Everyone was busy doing their own thing now.

Poppy had left with Branch an approximate five minutes prior, the pair heading back to the former's pod to get started on making invitations for Poppy's meeting to send to the other tribes.

Poppy because she wanted him elsewhere.

Branch because he wanted to be with her.

Clay had left to meet up with Viva, planning on the both of them attending the meeting as well. The Putt Putts were still very much a tribe as they had been back then. After all, they did need to round up some to stand guard around the forest with the bounty hunters to keep their eyes and ears open just in case the police from Mount Rageous came looking for Velvet and Veneer.

And, that, of course, left Floyd as the one to keep an eye on Velvet and Veneer (John jokingly referred to it as babysitting duty).

Bruce and John tagged along. For now.

Bruce because wanted to spend some time with his brothers before he left to go back to Vacay Island to be with his family. Though he would promise to return the next week. John because he wanted to spend some time with Bruce. And that time, of course, was spent sitting on Veneer's right shoulder whilst he and Velvet took a walk back through the same forest they'd ended up in just an hour and a half earlier.

"Okay….Quick question? Where are Velvet and Veneer going to stay? They're huge?" Bruce asked, breaking a silence that'd made itself apparent a couple minutes into their walk. It was technically a question that should've been asked a while ago, but still. That didn't stop him from asking now.

Floyd paused, racking his brain for a response. When nothing came to mind, the only response he could think of was a simple shrug.

John raised an eyebrow. "Floyd, you're kidding me? You didn't think the housing thing through?"

"I'm sorry, John!" Floyd rebutted. "Being preoccupied with worrying about the fact that other Mount Rageons could come to the village within a few hours time and how it poses a threat to all of troll kind is way more important than worrying about housing situations for non troll species that are several times our size—!"

"Enough!" Bruce yelled, cutting Floyd off before he could finish. "I'm just as angry as you, John, but these are orders from the queen. Poppy wants to reform them so let's just go along with it. I agree with Floyd. Velvet and Veneer need a place to stay. But the only place I can think of is Bergen Town."

"A Bergen is smaller than a Mount Rageon, Bruce," Floyd told him. "Velvet and Veneer won't be able to fit in a Bergen sized house regardless. Why not Vacay Island?"

Bruce was quick to shut that idea down. "Absolutely not."

"Exactly!" John agreed. "If I were you, I wouldn't want them staying on my island either. Plus, Poppy wants to reform them here so Vacay Island would be way too far for them to go. I can't figure out what to do—"

"We can think more about this after our walk. Let's just clear our minds—"

"A walk to clear our minds? That's an awesome idea. I'm in!" a familiar voice said from beside Floyd. He turned to find Branch beside him. When had he swung his way up to Veneer's shoulder to join them?

"Branch?!" Floyd was the first to speak, breaking a short-lived silence the same moment it started. "What are you doing here? What about Poppy—?"

"Poppy dismissed me, said she could send the invitations herself, so I came to join you." Branch paused and looked around at their surroundings. "How far have you already walked?"

"We stopped in the middle of the forest due to a housing disagreement," Floyd was quick to say. And, you know what, I changed my mind. Let's just continue on with our discussing housing for these guys." He stood up and tapped Veneer's shoulder with a foot.

"Boo!" John stuck his tongue out in a joking manner. "You guys can do that later so why not continue on the walk and enjoy yourselves?"

"Wait? You're not coming?" Branch asked, looking at John in confusion.

John prepared to use his hair to grab hold of a nearby tree branch and swing his way off of Veneer's shoulder. "I'd rather not be around these two anymore."

Bruce shot him a glare. "Stop being so mean, John."

John raised an eyebrow, a smug look appearing on his face. "Do you want to be around them anymore?"

No. Not really." Bruce ran a hand through his hair before doing the same thing as him. "You know have to get going. I miss my wife and kids back on Vacay Island and I can't wait to go back and see them. I'll be back for a couple weeks starting next week though."

"One point for me. Zero for you," John joked.

Bruce just rolled his eyes, a smile on his face. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"Just take Rhonda with you, okay?" John said. She's a good girl and she'll keep you safe."

"But she's yours…. If she goes with me, where are you going to stay?"

"I'll have Poppy arrange a pod for me." John turned again, swinging his way off of Veneer's shoulder onto the tree branch before wrapping his hair around another branch and swinging his way to the ground. Bruce followed behind. "Plus taking Rhonda with you will make it easier for you to come back whenever."

Before Bruce had a chance to even protest, John had already whistled and called Rhonda over. He quickly explained everything to her and pushed Bruce towards the armadillo's door and inside the bus once the door opened. With Bruce inside and Rhonda already on her way to Vacay Island, John turned to look up at Floyd and Branch. Both trolls had already swung themselves off of Veneer's shoulder and were looking back down at him.

"I'm going to go and talk with Poppy," he called up to his youngest brothers. "You guys all enjoy your walk!"

Floyd and Branch nodded, swinging their way back up to Veneer's shoulder as John turned to go on his own walk back into the village.
