The twins are on their training, receiving such hard training despite being exhausted, they kept on running, working up with their stamina, slicing dummy matts and perfecting their breathing techniques, non-stop. All as such for one training to get used to, strong endurance.

Both twins with wooden swords on their case in striking Giyu, endlessly until they collapse due to exhaustion. With Giyu having the ultimate defense, the twins are on their case in slashing him non-stop. Yumi with her speed for offensive techniques, dashes to Giyu from behind to strike him but to her surprise, he turned to deflect the slash and then catch her forearm, Yumi was surprised about it as she was thrown off, while Giichi rushing to him, but Giyu deflects it, but it didn't stop him there since he continues to slash at him, same goes for Yumi, showing up to slash while dashing around. Giyu then goes off to slash at Giichi, in which he starts to deflect it as much as he can, but the attack continues to come. Giichi was pushed away but Yumi shows up to slash but Giyu deflects it as well and goes off in slashing her, Yumi dodges and deflects till she dashes off and shows up from behind to slash his head, same goes for Giichi showing from the front to slash him. But Giyu ends up slashing both in one Strike, both got pushed away but still kept attacking him. This continued on for 3 hours in, and the twins seemed exhausted but they kept on going, Giichi and Yumi dashing around, slashing and defecting from Giyu, not a single scratch was laid to him. Yumi shows up to slash at him from the front and Giichi from behind as Giyu slashes and shattered Yumi's wooden sword, and grabs Giichi from his arm and throws both off. Both twins are on the ground, having some bruises left on them, while Giyu says, "that's a good start for you both. You'll get to Endurance Training after a few other tests to be finished, keep training harder, and try not to pressure yourself." The twins nodded in which they seemed very exhausted but they still stood up.

1 month later

the twins are eating as Yumi says "That is how it goes, dealing with Kizuki ranks is no joke." "We're getting used to it, all we have to do is perfect our Swordsmanship, reflexes and our breathing technique." Says Giichi, as he continues to eat. A crow flies by as he says "you both have been promoted to rank Tsuchinoto. You both shall be joining the other ranks there by tomorrow." Both twins nodded as the crow leaves.

Next day, with Tanjiro and his squad, training with Kanao, and Tanjiro is the only one who's doing well, as he managed to recover fast. Leaving Inosuke and Zenitsu to train more, while Kanao's on a bench, watching until Tanjiro comes in and sits with her. Tanjiro asked "Thanks for helping us in the recovery training, Kanao." Kanao stayed silent and faces to him while smiling, Tanjiro he seems to sweat a little and Kanao simply takes a coin out, flips it as it fliped to heads "There's no need to thank me, it's my duty to follow my late Sensei's footsteps in helping others." She says it as Tanjiro thought 'Kanao speaks.' "oh, good to know. Say... what was that coin for?..." He asked and Kanao said "i flip it to make decisions, heads for me to proceed what I want and tails to refrain the thought of what i must do." "I think it's a little bit of a misguidance there, you might end up making a decision from a coin in which you might regret. How about you try and follow your heart, listen to what it says?" Says Tanjiro and Kanao smiling gently and saying "it doesn't matter, I'm fine with the coin." "Really? You seem like you enjoy quiet and peaceful time alone, and to notice you smell like you are afraid when someone was trying to talk to you. As if you are shy, are you?" Says Tanjiro and Kanao opening her eyes a little wide as Tanjiro says "Tell you what, let the coin decide whether you have to follow your heart or not." Kanao seemed hesitant as Tanjiro says "Don't worry, i won't judge." as she proceeded in taking her coin out, she flips it as it lands on heads "It's Heads." Kanao's eyes were shaking in nervously while carrying the coin, but Tanjiro grabs her hand and gently makes her close it as he says "Kanao, the heart is where it strives in being a person. There's no need to be afraid. You have Shinobu-san with you, same goes for your siblings-in-arms. Follow your heart." As Tanjiro release her hand, and Kanao began to stutter "Ho...how-...how did you know it would...come to heads?" She asked as she was nervous, as Tanjiro says "just by chance, even if it heads to tails. I'd convince you to keep flipping it." Kanao's eyes started to shine up as she then looks to the ground while holding on to her coin. She looked to Tanjiro who he's watching Zenitsu and Inosuke training, Kanao starts to have flashbacks of how Kanae pokes Giyu as a way of affection on someone she likes, Kanao starts poking at Tanjiro's shoulder as Tanjiro faced to her in confusion, "you okay?" She didn't respond, and he saw how she kept poking at him. Tanjiro then looks back to Zenitsu and Inosuke training, while Kanao continuesly poking at him and Tanjiro is letting it slide. Shinobu then comes in as she says "Kanao, Kamado-kun. You both are in the same class. Why not join them?" Kanao stands up as she bows, Tanjiro stands up as well "yes, I'll get going then." Both of them left, as for Shinobu witnessing the 2 boys training like crazy. Inosuke says and continues to train. "Heehhhh!!! The Child of Fire God is ahead of me! I must Catch up to him immediately!! For I. Am. The King of the Mountains!!!!" Zenitsu on the other hand, Training in pulling rocks while complaining "Tanjiro you bastard!! You go off Hanging out with Girls this Causally!!!!! How is it that you make a girl's heartbeat go Crazy!??!!?" He yells while crying blood.

