A map of Nihonera was laid out on a table with several locations labeled. Fortren, the capital, Hydroton, Dariquin. All these major cities labeled for him to see,

"I believe this is a satisfactory list for now. Does anyone disagree?" Donquixote questioned. Vida looked upon the map shook her head,

"No master, I think that's a great list." Two more figures, Dreadnought and Arsenal, had something to say,

"I saw we add a military base. It'll slow down any response and we might get some cool-ass tech out of it.," Arsenal pointed out. Donquixote nodded in agreement,

"Fair point. Take your pick, but we don't need any weapons or technology. We've got plenty as it is." he said Arsenal, albeit reluctantly, agreed. Dreadnaught, in the other hand, pointed out a potential flaw,

"How will we be able to hit all of these at once? We'll be spreading our forces thin with most of these attacks directed towards major cities. We'll need heavy firepower if we want to take on the Senshi." Their leader thought for a moment as Vida came up with an idea.

"Master, what about the news earlier? Who needs firepower when you don't know who's attacking?" she suggested. Donquixote smirked,

"Good job, Vida." he complimented, "Now, you are speaking my language." Vida bowed in thankfulness as Donquixote smiled. Operation Blackout would go smoothly.

On his way to fulfill his daughter's request, Blastoise decided to check in on Aggron and Garchomp. For the former, he was surprised to see the steel type had already recovered. Aggron was stretching as he said his goodbye to a Lucario. She passed the water type, allowing him a chance to talk.

"How are you holding up, soldier?" asked Blastoise, looking at Aggron's heavily bandaged legs. His injuries didn't seem to bother him. Aggron smiled,

"Better than I thought. The doctors said I shouldn't stress them too much but other than that, I'm ready to go."

"Good to hear. I'll go meet up with the others," Blastoise said.
"Oh, I've got to ask you," said Aggron, "What are we going to do about Pangoro? If he's hunting down Lee, then I can't just go back to my norm life knowing a friend of mine is in danger." As of now, there was no plan. The Senshi were caught completely off guard. No one had anticipated the Black Mask leader would make a return. Luckily, the group had managed to fight them off, but they would be back on their feet eventually. They couldn't just play cat and mouse nor hole up and pray this new group doesn't sneak their way in. That and the Phantom Corp returning to the rise meant that they couldn't divert resources to protect them.

"I'll let you know soon," said Blastoise, "I can't make any promises,"

"What do you mean?" Asked Aggron incredulously.

"There are a lot of priorities for the NSA as of now. I can't imagine that protecting one man is one of them," explained Blastoise. Shame was written over his face. Aggron was not happy,

"So they're just leaving him with the wolves?! That's bullshit!"

"Aggron, calm down."

"No!" He yelled, "That man destroyed a terrorist organization, fought a god, and saved thousands of lives and this is what he gets?! Left to be hunted down for the rest of his life?!"

"Don't you dare put words in my mouth!" snapped Blastoise, "That's their decision." He sighed to himself, calming himself. Anger makes you say things you'll regret. "Listen, I will fight to make sure he get's taken care of. Worst case scenario, I can protect him."

"But you can't do that forever," said Aggron, "You're a Senshi. If they tell you to do something, you have to, and you're just one man." That last sentence hit Blastoise close to home. Regardless, he shook his head clear and told Aggron,

"I'll…I have an idea, but I need to run it by Lee first."

"Why him?" asked Aggron once he took a breath and relaxed.

"Because whether or not he goes through with it is up to him," said Blastoise as he turned around to leave. Aggron took a step to follow him but stopped himself. Whatever Blastoise's plan was, it sounded personal.

His next stop was to meet with Garchomp. She rivaled only Lopunny in terms of her injuries. Bearing the full brunt of a counter, her body had been ripped to shreds. The only thing that made him more confident that she would make it would be her draconic healing factor. It wasn't much, but it ensured her survival. If Lopunny was waking up now, then Garchomp should be as well. Of course, if she was still alive, that is.

Opening the door, he was relieved that his worries were unfounded. Garchomp was worriedly talking to her doctor. He wasn't able to figure out what they were talking about before she noticed him. She stood up, before immediately sitting back down, wincing in pain. The doctor rushed to her side. Evidently, her recovery would still take awhile. Even with that healing factor of hers.

"At ease. We don't to make this any worse now, do we?" said Blastoise calmly. Garchomp was swift to respond,

"I haven't heard anything from Gardevoir since I woke up. I wanna know if she's okay," she exclaimed worriedly. Never had he seen Garchomp so sensitive regarding this topic. Clearly, there was something behind the scenes here. Perhaps they were roommates. Anyway, he tried to ease her worries,

"I'm sure she is okay."

"You don't get it!" said Garchomp, "No one's seen her since last night!"

