Chapter 9 Relaxing, beginning of tragedy, a shadow organization
In space a ship is seen entering Aionios and landing on to the planet and an individual exists from the ship it is none other then Winter who now works for the government and is here to meet up with Jaune and his Group, once they meet each other there was silence until they finally spoke.
Jaune: Winter.
Winter: Mr. Arc… I see you are doing well.
Jaune: I'm doing alright along with trying to learn what the Corporations are doing.
Winter: I see. I assume you know about the Shinra company?
Jaune: I know from the others that they are a powerful corporation and are just as dangerous as Arqubus.
Winter: not just like Arqubus, the Shinra company also goes into Genetics and bioengineering in other words bio weapons. Whatever they are up to it isn't good be on guard.
Jaune: we will… and I'm sorry for what I did to your sister.
Winter: … I'm still hurting from her death Jaune… and it's not easy to move on from it, I know killing you won't bring her back.
Jaune: …
Winter: all we can do is try to make sure others don't go through the same thing she and her team went through.
Jaune nods to that as Winter goes to join up with them for the situation on Aionios, he then spots something moving in the bushes and he immediately calls out to the person.
Jaune: I know you're there… Sun.
Sun: how you know it's me?
Jaune: who else can would snake around other then you.
Sun: good point. Anyway I'm here for important business.
Jaune: important business?
Sun: it's about Blake…
Jaune raises an eye brow on what Sun said and about something is happening with Blake that he should know about.
The scene changes to RaD and Rhodes Island where Nikol along with Glimmer finally waking up from the big battle that happened a day ago.
Nikol: where I'm I?
Glimmer: owww what happened?
Nikol and Glimmer: !?
Nikol: an Agnus soldier!
Glimmer: Keves grunt!
Just as the two was about to fight against each other Kal'tsit stepped into the room made sure to stop them before they started fighting.
Kal'tsit: no fighting here in our base.
Nikol & Glimmer: but he's/she's the enemy!
Kal'tsit gives off a dangerous aura that immediately shuts them down before the two even think about doing anything dangerous.
Kal'tsit: no. fighting. Here. Understand.
Nikol & Glimmer: yes ma'am…
Then Primrose comes into the room to see what's happening with the two survivors.
Primrose: so how's our guests doing?
Doctor: if your asking why there trying to kill each other I'd say yes there fine and so is the rest of the people we saved. Who are also trying to kill each other as well.
Primrose: that's good.
Nikol: wait I have to know who won the battle?
Glimmer: isn't it obvious Agnus won that battle!
Doctor: actually…
Kal'tsit: neither of the kingdoms won that battle.
Nikol & Glimmer: what?
Primrose: it's true. Chattey show em.
Chattey then showed the two the battle that happened and they were shocked by what they are seeing as five machines were tearing both forces apart even there Levnises were reduced to scrap metal by them, the two didn't say anything all they know is that both of there kingdoms were defeated.
Nikol: … how...
Glimmer: … what the heck…
Doctor: I can tell you two really don't like what has happened but…
Nikol: this… this should not be possible how can those machines be able to do that much damage…
Glimmer: this is a bad dream, a bad dream…
Doctor: so ummm what should we do with them?
Kal'tsit: our best option is to separate them until they cool off also… both of them will sooner or later learn that something strange is going on with this war and why it's happening.
The two remained silent and agree that these two will find out sooner or later.
(Final Fantasy Lightning returns - the wildlands)
The scene changes to Shinck and his group who had used the money they earned to upgrade there equipment and A.C soon a village is then spotted from a distance.
Church: guys we are close to a town.
Fatman: how about we go and relax we deserve some vacation time.
Shinck: I'll make sure to get some supplies you know so we won't ran out.
Church: alright then I'll land in a spot where the folks won't be suspicious of us or think we are a threat.
As the group goes to land Matthew is seen entering the village that is his home.
Matthew: ah its good to be home again after so long, I wonder how gramps and Na'el are doing? Better go check on them.
Matthew then started greeting old friends after a long trip around Aionios along with seeing some changes to the place the last time he was home, soon he saw his sister Na'el who was spending time with the kids until she saw Matthew and her face suddenly turned from being kind and loving to anger along with being upset with him for not coming home for a long time.
Na'el: Matthew…
Matthew: umm… look sis I can explain…
Na'el: Bloody hell you have a lot of explaining to do! You haven't been home in months when you left! I didn't even know when you were going to come back!
Matthew: I'm sorry, sorry I took so long to get back home.
Na'el hugs her brother deeply missing him since he hasn't comeback home in a long time then two heads to there home where there grandfather is waiting for them, unknown to them a suspicious group has already entered their city not knowing there lives will be changed forever.
Soon the two arrived at there house and went inside to see there grandfather who is skilled at martial arts and is the best in all of Aionios his name is Ghondor.