The twins returning to the estate as they saw Giyu in the training hall, simply sitting on his knees all alone. As Giichi comes ahead and sits Infront of him, placing his sword next to him. Giyu opens his eyes to see his son, looking at him. Leaving him to ask, "what is it?" "You do realise that rumours about our existence is going to spread. Right?" Says Giichi and Giyu replied with "i know, and i don't care anymore about what the other pillars would think." "Aren't you going to open up to them, like Oka-san wanted." He asked and Giyu looked down as he says "I don't know...i just." "Nope, there is no 'I don't know' in this. You are still having negative thoughts in your mind." Says Giichi. Giyu sighed in which Giichi crossed his arms, Leaving Giyu to see Kanae in him. Until, "Caw! List of missions for you Tomioka Giyu. Caw!" Says Kanzabaru in which Giichi raising his eyebrow and saying "Go, and i won't go off ignoring anyone else like that. You'll make them misunderstand you." Giyu picks his sword up in which he says "They don't care to understand me anyway." He walks away in which Giichi wasn't sure what to do now. He simply sighed as he makes his way to the kitchen, helping Yumi out. "Oto-san will be away for a while, why not invite Tanjiro, Kanao to come here and like have some time here." Says Giichi and Yumi smiling, chuckling. saying, "something tells me we all might become the next generation of pillars."

Next day, the Kamaboko trio training harder as they can. until she saw Kanao comes in as she says "Tanjiro...Im heading to Giyu-sensei's estate. Wanna come?" "Heh? Tomioka-san? Are the twins there?" Asked Tanjiro as Kanao nodded, "can.. Inosuke and Zenitsu come as well?" Asked Tanjiro and Kanao nodded as Inosuke says "Mwahahah, I'm going to show that raven Haori man who's stronger now." The 4 are leaving. "Hey, Butterfly Girl, are they any food there?" Asked Inosuke and Kanao says "maybe..." "Maybe?!" Asked Inosuke and Tanjiro says "we'll get food eventually, be patient."

