Once the studio lost the qualifier, Piper made a few changes as the new studio head of The Next Step.
Piper left her ex-boyfriend & newly head choreographer Finn in-charge of the studio while she took time to reflect on the qualifier.
Piper closed the studio for a few weeks, A-Troupe was preparing for their group dance.
Piper had made the decision before she left the studio for a few weeks, that Camryn can return to A-Troupe as she has proven her worth now.
Piper walks into Studio A, as she returns to The Next Step.
"Right A-Troupe, we had a little setback at the qualifier, but I promise you that The Next Step will go to Regionals" said Piper.
"So what's our next step for the next qualifier?" asked Camryn.
"Well according to the email that I have received from Absolute Dance, we are welcome to compete at the next qualifier for Regionals but it must be a solo" said Piper.
"So we have to pick a soloist?" asked Finn.
"Yeah and I have already shortlisted it to three indidviual dancers who I think can represent The Next Step very well on that stage – the people who have been shortlisited are – Camryn, Ellie, and Millie" confessed Piper as she taps away at her Ipad looking for the results.
"So who's it going to be?" asked Camryn.
"I decided the one who will be the soloist is Millie" said Piper.
Millie is worried and anxious as she still feels she is to blame for the team not winning the qualifier.
"Are you sure? I still think it was my fault we lost the qualifier" said Millie.
"No, Millie, you are not to blame for The Next Step losing, this was my fault I am your studio head and I believe in you" said Piper.
Finn worked with Millie on the choreography for her solo.
Finn and Piper shared the office, Piper still disliked the idea of Finn working with her as head choreographer of A-Troupe as she was still heartbroken when he broke her heart.
But Piper had to remain professional and she planned to be a better studio head after taking her break from the studio, she noticed that she needed to be a more hands on studio head, she had given Millie too much responsibility as dance captain and now she has to focus on the new A-Troupe and getting them to Regionals.
After learning her solo, it was finally time to dance it perfectly.
Ryan raged at Millie, "yes, it is your fault we lost Regionals but you need to get over yourself not everything is about you" said Ryan, Ryan was trying to push Millie into being a better dancer.
All of a sudden when Millie danced, she was full of fiery dance moves.
Ryan & Millie kissed each other on the lips, realizing they needed each other.
A new relationship had formed in The Next Step.
Finn walks into Piper's office, Piper was angry with Nick.
"You can't do this! It's our studio!" exclaimed Piper as she was outraged with fury over a phone call with Nick the studio owner.
"Problem?" asked Finn.
"Nick has just said that after this season, he can no longer be the studio owner The Next Step needs, he plans to sell the studio which means I could be out of a job after Regionals" said Piper.
"don't worry Pipes, we will think of something" said Finn.
Piper is anxious about what the future will hold for her as studio head of The Next Step.
A-Troupe dancers went home, Camryn and Millie were left alone.
"Camryn, I think me and You should be co-dance captains of A-Troupe?" asked Camryn.
Millie is shocked.
"We were dance captains before when we were at The Explush Dance Studios and it didn't go too well remember" said Millie.
"That's different, Explush was not a very nice studio – here we could really make an impact as dance captains" said Camryn.
Mille nods her head as she thinks her and Camryn could start being some really good friends.
