An peaceful morning has filled in Frontiersville. Some citizens are waking up and starting their day as usual. The town is a medium-sized city and has stores, restaurants, and even schools. However, one person will have their life change today.
Mandy heard her alarm clock go off at 5:30 am and shut off the alarm. A few minutes later, she finally had the energy to get out of bed and take a hot shower so she would be clean. After she dried herself off and put deodorant on her armpits, she then started getting dressed in her usual clothing: a bright pink/purple dress with a white apron in front, socks, and blue cowboy boots. She then brushed her beautiful blonde hair (it was a ponytail) with a brush, brushed her teeth and used mouthwash afterward, sprayed perfume on, and finally ate blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon for breakfast.
Mandy's job is being a teacher in high school (she actually has two jobs; the second one is being a preacher for her church) so she needs to be there before 8 am. Once she grabbed the stuff that she needed, Mandy headed out of the door and walked. Most of the residents use vehicles and horses to get to places, but the high school is only 5 miles away. Once she had arrived at school, Mandy noticed that some of the teachers and the principals had gathered up together in the break room as they were watching television.
Mandy decided to sit down and watch what is going on. The news report was that a satellite signal in Coco Town had crashed down in the city and the news reporter, Annie Campbell, told them that there may be an alien sighting (mostly from Cosmi who caused this accident).
"We may be getting an alien invasion?" She said in concern.
"We're not sure yet." The principal said. "Although the government is looking for more information about this sighting."
"Interesting. I just hope the aliens are friendly…" Mandy nervously said.
While she waits for the first bell for the high school to ring, she looks at the news report and thinks about the situation. If she even does meet an alien, then things will change.
Hours later, after the school day is over, Mandy decided to stop by at the Southern Soul restaurant to grab some late lunch. When she arrived though, someone called her.
"Mandy! Come here!" A bartender called out.
"Brady!" Mandy exclaimed, walking over to the table section and sat down on the seat. "I would like my usual drink, which is a glass of cold milk. And I would like a plate of chicken tenders with a side of French fries and a plate of chocolate cake."
"Sure. That will cost you $18.36." Brady informed her, as Mandy pulled out a $20 and gave it to him. As he poured milk on a glass, he also pulled out change and placed it down on the table along with the milk. "Here is your change. Will be back with your food."
"Thanks." Mandy thanked him as she took a sip of the glass. A few minutes later, her food had arrived as she ate her lunch peacefully. Her school day had gone very well. She teaches English IV, which is a course for seniors. It was a test day on one of the chapters of Cowboy Days and almost all of her students had finished the test. A few of her students were absent, so she placed them in the make-up box. In her free period, she graded most of the tests (from 1st period to 4th period) but has yet to grade the last two classes (which was the 5th and 6th period).
After she finished her food, Mandy cleaned her mouth with some napkins and got up to leave when her friend called her name.
"Got any plans for the weekend?" Brady asked her.
"Yes. I got to grade some tests and then clean up my house tonight." Mandy replied to him, rejecting him. "But I will be free tomorrow night."
"Let's go out to a fancy restaurant at around 8 pm. As long as my boss doesn't let me work late." Brady said.
"Good day, mate!" Mandy winked as she left the restaurant.
As she was walking back to her house, she began to think about her church. Her church is running low of funds to afford projects and to keep up the payments. By the way she reached her house, she saw smoke coming from her backyard. That is where her fruit and vegetables garden is.
"Uh oh! Hope someone didn't catch my garden on fire!" Mandy panicked while grabbing a handgun from her drawer in her bedroom. When she went outside, the only damage that occured is that some of the vegetables are damaged or destroyed completely.
Mandy looked around before she spotted a small ship, which was smoking so badly. Upon looking down, she looked at an alien, who was unconscious. Putting down the gun, Mandy started to think.
What should I do with this alien? Can I turn it in to the authorities…? Nope…I will take care of it before I make my decision.
Mandy grabbed the alien and carried it to her house.
Upon meeting him, this will change her life forever.
