After five minutes had passed, Steve looked at the queen as he came to a decision. "Your majesty". Steve began. "As a soldier, my duty is to the United States Army, as well as making sure that my mission is a success. However, after what you have told me about your home and how time works here on your island, I will gladly stay with you and your people for the time being".

Hippolyta smiled happily at this. She was glad that the man in front of her would take a break from the fighting and hardships of war and learn the peaceful ways of her people. Suddenly, they both heard Steve's stomach growl loudly. So loud that it caused some of the nearby Amazon scholar to look up from their work in their direction as if a dragon had just stormed into the archives. The queen looked at Steve with a smile as she giggled. "It would seem that someone has worked up quite a hunger. Steve smiled as he said to her, "It would seem so, your majesty". Nodding in agreement, Hippolyta said to him, "I will escort you to the guest house as well as have my subjects provide you with clean clothing as well as a plater of food delivered to you sometime this evening". Steve nodded in thanks as he followed her to the guest house.

A few hours later:

Steve sighed in contentment as he lay in the soft blankets and bedding. "I certainly missed this". He thought to himself. Sure, he was glad that the military provided beds for soldiers like him to sleep on, but they really weren't made for sleeping in.

These beds, however, were like big fluffy marshmallows that you could lie in and let swallow you whole. As he lay there, he suddenly heard a knock at the guest room door. "Come in". Diana said. After a few seconds of waiting, Diana and a young Amazon that he had never seen before entered the room with what looked like a great platter of food and a jug of some kind of liquid. The platter of food was in an arrangement of sorts. From t-bone steaks to turkey legs, the plate was loaded up with the finest meats to what looked like the tastiest desserts and pastries. "Mother didn't know what you would want, so she had the chief make an assortment of things for you to enjoy. If that is alright with you"? Steve nodded and said to them, "That will do very nicely, thank you". Nodding, the two Amazons placed the platter of food and the Jug on the side table near his bed and left the room. As he dug into the meal, the two Amazons were conversing on an important matter. A matter of Diana's future. "Tell me, Lyla, what exactly did you see in that vision you had earlier. Before Steve's arrival". The Amazon, now known as Lyla, just smirked as she said to her sister, "As the seer of the Amazons, I can only advise others on what choice to make in certain decisions. I can't, however, give away information on what will happen in future events".

"But what I can tell you is that he and you have a connection with each other in more than one way". Lyla giggled at this while Diana just rolled her. She always hated it when her sight sister gave a vague answer on what the vision she had was about. But hearing her say that made her wonder just what that connection was.

Regular time 6 seconds

Amazon time Day 6

It had been six days since he had arrived on Themyscira and already Steve was getting starting to get stir crazy. Sure, he was glad that the Amazons were being friendly with him, and he could also keep himself entertained by doing pushups and situps, but staying in this room for a very long time wasn't something he was keen on doing. Deciding to do at least something, Steve got up from his chair and went on a walk through the city of Themyscira. As he toured through the city, he could not help but continue to marvel at the beauty of the buildings and gardens. "These Amazons sure know how to make something beautiful". Steve thought as he continued through the city. While he was walking, he suddenly heard the sound of metal on metal coming from the right side of him.

Turning, he walked right into what appeared to be some training obstacle course. As he looked at the obstacles, he watched as the Amazons maneuvered through them with elegant finesse. But what really got his attention was that some of the Amazons were working out braless and even pantieless. Sometimes, he would see them without any clothes at all. Apparently, the Amazons had no shame in working out in the nude. "Seems like these people have no shame of showing themselves off whatsoever". As he continued to watch, he noticed that Diana and her sister Donna, who were thankfully wearing clothes at the time, were sparing with each other via swords. He couldn't help but marvel at the movement and technique of how Diana spared with her sister. "I see that our training routine has caught your eye". Said a firm voice from behind him. Turning around, Steve came face to face with the Amazon general Artemis. At first, Steve didn't know what to say. She still had that stern look on her face ever since he arrived on Themyscira. He even thought that the redhead had made it her personal mission not only to hate him but also to cause him to feel intimidated by her presence every chance that she got, which she was succeeding at wonderfully at this point. After getting over his brief moment of jumpiness, he said to her, "I have, and I gotta say, you ladies take fighting to the next extreme".

