Yu-Gi-Oh New Generation
Hey there guys.
Time to hit the fourth chapter in a row, this time, Alexia is gonna duel a man who is capable of using Synchro Summoning but don't worry, soon, there will be Ritual, Pendulum and Link Summoning but they will come soon or later.
All right let's a go.

Chapter 4: Dante, the Snake-eyed duelist
The three friends are walking towards Marshall's home as Paul had received a phone call from his friend, saying that Alexia's opponent has arrived at his home.
After a few minutes of walking, the three friends finally arrived at Marshall's home and they discover that the old master wasn't alone: a man wearing a red coat with tan-colored jeans and sporting military-style boots was talking with the mustached-man, when the two men heard footsteps, they turned their heads towards the source and they see the trio coming towards them.
"Ah, Alexia, I'm happy that you've came" said Marshall.
"Well, you've said that my opponent is here sensei, I wouldn't miss my duel for anything in the world" replied the sapphire-haired girl.
"Of course, Alexia, this is Dante Da Silva, one of the highest ranking duelists of Neo Domino City" presented the mustached-man to which Katie, who stood behind her friend, looked at the man and she felt enamoured by his charm.
"Oh! He's so cute!" squealed Katie as if she was in a cartoon, hearts would have spewed in her eyes as she was awe-struck by his majestic look.
"So you are Alexia? The student that the old man was talking about?" asked Dante to the sapphire-haired girl.
"Yup!" replied Alexia to which the silver-haired man brought his hand so that he could shook the sapphire-haired girl hand.
"Charmed to make your acquieantance" said the man to which a smile drew on Alexia's lips: was he trying to flirt with her? He seems to be a dashing young man, she still took his hand so that she could shook it.
"Likewise though I'm not planning to have a date with you Mr Dante" replied an amused Alexia.
"Please, call me just Dante, adding Mr make me look like a old man to which I'm isn't" said Dante as he let out a small laugh to which his enthuasiam and amusement caused the sapphire-haired girl to let out a small giggle, she liked that guy, he is funny.
"Yeah, you're right, nice to meet you Dante" said Alexia.
"Thanks, so the old coot said that I will be your opponent in order to test if you are becoming a better duelist, well, I'm not against a duel and I am sure that you will be a strong opponent, so I'm ready to rumble young lady" replied Dante to which Paul decided to intervene as when he heard the silver-haired man surname, he thought that he has heard it from somewhere else.
"Hold on, Dante Da Silva right?" asked the blond man to which Dante nodded "is the name Virgil Da Silva is affiliated with you?"
"Yeah, he's my brother why?" asked Dante.
"Uh, he's your brother, well, you don't look like the brother of a politician" replied Paul.
"Oh! Your brother is a politician?" asked Alexia.
"Yeah, I went into dueling, he went into politics, he believed that dueling should have been banned because he felt that the game was diminishing the intelligence of our youth but he didn't get that it was the only school that we have now!" teased Dante.
"But what I recalled from your brother is his destruction of several council estate that he blew up with C4 bombs" said the blond man to which his explanation caused the two girls to be shocked.
"WHAT?" cried out the two girls to which Dante let out a small amused laugh as he recalled what his brother did that day.
Flashback
"Ladies and Gentlemen, these estate councils have been abandoned by the people who ransacked them but no to worry, with my politics, these wastelands would be removed entirely with these nice little C4 packages"
Virgil put out numerous C4 packages on multiple council estates (he made sure that most of the inhabitants had evacuated the streets so that they wouldn't hurt by the explosion) and he immediately runs towards a hideout spot where he and his political supports could be in safety.
The politician pull out a detonator and after a few seconds of hesitation, he pressed the button.
BAOUM !
A massive explosion occurred destroying the entire councils estates sending numerous debris towards the group though thankfully nothing of heavy felled on them.
When the chaos stopped, the group gets up from their position and they looked with shock that the explosion had caused a small crater to appear on the site where the C4 package were placed, the group looked at the politician who adopted a small sheepish smile.
"Perhaps that four pounds of C4 may be a little..." started to say Virgil before a small piece of wood hit his head though it didn't hurt him, it caused his pause to become even more arkward that it was before "...excessive".
Flashback ends
"Wow, that much?" asked Alexia as she wasn't expecting that Dante's brother would have let out a powerful crater when he destroyed the council estates.
"Yeah, beside his no-nosense attitude, he is a huge fan of explosives, seriously, if he became the president of the world, I'm sure that the one terrorist who would try to attack him would have his guts splattered on the ground because he would blow him up in pieces with his bombs, maybe, he would blow up a few home too" explained Dante to which he realized that he got trailed off by his explanation "wait, what we were supposed to do again?"