They arrived at the Waterfall estate in which Yumi comes in, "Ara Ara, you have arrived. Good to see you all here?" She says it, while wearing an apron and arms behind her back and smiling gently. "Yumi-san, is your father here? I don't smell him here at all." Tanjiro asked and Yumi says "He's off on a mission, so in the meantime, we'll spend time together. Get to know more of each other. My guts tells me that the next generation is entering right here." "Mwahahaha, The King of the Mountains is all but a part of it. Same goes for the Child of Fire God." Says Inosuke and Zenitsu just Cringing 'What is wrong with him?' "let's just head in, and take our time." Says Yumi. Later on, the whole squad eating their meals "Mwahshaha, this tastes good." Says Inosuke as Yumi who's also eating says "I'm glad you like it Hashibira-san." Nezuko comes out of her box as She goes off hugging Kanao who she caresses her head. "Seems like your sister is good condition." Says Giichi "Yes. I'm doing what i can to turn her human again." Says Tanjiro and Inosuke says "Hey, Raven boy, we're going to fight after this?!" "Not unless we finish eating and wait for it to digest. I don't want to risk vomiting it all on you." Says Giichi, Tanjiro while eating "I'm sure we can all have sparring match a few hours after this. I have to train harder as much as i can, i defeated a lower moon and it became a huge deal for Oyakata-sama. He told me to continue training as much as i have to." "Next generation, here in this place. Who knows what's going to happen next?" Says Giichi "There Many steps to pass in order to be a pillar, And to master them, it's all arranged here."

A few days later, in the Field Giichi and Inosuke sparring with wooden swords in which Inosuke is Slashing consecutively and chaotically, and Giichi is just Casually deflecting the slashes, while the others are watching. "Keep it going, i know you can do it." Says Giichi as both on their stance "Beast Breathing, 2nd fang..." "Water Breathing , 1st form..." He goes of Slashing vertically downwards with both swords "Slice." as for Giichi, "Water Splashing Tide." Going for a long rang arching slash, as both continuesly slashing but Giichi is in good defense position and keeping it all up. Same goes for Inosuke who's getting stronger, "Beast Breathing 5th Fang..." "Water Breathing, 6th form..." Inosuke goes rushed to Giichi in the air, as he goes for Chaotic slashes, "...Crazy Cutting!" "Raging Whirlwind." Giichi twisting his body and going for a Spiral Whirling slash. Deflecting all the chaotic slashes making both of Inosuke's swords to shatter in 2. Inosuke falls down, landing on his knees as Giichi says "Well, that's a good fight you put up with. But you have to train harder." Inosuke then says "Oh I will, and we'll see who's the strongest among us all."

A few minutes later in which Yumi is Cleaning off Inosuke's bruises, while witnessing Giichi and Tanjiro on the field, in which the squad is watching as well. "Who do you think is going to win?" Asked Zenitsu in which Inosuke watching, "I don't care, i just want to watch the fight." "Tanjiro defeated a Kizuki, so he might be at Pillar strength at this point." Says Yumi, while Kanao is observing it. Until Giyu arrived home and sitting next to the squad in the porch as he asked "Inviting friends here, I'm happy to see that." Says Giyu. As Tanjiro dashed to Giichi, "Hinokami Kagura..." Going for the strike, while Giichi jumps and goes for the slash to deflect it using the Water Breathing concept, from his wooden sword having water flowing out of it. "Gyaaaaa! So fast!" Says Zenitsu in which Giichi and Tanjiro clashing to eachother, "Water Breathing, 4th form..." Going for consecutive slashes "Striking Tide." while Tanjiro deflects them "Raging Sun, Flame Dance. Clear blue Sky." Going for consecutive slashes, vertically, horizontally and a whole 360 slash. Dancing from one form to another as for Giichi, "3rd form, Flowing Dance" dancing around and slashing him, "Burning Bones, Summer Sun." But Tanjiro deflects it from one spiraling slash. As for the spectators witnessing them fighting. "Crap! These 2 are crazy fast!" Says Inosuke as Yumi says "Oto-san, is this pillar strength to you?" "Almost." Giyu answered and Zenitsu said "these 2 are monsters." "Work on your stamina training, and Swordsmanship perfection nonstop." Says Giyu in With Yumi nodding in agreement. Jumping back to Tanjiro vs Giichi, "Beneficial Radiance." Tanjiro spiralling himself into the air and going for swirling slash leaving Giichi to go for, "Water Breathing, combination form..." Striking vertically downwards, deflecting the swirling slashes and immediately front flips ahead over Tanjiro and goes for another vertical slash "Waterfall Wheel." But to his surprise, Tanjiro seemingly vanished over an after Image. 'An after Image?' "Fake Rainbow." Giichi then felt something coming from behind, as he goes "1st form, Water surface Slash." "Fire Wheel." He felt Tanjiro coming ahead for a surprise attack and immediately goes for his form, leaving both wooden swords to shatter. Resulting in a tie, as Yumi says "That's something." "Never seen an after Image before, How'd you do it?" Says Giichi. "It's about performing high speed twist and rotation. That's all." Says Tanjiro as Giichi says "Sounds like an affective form. I might have some ideas about it."

