First off Congratulations, I have decided to upload this trailer early! I loved y'all too much to wait I guess lol. As promised I made a playlist of all the songs for "You Fill My Heart" Click the link and enjoy :) Edit: It seems fanficton will not let me post a direct link to the playlist. Thank you for those who have brought that to my attention, I apologize for the setback. If you wish to hear the playlist go to a website called 8tracks, type lizrunion95-832 into the search bar, you should see a playlist entitled "You Fill My Heart Playlist" with a picture of Ricky and Amy lying in bed as the cover art. Please let me know if you continue to have a problem. :)
Second, I'm generally very professional in how I respond to negative, rude or disapproving comments. But since some of those comments are unable to be answered due to the "guest" signature at the top, I'm going to address some of those comments here and now in this Author's Note to clear the air. I will not call comments out, I will simply just put the comment up and respond accordingly.
Comment # 1 - "This writer and many of you seem to believe sex and Baby's make everything better. They don't. They make everything hard and complicated. Children are literally the most amazing, and disturbingly beautiful painful responsibilities on the planet. , and John's interpretation of a toddler and baby with Ricky was lie. He only ever acted like a baby around Ben, and Amy. He never cried fussed, or complained around anyone. No child is ever that good. I was disappointed by the ending because none of these kids learned I forget Brenda Hampton the creator of this show in an interview told everyone the show was a love story between BEN AND AMY, with the baby as just a bump in the road. She never had any intention of keeping Ricky and Amy together. But the Ramy fan base corrupted that love story"
Response - Let me just address that I NEVER said having a baby makes everything better. I NEVER said I was going to have everything be cupcakes and rainbows, did I? No I did not. I know baby's add a lot of stress on relationships and they don't make things better or easier or whatever else you want to say about them. I have friends who have had baby's intentionally to try to keep their guy and ended up losing him because the baby made their relationship strained. As far as John goes, I didn't write his character on the show so I can't offer an explanation to why John never acted like a baby around Ricky. I do know that the twins who worked as John hardly ever had a bad day on set especially around Daren because they loved him so much. So maybe that played a big factor in why John "never acted like a baby around Ricky"? Please do not bring that "Brenda Hampton told everyone it was always Ben & Amy, BS on here, please. I know what BH said - I watched the show everyday for 5 years, ok? I know what she said. But did you know that BH also said that although she wrote it between Ben and Amy that she always thought Ricky and Amy would be exciting to explore? So don't call the Ramy fanase bias or say we "corrupted that love story", because we didn't. Last I checked Ben ruined his own relationship by SLEEPING WITH ADRIAN and bonus? Ricky and Amy weren't even together yet! Ben was the one who corrupted that love story" not us Ramy fans. K?
Comment #2 - "Why do you Ramy fans continue to use Mercy as a plot device in your storys to make Adrian seem so heroic to helping Ricky and Amy. You over look Ben like Mercy never had a father. Why would Adrian want to help them when they did nothing to help her or Ben at all."
Response - I can only speak for myself when I say I did not ever think of "using Mercy as a plot device" for my story. Never once did it cross my mind to use the death of a child that way. I loved Mercy just as much as any other SL fan out there and was devastated when she died on the show. I'm not just a Ramy fan either. I shipped Ben & Adrian just as much and would never even think for a second of using their child to boost anything. Adrian wasn't the nicest person and I wrote her the way I did in my story because it's what I thought of her as I spent the last 5 years of my life watching her. I never intended for Adrian to even have a "heroic" moment in my story whatsoever, but things changed, I got to thinking about ideas and the words just started to be typed until it was finished. I wanted Adrian to have a good moment because she wasn't such a bad person all the time; she had very good and well mentioned moments where she was a great person - and I wanted to be able to write one we never would have gotten to see. Sometimes it doesn't matter whether or not Ricky and Amy did anything to help Adrian or Ben; they tried in the beginning if you remember to help them by being there but they pushed them away. Excuse me for always believing that things could change in the time of need… that's what I did. It was never my intention to have Adrian come to Amy's room, but as things would happen in the story it just appeared; it felt right; it felt just; and it felt heart wrenching but it had to be done. My apologies that you never saw it that way, but I will not apologize for doing what I thought was right in my story.
