Heya welcome to my Percy x Harry Potter Fanfic. In the first Year Percy will have no idea that he is a Demigod. He will find out in his summer. Gabe was never part of the story. Percy will be an upbeat dude, who will become more serious as he has more adventures as a demigod. Hope you enjoy. If you have any suggestions or tips dont hesitate to review.
I do not own any of the Characters nor the Plotline. They mostly belong to Rick Riordan and J.K. Rowling.
Percy POV:
I awoke to the sound of knocking and my mother's voice.
"Coming" she said. "What are you doing here Professor?"
Knock knock* was heard on my door a few minutes later. My mother peeked in my room.
"Percy, dear. Why dont you get dressed and come out." she said her face a little white.
I got dressed and went to the living room and saw the oldest Man I have ever seen sitting at our Table. I watched him warily as I sat down across from him. Mom came in and placed a plate with blue Pancakes in front of me with a candle on them.
"Happy Birthday Honey. I love you" She beamed at me. She placed a plate filled with Pancakes in front of the old man and herself.
"Thanks Mom, love you too. But who is this?" I said smiling politely at the Man in front of me.
Her smile faltered a bit, and she took a deep breath.
"Well honey there is something I need to tell you. This is Professor Dumbledore, and he is the headmaster of my old school. A school for Magic to be honest. Percy I was a Witch. Although I left it all behind me when I went to America and met your father. So I thought that maybe you wouldn't inherit it." My mom said with a concerned look at her face.
I looked between my mom and that Dumbledore dude and waited for one to jump up laughing and saying you got pranked. But when that didn't happen, I sighed.
"Ok and what does that mean?" I asked with a level of calmness that surprised myself.
Now Dumbledore spoke up. "First let me congratulate you. Happy Birthday. Since you are from the United States, I felt it appropriate that I myself come and invite you to Hogwarts. The school is in Scottland and accessible via London." He explained to me.
I chuckled a little at the name I mean what name is Hogwarts. I looked straight at the old man and saw he was serious about every word he said.
"Ok so I am a wizard. To be honest that does make more sense than I would have hoped. For example when the Sharks asked me to drop my class into the aquarium. I thought I went crazy."
I admitted.
"However. You do know that I have ADHD and Dyslexia, yes? Also you said the school is somewhere in Scottland. I can't just attend a faraway boarding school without first asking my mom for her opinion. I hope you understand." I said confusing myself and the adults with my reasonable approach.
"Percy? You didn't tell me about the sharks. All the more reason that I think you should attend Hogwarts. It is the best wizarding school there is. Also you can visit on your holidays, and I will show you a way to communicate with me since writing via Owls won't be easy for you" Mom said thinking that it is also a good opportunity to keep Percy away from his father's world with the exception to Iris messages. Since the gods are in America there should be less Monsters in the UK.
I blinked at mom and blinked again. "Ok if you say so. I mean it won't be different than the boarding schools here. I will see you on Christmas and summer holiday. Also I hope your communication doesn't require writing."
I turned to Dumbledore and said "Ok so if you are willing to accept me, I am in. Mom seems to trust you. When do I leave for England?"
"If it is ok with you, you will leave in 5 days and then stay with the Weasley's. They are a wizarding family I put my trust in. You will stay with them for 9 days and they will also take you shopping for school supplies."
"Ah yes. His Fater left him some Money at Gringotts. Here is the Key." Sally said when she felt her pocket weigh a little more than before. She pulled a blue key, which seemed to be made out of coral, out of her pocket and handed it to Dumbledore.
I looked at her unbelieving. My Dad. Was he a wizard as well? Will I meet him soon? I restrained myself before asking those questions. Later would be enough time to ask all I want. Once we were alone.
"Ok sure. I can stay with them, I think. So how will I get there?"
"I will come and apparate you." Dumbledore said while getting up. He said his goodbye and with that it was a very confused me and my mom.
As soon as the door closed, I bombarded her with questions. She explained everything she could about the wizarding world and mentioned how I could contact her. Giving me 30 Gold coins in the process. However to my dismay I didn't learn anything about my father. It always was a tricky subject and today was no less. I figured that I would learn more about him once I am at Hogwarts.
5 Days later
"Ok grab onto your luggage and my arm. Grab it tightly, your first apparition will be a quite unpleasant feeling." Dumbledore told me standing in the middle of our living room.
And boy did he understate the facts. I felt like I was sucked into a hose and then spit out. I never want to do THAT again. After I retched for a few seconds, Dumbledore said his goodbye and I stood in front of one of the coolest houses I ever saw.
Ok to be honest it looked like it would break down any minute but at the same time it defied all the laws of Physics I learned and forgot in my Years of school.
A little nervous I went towards the door and knocked. The door opened and a smiling round face opened the door.
"You must be Perseus. I am Molly Weasley. Dumbledore said you need a place to stay till the school begins. Come in, come in."
"Hello Ms. Weasley. Please call me Percy. Perseus always makes me feel like I am in trouble. Thank you for letting me stay here."