"You were supposed to duel against each other in order to see if Alexia has become a better duelist that she was before" replied Marshall.
"Oh yeah, about that Marhsall, are you sure that we can't wait till tomorrow? I mean, Alexia just did a duel recently and I don't think that she is on top condition to duel anyone" said Paul but the sapphire-haired girl decided to intervene.
"Don't worry Paul, I'm gonna be fine, besides, this duel should still be occuring because it would be a shame that Dante made all this way only for his duel to be canceled on the spot right?" asked Alexia.
"Yeah, I'm ready to duel you girlie, hope you've brought your best cards because I won't go easy on you" replied the silver-haired man.
"All right, Alexia, it's time for you to prove to me that you have become stronger, since Paul said that you've managed to duel someone and I believe that you have won yes?" asked the mustached-man.
"Yeah!" chipped Alexia.
"Then this means that you can beat Dante in a duel but be careful, he has numerous trick up his sleeves but first of all Alexia, what did I tell about the gum?" asked Marshall to which Alexia recalled that she was still chewing the piece of gum that she has obtained during her duel against Tom Tomato, she took the gum off her mouth and she sees a nearby trash can that she threw "good, eating when you are dueling means that you are direspecting your opponent or that you are not taking the duel seriously which could come to bite you".
"Yes sensei!" said Alexia.
"All right, are you two ready?" asked the mustached-man.
"YES!" the two duelists replied as they both activated their duel disks.
LET'S DUEL!
(BGM: VS CPU – Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist of the Roses)
"All right, ladies first" replied Dante to which Alexia drew her sixth card.
"That's sweet from you but don't expect any mercy from me big guy!" teasefuly said the sapphire-haired girl.
"I would not expect any" snarked back the silver-haired man.
Alexia looked at her hand and she noticed that she could summon her beloved Blue-Eyes White Dragon, all that she need to do is to use multiple effects so that she could bring her strongest normal monster.
"All right, first off, I activate my Spell Card: Dragon Shrine" said Alexia as a card showing a bony temple appears on the field.
"And what does it do?" asked Dante.
"I can send one of my Dragon cards from my deck to my graveyard and if it was a Normal Dragon monster, I would have to send another card into my graveyard but I'll go easy on you on the first turn" replied Alexia as she discarded White Stone of Ancients into her graveyard.
"A risky move but it can work out if she has something at her disposal, Dante is not the kind of duelist that will be fooled by a move like this" thought Marshall as he looked the duel with interest.
"And I end my turn by setting two cards facedown and since I have declared the end of my turn, I can activate the effect of White Stone of Ancients" explained Alexia as a white colored stone appeared on the field or rather, an immaterial form of it "if I sent that card to my graveyard during that turn, I can special summon a Blue-Eyes monster from my deck and I summon my trusty "Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
The infamous dragon appeared on the field (A:3000/2500) and let out a powerful roar to which the silver-haired duelist looked at it with a smile.
"So this is the infamous Blue-Eyes White Dragon, guess that it is still powerful even today" remarked Dante "but since you've finished your turn, I guess that it is now mine, I draw!"

(BGM: Strange Sunset – Street Fighter EX)
Dante draw his sixth card.
"To start the show, I activate my field spell: Divine Temple of the Snake-Eye" said Dante as the field is transformed into a surreal world guarded by a monster with long black flowing tentacles "you see, once per turn, an effect that will allow me to search for a Snake-Eye monster and I can treat it like a continuous Spell Card if I put it onto my Spell & Trap Zone"
"Huh? I thought that only Spell and Trap cards can be put into that spot?" wondered the white-haired girl as she was watching the duel with Paul.
"There are certain kinds of monsters that can be summoned into the Spell and Trap zone, there are the Trap monsters like Embobidement of Apophis that allows you to summon a monster token or there are Union monsters that can serve, if their effects allows them to serve as Equip cards to monsters but that thing is a special case since his Field Spell allows him to summon monsters on that spot, this means that if Lex is unlucky, she can be facing 10 monsters at once" explained Paul.
"Wow, that much?" asked Katie to which Paul nodded his head to confirm her question.
"And one more thing Alexia, every Level 1 Fire monsters that I summon while that Spell card is active will gain an amount of 1100 Attack Points" explained Dante to which that sentence caused the sapphire-haired girl to be shocked.
"W-WHAT?"
