"Professor Lestrange?" Cho greeted as she knocked on Professor Lestrange's door.

"Yes, how can I help you, Miss…?"

"Chang."

"Miss Chang. I'm sorry, I don't recognise you from one of my classes."

"I'm not due to take your class until next semester," Cho said. "It was about a personal matter."

"I see. I'm not sure I'm the person for this. Perhaps the guidance counsellor?" Professor Lestrange offered.

"It's about your nephew."

"Draco?"

"Yes. He's in my class and he's one of my best friends."

"You're brave," Professor Lestrange quipped. "Or a glutton for punishment."

Cho laughed. "Quite."

"He can be… eccentric. And—"

"Obsessive?" Cho offered.

"Exactly! Well, what can I help you with?"

"He says you two are very close and he tells you everything."

"Yes. My ears are still bleeding from the last time he ranted at me."

Cho laughed again. "You too? Then you are perhaps aware of our other friend?"

"Harry?"

"Yes."

"My condolences," Professor Lestrange said, looking at Cho sympathetically.

"Well, this is what I need help with. Draco is quite besotted with Harry and talks about him non-stop when he's not there."

"I am all too painfully aware of this. It's just a shame that your friend Harry isn't interested."

"That's the thing—he is!" Cho effused. "Harry makes my ears bleed about Draco, quite as much as Draco does about Harry!"

"You poor thing," Professor Lestrange said, her eyes growing wide in horror at the thought. "You're stuck in the middle."

"Yes! And I'm fed up listening to them pine after each other and not doing a damn thing about it. I was hoping to enlist a bit of help from you to save me from this before I end up needing a straightjacket and a soft padded room," Cho declared.

"I'm listening."

"No, I don't think I agreed to that. That's a terrible plan," Harry complained at dinner that night as Cho and Draco's Aunt Bellatrix excused themselves from the table at the same time.

"It's a wonderful plan," Cho said. "We'll get a drink and you two can sit and tell each other about your feelings for each other."

"I… I don't…" Harry and Draco blustered.

"Oh, you do," Cho snapped. "I'm fed up being stuck in the middle. Sort it out!"

She left, leaving Harry and Draco to look at each other, blushing.