For the first time since he met her, Artemis actually smiled at this and nodded in agreement. This action really surprised him because he had never seen her smile or form a grin when he was around. "Yes, we take our training very seriously. We Amazon warriors have always trained our selves since our birth. Pushing ourselves and our bodies to the limit, we prepare ourselves both physically and mentally for any attack that may come to our home island. This also means that we must also train without our armor or our clothes in case of a surprise attack". "Well, at least that answers my question on why they're training in the nude". Steve thought to himself. As they turned back to watch the Amazon warriors train, Artemis finally said the one thing that Steve never thought he would hear from her. "I'm sorry, Steve Trevor". Steve turned his head to her as he asked her "What"? Artemis rolled her eyes in annoyance. She hated having to repeat herself to anyone in general, especially when it came to some men that she had met in the past. "I mean that I am sorry for treating you so harshly these past few days, Steve Trevor". Steve raised an eyebrow at her, wondering where she was going with this, and Artemis could tell that he was confused, so she continued. "The memories of what Ares and his monsters did to me and my sisters have been embedded in our minds for a very long time. Taking my anger out on you because of your gender and our history with men was not right, so I do apologize for my attitude and emotions towards you".

After hearing her explanation, Steve understood why she was always giving him dirty looks. She and the rest of her people had been treated like garbage by men who were, in his opinion, lesser beings who didn't deserve to have existed at all. Putting a comforting hand on her shoulder, Steve smiled as he said to her, "It's alright, Artemis. I don't blame you for being angry for what you and your went through, and I get why you were taking your anger out on me. But the next time, try to get to know the first before you start firing daggers at him, ok"? Artemis smiled and nodded in agreement as she said to him "I shall give it a try, but I can not make any promises on showing him his place if said future male tries to make a move on me or any of my sisters". Steve smiled at that as he said to her "On that, I can definitely agree with you there". As they turned their attention back to the Amazons and their training on the obstacle course, Artemis then had the spark of an idea. Turning to him, Artemis asked him "Steve Trevor, have you ever used a sword before"? Not really sure where she was going with this, but he knew that she had an idea sprouting in her head. Steve nodded as he said to her, "I took three years of fencing back in high school". Nodding, Artemis then asked him, "How would you like to be part of our sword training for the day"?

After hearing her say this, Steve raised his eyebrow in surprise as he asked her, "Why do you want me to train with you, women? And not that I don't appreciate the offer to train with you women, but why ask me to join in your training session"? "Because you say that you are a soldier and have fought in many battles. Well, I would like to see you put your abilities to the test and show us just how well of a skilled warrior you really". Artemis clarified to him. Now understanding why she asked him about his skills with a sword, Steve was a bit taken aback by this. Sure, he was glad that he was finally starting to become friends with the red-headed Amazon, but he didn't know that she wanted to know just how good he was in a fight. After a few moments of thinking, Steve made his decision. "Sure, I'll join in your training group and show you how I fight". Artemis smiled at this as she turned around and faced where Diana and Donna were and called out to the oldest sibling. "DIANA, COULD YOU COME OVER HERE FOR A MOMENT"? The Raven-haired Amazon stopped her sword training with Donna and came over to their position. Once she arrived where they were standing, Artemis said to her, "Diana, Steve Trevor has agreed to be your sparing partner for the time being, if that is alright with you, princess"? Diana looked at Steve for a moment before she said to Artemis, "It will do just fine, Artemis".

Nodding, Artemis gestured to one of the empty training arenas and said to both of them "You can train over there. Also, be sure to pick out a training sword or some other training weapon, Steve Trevor. You will need it." Nodding in confirmation, the both of them quickly walked over to the training arena as Steve looked at all the training weapons that were shown to be used at his disposal. As he examined each one of them, his eyes landed on a fairly built, medium-sized training sword. Picking it up, Steve examined it from all sides, as well as hefting it in his hand. He then proceeded to swing it back and forth to get a feel for it and to see if it would be right for him. After doing some personal tests on the blade and question, was he able to ascertain that it was a weapon that suited him just fine. As he rejoined back up with Diana, the two quickly got into their stances as they started to walk around each other in a circle. Both of them sizing each other up, trying to gauge how to beat one another. As they circled each other, Artemis stepped into the center of the circle and said to both of them, "Now, I want you both to train on only the offensive and defensive. There will be no punching, kicking, or needing in the gut. Do I make myself clear"? Both of them nodded as they readied themselves. "Ready, BEGIN"!