"WHAT?!" yelled Blastoise. Gardevoir is missing? How? There are dozens of Senshi looking for her and other survivors. How did no one find her yet? If she were dead, they would've found her body by now. It was possible that she would be found within a few hours and there was no need to worry. However…

"Do you have any way to track her down? If I'm not mistaken, then there should be an app that lets you locate her," he asked. He wasn't the best with technology. Garchomp shook her head,

"I never connected our devices," she said, looking down at the floor with intense guilt.

"Dammit," exclaimed Blastoise in frustration. With no leads as to where she had gone, they had no way to figure out where she was. However, perhaps they shouldn't be asking where Gardevoir was. Blastoise decided to ask: Who would Gardevoir tell if not Garchomp?

"Her family," whispered Garchomp. She asked the doctor for a phone book, which was swiftly provided.

Kakei Jigamasa was busy vacuuming her home. The sound of the machine did nothing to distract her. What was going on? She hadn't been told much, but that was enough to activate her motherly worries. When she told her husband, he reassured her that everything would be okay. Most days, she believed him. Not today. All she wanted was to know if her daughter was okay. She would find out soon enough.

*ring* *ring *ring*

Kakei immediately answered the phone,

"Chrona! Are you okay? Did you change your mind?"

"Is this Kakei Jigamasa?" asked Garchomp on the other line.

"Who is this?" questioned Kakei.

"I'm Chrona's girlfriend," said Garchomp, "Do you know where your daughter is?"
"Chrona's…girlfriend?" Her daughter was dating…a woman? Was she nice? Why hadn't she been told sooner.

"Focus! Did Chrona call you?" said Garchomp anxiously. Kakei opened her mouth but stopped herself. This stranger had suddenly called her asking about her daughter claiming to be her lover. If they were her girlfriend, they should know where she was.

"Why should I believe you?"
"Please, Ms. Jigamasa. I need to know. I've tried calling her she's not responding," she insisted.

"Let me talk to her," said Blastoise. Reluctantly, Garchomp let him speak. She wasn't sure what he was going to say.

"Madame, I am Haidoro Densetsu. I am a Senshi currently attending victims of the Hauntasia attack,"

"Oh," scoffed Kakei, "And you just so happen to be friends with the number one Senshi."

"I'm not going to try and change your mind. I'm just going to state the facts. Currently, your daughter is in an incredible amount of danger. The terrorists, despite our best efforts, have escaped the scene. Your daughter engaged in direct combat with at least one of them. There is a non-zero chance that they will seek revenge." As Blastoise continued, Kakei grew more and more scared. This…This was far too much. Terrorists? Chasing her precious daughter? Surprisingly, from this fear came an iota of pride. Her daughter had managed to save lives. For the first time in hours, she smiled. Back to the point. With great hesitation, she gulped and told them the truth.

"Chrona called me. She tried to sound calm but…I just knew in my heart that she was upset. She said that she was coming home. As a mother, I couldn't say no to her," she explained

"Is she home now?" asked Blastoise.

"No."

"Do you know where she is?"

"If you are near Fortren, then I imagine that she is on her way to Hydroton. There's teleportation services there. If she wanted to go home quickly, then she'd mostly likely be on her way there," she explained. With that information, Blastoise thanked her,

"I'll send someone her way. Thank you for the assistance." The conversation would've ended but Kakei couldn't hold it in much longer. Tears began to shed. She whimpered into her WristOn,

"Please…Please protect my baby girl." Blastoise calmly told her,

"You have my word," before hanging up.

Blastoise turned to see Garchomp trying to leave in spite of her injuries. He tried to stop her, urging her,

"Don't overwork yourself. You haven't completely healed yet." However, Garchomp refused. She looked towards Blastoise,

"She doesn't need a hero right now. She needs a friend. Besides, we beat them good. We have some time before they go on the offensive. Just…Just check on Lee. Okay," she asked. When questioned why, she told Blastoise, "If there's anyone we ought to be worried about, it's him," before leaving. His worry for her prompted him to do something. He did nothing to stop her, however. She understood more about the situation and Gardevoir than he did. He decided to trust her on this.

With all of that done and dusted, it was time to check on Infernape. Garchomp was right. With Lopunny in the condition she was, Infernape must be devastated. He had been through a lot throughout his life. He needed someone to support him. Who knows what was going through the fire types mind at this point.

And he wouldn't know what was on his mind.

Blastoise turned the corner to see a nurse crying. Immediately, he rushed to her side and asked what happened. She was inconsolable,

"He…He…He…" He kicked the door open and the sight before him had his heart stop.

Infernape was gone. The room was empty. Curtains danced around in the wind for the window was open.

"No, no, no, no, no," muttered Blastoise as he rushed towards the window. He looked down and sighed with relief. Thank Arceus. There wasn't a red stain below. At least Infernape hadn't…Where did had he gone? He was anywhere by now. With his family having lost contact with him eight years ago, there was no one that could possibly tell them where he was.

Two members of the group had left in the dead of night.
