Chapter 1: Welcome To Godparenthood Round 2!:
Periwinkle "Peri" Fairywinkle-Cosma sat listlessly on the couch of his crappy apartment which was all he could afford at the moment given the fact he lost his Godkid after only a few weeks. He started looking into other jobs when Jorgen appeared in his living room and said, "Peri, a new Godchild has been selected for you. However, there are few differences between her and Dev Dimmadome. For one she lives in a city that is Power Ranger territory so you will have to present yourself to the Ranger Council and state what your intentions are. As well as to the Crown Prince of the Mystic Realm. Who happenes to be your new Godchild's adoptive father. For two, given the ammount of supernatural creatures living in the city of Reefside you will have to register with the Department of Supernatural Affairs Reefside branch. This is so if nutjobs like those Guys In White I have heard about through meetings with the leaders of the Pixie and Anti-Fairy factions capture you at some point the Rangers can mount a rescue. But also keeps a clear census of what sort creatures live in the Ranger city." Peri accepted the file on his new Godkid. Her name was Demiyah and she had just turned ten. He saw she had psychological issues which is why she was being given a Fairy Godparent. She needed someone to be there for her in areas her parents just couldn't. Looking over her file he looked shocked. She had certainly been through a lot.
After Jorgen left Peri packed his stuff up in a few bags. He silently hoped that his new Godkid wouldn't do what Dev did. Even if he fixed it in the end. Peri thought losing his Fairy because of one mistake was stupid. Then again after his big brother, chances are they really cracked down on a lot of things. Besides, from what he read in the history books back at the Fairy Academy there were even worse Godkids than his Brother ever was! One of his parents previous Godkids started World War 1 and killed someone! Dev was probably gaslighted into doing what he did by his father!
Peri poofed to Reefside as he filled out all of the needed paperwork to live in the city before he headed to the Ranger Council building. He had accidentally appeared in the middle of a meeting clearly. His godkid was on the Council apparently. Which made him wonder, what was it she was hiding? Peri explained what he could mostly who he was, why he was there, and what that meant for Demiyah both short and long term. Tommy asked Demiyah, "So what do you think sweetheart?" Demiyah after a moment said, "Welcome to the family, Dad." The Council all giggling at Peri's confused look. Kimberly saying, "You'll pick up the various languages she slips into her speech as you go about the day to day. Just know it wasn't anything bad."
Peri in a human disguise watched as Tommy pointed out various places including a Haunted Mansion that Demiyah legally owned! She had apparently turned it into a boarding house for Monsters trying to make a living and go about their day to day existences. It was simple to say the least. He also saw her favorite places to hang out. Zoom Comics, Midnight's a local hang out for kids and teens, Milkman Mike's dairy and Ice Cream Shop, Shooting Star Bookstore, Hayley's Cyberspace, and Tokyo Dream Japanese Paraphenalia shop. He had to admit, she had some interesting tastes as far as free time. She was the definition of 'Tom boy' but she wore a LOT of pink so it was easy to mistake her for a girly girl. She had several friends who were older than her. Had powers she had to be very careful with. Was also a known target for kidnapping. Usually for vain reasons too. Money, bragging rights, the usual. She did have completed Soulbonds. Four of them to be precise out of eight Soulmates. There had been a string of incidents since she was seven that warrented a special case file to be presented to the bureau that handled everything to be sent to Cupid! Finding out the God of Love agreed to it so fast was amazing in of itself. Peri was told the names of the Soulmates she knew about. Charlotte Mouri often called Chara, Francis Kenningston otherwise called Frisk who happened to be her friend Lita's younger brother, Koichi Kimura-Minamoto due to a contract between the Minamoto and Shirogane families that went unfullfilled until then, Luna Lovegood who lived in England, Floyd Timberwood who was the first Soulmate she met, and Hunakai 'Hunk' Garrett whom she had met before transferring schools due to a ranger affiliated alliance. She knew she had two more Soulmates, they just hadn't met yet.
Peri realised he didn't have a much to put in the room the Oliver's let him use. Kim suggested going shopping for a few more personal things once he was more comfortable in Reefside. He agreed after a few moments. Needless to say he was curious about his new godchild. When he went into her bedroom he saw a Pokemon folder on her desk filled with her homework all completed clearly and correctly. She was playing the video game Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness on Gamecube. She was progressing pretty well. Peri sat on the couch in her room and started asking questions about the game and franchise. Demiyah answered his questions while in turn asking her own. When Demiyah heard the name 'Princess Vicky' she saved her game and turned off the console/tv. She asked Peri, "Vicky as in Victoria Marcia Gray?" Peri replied, "Yeah what about her?" Demiyah looks her godfather right in the eyes and says, "Peri, she's a wanted terrorist. Has been since she was thirteen. When she killed a kid with a recently acitvated Meta Human gene. They were a week away from being sent to the Justice League Training Academy. Superman went to the Underworld and barted for the kid to be ressurected. When Persephone as in the Goddess not the traitor Mau that every hero group knows about found out the reason he died she was furious! Even more so when she realised her Demigod daughter Tricia Margaret Gray better known as Tootie was abused to the point she had to be put in a medically induced coma in order for magical doctors and healers to save her life. She had to be deaged and sent somewhere else without her memories. If you have any idea where she is so the Rangers can arrest her after 23 years of searching please tell me."