I went inside the house and looked around and I felt right at ease. The atmosphere was very warm and homey. It also helped that I saw the dishes doing themselves. Sitting at the table were a number of redheads. After we all Introduced each other, I got shown my room which I will share with Ron a boy my age. I unpacked the essentials like my toothbrush and some clothing. Once I finished, I sat down with Ron, and we talked a little bit. I told him that my mother was a witch, but I never knew about this world, so he did his best to explain some things. I mean as good as any eleven-year-old boy can explain. The next few days were quiet, I mostly talked with Ron. During the meals I asked his Parents about the Wizarding world. All in all I was amazed at the magic in and outside the house. I spent a lot of time outside in the Garden since I didn't want to annoy the Weasleys with my hyperactivity too much. I know it can be a bit much sometimes.
Finally the day came. Today we would go shopping.
We stood in front of the Fireplace, and I eyed it suspiciously. The Weasleys told me what I should do however even if I accept that Magic exists, I don't really trust standing in the middle of a fire. After the twins Fred and Goerge demonstrated it was my turn. So I threw some of the powder into the fireplace and said Diagon Ally. I really want to scream at whoever invented any sort of travel in the wizarding world. I mean is it so hard to just not feel like you want to throw up?
I got out of the way before the rest of the Weasley family came through. Ron, Mr. Weasley, Ms. Weasley and me stayed together since it was Rons and my first time.
"First stop Gringotts. Percy needs his money." Said a cheery Mr. Weasley. With that we snaked our way through the wizards blocking the street.
I don't know how many times I almost got lost because I was staring at something in a shop window. For all the flaws the travelling has there is more than one amazing aspect in everything other. Finally we stopped in front of a huge marble building.
We went through the enormous Doors and stood in line to see one of the Goblin bankers. How cool is that? Goblins! Finally it was our turn. Ms Weasley did the talking for me. I only gave the Key when asked. I could swear the eyes of all the Goblins were on the key for a split second. But it was so fast I could have imagined it. We went to another Goblin who would take us to my vault.
Now a few minutes later me and the Weasley family stood in the lowest part of Gringotts in front of a marble Vault with waves and a trident on it. The Goblin asked me to put my hand on it. After I did I felt a breeze and smelt the sea. The door slowly vanished and my mouth fell on the floor.
In the vault there were mountains over mountains of gold and silver. I recognized the coins my mom gave me for communication and others which were the wizarding currency. After a few seconds I turned around and looked at the Weasleys to ask how much I will need for the year. They were also staring at the money but as I asked, they rid themselves of their stupor and told me how much I would need for school supplies and to take a little bit extra for if I want anything.
So after I grabbed 2 bags and filled them up, we left the Bank and headed to the real shopping.
Finally after 3 hours we were almost finished. I got robes, books and class supplies now finally it is time to get my wand. To be honest I am really excited. I was could not keep still for the life of me so when we finally stood in front of the store, I didn't think about it twice and just entered. The Weasleys said they would wait outside so I could have my privacy.
"Hello? I am here for my wand." I stated looking around curiously.
The shop didn't look like much. It was dusty and old, but it had a mysterious air to it. Suddenly I heard a voice and a white-haired frail looking man came into sight.
"Ah hello young mister. I am Ollivander and my family makes wands. May I know your name?" he asked in a raspy voice.
Percy Jackson, Sir."
"Jackson, you say. Ah Sallys kid? Your mothers was such a nice kid. How is she?"
"She is fine sir. Thank you." I replied.
"But that's enough of that you are here for your own wand. Shall we begin. Stretch out your wand arm."
I hesitated when I wanted to stretch my right arm out and something in my gut told me that I should use the left arm. So I did. After I stretched my arm, a measuring tape shot out from Ollivander and started to measure everything it could. Ollivander meanwhile looked at me and after a bit he vanished into the backs of his shop.
He came back holding 4 boxes. After he placed them on the desk, he waved his wand and the tape flew back. He beckoned me forward.
"Acacia wood with a unicorn hair core, 14 and brittle flexibility. Come on give it a swing." He said.
I swung the wand, and all the windows broke instantly. I very quickly placed the wand back and apologized but he just seemed amused. With a wave of his wand he repaired the shop and gave me the next wand.
After six or seven more wands I grew more and more frustrated and he seemed to enjoy it all the more. He muttered something about a restless spirit and vanished again. I sighed and waited. He came back with only one box and had a confident smile.
"This one is a very special wand. I never imagined myself to sell it. You see it is a very tricky wand. It doesn't want to be contained. However once it founds its wizard it will only ever serve him. It is a 13-inch driftwood with a double core, one unicorn hair and one scale of a hippocampi."
After he finished his explanation, I took the wand in my hand and instantly felt a rush of power and warmth spread through my whole body. I gave it a swing and a heavy sea breeze ran through the store, cleaning all the dust and leaving the scent of the sea lingering around. I looked up and saw a content, Ollivander. I quickly paid for my wand and left the store.
