Comic for Batman Gotham Adventures
...
The comic begins with the Scarecrow reading a book, his face is shadowed by his hat and evidently he's without his mask
Suddenly in the next panel the sound of a slamming door is heard followed by a speech bubble clearly coming from whoever slammed the door
Off screen character Speech bubble: Johnny! guess what
Scarecrow(not turning his eyes from his book): what darling
Off screen character speech bubble: gay marriage is legal in Gotham
Scarecrow: that's nice
Then what he heard hits him and he turns his head and continues
Scarecrow: what now!
The next panel ease of March Harriet holding an invitation and a yellow box above her reads a snippet of the note
" The Crow and the bunny are being married in the spring, in the spring, in the spring, under the light of The Shining Sun"
The next panel is an illustration that looks like it was drawn by a child, it shows a hulking figure clearly meant to be Bane but with cute little bull horns on top of his head, draw next to him are John and Jervis, with Crow and rabbit features respectively, a very misshapen ring levitates between Bane and the fiance's, the yellow box in this paddle reads as such
" they went to the bull for a ring, for he had many to spare, to spare, to spare"
The next panel is of jenna duffy(the carpenter) holding up an invitation like Harriet got the yellow box and her panel reads as such
" they invited all the bunnies bestest friends, bestest friends, bestest friends"
The panel after that returns to child drawing illustration form, this time it's of a bat and a bird tied up and what seems to be plant vines, the yellow box in this panel says
" and when the help of a plant no back no bird would ruin their fun, they're fun, they're fun"
The next panel is of the drawings real life inspiration, Robin and Batman are Tangled Up in the ivy of the wedding hall, this panel doesn't have a yellow box
The next set of panels do and go as such, a shot of John and jervis hands entwined, looking into each other's eyes lovingly, though only the Hatters face is visible , the only thing visible of John is his scarred lips
And they both said I do
The scene Zooms in as their lips inch closer
I do
And closer
I do
And finally the comic ends with their lips interlocked
"And they lived happily ever after"
The end
