Lorenzo caught up to Lulu as she was about to enter the women's restroom.
"Lulu," Lorenzo said, catching her attention.
"I'll let her know you're out here," Lulu said.
Lorenzo nodded in response.
Lulu entered the restroom to find Kellie trying to compose herself and dry some tears.
"Hey," Lulu said, touching Kellie's shoulder.
Kellie looked at Lulu but didn't say anything right away.
"How is it that I know how things always go with my father," Kellie finally said, "And yet despite knowing that he still manages find the right button to push and then…"
"In this case, I think it's more you're still processing finding out Victor was really after you and faked Charles's death," Lulu said, "and your emotions are little more raw. I think it's understandable that your dad pushing like he did wouldn't just roll off you like it has been more recently."
"It's not like I didn't know living in Port Charles near my father wouldn't be easy," Kellie said.
"But it wasn't not easy in the ways you expected," Lulu said, "I get it. I mean how long did I spend chasing after my father on his schemes trying to get his attention. I never got the relationship I'd wanted with him out of that. I remember it taking a lot of time to get to place where I was okay with the kind of father mine was. I love my father, but it's not always easy."
"I can definitely understand that," Kellie said. "I know it just takes time to sort things out."
"Knowing that doesn't make it any easier does it," Lulu said.
"No, it doesn't," Kellie said as they heard a knock on the door.
"Is everything okay in there?" they heard Lorenzo ask.
"We'll be out in a minute," Lulu said as Kellie looked surprised.
"Your uncle's waiting for you," Lulu said, "You ran right past him and Alexis."
Kellie groaned, "How many people saw that scene?"
"Not many," Lulu said.
"Liar," Kellie said.
"We'll just pretend they didn't," Lulu said, reaching for the door, "If they did they probably didn't even pay attention. You and Sonny not getting along is kind of old hat around here."
When Lulu opened the door, they found Lorenzo pacing, reading a message on this phone.
"There are you are," Lorenzo said, looking up.
"You didn't have to chase after me, Uncle Lo," Kellie said, "I'm pretty sure you were busy."
"I'm not too busy to check on my niece when it looks like she might be upset," Lorenzo said, "Besides, Alexis went to check on Kristina. It sounds like they'll be awhile."
"Is Kristina okay?" Kellie asked, "I didn't mean for her to get caught in the middle."
"She's fine," Lorenzo said, "While Kristina and your father get along well most of the time, she still has her own struggles with Sonny. That's not on you."
"I'm going to take off," Lulu interjected, "So I can get a quick bite to eat before going back to work."
"Of course," Kellie said, "I'm sorry that lunch turned out to be well this."
"Don't worry about it," Lulu said, "Another day. If you need to talk, I'm here."
"Thanks," Kellie said.
"I'll see you later," Lulu said, leaving.
Kellie turned her attention back to Lorenzo.
"So how much do you know already?" Kellie asked.
"That Sonny was involved and that's about it," Lorenzo said, "Now according to Alexis, Sonny is still in the dining room. Otherwise, I'd suggest we'd proceed with lunch here."
"Kellys?" Kellie suggested.
"Exactly what I was thinking," Lorenzo said.

Meanwhile, Alexis approached Sonny and Kristina, noting Kristina had been crying.
"Do I even want to ask what you did Sonny?" Alexis asked.
"What makes you think I did anything?" Sonny replied.
"I just saw your oldest daughter running away upset in the lobby," Alexis said, "Now I find you here with our daughter in tears. I'd say it's pretty safe bet you're the common denominator."
"It's not Dad's fault I was crying," Kristina said, "It was about some stuff I thought I'd dealt with, but apparently not as well as I thought."
"Kristina, I'm going to talk to your father for moment," Alexis said, "When I come back, we'll have lunch and talk. Just order me a water and that salad I like."
"Sure," Kristina said, confused as Alexis hauled Sonny off to the other side of the room.
"Explain yourself," Alexis said to Sonny.
"Is it a crime to say hello to my daughters?" Sonny replied.
"When one barely speaks to you on a good day, yes," Alexis said, "I assume you said more than hello."
"I can't help it if Kellie gets upset because of whatever she's blaming me for that day," Sonny said.
"What did you say or do?" Alexis asked.
"I simply mentioned since Victor was responsible for shooting Charles, Kellie could cut me slack there," Sonny said.
"You did not," Alexis groaned, "In what world would you have thought that was a good way to start reconciling with Kellie. I don't think you get to make that point when Cyrus Renault held everyone hostage after Victor's sniper did his part."
Sonny started to protest.
"I'm not done yet," Alexis interrupted, "Even if you had a valid point, pushing it right after we all found out Charles is alive and putting our daughter in the middle of it is just boneheaded even for you."
"You're right, I should have left Kristina out of it," Sonny said, "But Kellie was barely giving me the time of day. How am I supposed make amends with her when she won't speak to me?"
"Sonny, I'm going to tell you something you're not going to want to hear," Alexis said, "Because it is contrary to every instinct you have as parent, particularly when it comes to Kellie. But you and Kellie have consistently butted heads since the day she first came to Port Charles. It's my personal opinion that with everything that happened last year, Kellie got tired of the back and forth with you. And maybe didn't have the energy for it on top of grieving Charles with her kids. I don't know. From what I have seen other than today, she is cordial and civil to you. Isn't she?"
"Well, yeah," Sonny said, "Only when we happen to cross paths."
"Have you considered that maybe you might make more headway with Kellie if you respect how and when she wants to interact with you?" Alexis asked, "From what I understand you did gain a little ground in being able to work with Kellie on finding Spencer and Trina. However, you blew all that to pieces just now."
"I really don't want to admit you might be right," Sonny replied.
"It doesn't change the fact that I am," Alexis said.
"So I'm just supposed let my daughter shut me out of her life," Sonny said, "While everyone else gets to have a relationship with her, including your husband who I still can't stand."