Before he had time to react, Steve was suddenly met with Diana's sword inches from his face. Thankfully, he was able to block it just in time with his own sword. More than that, though, he started to become amazed by the movement that Diana was showing her moves. After a moment or two of silence, Artemis came over to the two fighters, grabbed Steve's hand, lifted it up, and shouted out, "WINNER"! Hearing her say this made all the Amazons clap and cheer at Steve's victory. Once Artemis had let go of his hand, he faced Diana as she said to him, "I must, Steve Trevor, that was a fight I will never forget". Steve smiled as he asked her, "Care to go for another round, princess, Or are you too tired to fight me again"? Diana smirked at this as she said to him "If you really wish to take part in another dual Steve Trevor, then let us fight on". Steve smirked at this as the two got back to their positions. Again and again did their swords clash, and each time they did, Diana couldn't help but feel a connection with the man before her that she hadn't felt in all of her life.

As they fought, sometimes Diana would win by using her great strength, and other times Steve would win against her by using his ideas and military training. They fought throughout the entire until the sun went down, and they decided to call it quits. As they put down the swords and left the training arena, Diana said to Steve, "Thank you for the training lessons that you gave me today, Steve; I look forward to using them in the future". Steve smiled at this as he said to her, "No problem, Princess. I was happy to help in any way I could". As they continued to walk, Diana thought of something. "Steve". He turned to her before he headed back to the guest house. "Would you care to go horse riding with me tomorrow"? Steve looked at her with pleasant surprise on his face as he had never expected her to ask him out. But he smiled at this as he said to her, "Sure, we can do that tomorrow. Does noon sound good to you"? She nodded at this as he said to her, "OK, noon it is. See you tomorrow, princess". She waved a final goodbye to him before they went their separate ways. Riding a horse was one of the best things that Diana had learned from her mother. It made you feel like you could be free to go anywhere you wanted in the entire world. As she rode, she closed her eyes as she felt the wind blow through her hair. Once she reached the top of the mountain that she was heading up to, she pulled on the rains. Making her horse stop as she took in the view of the landscape. As well as the city below. As she stayed there for a moment or two, she heard the sound of horse hooves and smiled as she knew who it was. "You know, when you asked me out on a date, I never thought you'd pick a place like this to have it". Diana smiled even more at Steve's compliment as he approached her on his horse. Once he had arrived, his eyes widened in amazement at the view in front of him. "Wow". Steve couldn't help but comment to himself as he continued to stare at how beautiful the stunning the city was from up here. "A wonderful and beautiful sight to look at, isn't it"? Steve nodded in agreement with her as he looked on in awe. As the two looked on, Diana said to Steve "Thanks for coming up here to meet with me, Steve". Steve smiled as he said to her, "No problem, princess. I'm glad that you appreciate our time together". As the two sat on their horses, Diana suddenly came up with an idea.

"Hey Steve". Diana said to him. "Ever been in a horse race before"? Seeing where she was going with this, he said to her "I've seen them, but never been to them personally". Nodding, she said to him, "Then how would you like it if I challenged you to a race then. From here all the way down to the palace?". Thinking about this for a moment, Steve pondered on this for a minute or two before he asked her "What are the terms and conditions for who wins and loses"? Diana smirked as she said to him "The winner gets to have breakfast in bed, and the loser gets to clean up the horse's stables". "YOU'RE ON"! Steve shouted as he kicked his horse into high gear and galloped away with Diana not far behind him. As the two raced, they had to make sure that they didn't hit any tree branches or passing Amazons (who thankfully moved out of the way) as they raced. As Diana gained speed, Steve looked back at her and was pleasantly surprised at how close she was to him. "She must be really good at riding a horse to be this fast". Steve thought to himself. Unfortunately, he wasn't paying attention to an incoming apple tree. When he turned around, he had a split second to think before the branch hit him in the square on the noggin. This action caused him to catch an apple in his mouth as well as scrunch his eyes in pain from the hit.

Seeing this happen caused Diana to burst into peals of laughter. Once Steve was able to shrug off the pain, he spat out the apple and quickly refocused his attention on the race itself. He then realized just how far Diana was and quickly nudged his horse forward. As the two made it to the halfway point, Steve realized that the road had split. Deciding to take the route on the right, Steve quickly sped off to the right trail, hoping that it would be a shortcut. Seeing this happen, Diana smiled victoriously as she sped off on her horse, believing that she finally had the upper hand in this race. Meanwhile, Steve, who was still taking his supposed shortcut, was dodging tree branches and having his horse jump over boulders every step of the way. All the while turning left and right on the very uneven trail. As he made another turn on this trail that he supposed would never end, Steve finally saw the palace just down the hill ahead of him. Thinking that he was going to win this race, Steve nudged his horse forward. As the horse gained speed, the palace entrance drew closer. And just as he thought that to win and cross the finish line, a blur of black hair zipped past him. It took him only a moment to realize that Diana had won the race. As he crossed the finish line, Steve sat on his horse and stared at her with thunderstruck eyes as he felt butterflies within him go off like fire works. It was then that he realized what he had been feeling at that moment. He was in love with her.

