Later that night after dinner Rose was in her new room and was trying to get some shut eye but...she found, she could not sleep because of her irritated mood
"My head is throbbing" Rose said experiencing a big headache with made her unable to sleep she looked at the clock and narrowed her eyes reading it slowly 'it's not even midnight yet' Rose thought to herself
Rose got up and rubbed her eyes tiredly "God forbid, this is irritating" Rose said as she stood up from her bed and walked over to the door 'may as well take a walk around the place to calm my nerves' Rose thought to herself
[Kat- Really? You of all people who usually sleep sound like a baby? Couldn't sleep?" Kat questioned once again interrupting the story making Rose sigh
[Rose- it was a manner of inconvenience, I couldn't sleep because I was in a bad mood ok...can I continue the story now] Rose questioned as Kat nodded
Rose walked along the Corridor to find a place to look out at the moon which usually calmed her nerves...but she ended up bumping into Ellos instead "oh pardon me" Ellos said apologetically
Rose tiredly looked up at the towering figure and smiled softly "it's ok, not like you did it on purpose anyway" Rose said Ellos nodded subconsciously but then snapped out of his daze
"Um...if I may ask what are you doing out in the corridor instead of your bed?" Ellos asked as Rose looked at him "couldn't sleep those brothers had me irritated" Rose said
Ellos couldn't blame her, his stepbrothers were a little bit rotten since they were spoiled by their father ever since they were born "what are you doing exactly?" Ellos questioned curiously
"I'm just trying to get some fresh air, it's quite cumbersome in that bedroom...do you mind joining me for a stroll through the corridor" Rose said holding out her hand to him
Ellos was a bit surprised but found himself mildly amused "I would love Nothing more" Ellos said finding himself blushing at his words feeling a bit embarrassed like he just confessed his love
Rose had an arm wrapped around his as they walked through the corridor the moonlight shining through the windows "your wearing very little are you not cold?" Ellos asked in concern
"I'm fine the cold doesn't bother me at all" Rose said to Ellos with a smile Esme snorted interrupting the story [Esme- Yeah right I bet your legs were shaking from the cold] Esme snickers
[Rose- one more word out of you and I'll make Boyd peck at you for a month] Rose warned [Esme- Your no fun] Esme pouts as Rose continues the story
"Are you sure your not cold" Ellos said leaning in closer to look at Rose in concern which made Rose blush at how close he was "I'm fine, nothing is wrong" Rose said as she cleared her throat
"I suppose I forgot to ask but what is your name?" Rose said looking at Ellos "oh my name is Ellos it's very nice to be officially acquainted with you miss Rosehearts" Ellos said with a small bow
"You can call me Rose, I don't really like formalities around people I feel comfortable with" Rose said with a smile making Ellos's heart beat fasten as he also blushed and cleared his throat
"So...I'm assuming your here for the prince's ball?" Ellos said looking at Rose but saw the pout on her face "to be honest I didn't want to attend the ball, I'm not really into social gatherings" Rose said her cheeks puffed up
"Your really honest aren't you, don't seem afraid to speak your mind either...those are good qualities to have" Ellos said making Rose look up at him a bit surprised
"What's wrong? Was it something I said" Ellos said a bit worried he said the wrong thing "well, I was kind of mad at my mom for sending me here to a house full of fake people but, your the only real genuine person here...which makes me relieved" Rose said with a soft smile
"Oh...no this is how I always act" Ellos said bashfully scratching his chin with his finger blushing slightly at the unexpected compliment she gave him "Ellos I've been wondering, your not a servant are you?" Rose questioned
Ellos decided to just go with what his heart says and come clean "no...I'm actually the stepson of Lord Tremaine" Ellos said with a sigh as they stop at Rose's room
'No wonder he's being treated so badly, the stepkids are usually the ones to be treated differently over the real kids so I expected this' Rose thought to herself
"If they try anything let me know I'll put them in their place, ok" Rose said with a confident smile "no it's ok you don't need to..." "I said ok" Rose said stopping Ellos from his doubts making him nod with a slight blush on his face
"Good...well I wish you a pleasant night" Rose said as she opened the door to her room and walked inside to get some sleep while Ellos put a hand over his heart to feel it pounding in his chest
[Aurora- well that's sweet he has a little crush on you Rose] Aurora said with a giggle Rose sighed [Rose- beware it gets worse before it gets better] she warned as she flipped the page to read the next chapter