Peri said, "I heard her say she was going back to Dimmsdale. But from there I don't know what's going on there. Especially after the whole Doctor Bender fiasco where he nearly lost his license and clinic." Demiyah sighs, "If you mean Damien Bender than he's praciticing illegally. SPD shut him down after the Kids Next Door sector D as in the Dimmsdale sector filed a report wrong and accidentally sent it to SPD rather than Kids Next Door global command. The Rangers are slowly integrating them into Allies complete with new factions the Teens Next Door and the Adults Next Door. The AND basically keep tabs on the villains in civilian prisons and jails. Keeping an ear out for any news or gossip. While the TND keeps track of the rogue Mutant, Meta, and any Non Human villains. On top of the GKND." Peri asked interested, "GKND, what's that?" Demiyah replied, "GKND the Galactic Kids Next Door. Their under the impression the Adulthood is a disease. When it's a process that is natural. Some magics can't be used by kids or even teenagers well. So adulthood is a way to allow those magics to be used safely. When they 'decommission' a planet, they blow it up. Their the reasons the Yuggopotamian's have those mechanical organs. They were going to be a race of living bombs. Thankfully the Rangers are handling that along with the GKND. The question is how do we get Vicky?" Peri despite being shocked comments idly, "She hates the Chip Skylark song Icky Vicky since he wrote it about her." Tommy and Kimberly who were listening in snicker since they went to that concert. Rita and Zedd were singing that song for months afterwards. Rita even saying it was a Roast worthy of Dark Spectre's praise. Considering he rarely praised anyone that said something!
Demiyah's eyes glinted in mischief proving her Sanada mentality of "Don't get Mad, Get Even instead" true. She said, "Mom, Dad have A and B squad meet Peri and I in Dimmsdale. I have an idea and a wish." Peri catching the gleam in her eyes said, "Lay it on me kid." Demiyah smirked, "I wish we were at the abandoned Dimmsdale Dimmadome with a massive soundstage fully operation, the backing track to Icky Vicky playing, Loudspeakers, Microphones, and a way to hack the radio signal." Peri cackled like his Anti-Fairy counterpart as he granted the wish.
In Dimmsdale which to Demiyah's amazement was only a half hour by train away from Reefside, it was very quiet. Demiyah and Peri who was in a human disguise walked around the city. When they saw a couple who were in their late fifties. The woman had Brown hair and blue eyes. The man was balding with black hair and brown eyes. Peri gave them dirty looks as they passed. The man commenting, "You know you really should consider a leash for that child. Or a firm babysitter like Vicky." Peri growled as Demiyah said, "Well maybe you should consider going back to school or parenting classes. Since Peri who lived here for the first seven years of his life saw first hand the torture and abuse Vicky gave kids. She nearly killed a five year old!" Not like she could say she did kill the five year old and a Death God ressurected him. This pair was as dense as a block of cement! The woman said, "Well maybe the child shouldn't have had the meta gene." Peri couldn't take it anymore, "Shut the fuck up you abusive, negiligent, racist assholes! I have had it with you!"
People stopped to watch the scene unfold. Chester McBadbat in particular watching the blow up. Chester after realizing his skills lay in helping kids not sports, started working with the X-Men. Especially when his X-Gene activated with pyrokinesis and teleportation. Chester studied hard with Timmy at the Xaiver Institute. Timmy having Empathy and Energy Manipulation as his powers. Timmy became a social worker. He worked closely with the Rangers. Chester became a lawyer that specialized in abuse cases involving Mutants, Meta's, and just anyone with powers. Like Timmy he worked for the Power Rangers. He was part of the Black Ops unit of Lightspeed Rescue. Timmy was part of the Field Rescue Divison like Chloe Carmicheal. Soon to be Turner if things kept going the way they were. After Timmy turned eighteen, his parents gave his bags and belongings telling him there was no place for a Mutant Freak like him in their house and if he wanted to stay then he had to take the Mutant Cure. Which by then was being recalled due to the fact several kids were revealed to have severe allergic reactions to one or even multiple components of the so called 'Cure' and the UN was ordering it to be destroyed.