Once they both entered the stables and dismounted their horses, Steve walked over and said to her "You knew that you could beat me fair and square from the start, didn't you"? Turning around, he then said "Come in". Once, he said that the person who entered, much to his surprise, was Diana. It may have seemed like the colors didn't clash well with each other, but they did. Steve smiled apologetically as he said to her, "Sorry about that; I didn't want to interrupt the meeting that you were having". Hippolyta nodded in understanding. She still couldn't believe that this man before her had a heart of gold and was still fighting in a war that he should never been a part of.

Getting back to the matter at hand, Hippolyta then asked what exactly Steve wanted to ask of her. "What can I do for you today, Steve Trevor"? The queen asked him as they walked through the garden grounds. "It's about your daughter". Steve paused as he looked at her, while she gave him a questioning eyebrow which meant for him to continue. Smiling the both of them headed over to the great treasury of Themyscira as Hippolyta helped prepare Steve for the proposal.

The feast of Zeus was nothing like Steve had ever experienced before in his life. It made Renaissance fairs look small in comparison. She was wearing a red, gold, and blue long flowing dress with silver star like diamonds on the end of it. To him, Diana was a splitting image of an angel. "But we should not let their sacrifice remind us of what or who we lost but remind us to live on for them and the memories we made with them". The Amazons nodded in agreement as Hippolyta continued. "This Feast of Zeus is one of great happiness because of the man we have here has an announcement to make". Seeing that was his cue, Steve got up and walked over to where Diana was sitting. Once there, he got on his knees, much to her surprise, and said to her, "Diana, ever since my arrival here on Themyscira, you and your people have shown me great kindness, and well, I can't imagine not meeting anyone at all in my life". As he talked, he pulled out a small wooden box from his pocket. While some of the Amazons wondered what he was even talking about, most of them (besides the queen herself) knew what was going on and tried their best to keep in their excitement. "But besides meeting your family and people, Diana, I can't of my life without you. You are a star that brings light to me every day, a diamond to cherish in every memory".

As he continued, he prepared to open the box. "Diana, you and your family have been so kind and giving to me that I'm glad to have been a part of your family, and I'm gladder still to have a girlfriend like you in my life, so I wish to ask you this question.". As he opened the box, Diana's eyes went wide with great surprise at what she saw. In the small little box was a vine-twisted ring with a blue sapphire-colored ring at the center of it. Seeing this brought tears to Diana's eyes as she heard the next set of words that made her tear up even more. "Diana, princess of Themyscira, will you marry me"? There was a moment of silence until, finally, she answered his question. "Yes". she whispered before she said to him loud enough for everyone to hear, "Yes, yes, I will marry you"! After she said those words a roar of applause as well as cheers of congratulations erupted from all the Amazons in the room. Even Artemis, the most hardened warrior of the Amazons, started to have watery eyes. As the crowd continued to cheer and shout for the engagement of the new couple, Hippolyta raised her hand for silence once again. As everyone calmed down, Hippolyta then said to the audience, "The wedding of my daughter and Steve Trevor will take place in two week's time. Until then, we shall make preparations for our new couple as well as show the groom the rules and regulations of marrying an Amazon warrior properly".

As the Amazons continued to mingle with each other in excitement, Donna, Diana's little sister, came over to the newly engaged couple. She said to Diana, "Congratulations, sister, I'm so happy and proud of you and your engagement. You and Steve were perfect for each other the moment he came onto our island". Diana smiled and nodded in agreement as she daydreamed about how their wedding day would go. As she daydreamed, she felt a gentle hand placed on her hand, snapping her out of her daydream. "Be at ease, Steve Trevor, for today is a very special day for you and my daughter. I have great faith that you and she will have a wonderful relationship as husband and wife". After hearing her say this, Steve's anxiety went down dramatically. After a few more minutes of waiting, the music began to play, and the noise in the audience began to die down.

