INT. RESOLUTE - DAY

Obi Wan walks beside his new Padawan, McKayla. They're heading to the briefing room. It's her first mission in conjunction with the 501st, and she has no idea what to expect, save for the crazy stories she hears about them.

OBI WAN
As you know, General Skywalker was once my Padawan.

MCKAYLA
And the exact opposite of you.

OBI WAN
(amusedly)
Yes. And the entire 501st is precisely like him.

MCKAYLA
Rash, unpredictable, and immature?

Obi Wan chuckles and puts a hand on McKayla's shoulder.

OBI WAN
Something like that. But let's just keep that part between you, me, and Cody, alright?

McKayla nods as they enter the briefing room.

INT. BRIEFING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

The briefing room looks just like any other briefing room. But this one has a tall, young man with flowing brown hair standing next to an older teen-aged Togruta.

OBI WAN
This is General Anakin Skywalker, and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano.

MCKAYLA
Nice to meet you!

ANAKIN
Ah, so you've finally landed yourself a - what did you call it, Master? An I've-got-to-teach-the-next-generation-before-I-get-too-old.

OBI WAN
That's not how I put it.

Anakin waves off his comment with a hand and then places his hand on Ahsoka's shoulder.

ANAKIN
Maybe Ahsoka can show you around? Get to meet some of the boys before the big mission?

MCKAYLA
That sounds great.

Ahsoka steps forward and motions to McKayla.

AHSOKA
Follow me. You're gonna love the 501st.

INT. SPARRING ROOM - LATER

Ahsoka and McKayla step into the sparring room, only to be crashed into by a giant body. McKayla lets out a yelp as Ahsoka yells.

AHSOKA
Jesse! Really!

McKayla scrambles to stand up straight again, then stares at who she presumes is Jesse. He looks embarrassed, but he must be cool. He's got a huge tattoo of the Republic tattooed across his head.

JESSE
I'm sorry. Commander. I wasn't looking at where I was going.

AHSOKA
(waves a hand)
This is McKayla, Obi Wan's new Padawan!

JESSE
Nice to meet you! If you're anything like Cody, you'll fit in pretty well.

Jesse snickers and walks out of the sparring room.

MCKAYLA
What did he mean by that?

AHSOKA
Cody happens to be the victim to most of our pranks. But don't worry, you're on our side now.

Ahsoka smirks at McKayla. McKayla gives her a twisted smile. She's not sure what to think about that. Being on the opposite team of Cody was fine, but she'd be pulling a prank? Her master taught her better than that.

AHSOKA
Come on! Let's go meet the others.

Ahsoka and McKayla approach Cody and Rex sitting on a bench talking. McKayla stares at all the other clones around her. She likes the blue color on their armor. It looks nice.

McKayla notices a clone sitting a ways away from Rex cleaning his blaster. She stares at his hair in a half-bun half-down hairstyle. His hair really enhances his jawline.

AHSOKA
(smugly)
That's Tup.

McKayla snaps out of her trance. A horrified expression crosses her face.

MCKAYLA
I didn't mean to-

AHSOKA
-It's okay. I won't tell anyone.

McKayla swallows all her nerves and tries to put on a non-embarrassed face as they approach Cody and Rex.

AHSOKA
Rex! This is McKayla!

Rex looks over at both of them and smiles at McKayla. He holds out a hand to shake hers. She accepts.

REX
Nice to meet you. Cody's been telling me about you.

McKayla blushes.

REX
(chuckles)
I can tell he's already adopted you as his little sister.

McKayla smiles and glares at Cody at the same time.

CODY
Rex here is the only one holding the 501st together.

Rex laughs and buries his head in his hands.

REX
That's not true.

Cody claps a hand onto Rex's back.

CODY
We all know it's true.

Two more clones walk over. One has a beaming smile on his face with the number 5 tattooed on his temple, and the other looks excited, but less expressive.

CODY
This is Fives and Echo. If there's trouble, it spawned from them. Boys, this is McKayla, General Kenobi's new Padawan.

McKayla smiles at the two of them. She yelps when Fives surrounds her in a hug a lifts her off the floor.

FIVES
(whispers)
Pulling a prank against Cody now.

He sets McKayla down, who now has a confused frown on her face.

ECHO
Fives gets excited about everything. Nice to meet you.

MCKAYLA
Nice to meet you, too.

ECHO
Commander, can we talk to you for a bit?

McKayla looks at Cody who looks at Ahsoka. Ahsoka assumes he meant her because he didn't look at anyone else.

Ahsoka walks off with Echo and Fives.

REX
They're up to no good.

MCKAYLA
So there's three commanders in this room?

REX
Cody, you're still commander?

CODY
Well, yes. We have two commanders now.

REX
(playfully)
You're not being demoted to Captain?

CODY
No, but we're still figuring out the details.

Ahsoka walks back over to McKayla.

AHSOKA
Gotta show her the rest of the ship. Bye, boys!

Ahsoka gives a lazy salute and walks off, McKayla trailing just behind her.

INT. RESOLUTE HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS

Ahsoka and McKayla walk into the hall to find Fives and Echo waiting for them. Fives perks up from leaning against the wall and Echo stands up straighter.

AHSOKA
The plan's already in motion.

MCKAYLA
What plan?

FIVES
(smirks)
We haven't seen Cody in a while. Looks like he needs a new paint job.

ECHO
He means we set up a bucket of yellow paint in his quarters.

MCKAYLA
I thought he shared a room with Rex while on the Resolute?

FIVES
He does. We'll keep Rex away and let Cody get dunked.

AHSOKA
(frowns)
You didn't put the paint in the 'fresher?

FIVES
Oh, we did. His skin is gonna turn yellow.

MCKAYLA
(amused)
He's going to hate that.

FIVES
Which is why it's so great.

McKayla smiles at him, thinking about their upcoming prank. She's already enjoying the 501st and their so-called "antics."