"And I'll demonstrate it by activating its effect and bring Snake-Eye Ash to my Spell and Trap zone" declared the silver-haired man as he summoned a flammed six-winged bird that posed into his Spell and Trap Zone "I'm gonna end my turn yet since I'm gonna summon Snake-Eye Oak in Attack mode!"
A fire one-eyed golem appeared on the field and because of the Divine Temple effect, it gains 1100 Attack points (A:900-2000/D:200).
"It's not over yet, since I managed to normal summon Oak, I can use one of these two effects: either I target a Level 1 Fire monster that is banished or sent to the graveyard to bring it into my hand or special summon it or I can send 2 cards to which it will include Snake-Eye Oak into my graveyard so that I can summon another Snake-Eye into the field and that's why I'm gonna do so I sacrifice my two monsters so that I can summon another Snake-Eye Ash into my field".
The two monsters dissapear from the field and it let appears another Snake-Eye Ash but this time, it appears on his field (A:800-1900).
"And I don't plan to end my turn yet!" add Dante to which his situation caused Katie to groan.
"Oh come on, will he ever end his turn?" raged the white-haired girl.
"I activate my Spell card: One for One!" said Dante as a Spell card showing a monster ressembling a flower blooming from a mechanical plant "when this card is activated, I can special summon an Level 1 monster by discarding a monster from my hand to the graveyard".
Dante send one of his cards into his graveyard to which it allows him to search through his deck in order to obtain one of his monsters.
"With this card, I can special summon Snake-Eye Poplar on the field" add the silver haired man as he summon a small monster that ressembled a sort of underwater creature with a fiery aura all around it (700-1800) "when it is normal or special summoned, I can add another Snake-Eye Spell or Trap into my hand".
Dante adds the Spell Card: Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye.
"I activate my Spell card: Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye" said Dante as a Spell Card showing two fire monsters wreacking havoc on the field "if I sacrifice one of my face-up cards on my field, I can special summon one of my Level 1 Fire monsters from my hand or graveyard, thank a lot Snake-Eye Ash, with you, I can bring back my Snake-Eye Oak from my graveyard" said Dante as the Snake-Eye Ash dissapeared from the field and let Snake-Eye Oak appear on its place (A:900-2000) "but I can do something else too with Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye, if I remove the card from my graveyard, and that will allow me to special summon a Snake-Eye or a Diabellstar monster from my graveyard and the shining star will appear herself as I summon Diabellstar the Black Witch!"
A witch dressed in a black cloak and wielding a sword appeared on the field (A:2500/D:2000).
"Since I've managed to summon my Diabellstar through a special summon, I can take a Sinful Spoils card from my deck and I can set it on my field directly" replied the silver-haired man as he set a card on his field "I'll finish my turn by setting one card and I'll let you finish your turn".
A hologram of a card appeared on the field much to Katie's confusion.
"So, all that he did was playing all these cards and yet, he didn't attacked Alexia and he leaves his field exposed? What's wrong with this guy?" asked the white-haired girl.
"We'll have to be careful, maybe he is trying to bait Alexia into attacking him" thought Paul.

(BGM : vs CPU – Yu-Gi-Oh Duelists of the Roses)
Alexia drew her sixth card, indeed, she was curious on why Dante didn't summon a powerful monster to oppose her as all of his monsters are much more weaker than her Blue-Eyes White Dragon, was he testing her in order to see her firepower? Well, it seems that she has to go all out.
"All right Dante, I'll show you my strength, I activate Branded Fusion!" said Alexia as a vortex appeared above her "With this card, if I got 'Fallen of Albaz' in my hand, I can fusion summon a monster where I fuse Fallen of Albaz and Dogmatika Fleurdelis in order to summon Albion the Branded Dragon!"
Alexia trustworthy dragon appeared on the field (A:2500/D:2000).
"And when I manage to summon Albion on the field, I can summon another Fusion monster if I remove the Fusion materials from play if they are from my hand or my graveyard" explained the sapphire-haired girl, however, Dante let out a smirk.
"Oh, don't worry, you won't have to remove your monsters from play because I activate my trap card: Infinite Impermance!" replied the silver-haired man as a trap card showing a Cyber End Dragoon surronded by electricity is shown.
"And what does that card do?" asked Alexia.
"Well, with this, I can cancel a face-up monster effect so that means that you will have to stick with your two monsters" explained Dante to which Albion who was about to charge energy in order to summon another monster stood still, preventing the effect to occur.
"No, that's nasty!" whined Katie.
"Yeah, she could have One Turn Killed that guy" launched out Paul to which Katie was curious about the word.
"One Turn Killed?"