As the music played, the maid of honor who was Donna, as well as the bridesmaids, came down the aisle. The priest then looked at Steve and asked him "And do you, Steve Trevor, take our princess to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live"? Steve, without any ounce of fear in his body, said the words that he knew to be true within his heart: "I do". As everyone happily enjoyed the party, Diana and Steve took a break from the dance, found an unoccupied seat, and took it. As they sat there, catching their breath, Steve said to Diana "I never knew you were that good at dancing". She shrugged and said to him "Mother taught me when I was ten years old. Helped me learn every single type of dance there is from all over the world". Steve raised his eyebrows in amazement at the fact that she knew all those dances from across the globe. Sometimes, his now-wife still amazed him at the fact of how much information she and her people knew.

As the new couple sat in each other's company, Diana then thought of something. Looking at her new husband, she then asked him "Steve, do you think we could have some private time together? There's a very special place that I want to show you."? Steve knew exactly what she meant by private time. So he nodded as he followed her out of the wedding oikos. As the two lovers walked with each other for about three minutes, they then came up to a building that looked like some fashion designer made it. It had been painted multiple light colors such as pink, light purple, yellow, orange, red, velvet and gold. As well as spring green and sky blue. The building was also decorated with an assortment of flowers of all kinds flowers, from top to bottom. From roses to azaleas, daisies to orchids, the building was covered from head to foot in these beautiful plants. On the top front of the building, in Greek lettering, read the words LA MAISON D'AMOUR D'APHRODITE. Before Steve could ask her what those words meant, Diana had the answer already for him. "It's the love house of Aphrodite in French. The love language of the goddess of love, Aphrodite. We created it not only in her honor but also just in case some of us want to have some alone time with each other or just ourselves". As soon as they entered the building, Steve almost stopped breathing at the sight of what was right in front of them.

Before him were fountains of all kinds. Some big and some small. Some had stone statues of men and women dancing in each other's embrace, while the rest of them had animals that looked like they were walking around in a circle. A lot of them were pouring out water with different colors in them, while others made cool water projections. "Wow, unbelievable"! Steve commented to himself. As he looked on in awe, he saw in front of him what appeared to be a red blanket bed hanging over what appeared to be a small glowing pool. The bed was covered in what looked like golden petals. Steve and Diana looked at each other and knew right there and then what exactly they wanted to do. As the both of them quickly stripped their clothes off their bodies, they then flopped themselves onto the bed, which swung from right to left due to the force of their jumping on the bed. As they rolled around in the bed, kissing each other from head to shoulders, they suddenly stopped mid-roll and looked into each other's eyes with such passionate love that they both knew exactly what they wanted. {The vision dream had come to her again; she had seen so many of them before in the past, but never one like this. She was on a battlefield in a town that looked like so many catapult boulders had ravaged it. As she looked around, she saw the burning image of the being that all Amazons feared the most. As she stared at him in terror, she then heard a familiar battle cry from behind her. Turning around, she saw a group of people charging towards her. The two leading the charge were her sister, Diana, (who was heavily 9 months pregnant) and her husband and brother-in-law, Steve Trevor. Behind the two of them were people that she did not recognize. One was a giant of a man in red and blue clothing; another was a winged man in hawk armor carrying what appeared to be a mace of some kind. She also saw a man who was flying without the need for wings while wearing what looked like a red, yellow, and blue costume with a red s on the front of his chest. She saw many other people, both man and woman, with different types of powers, like speed, strength, high pitch screaming, as well as some form of green energy. But what really got her attention was two creatures that looked beyond anything she had seen before in her visions or dreams. Both had the same clock-like symbols on their chests, but one creature was a blue reptile, while the other was a cat-like creature.}

{Before she could get a closer look at what she was seeing, the group collided with the flaming being. In a flash of light, everything went black. After a moment or two, laughter, sheer, spine-shivering, chalkboard grinding, ear-piercing, blood-curdling laughter. As the laughter died down the voice of the enemy spoke to her. "Tell your Amazon scum sister that I'm coming for them, and this time, there will be no Olympians to stop my return".} It was then that Lyla, Seer of the Amazons and counselor of Queen Hippolyta, jolted up from her bed in terror from the nightmare she had just had. As she slowly recovered from the aftershock of the nightmare, relization started to dawn on of what she had just witnessed. Realizing who she had just seen in her nightmare. "The Queen and council must know about this in the morning". Lyla thought as she tried to go back to sleep.

