The best present the no had ever gotten in her life was the one she had during her first Christmas in Gotham
she was 16, and still a little bit shaken from her near witch burning she was happy to be with people her parents saw his friends
she had many gifts that Christmas, some sweaters, some books, and the occasional game
but her favorite was a shiny pink heart pattern switchblade
"for protection" aunt Harley explained when her parents gave her twin glances of confusion
" well no say I'm not surprised to give her that" her blonde father muttered
" why don't I get a switchblade" her brother whined

Lewis's favorite present was given to him on his 14th birthday
the day was really a great day all around, they had a great cake, and some really entertaining entertainment
but the best thing of that day was the presence, and the best best present was one of his Papa's fear toxin recipe books
" for when you're ready to take up your Papa's burlap and scythe kiddo" papa says as he gives his only boy a playful pat on the head
Lewis only smiles and thinks of all the Mayhem he can cause when he's old enough to hold a safe properly

If anyone asked which Christmas Dorothy tetch like the most, she'd say one from her childhood
but really it was her 20th, she thought she'd never feel the childhood wonder she once felt about Christmas ever since she turned 10, she spent that Christmas and the family basement, her parents want bad people they locked her down for her well-being, though they could have made it a bit more homey
anyways Christmas is since then have been okay it's good to have some time with the family, the gifts are nice, but nothing Earth shattering like opening presents when she was a kid
but that 20th birthday present she got from Aunt Harley was something else, it was a gun, she's always wanted a gun ever since her family moved back to Gotham, and not one of those newfangled plasma guns, a real gun with real bullets
and now she had it, and it felt good in her hands, and after some practice on both living targets like birds and the occasional annoying raccoon, she can safely say she likes her gun
