The scene opens in Arkham Asylum, in the neighboring cells the hatter and scarecrow chat away about many things, like bats and Blondes, of shoes and ceiling wax, of Revenge, and weather pigs had wings
Hatter: I have something to tell you John, it's something I've wanted to tell you for a while
scarecrow: well I have something to tell you too, but we're going to have to wait for somebody to happen first
before the hatter can I ask why there comes a deafening boom, the to cell Neighbors, look to where the sound was and see a big hole punched into the door leading to the rest of the asylum, and the one who did the punching standing just in front of it hidden by shadows in addition to three others
short feminine looking Shadows: evening doctors, I've come for a checkup, well actually I check out
Hatter(flabbergasted): is.. Isn't that the girl who
scarecrow(smug): yep, and you got that girl in a plus, so she owes you
theme plays
the scene is now in the streets of Gotham, Batman is doing his usual Patrols, when it comes in alert from the bat wave informing him that there's been a robbery at the Gotham Museum
when the Batman gets there the scene doesn't show the usual markings of any villain he knows to frequently rob museums, around the room is shattered glass stemming from two encased jewels, the plaques read "white rabbits foot" and " close foot"
Batman had barely put all of this into the deduction part of his brain when the comes cackling laughter from what sounds like the ceiling, when he looks up he sees the familiar face of ragdoll, though he's not wearing his usual villain get up, and it's place he wears a pair of purple cat ears and as for clothing he seems to be wearing casual wear except for what looks like a store bought purple Cattail which hangs limply from his position on the ceiling, another thing that's odd is his eyes that seem to glaze not with their usual Madness but something else
ragdoll: meow
the man then Falls like his namesake on to the bat, soon the Batman's on the floor being loomed over but the smile on the ragdoll's face Falls as he looks up as if you're listening to something and quickly runs away through the entrance, only now just the Batman notice that in both of his hands are the stolen jewels
Batman just about prop himself back on two legs to give Chase when another alert from the bad wave comes over his wrist-mounted communicator, he gives an exasperated sigh and the scene cuts
to aabandoned building in the Gotham suburbs, inside a tea table is set at the table is sits the Scarecrow, Mad Hatter(seated next to each other obviously), in addition to them there are two others, to college students, one glassy-eyed and wearing a stereotypical Carpenters outfit and the other dressed in an ALICE dress, though her hair isn't blonde like one would expect and its place will be wedlock Trail down her back
Alice dress college student: once again Mr tetch I must thank you for letting me interview you for my thesis, you really are an inspiration, not only as a neuroscientist but also a villain
Hatter(blushing): oh really Miss Anne, you flatter, but honestly getting you a good grade can be all the reason you helped us get out of that Dreadful Asylum
Mary Anne: oh believe me gratitude to make someone do just about anything, but my gifts towards you have not ended yet
the pause and speech is given context when through an open window close the ragdoll carrying the jewels he was sent out to get
Mary anne: case in point, I present to you to very interesting Jewels I read about in the papers
in front of the hatter is placed the white rabbit's foot Jewel, a pure white diamond in the obvious shape of a rabbit's foot, and placed in front of the Scarecrow is the Crow's foot an obsidian in the shape of a bird's foot obviously
Hatter: is at all, not saying I don't like it it's good to get jewelry now then but I was expecting something a bit bigger
Mary anne: that's it for right now, but as you noticed I also sent out the big guy to get something for us as well
almost on Q the front door swings open as it's punched by a big Burly linebacker wearing a funny looking hat and a plastic wall with mask, his hands is occupied by a bag of store stolen baked goods
Mary anne: and now a party can come in
the three conscious people we can having a nice little tea party but unbeknownst to them the Burly linebacker has been chipped and is leading the enemy right to them
meanwhile back with the Batman he's in his car and soon gets to the warehouse his map shows the tracking device he planted has stopped at
soon the bat is at the door of the only lit room in the building
Batman(bursting through the door): stop right there you follow criminals
Hatter(muffled by chewing) how did he find us
Mary Ann: he must have chipped one of the people i sent out, no matter (points to the Batman) destroy him
a fighting shoes but the Bat gets the upper hand by using a portable EMP to shut down the chips causing the people who are to fall unconscious, Mary Anne is about to fire the gun she pulls out of her apron pocket when Batman uses some sort of Goo shooter to stick her shooting hand to the wall behind her
and so the hatter and scarecrow are back in Arkham, still sharing cells next to each other
scarecrow: so what were you going to tell me when we were talking earlier
Hatter: will... It's probably not important... We really shouldn't but
scarecrow: it's okay just tell me
hatter: well... IreallylikeyouandIthinkweshouldgoout
scarecrow: what(realizes what he said and starts blushing) oh, well... I think I'd like that too
hatter(hopeful): really
scarecrow: yeah really, so what do you think we should go when we have the time
the hatter begins to babble nonsense about his dream first date and John just listens contentedly