Regular time 1:21 seconds

Amazon time Day 81

To say that the entire Amazon council was an understatement. When Lyla had given Queen Hippolyta a short rundown of the dream vision she had last night, her mind switched from a pacifist to a warrior woman. Once she had assembled, everyone, including her daughter (who was just at the beginning of her pregnancy) and her husband, Lyla, told them everything that she had witnessed in her dream vision and who she had seen in it. After she had finished her tale, there was a deafening silence from everyone after what they heard from Lyla. After a minute or two, Artemis stood from her chair and asked her, "You're sure that it was Ares you saw in your dream vision"? Lyla nodded as she said to her "As sure as we walk on the ground of Gea herself, that I saw the return of Ares". As soon as she said this, the council broke out into murmurs of shock as they whispered amongst themselves on how this was even possible. How Ares, the god of war and the being who was responsible for all their pain and suffering, had returned after centuries of peace and prosperity. As the murmuring and whispering continued, Hippolyta herself rose from and raised her hand for silence.

Once the council quieted down, Hippolyta sat back down and spoke to them. "While the return of Ares is a great concern, there is also the fact that my daughter and her husband will lead a team of great heroes against Ares. And while I am glad she will lead them, I would also like someone to be there for her and her husband to make sure that my daughter has a safe delivery when the child is born". As much as Diana wanted to argue with her mother on the fact that she and Steve would be fine as they both knew that they could take care of themselves, she knew that her mother was right. Not only would they be fighting in an active war zone, but Amazon pregnancies are usually 12 to 13 months. She would need someone with medical expertise to help with the delivery. At first, no one in the council spoke until Artemis, Captain of the Amazons, rose from her seat and said to Hippolyta "I will go with the princess and prince". Everyone, including the queen herself, looked at the redhead captain in complete surprise before asking her "Are you sure you wish to travel with them, Artemis"? The captain looked down at the table for a moment before looking right back up to them with a grim determination. "Yes, I'm more sure than I've ever been in all my life. I'd rather go down fighting in the heed of battle than allow Ares to use us as slaves and servants again".

Hippolyta, Diana, Steve, and the rest of the council all smiled proudly at her. They knew she was always ready for a fight and the fact that she had been one of the Amazons who had suffered at the hands of the War god. When Artemis sat back down, Hippolyta then asked the council "All in favor of allowing Artemis to go with my daughter and her husband to end the war and stop Ares for good". Everyone in the council room raised their hands all at once. "And all those who oppose"? No hands were raised, as everyone agreed. Hippolyta nodded as she looked at the redhead captain and addressed her. "Artemis, captain of the Amazons, you will travel with my daughter and son-in-law, help them win this war, defeat Ares once and for all, and help deliver Diana's child when the time is right". Artemis nodded as she got up again and saluted the queen. As the council clapped in commendation for Artemis and her promotion, Hippolyta looked to a guard next to her and said "Prepare a boat for their departure". The guard nodded and complied with the order. Hours later, it was nighttime, and the about that had been prepared for the three warriors to leave for the outside world was beyond understatement. It was decked out with bows and crossbows, as well as an assortment of weapons of all kinds. The ship was fitted with the latest indestructible metal called Amazonian.

To top it all off, the ship had triple barrel cannons on not only the sides but also the front and back. The final touch of it all was that the front of the ship had a lion's head as a symbol to show enemies of all kinds who they were about to fight with. As the Amazon crew continued to load supplies for the journey, a group of Amazons led by Hippolyta, Donna, Alexa, Lyla, Diana, Steve, and Artemis arrived at the docks. As the four riders dismounted, Diana, Steve, and Artemis turned to face Hyppolyta; she came over to them and handed them three bags. As she did so, she handed the first one to her eldest daughter. "This was created by the gods Hephestus and Aphrodite. Before they died, they made it for you should the need arise, and it looks like the need arisen. Also, you don't need to worry about it getting tighter as the baby grows within you. It will stretch as the child grows bigger". Diana took one look in the bag and quickly started to form tears of happiness at the gift that her mother had given her. She then looked at her mother and said to her "Thank you, mother". Hippolyta nodded as she moved to Artemis and handed her bag to her. "This weapon once belonged to your predecessor, the goddess Artemis. Before she died, she told me personally to give this weapon to me so that I could give it to you when the time was right".

