INT. SPARRING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Jesse and Hardcase fight each other hand to hand as Kix, Tup, Dogma, Waxer, and Boil watch them, mostly talking amongst themselves rather than watching. Other troopers work out by lifting weights.

Fives and Echo barrel into the sparring room.

FIVES
HIDE US!

Echo desperately jumps into the circle Kix, Tup, Dogma, Waxer, and Boil are making and curls up into a ball on the floor.

Fives runs up to Jesse.

FIVES
Switch armor with me, quick.

JESSE
I'm not fighting with my bucket on.

FIVES
No time! Hardcase put your helmet on!

Jesse cautiously begins to unclip his armor. Fives bounces up and down, and after a few seconds, reaches forward to help Jesse move faster.

FIVES
Hurry up, hurry up, hurry up.

Fives and Jesse quickly rip off his armor as Hardcase helps Fives get out of his.

FIVES
Switch!

Jesse and Hardcase suit up Fives into Jesse's armor. Fives puts on Jesse's bucket.

FIVES
Put on my armor!

JESSE
No way I'm getting in trouble for what you did!

FIVES
Just put it on! It was more Echo's fault anyway.

Jesse gives Fives a look, but starts clipping on Fives' armor.

Over on the floor, Echo lies curled up in a ball. Tup sits on top of Echo as Waxer and Boil box him in from the sides. Dogma slides between Tup's legs to hide Echo's body. Kix sits across from them, shaking his head.

Just as Fives and Jesse finish suiting up, Cody runs into the sparring room with a towel wrapped around his waist and yellow goo dripping from his bare body, and goo clumping in his hair.

Hardcase pushes the real Jesse, who looks like Fives, to the back of the room.

HARDCASE
Get down!

Fives, looking like Jesse, begins to fight Hardcase as a cover up.

Cody screams his head off from the door, not even bothering to chase the Domino twins.

CODY
ECHO! FIVES! GET OVER HERE NOW!

Kix, his back facing Cody, can't help but let out a huge smile, staring at Echo.

Rex, Ahsoka, and McKayla crowd around Cody at the door.

AHSOKA
Did we miss anything?

HARDCASE
Nope!

Hardcase dodges a fake punch from Fives (in Jesse's armor).

Cody cautiously steps inside the sparring room, making his way over to the awkward pile of troopers in front of Hardcase and Fives. Ahsoka, Rex, and McKayla follow.

CODY
What's going on here?

WAXER
You've never seen a clone pile?

TUP
It's comfortable!

Cody glares at the troopers sitting on a weird lump. Ahsoka and McKayla take a seat next to Kix. Rex stands behind Cody looking highly amused.

CODY
Uh-huh. Sure. Get up.

They don't budge.

CODY
I order you to get up.

DOGMA
Sir, technically, you're not the highest ranking here, so we don't have to obey your orders.

AHSOKA
That's right. I order them to stay where they are.

Cody shoots daggers at Ahsoka with his eyes. She gleams at him. McKayla can't help but chuckle.

BOIL
Plus, how can we listen to you when you're dressed like that?

WAXER
He's not even dressed.

Everyone howls with laughter.

Cody takes a hand, wipes it on his chest, picking up a huge trail of what looks like yellow snot and rubs it across Waxer's face. He leans back in horror.

WAXER
Stop!

CODY
Then stop harboring a fugitive!

Cody takes another glop of goo and reaches for Tup's flowing locks of hair. Before Cody's hand reaches him, Tup yelps and falls backwards onto the floor, revealing a trembling Echo.

CODY
GET UP, ECHO!

Echo scrambles to his feet, keeping himself at an arm's distance. Cody dramatically waves his gooey hand around as he speaks.

CODY
What made you think this was a good idea!? Hm!? Did you really think you could get away with-

Cody lunges forward, enveloping Echo in a hug, and rubs his entire gooey body against Echo's armor. Cody takes a gooey hand and rubs it across Echo's face and up into his hair. The petrified Echo endures the whole encounter utterly speechless. Hardcase, Fives, and Jesse watch from the other side of the room, mouths hanging open inside their buckets.

HARDCASE
He's more savage than I thought.

Cody stands back, a satisfied smile on his face.

CODY
That's not even the worst of it. You'll be compensated fairly by the end of the night.

Cody walks around the terrified Echo and the group of slack-jawed clones, adjusting his towel.

CODY
FIVES!

The real Fives looks over at Jesse, who's wearing his armor.

Cody walks straight past the real Fives. Jesse, dressed as Fives quickly stands up from his crouch on the floor and removes his bucket, lifting his hands in surrender.

JESSE
I'm not Fives! Don't hurt me!

Fives bolts out of the sparring room before Cody even has a chance to turn around.

CODY
FIVES!

Cody storms out of the sparring room. Rex and Ahsoka take off after Cody, Ahsoka dragging McKayla out with them.

Echo stands in place, covered in goo. Tup reaches out a hand and hovers it over Echo's shoulder.

TUP
I would, but, you know...

Echo shivers out of disgust, several glops of goo hit the floor with a loud plop. Kix doubles over in laughter.

KIX
You deserve it, Echo.

ECHO
I WILL be studying up on better hiding places. I don't know how I didn't think to do what Fives did.

DOGMA
At least the worst is over.

KIX
(laughing)
Cody said the worst is coming later tonight!

Echo slaps his hands over his face and whines, goo pouring out around the sides of his hands.