Comment #3 - "Tbh I don't wanna see these characters suffer anymore. Either write a new story completely or create a much less dramatic sequel PLEASEEEE I don't have the energy to see these characters be tortured anymore. Can you may be write a story where Amy doesn't get pregnant and instead she has a traumatic past and Ricky does too but in the story Amy is very quiet and reserved because of her past and Ricky is the same I guess you could say. And they meet and Ricky just tries to figure her out and it's like a love story. Pleaseeeee"
Response - I'm sorry for making you endure so much heartache but with a story like "You Fill My Heart" it had to be done. I could not write something so critical and not have a lot of emotion. I'm sorry but it had to be done. I respect your notion that I should write a new story, but I respectfully decline. Reason being is that I have no plans at this time to write anything other than the current series I'm writing. As much as I might enjoy reading a story like the one you've proposed, I have no time to write one like that. And quite frankly anything without John in it would feel weird and I don't like the thought of John not existing. Sorry.
I think all of that was fair, no? I kept true to my word and responded accordingly, did I not? I apologize to all those who have reviewed and commented through the years with positivity and great feedback that you had to read those comments above. I just felt that everything had to be cleared before we go on this new journey together. Now with that being said...
Welcome to the trailer! Can you believe you guys are about to get a sneak peek into the newest story? Well believe it, you are, and it's going to be great!
I never like to be the same as everyone else, so it only made sense to me to go outside of the box when creating this trailer. Now, I tested this out on a friend and she told me that the way the trailer is set up confused her. Let me tell you a secret - it confused me too when I constructed it. So I tweaked it a bit to make it easier and I'm giving a detailed key to what everything is so hopefully it won't be too confusing after that. And if by some chance it still is, it was inspired by an EJ & Sami fan vid so I'll link it at the bottom to give you all a pretty good visual on how it's set up.
The underlined words are what the text says across the screen (kind of like the title of the video)
The text that is in bold represents the lyrics of the song "This Love" by Taylor Swift (but the version I used was pitch shifted)
The bold and underlined together is transitions. (Ex - Overlay changes, scene flips, etc)
The italics… oh boy… the text in italics represents all old scenes of past "You Fill My Heart" scenes. These scenes are set in black and white to show that they are old - THESE ARE NOT NEW SCENES. I REPEAT NOT NEW.
Now the words in regular format are the dialogue of the new story TBOM&Y. These pieces of dialogue are played over the italic scenes because it's meant to show you how things will change. Notice how the pieces of dialogue have NO description or any hint to who says what; some things may have nothing to do with somebody and some do - it's like a critical thinking puzzle for your brain :P
The Book of Me & You

"You don't mean that!"
Scene flips
("But you come back to what you need")
Removing himself from the couch, Ricky drapes a blanket over Amy's sleeping body, kissing her temple.
"Is it too late for us?"
Scene flips
For all it's worth, is it worth it?
Everything goes dark before flashing red and blue lights fill the screen
"You son of a bitch!"
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you..."
Scene flips
("This love is good, this love is bad.
This love is alive back from the dead.")
Ricky points his finger in anger.
"I'm trying to protect you!"

"I don't need your protection! I need you to leave things alone!"
Scene flips

And this love came back to me.")

Coming soon!
What did you think? It's different isn't it? I know that seemed rough but remember not all things are what they appear to be, you have to be able to give leeway for a story to blossom. Happen to still be a bit confuzzled? If you are here is a link to a great video that inspired this trailer. Now it's NOT Ricky and Amy related, it's EJ DiMera and Sami Brady from Days Of Our Lives centered.