Ghondor: I see you have returned home Matthew.
Matthew: yeah umm sorry I took so long gramps.
Ghondor: it's alright as long as you are safe and came home safely that is all that matters to me.
Matthew: sorry for worrying ya, I'll make sure to be extra early to comeback home, by the way have you heard of the weird things that has been happening lately?
Ghondor: I have, strange unknown invaders who have appeared out of nowhere with technology of unknown origin and attacked both kingdoms army's.
Na'el: what the bloody heck they just attacked without a second thought?
Ghondor: it gets worse the news said those same forces attacked the two forces once again and… wiped them out leaving nothing but a graveyard of dead bodies…
Matthew & Na'el: !?
The two were completely shocked by what they had just heard the two kingdoms, Agnus and Keves had taken a big blow to them by an unknown enemies.
Ghondor: I'd advise you both to be extra careful from now on, I fear things will be getting worse sooner or later and that the city's might get involved in the coming conflicts.
Matthew: don't worry gramps we will be careful.
Na'el: … Another pointless conflict.
Ghondor: … you two should go now and get some fresh air to clear your minds.
The two siblings nods to that and goes outside to clear their minds along with processing the information of what is to come, once they were gone Ghondor was soon talking to himself for some reason.
Ghondor: I can't believe this is happening…
?: …
Ghondor: back then when I was a child we had peace until suddenly war broke out… my parents, home, everyone I loved died that day I don't want to lose Matthew and Na'el to this madness, I can't bear to see more of my family die…
?: …
Ghondor: there truly is no other way… fate is cruel mistress…
The scene changes and night came both Matthew and Na'el began talking about the situation with the war and how it's going to get more dangerous from now on.
Na'el: another war… when is this madness ever going to end?
Matthew: I know it is hard but we gotta stay positive and believe everything is going to be alright.
Na'el: alright? Alright!? Matthew there's been nothing but death destruction and people dying one after thee other in this world that has gone mad!
Matthew: Na'el…
Na'el: what happened to you wanting world peace Matthew!? When is peace ever going to come because right now I'm starting to lose my mind right now…
Matthew: it's okay Na'el… it's alright I'm sure peace will come soon.
Na'el: that's a big IF it comes…
Matthew: … how about I go get a snack for us to enjoy.
Na'el: alright…
Matthew: okay then I will be back in a minute.
As Matthew goes to get some snacks for him and Na'el the suspicious individual then calls his forces.
?: it's time. begin the operation.

Above in the sky air ships that don't belong to any of the factions began dropping MTs and to their target the same was happening on the ground as more heads there as well.
Many of them sky dive from the ships as they get closer and closer to the city Church immediately detected them and quickly tries to call both Fatman and Shinck about what's happening until the unknown A.C that is flying Keves colors prepares to shoots at one of the cities buildings.
Shinck: hmmm? What is it Church?
Church: you and Fatman need to get out of there right now!
Shinck: huh? What's going on?
Back with Na'el she can already sense that something terrible is going to happen already she looks up and sees the A.C as it shoots at one of the buildings.