Artemis, like Diana, looked at the bag and started to tear up a bit, but unlike Diana, she was a soldier and stiffened as she held back her tears. She would not allow her emotions to get the better of her now. When Hippolyta finally moved to Steve, she gave him a smaller bag that looked like it could only carry a few objects all at once. Steve looked at her with a question in his eyes as Hippolyta elaborated on his question about what she was giving him. "What you are receiving in this bag are two containers full of a potion capable of giving you the abilities of Achilles; the two bottles are purple and blue. The purple bottle is for bathing, while the blue bottle is for drinking. I suggest that you use them when you go to sleep. That is the time that the potions will work, also take them both at the same time. It makes you invulnerable on both the inside and the outside". Nodding in understanding, Steve took the bag from her and thanked her. As the three warriors headed towards the boat, Donna ran up to her eldest sister and hugged her tighter than she ever thought possible. Diana was at first surprised by the action but quickly hugged her little sister back. As the two sisters released from each other, Donna asked Diana "Please tell me you, Steve, and Artemis will come home safely"? Diana looked at her little sister, unsure of how to answer her, as she said to her, "I don't know if we will come back alright, little sister, but I promise you that we will try to come back in one piece".

Donna nodded. She understood that people can't always keep their promises during wartime, but her sister and her husband, as well as Artemis, would be ok. After all, they were well-trained warriors. As the boat pushed off, everyone waved their hands as they bid them goodbye. As the boat was almost over, Hippolyta said a silent prayer to the heavens, hoping that the spirit of the gods would hear it and make sure that their journey would be safe to the outside world. As the boat disappeared, Hippolyta looked to Lyla and asked her "Do you think I made the right choice, sending them to fight in this war that has been caused by Ares again"? Lyla understood why she asked this of her as they both knew that her visions could be vague and not to mention dangerous. "I do not know, your majesty". She solemnly before a hopeful smile started to form on her lips. "But what I do know is that the vision I had is a hopeful one. So I do believe that you did make the right choice in sending them to fight in this war. Only time will tell, I guess". Hippolyta nodded in agreement as she knew that, somehow, her daughter and the others would be fine.

It had taken them at least a few days to get into U.S. waters, but thankfully, by a U.S. jet carrier. Once they had been pulled aboard, it took a lot of convincing on Steve's part to show them that was who he was as well as show that the women with him were his allies. After that, he was sent to his commanding officers and explained to them what had happened to him after his past mission. At first, his commanding officers found it a little hard to believe at first, but after witnessing Diana lifting an entire table all by herself they then started to believe what he said was true. After which, thanks to the recommendations of Steve and Diana, the military began to search for any signs of other meta-humans that had been sighted already. And thankfully, they did. But what the military also found out was that the leader of the Nazi army, Hitler, had been looking for ancient weapons of mass destruction. While this did alarm them, thankfully, the military had a plan set in motion. When they gave Steve and the two Amazons a run down of what they found out, Steve decided that it was time for the President to know about their plan. After the three warriors had arrived at the white house, Steve went inside a dark room carrying a movie tape and began to play it. As it played, imagines of the Nazis and what they were doing were shown. "Mr. President, we have to act now".

As he continued to explain what had been happening during the war, the footage showed just how far the Nazis had invaded. "They marched on Poland, and we did nothing. And they kept marching. They've taken control of most of Europe, Africa, Russia, and most of Asia. It's…". "An invasion". President Roosevelt finished as he continued to watch in sinking horror. "That's not all, Mr. President". Steve said as he continued on. "He's been searching for ancient artifacts since 1933, artifacts that in the Nazi's hands could help them win the war". President Roosevelt raised his eyebrow in concern at what Steve was implying. "You mean magical artifacts"? President Roosevelt asked him, to which Steve nodded sadly. "Merciful heaven, what a maniac"! Roosevelt said in horror. "Unless, of course… he's right". The film then shows the Nazis looking at what appears to be a scroll of where the Ark of the Covenant was. "I take it that's where your big idea comes in"? President Roosevelt asked him. Steve nodded as he switched the film player to where it started to show costumed heroes helping out people all across America. "Let me introduce you to the team". The first person that was shown in the film was a gangly young man wearing a black trench coat, blue jeans, and a green and silver watch-like device on his left wrist.

"This is Jack Tyson, or as he has come to call himself, Manifest. Ever since the alien sighting started up back in June, we've found out that he uses a device that he calls his alien timer that allows him to become all of these said aliens at will and uses them to help people all over the New England area". "You mean to tell that these aliens that we've been seeing on the newspapers are just forms that he uses"? Steve nodded as he continued to show the next set of pictures in the film of a man wearing a red, blue, and yellow costume with a red S on the front of his chest. "Since his first appearance in Metropolis, Clark Kent, also known as Superman, has been nothing but Metropolis's handyman. Helping out the people every way he can from rescuing cats in trees to stopping major crimes. He's been nothing more than an angel from heaven". He then continued with the next set of pictures on the film, which showed a man wearing a silver World War 1 helmet with wings on it while stopping a crime and running at super speeds in a red and yellow lightning bolt patterned costume. "Since attaining his powers of speed, Jay Garrick has been a full-time crime fighter, and he's willing to serve his country". The next image showed a man wearing a red-capped green outfit man who was flying and creating what appeared to be some green energy object.