Moments Later, Zenitsu with a wooden sword in hand as Giyu as well, with Zenitsu shaking "There's no way I can fight a Pillar." "Are you going to tell that to a demon?" Asked Giyu and Zenitsu flinched in Giyu continuesly says "You are being a coward for nothing, if the former Thunder Pillar trained you, he sure saw something in you which you don't get to see..." Zenitsu opening his eyes wide and Giyu says "...Are you going to let his teachings go to waste?" Zenitsu's tears falling out in remembering that his gramps told him to believe in myself. "Let me ask you a question. What do you think Thunder Breathing is all about?" He asked and Zenitsu said "All about focusing on your legs the most?" "And you have great hearing, do you?" Asked Giyu and Zenitsu answered "I do!" While calming down "Then use them, find out what you are capable of." Says Giyu as He prepared his stance in Zenitsu looking to the others, he saw how others were fighting like crazy so he doesn't want to fall behind. He prepares his legs, bending them towards his front and dashes to him in speed, on his way to slash him but Giyu deflects it, Zenitsu lands to the ground and realise that he did it, he saw how Giyu is getting ready. 'He's right, I can't let Gramps training go to waste.' he dashed to him in which Giyu deflects it as all, but it didn't stop Zenitsu there, he continuesly dashing and slashing Giyu but he delfects every slash. "Thunder Breathing, 1st form, Thunder clap and flash..." Zenitsu dashing to him in 8 different directions, "8 fold." As for Giyu who he deflects every slash Zenitsu goes for. As Both stopped, Zenitsu getting ready as Giyu says "There it goes, you've done it. I don't see any fear of trembling in you." Zenitsu dashed to him and slashes him, Giyu deflects them all. As for the spectators, "Monitsu is suddenly fast now!?" Asked Inosuke as Tanjiro says "As fast as Thunder, that's what it is." "So he was being a coward for no reason." Says Giichi. Meanwhile back with the 2, Zenitsu Slashing while sweating as he goes "Thunder Breathing, 1st form, Thunderclap and Flash..." He prepares his stance and "Godspeed." Zenitsu dashed to Giyu in godlike speed, in which Giyu deflects it but his sword gets shattered while Zenitsu passed through by Giyu dodging it, but felt a blow from the speed. Zenitsu falls to the ground as Giyu says "That's one strong move." Zenitsu doing his best to stand up as Zenitsu says "I can only use that twice, because it destroys my legs." "Then work on your legs, make sure they get strong enough for you to overcome that limit." Says Giyu in which Zenitsu nodded, as he rushed to the porch in speed, as for Giyu coming in.

A few days passed and Kanao and the Kamaboko trio leaving the water fall estate, returning to the butterfly mansion, as Tanjiro says "That's alot of sparring matches lately." "I won't fall behind, I will reach your level Gompachiro." Says Inosuke and Tanjiro replied "I know you will." As they returned back as Shinobu was at the roof saw Kanao with the 3 boys, they all entered while Kanao is now in her room and Shinobu comes in "Ara Ara...where have you been Kanao." "Training with Water-Pillar." Says Kanao and Shinobu asked "Oh? That loner? Since when do you want to go off to train with someone no one likes?" But Kanao didn't respond at all, Shinobu noticed she isn't using the coin anymore but she couldn't get any answer from her. She very much left the room and got lost to it, Kanao stays silent to many specific things, first was Kanae's Haori, and now it's her visiting Giyu. 'She's Definitely Hiding something.'