The city then started being attacked by the unknown enemies that are using the colors of both kingdoms many civilians started running for there lives Shinck soon started avoiding much of the chaos that was happening around him he soon saw a child crying, he quickly saves the child from much of the destruction that is happening around the city Fatman is seen doing the same as well helping as many people as he can.
Matthew: what's going on why is the city being attacked!? Oh no Na'el and gramps!
Matthew immediately hurries to find his sister and hope she is okay along with there grandfather Shinck and Fatman continues to help some people get too safety, the two forces soon started fighting against each other or in this case make it look like they were fighting, Na'el who saved most of the survivors saw the fighting and deaths happening all around her, this caused Na'el to finally snap.
Na'el: those soulless monsters… thinking our lives are nothing but toys… I'll make you all pay!
In fit of pure rage, anger and hatred Na'el attacked both soldiers from the kingdoms and brutally killed them with no mercy but unknown to her someone was watching her from the shadows the same ones who gave thee order.
?: this could interesting…
Shinck is seen finally saved most of the people until church arrived with the carrier and dropped his A.C Shinck quickly boards Azure Zero and began a counter attack against the enemy forces pushing them back and limiting the damage as much as possible until something large was heading directly towards him he spots the target.
Shinck: what in the world? A giant mechanical black bird?

Shinck: Church what is that thing?
Church: don't know it must be some kind of new weapon but it doesn't look like it belongs to any of the other factions or the kingdoms take it down I'll extract it's data from its remains.
Shinck: understood. Engaging!
Shinck started fighting against the unknown machine that started firing lasers at him, Shinck dodges the attacks and strikes back by firing his weapons at the unknown machine, but soon enemy soon started attacking Shinck as well.
Shinck: what the!? First they were fighting each other now there attacking me? What is going on?
Church: doesn't matter take them out too, I was also able to get Fatman on board as well.
Fatman: he is right there's more going on here hurry and end this fight quickly.
Shinck agreed to that and continues to fight the enemy's destroying many until he turned his attention back to the unknown machine and started hammering it bullets and missiles damaging it more and more until it can no longer fight anymore Shinck finishes it with a pulse blade ending the fight against the unknown machine.
(End of music)
As battle was slowly ending Na'el is seen killing off the last of the soldiers her hands covered in blood until she saw smoke coming from the direction of her home she quickly heads there as fast as she could at the burning house Ghondor is seen confronting by two men who have badly injured him and is close to death.

Ghondor: so it is true you people were the ones orchestrating everything and for what?...
?: sorry old monk can't tell you. After all you know too much just like many others… like your family.
?2: don't take this personally we are just tying up loose Ends more specifically… you.
?: it's time you joined the rest of your family.
The unknown individual points his gun at Ghondor and then…
*BANG!*
Ghondor was shot through the heart and is on the verge of dying when Na'el arrived she already sees her home burning and on the ground was her grandfather along with two men far in the distance unable to think what has happened she blindly chases after the two in order to kill them but just as she entered the forest and was about to strike at them.
?: Mantis take care of this would you.
Then a man wearing a gas mask appeared in front of Na'el.
Mantis: sleep, little cat.
Na'el: guh!? You… monsters…
The person called Mantis does something to Na'el as she feels something forcing her to sleep and just as she is about to pass out Na'el sees an unknown person floating in the air which no one can see him but her the person holds a sign in his hands which said one word to her.
Survive.
Then Na'el was knocked out, captured by two soldiers and taken to there base back at the house Matthew would find his grandfather dead and his home burning to the ground.
Matthew: gramps, gramps! GRAMPS!
Rain soon started to fall on the city as tragedy has fallen on them and two individuals fates will be changed forever. Then everything fades to black.

That's another Chapter done. Nikol and Glimmer are saved by Rhodes Island, Jaune meets up with Winter and Sun talks about Blake, Matthew arrives home and meets his sister and grandfather, Shinck and Fatman takes a break, the city falls under attack Ghondor is killed by the unknown enemies Na'el is captured.

Now you should all know this is an Armored Core story so none of the enemy's of X3 will appear here this also means the power of Ouroboros will not appear either since this is an Armored Core story.
