SKB: Laser to the Heart
(Takes place during the events of Wayfinder)
Sonic is going for a run with Amy and Tails while waiting on Sora (who is currently with Sly in Paris).
Tails comments, "Still processing this recent chain of events?" Amy responds with, "My friend is a Prince now, so I'm kind of freaking out…" The 3 of them reach a barricade. Tails reasons, "This feels like a trap…" "Then we'll just blast through with Sonic speed!"
An evil laugh is heard as Eggman pulls what looks like a laser on Tails.
"I knew that trap would work.And now, I'm testing out my new machine that the Villain Alliance made for me. It creates Heartless from the galaxy of that spiky haired boy… Say goodbye, thorn in my side!" As Eggman fires, Tails looks up. He is shocked to see the beam going right through Amy's heart as she tries to fight off the pain. "Sonic, take Tails and get out of here!" "Why aren't you turning?" "We'll ask Sora later. Just go!" "But Amy! AMY!" A blood curdling scream is heard as Sonic and Tails leave the scene with an unconscious Amy. A few minutes later, back at the base, Sora arrives. "So, what did I miss?" "Eggman tried to turn Tails into a Heartless with some new machine of his. Amy jumped in and took the shot. She's not turning. Any idea why?"
Sora is lost in thought. "No way! Amy is what I call a Princess of Heart! She's got a heart of pure light like Kairi…"What does that mean?" "Turning into a Heartless is impossible for the Princesses of Heart. Don't worry, her injuries should be an easy fix." Sora summons his Keyblade. "Cure!" "And that healing spell should be enough." "Thanks."
As the chapter comes to a close, we see Amy's heart floating to the Ocean Purification Plant, where it has created a body that is the splitting image of Amy. "Where am I? Who am I? ...I'll call myself Mya. Mya Bloom. That's one question answered. Now to figure out where I am." The newly created Mya Bloom heads off to explore, as we...