"Alan Scott, otherwise known as The Green Lantern, has been helping out with our boys in the air and on the ground from America all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. He's capable of creating green energy constructs, as he calls them, with his ring of Starheart as it is called to him". The next images of the film show a burly size man who took a swig of liquid in what appeared to be a science beaker and lifted a train cart with ease. "Up next is Rex Tyler, otherwise known as Hourman. He's one of the best and brightest scientists America has to offer. Now, he's developed a chemical called Miraclo to enhance speed, strength, and everything an hour at a time, hence his name". Steve then proceeded to talk about the other heroes who would be a part of this group of super-powered beings. "What we have next is a curious case when it comes to superpowers or abilities. Mr. President, a man by the name of Charles McNider who had an unfortunate accident during his early career as a doctor, has taken a path in crime fighting after he lost his sight. But he soon discovered that he was able to see perfectly in the dark. He soon nicknamed himself Dr. Mid-Nite afterward. The film then shows a woman in a black corset-like top under a leather jacket. "This is Dinah Lance; calls herself Black Canary. A bit of a firebrand with sonic sound abilities that have gotten her shunned by her community".

The film then showed a man in a yellow tuxedo who was ordering what appeared to be a purple thunderbolt. "This well-respected man with the purple lighting rod goes by the name of Johnny Thunder. Clams he's the seventh son of a seventh son. What this means is that he controls the living lightning rod, which he calls Yz. He summons the entity via the magic word CEI-U". The next scenes in the film showed what appeared to be a gas-masked trench-coated man carrying what appeared to be a gas gun of some kind. "This mystery man in the mask is Wesley Bernard Dodds, code-named Sandman; he's a Jewish Chemist who has created a gun that shoots out a substance called silicoid. The substance gives him the ability to put his enemies to sleep and extract information so that he can arrest the criminals that he has been trying to find". "Who is man in the golden helmet"? President Roosevelt asked in mild curiosity as he watched the film of a man in a blue and gold caped costume wearing a golden spartan helmet while having the symbol of what appeared to be an Egyptian ankh. "That is one of the team's mystic experts, Kent Nelson, who goes by the name Doctor Fate. He uses his magic powers to see into different timelines, as he calls them, in order to figure out how to win a fight or the answer to the problem". "And who would the other expert be exactly"? President Roosevelt asked him.

The film finally showed the last member of the team, who appeared to be a man in golden bird-like armor with an actual bird wing and carrying what looked like a silver mace of some kind with a rope attached to the end of it. "That would be Carter Hall, also known as Hawk man., an ancient Egyptian in a modern-day Egyptian's body. Oh, and he's got wings". President Roosevelt looked at Steve incredulously as he asked him, "Ancient Egyptian, You can't be serious"? Steve nodded seriously as he continued with the introduction. "Claims this is his…fourth reincarnation". "He's one of ours"? President Roosevelt asked Steve. "Yes, sir". "I see, LIGHTS". As soon as Steve turned on the lights, President Roosevelt pondered on everything he had just learned before he asked Steve in a hopeful tone "And you are sure that they're enough to fight back the Nazis and magical artifacts"? Steve smiled and nodded in confirmation as he said to him, "I know they are, I know they are, Mr. President". President Roosevelt nodded until another question popped up in his head that made him worry about this superpowered team's ability to fight in the field. "But, who will lead this motley crew? I mean, surely you don't plan on sending them into the war without a leader for them to follow"? Steve's smile grew even wider as he said to him, "I think I've got someone in mind".

As soon as he said this, the door opened up, and in strode a heavily pregnant and heavily armored-up Wonder Woman. She put her hands on her hips, looked at the President, and asked him the question that everyone, even the President himself, had been dying to hear. "Well, what do you say, Mr. President? Are you ready to end this war"? The President looked at the two of them for a moment before a tired smile crept on his face as he said to them both "Well, if you think that this team will help win the war, then I'm all for it". The two warriors smiled at this as they both knew that hope was approaching on the horizon.