Peri screamed and cussed at the Turner parents and saw a pair of kids. A boy who had black hair and blue eyes and a girl with brown hair and brown eyes looking downcast. Demiyah says, "What are your names?" Already getting a bad feeling in her stomach. The boy said, "Tommy Turner. This is my twin sister Tammy. Our 'parents' had us as 'replacements' for our big brother Timmy. They said he's a jobless bum living under a bridge somewhere." Peri was angry and about to say something when a man who Demiyah recognized as Ben "Father" Uno the former Red Ranger of the Morphin' Maurader team said, "Timmy is a social worker and high up in Alpha Operations which happens to be an International Company. He's on the short list to lead Operation Maurader in the future. I should know. I'm the one who trained him when he was a kid." Demiyah while Ben and Peri tag teamed the Turner parents talked to Tammy and Tommy. Every bit was making her more angry. Demiyah schooled her face and calmly walked up to the Turner parents. Local officers knowing her. Peppy Happy Gary and Peppy Happy Betty were watching mildly interested at the scene. Demiyah effortlessly drop kicked the adult Turner's making them fall flat on their butts. Making both Gary and Betty chuckle. Flappy Bob trying hard not to bust a gut. The Head Pixie and Sanderson were watching from sidelines also intrigued by the child. Mr. Turner said, "Young lady you are in so much trouble for harming a grown up!" Demiyah smirked, "First off you even try and touch me, everyone watching will hear me scream pedophile. Second of all..." She pulled a badge from her jacket pocket which the officers confirmed was real, "As head of all police around the world including SPD, I'm placing you both under arrest for Child Abuse, Child Endangerment, Neglect, Willful Ignorance, Aiding and Consealing a wanted criminal, and Criminal Abuse. You have the Right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court. You have the right to an attourney. If you can't afford one an attourney will be provided." She hand cuffed the Turner parents as C Squad pulled up in two cop cars and a motocycle. One car took the Turner parents to SPD to be placed holding cells. The second took Tommy and Tammy to Alpha Operations to be examined. The officer on the Motorcycle started interviewing bystanders.
As they walked down the road Demiyah said, "Normally it would be handled byy civvie police but Timmy is Ranger personel. So it falls to the Rangers." Peri hums in thought. "Think they'll talk their way out of it?" Demiyah shook her head, "There's a reason the Time Guardians have a representitive on the Council. Ranger use the Time Gates to show accurately what happened so no one can successfully lie in court. Worst case scenario their setenced to Venus Island Penitentary for ten years and no contact order for their kids is issued. Best case scenario, lifetime sentance on Nightmare Island Penitentary and a mandatory sterilization so they can't do that again to anymore children. Now come on. I wanna finish looking around before Operation: Icky Vicky starts." Peri chuckled and obliged. The saw Wendell Bender who was a sweet dude even doing volunteer work in school. He ran a children's shelter for kids who were abused. He offered to send the Rangers Tammy and Tommy's files from the times they stayed there. He carefully documented every bruise, scar, and issue. Away from his messed up father, Wendell flourished. He grew up and realized what his dad was doing wasn't morally right or legal! After talking a few moments with Wendell the pair left getting some Ice Cream along the way. Gary and Betty curiously following them around. Demiyah commenting, "This Ice Cream is really bland. Mike's Ice Cream is way better." Peri tossing his in a nearby trash can saying, "I agree. Mike's is a million times better than this bland garbage. So what's the status of Operation: Icky Vicky?" Demiyah chuckled, "We're just waiting on Charlie and Jack to bring their squads. Everything else is set up and ready to go." Betty against her better judgement comes out of hiding and asks, "Need any help for this?" Sanderson and the Head Pixie are watching this human child. She wasn't like Turner but yet her natural aura was similar. For the first time in neither of them knew how long, Pixie's felt an emotion. Frustration and irritation. It was a chain reaction that would change a lot in a short ammount of time.
That night at the old Dimmadome, Operation: Icky Vicky was in full swing. Gary who knew a lot about hacking having been quite the hacker in teen years which was why he had been shipped to the Learnatorium where he met Betty by his parents. Demiyah wondered idly if these two were people that the Rangers werent able to help because of that prick. Sanderson had helped with hijacking the radio signal. Peri agreeing to start the song. Betty and Demiyah would be helping with vocals. Floyd one of Demiyah's soulmates was even helping!

Gary watched his best friend and the young Ranger child have fun making Vicky mad. So he decided to have a little fun himself.

The group was laughing as Icky Vicky better known as Victoria Gray entered the Dimmadome with the intention to harm whoever was singing that damn song. Until she was surrounded by SPD and dragged off to jail. Gary who was way more calmer said, "That was awesome! Haven't done anything like that in a long time. Not since I was teenager and was left at the Learnatorium by my foster parents as they continued to collect support checks. I met Betty and once they had to let out at eighteen, we went to college together. My foster parents found us trying to put our lives together, Betty going for medicine and me for computer programming. They grabbed us, put us through some sort of mind control program, and we ended up back at the Learnatorium working there. I mean we never got our dream jobs and we're in our fifties!" Sanderson honestly thought what Gary's foster parents did wasn't right. Sure he and HP did raises a clown away from being funny, but forcing someone like that went too far even by even a Pixie's standards! Demiyah was legally allowed to send people to the Reefside Department of Supernatural Affairs, so she said, "Reefside Department of Supernatural Affairs, Magical Drafts Office ask for Tina. Tell her Demiyah sent you then tell them what happened." She handed Gary a business card and he thanked her.
Back in Reefside, Peri laid on his bed amused at how the day went. Curious to see what tomorrow brought.
