Tony felt a sudden pang in his heart as he sat at the table read listening to Shonda announce that this would be the last season of Scandal. Her voice becoming faint in the background as he began thinking of what this would mean for him..and Kerry. He was so used to seeing her daily on set while they were filming. Long days turned into long nights and they were always inseparable on set.
They would sit, eating their take out, late at night while waiting for their scenes. Playing pranks on the cast, their deep conversations, which he always throughly enjoyed, taking naps together on the sofa of the set of Olivia's apartment, that first kiss on the Oval Office set, it was just straight magic. That time when he had first confessed his feelings..the intense raw and natural chemistry between them that was a feeling experienced once in a lifetime..A million memories continued to race in his mind.
Tony felt such a wave of emotions. "Scandal" had been such a significant part of his life for years—it was where he grew closer to Kerry in so many ways and he had formed close bonds with the cast and crew, the character of Fitzgerald Thomas Grant III, "Fitz", had become a defining role in his career. Everywhere he went out in public he heard "Mr President!" But the best part was getting to work with Kerry. Though he knew every show had to end eventually, hearing it confirmed was bittersweet.
He felt Kerry's hand on his leg and he turned to look at her, where she was sitting next to him, her eyes almost filling with tears. She felt the same way he did. Fighting to hold them back, she cleared her throat and took a sip of water, clasping Tony's hand tighter as Shonda talked.
The table read was over and Tony was back in his trailer with a glass of scotch in his hand, when a knock sounded at the door. He knew that knock. He eagerly but anxiously opened the door and there stood Kerry. She walked in and sank down in the sofa where Tony had been sitting, finishing up the rest of his drink in one swoop. He joined her, putting his arm around her and pulling her into him. She laid her head on his chest and they had a one minute moment.
Kerry finally spoke. "I know the show couldn't last forever but I am feeling so many emotions right now. Tony squeezed her tighter. "Me too Ker.." his voice grew husky. Kerry looked up at him sadly. "I hate the thought of not seeing you every day."
Tony pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Me too but I'll always be here for you Kerry, and we will see each other often, though not as often as we would on set. You call and I'll come running!"
Kerry smiled up at him wistfully. "You always know just what to say to cheer me up. I wonder how Shonda will do the final scene…
"I dont know, but it will always be us in Vermont, making jam, regardless of how she directs that last scene!" Tony murmured a bit forcefully. "Olitz is endgame."
"Always!" Kerry leaned up to give Tony a kiss on the cheek. Tony turned her head towards his again, leaning in while pulling her closer, kissing her softly, his tongue sliding into her mouth as he pulled softly on her lip with his.
Kerry started crying quietly, their faces locked so close together there was no space in between. "I'm going to miss you so much!" She breathed. Tony pulled her even closer, "Baby, I will miss you more than you know, but we are locked in forever. You know that."
Tony wiped away her tears gently as she looked up at him with a sad but sensual look that only she could give. Climbing up into his lap she took his face in both hands and started kissing him like it was their last time. As their bodies literally melted into each other, clothes were discarded and Tony took a moment to stop and look at Kerry sitting on his lap, in all her beauty and it brought him nearly to tears. His fingers traced along her curves as he just looked at her with marvel.
"Kerry, you are the most phenomenal woman I've ever met..why didn't we meet sooner.." His voice smooth and baritone. "We did meet and that's all that matters", she whispered into his ear, gasping as he entered her. She was feeling so good she could barely concentrate on his continued whispers in her ear as she continued to ride him. "All those scenes, I wasn't acting!" He panted. "Every touch, every look from you sent shivers down my spine, sometimes I could hardly keep it together..that first time we locked eyes across the room..I'll never forget that moment!" He trailed off, groaning. "Your eyes, your lips, your soul, your body..you own me, you control me! I don't want this to be the last of us!"
"This isn't the last of us!" Kerry breathed into his head, her lip brushing against his ear slowly and sensually as they finished together and collapsed happily back on the sofa.
