Dave and the Chipmunks were so happy to be together again. They had been apart for so long that it seemed like a dream. They were so excited to be back together that they couldn't wait to get back to the cabin. They drove all night and arrived just as the sun was coming up. As they pulled up, Dave's smile slowly faded.

At the front of his door, Dave found his Boss along with his client, and his greedy landlord waiting for him. The two men didn't look happy. In fact, they looked like they were ready to pounce. Dave's heart started to race as he realized that he was in a great deal of trouble. He remembered that he sacked off working for three months because he thought he lost his boys.

"I knew we celebrated too early, sighed Dave to himself.

"Who's the hippie and the big guy in the suit?", said Alvin.

"That is my boss and Rockin' Rod, the DJ at the record studio I work at... or should I say use to work at", said Dave, "I've M.I.A for three months, they're probably coming to check on me to see if I'm ok and then fire me.

"W-Well, What do we do?!", asked Theodore.

"What can we do?", said Dave, "Other than beg to keep my job." Dave sighed as he got out of his car.

"Stay here", said Dave, " I don't want to lose you guys again. The boys pouted but stayed put. They watched as Dave walked towards the cabin and began pleading and begging to keep his job. It was pretty clear that he wasn't winning them over. Just then, Alvin lit up with glee.

"Guys I have an idea", he said, "A good one!

"Oh, no!", said Simon, "No more of your 'good' idea!" Before Simon could say anything else Alvin whispered his idea in Simon ear. Simon perked up with astonishment.

"Wow", said Simon, "That's... that IS a good idea!" As Dave continued begging for his job as his boss looked on in disappointment and the landlord with an evil smirk.

"David?", said the boss, "Who are those three?" Before he could look, Dave felt a tug on his trouser pants. He looked down and saw Theodore and his brothers.

"Guys I I told you to stay in the car", said Dave. The boys walked in the cabin past the boss, rob, and the landlord, pulling Dave along with them.

"Guys please, not now!", said Dave, but the boys weren't listening. They just pulled them all the way to his piano.

"If I may step in, man", said Rockin' Rod, "I think they want you to play something." Dave wasn't too sure about this.

"I think that's a great idea!", boomed the boss, "You've been yapping about keep your job, well show me you want to keep it! Unless you want to lose your job."

"I recommend you the second option", chimed in the landlord. Dave glared at the landlord, then turned to the boss, who was serious about him playing a song for him. Dave gulped and sat at his piano.

"What do I do?!", whispered Dave to the chipmunks, "I don't have a song ready for them." The boys just smiled.

"Oh, yes we do", said Alvin. Dave looked confused until he realized what he meant.

"Oh, no", said Dave.

"Oh, yes", said Simon.

"Guys, that song was just made for fun", said Dave, "They're not going to accept it."

"Doesn't hurt to try", said Theodore.

Dave was still adamant this wasn't going to work, "But I..."
"Today, Seville!", said the boss.

Dave looked at his boys. They seemed sure this was going to work. Dave awkwardly shrugged and nervously played the first note to their favorite.

Alvin:
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you

Simon and Theodore:
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
And then the witch doctor, he told me what to do
He said that

The Chipmunks:
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang

As Dave and his boys continued their routine, the boss and Rockin' Rob watched him with intense concentration. Their expressions were serious, but the looks on their faces were definitely impressed. They both had impressed smirks on their faces, and it was clear that they were impressed with Dave's performance, though he couldn't say the same for the landlord, but Dave wasn't trying to impress him. Dave could see that this plan was working.

Dave:
You've been keeping love from me
Just like you were a miser
And I'll admit I wasn't very smart
So I went out and found myself
A guy that's so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart

The Chipmunks:
My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to say
My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to do
I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you

Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang

As the boys finished their song, the room fell silent. Dave and the Chipmunks waited anxiously for the verdict. Just then, the sound of a slow clap started forming. Everyone looked and saw it was the boss.

"That. was. Phenomenal!", said the boss, suddenly, "Just who are these talented kids you have found, David.

"We're the CHipmunks!", smiled Alvin.

"Alvin, Simon, and Theodore", said Dave, "These are my boys.

Well, Dave", chuckled Dave's Boss, "You've impressed me and my client here well enough, right Rod."

"You best believe it", said Rod, "You guys are awesome!" The boys nudged each other with excitement.

"Well," the landlord said, clearing his throat, "that was better than I expected. However, you still owe me rent, and I can't wait much longer." The boss suddenly pulled out a stack of cash and handed it to the landlord.

"Is this sufficient?" he asked.

"Have a nice day!" said the landlord, and he quickly left.

"Dave, I've got a proposition for you," the boss said, "I'm willing to keep you on and double your salary if you and your boys work for my company." Dave glanced at Simon and Theodore, who nodded in agreement.

"No", said Alvin.

"ALVIN!", said Dave, Simon, and Theodore. Why would he say that?

"What are you doing?!", said Simon, through gritted teeth. Alvin just backed him off.

"We'll accept the deal as long as you TRIPLE his salary, just enough to get us out of this dump", protest Alvin. The boss looked at Alvin sternly, but then chuckled.

"You got heart, kid." He turned to Dave and said, "You got yourself a deal!" Dave extended his hand to his boss and they shook hands, sealing the deal. The Chipmunks broke into cheers, knowing that they've just negotiated a great deal for them. Dave hugged his boys tightly, excited for the future that lay ahead. He was proud to work with his boys, but he was mostly glad to have his boys back and he was confident that they would continue to thrive.

Three Years Later

"A few days after , JETT Records filed for bankruptcy. We had won ownership of all the songs they had made under their label. With the money we made from those songs and my new salary, we were able to leave that rusty old cabin and traded it in for this beautiful house in this beautiful neighborhood. The house was two stories, with a swimming pool and was 1000 times better than the cabin. It was like a dream come true.

In that time, we've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the biggest names in the industry. We've also won multiple awards, which is always a nice feeling. But the best part of this whole experience is that we've been able to do it as a family.

And I couldn't wish for a better life.

"And that's how I met the boys," said Dave, finishing his story. The three kids were amazed.

"Wow!" said the boy, "That was amazing, Mr. Seville." Dave smiled.

"It sure was," he said. "And I'm sure glad that I was able to meet them."

"I-I've got a question",said another boy, raising his hand, "What happened to Uncle Ian and Cousin Harry?"

"I don't know, but I'll tell you this", said Dave, "As long as I'm still kicking, I'll be sure he doesn't hurt my boys ever again." The boy nodded, satisfied with the answer.

"Now, I have a question for you," said Dave with a smile, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"

"We are kids from the neighborhood and we wanted to know where the bathroom is," the kids replied.

"Oh," said Dave in a puzzled voice, "Down the hall and take a right—No No, Wait! Why are you in my house?" The boys looked at each other and then back at Dave.

"We never miss a Chipmunk concert!", one of the boys said. Dave looked at the boys in confusion.

"What concert?", he asked. Just then, the muffled sound of music could be heard from down stairs. Dave stood up and walked over to the front window. He looked out and saw his front yard filled with fans. Through the crowd, he could see a sign near the front, and his blood started to boil as he read the sign.
