Throne Room

Left without their leader, Outworld's inhabitants who suffered under Shao Kahn's reign.

But the emperor had some very strong amd loyal followers, who esaily thwarted the rebellion.

They were brought in front of centaur, Motaro, who now leads the Outworld.

Tarkatans untie one female captive, giving her a chance to stand, when Motaro enters the arena - "Exhibition match! Li Mei vs me, Motaro." - Crowd erupts with anticipated cheers.

Li Mei takes her stance - "You will not touch the Sun Do!"

Village's protector leaps for a spin kick at Motaro's head. Centaur quickly turns around and knocks Li Mei with his tail. Whatever Sun Do protector tried it ended with Motaro's big whipping tail.

Yells of crowd engulfed the Coliseum - "Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!" - Motaro grabs his opponent's head and rips it off Li Mei's crumbling body. - "The game has just begun!"

Guards tightly hold an angry, screeching female vampire, while bringing her in front of their new leader - "My next challenger will be the last vampire of the Vaeternus, Nitara!"

Guards uncuff Nitara, and she confronts Motaro with determined screeching and attacks the centaur.

Motaro overpowers Nitara in hand-to-hand. The vampire lady leaps away from her opponent, who jumps at her like a horse. Nitara flies up over Motaro and lands on his back.

Vampire sink her teeth into centaur's neck, drinking his blood. Motaro's high endurance helps to keep himself in the game, while shooting an energy ball from his tails, knocking Nitara off his back.

Nitara picks herself up, having absorbed some of Motaro's blood, her physical attributes had increased. But it still wasn't enough corner Motaro.

Centaur lifts her battered body by shoulders and penetrates her chest with his iron tail. Nitara screamed in fearful agony, as Motaro's energy orb was charging within her insides, until she explodes.

Satisfied with result, Motaro laughs loudly and booms at the crowd - "The next match will be--" - until a familiar voice finishes - "Postponed, until further notice!" - Survining Outworlders were stunned - "Emperor! You live!"

Escorted by Quan Chi, Shao Kahn enters the arena - "I'm not so easily killed. Quan Chi accelerated my recovery." - Centaur bows to him - "Emperor, I--" - Shao Kahn interrupts - "Not. One. Word. The only reason you still exist is because I take into consideration your success at crushing the rebellion."

Shao Kahn sits on his throne - "Nevertheless, Outworld can no longer merge with Earthrealm." - Quan Chi speaks - "There may yet be an alternative, Emperor. Invasion." - Shao Kahn looks with disbilief

- Shao Kahn: Do you mock me? Sindel's Ward prevents me from setting foot in Earthrealm.

- Quan Chi: Have you considered why your wife and empress chose to betray you in this particular fashion?

- Shao Kahn: Of course. But even after millennia, her motives are a mystery.

- Quan Chi: She realized that the safeguards are afforded by the Elder Gods through Mortal Kombat are but fiction. She sacrificed herself to give protection the Elder Gods could not. So Earthrealm could not suffer as had Edenia."

- Shao Kahn: Indeed.

- Quan Chi: I have mastered the spells necessary for her resurrection. Her ward will be nullified. And with it the barrier that prevents your entry into Earthrealm. I will return her to you of course. You will find her much more... cooperative.

- Shao Kahn: This is a very magnanimous offer.

- Quan Chi: I wish only to serve, Emperor.

- Shao Kahn: I am weary of sorcerers, Quan Chi. Prove your worth. Bring her to me.

Desert

Quan Chi and Noob Saibot arrive to their target's burial spot.

Green magical tornado, forms a whirlpool within the sands. Skeleton's arms emerged from the ground.

The undead being was crawling away from the necromancer, but Quan Chi easily binds it in his magic, reconstructing the body's flesh.

When the corpse's skin formed, it screamed with agony. Noob Saibot takes his fighting stance should resurrection go wrong.

Quan Chi kneels in front of revived woman with long gray hairs with black line in the middle.

- Quan Chi: Sindel.

- Sindel: Quan Chi?

- Quan Chi: Shao Kahn looks forward to your return.

- Sindel: The emperor! Yesss.

While necromancer gestures "At ease." to his subordinate, Sindel regains her bearings - "What of Kitana?" - Quan Chi says - "Your daughter has been murdered by an Earthrealm warrior." - Sindel expression turned grim - "Then I'll avenge her. Take me to Shao Kahn." - Quan Chi rises up - "Yes, Empress. The invasion of Earthrealm can now begin."

Streets

One early morning, strange creatures appeared on the streets. Their intentions turn out to be hostile, as they attack everything they don't recognise from the Outworld.

Regardless of color, gender or age. People were dying at the hands of these invaders. Survivors called in a military.

Humanoid monsters were getting overwhelmed with Earthrealm guns, but Titan-sized monsters and the dragons were forcing soldiers to pull back and regroup.

While some unlucky unit were decimated by Motaro, the Black Dragon members observed the situation behind the ruins.

- Jarek: What a freak show. I bet we'd get a whole load of greenies for their skins and skulls.

- Kira: Reckless idea, Jarek. We need to find the Earthrealm Defenders from the legends, they might help.

- Jarek: Brilliant, just brilliant job they're doing.

Jarek jumps from the cover despite Kira's protests, and fires from his shotgun at Motaro, getting the attention of slightly injured centaur.

- Jarek: Whatever. I'll just keep Kira's share for myself.

Jarek fires at centaur's front. Now prepared, Motaro withstands the projectile attacks. With bullets being ran out, Jarek attacks in close range. The monster knocks him away with a strong single shot.

The Earthrealm criminal wasn't giving up, much to centaur's amusement. Motaro keeps intercepting Jarek, grabbing him by the collar and slugging him to face.

Now tired of this charade, Motaro fires his energy blast at his opponent, who dodged on the last second. Next thing Jarek sees is car's front bumper crashing his skull and moving through, now headless corpse.

The commanding voice signals his partner - "THE BRIDGE!" - And they press the detonator's button, triggering bridge's destruction, Motaro runs opposite from his opponents, 1) Dressed in blue SWAT outfit and has a cap; 2) Average cop's T-Shirt and has a long black haircut.

- Stryker: (tsk) It's still alive.

- Kabal: At least civilians are evacuated.

A sinister voice spoke behind them - "That would be the least of your worries." - Stryker and Kabal turn around and see Motaro, now warped to their side of bridge.

Motaro corners them - "Earthrealm resistance will be annihilated!" - Cops dodge away from the edge and monster's attack. Now reversing their positions.

Stryker and Kabal threw their greenades at the monster. Now ready, Motaro deflected them back. Cops barely succeeded dodging from explosions.

They tried to run, but centaur catches up with cops and grabs their heads while knocking the duo at each other. Sensing their stronger than average essence Motaro takes their unconscious but alive bodies - "The Emperor will have your souls."

A/N: Wow, my morgue gets loaded with more kombatants.