"A One Turn Kill or OTK is a terminology of Duel Monsters that allowed a duelist to one-shot a duelist in a single turn, if that trick would have worked, she could have won that duel in one strike" explained the blond man.
"You may have stopped Albion's effect but you are still in danger big guy, I attack Snake-Eye Oak with Blue-Eyes White Dragon, WHITE BURST OF DESTRUTION!" ordered Alexia to which Blue-Eyes let out a powerful white beam towards Snake-Eye Oak to which its destruction brought down Dante Life Points (Dante:3000).
"A minor setback, don't worry!" replied a smugged Dante to which the sapphire-haired girl decided to reply.
"We'll see about that, Albion didn't attacked yet so it'll will attack your Snake-Eye Poplar, time to hit it with your Darkness Blast!" ordered Alexia as Albion launched out a powerful dark blast that strike the Snake-Eye monster removing most of Dante's life points (Dante:2300).
"Another minor setback" repeated Dante to which his words annoyed the sapphire-haired girl, who does he think he is? He made a pitful move and he thought that was just a minor setback? The nerve on this guy.
"I'll end my turn, we shall see if you will have another 'minor setback'" challenged Alexia to which Dante decided to reply by drawing a card.

"Time for some payback I guess, looks like that my Snake-Eye Ash who was waiting on my Spell/Trap zone wants to play, thanks to the Snake-Eye Temple, I can summon a Snake-Eye monster on the Spell/Trap zone on the field and that's what I'm gonna do" replied Dante as he removed Snake-Eye Ash from the Spell/Trap zone and summoned it in Attack mode (A:800-1900).
"Yeah, you planned to expose your field just like last time Dante?" teased the sapphire-haired girl.
"Nothing at all Alexia because I planned to summon Junk Synchron in Attack mode!" said the silver-haired man as a sort of jet turbine appears on the field (A:500-1600/D:0) "and now that he has hit the scene, it is time to launch out a Synchro Summon!"
"Huh? Synchro Summon?" asked Alexia.

"Goddamn, so that's why Marshall brought him here, he is capable of Synchro Summoning!" realized Paul.
"What is Synchro Summoning Paul?" asked Katie.
"A Synchro Summoning is a method of Special Summoning that involved a Tuner monster and other monsters, you see, that Junk Synchron is a Tuner monster, since he is on the field, Dante can use it on his Synchro Summoning so that he could summon a Synchro Monster, all that he need to do is to calculate the amount of levels of his two monsters as their combined numbers will allow him to summon a Synchro monster" explained Paul.
"Oh, I hope that this monster won't be too strong enough" hoped Katie as she crossed her fingers behind her back.
"Strong rose! Appear on the field and destroy those who plans to strike thee down! Synchro Summon! Level 10!" chanted the silver-haired man as he used Junk Synchron and Diabellstar so that they could fuse together creating a sort of rose monster riding a golden-white horse "Baronne de Fleur!"
The monster eventually arrived on the field (A:3000/D:2400).

"Wow, I never thought that I will see such monster in my life" said Alexia as she eyed the monster that was in front of her.
"That's the power of the Synchro Summoning, with it, I can create the most powerful monsters that I want, and Baronne de Fleur is one of them!" explained Dante as he prepared himself to launch an attack "Chère Baronne, strike Blue-Eyes White Dragon down with your lance de fleur!"
"Huh? Why do you attack my Blue-Eyes White Dragon with your monster? They have the same amount of Attack Points!" replied the sapphire-haired girl as Baronne de Fleur charged a spear and it throws it at Blue-Eyes White Dragon who was automatically destroyed much to the girl's shock.
"I've never said that I have activated my Battle Phase, you see, once per turn, I can ask Baronne de Fleur to destroy a face-up monster that is on the field, since your Blue-Eyes White Dragon is on the field, I thought that I should destroy it because I attempt an attack don't you think?" asked Dante.
"That's...pretty smart!" replied Alexia who didn't expected that effect.
"Thanks babe! Now, it's time to deplete a bit of your life points, now, it is my Battle Phase, Baronne de Fleur, use your Epée Angélique!" ordered the silver-haired man as Baronne de Fleur charged her blade and she rushed towards Albion in order to destroy it.
However, the sapphire-haired girl had a backup plan for this.
"Nice try Dante but you forgot my facedown cards, I activate Dogmatika Punishement!" said Alexia as she revealed her facedown card "If I send a monster that has the same amount of Attack points than your monster from my Extra Deck to the graveyard, I can destroy your monster"
The sapphire-haired girl threw Mirrorjade the Iceborn Dragon from her Extra-Deck to the Graveyard so that it could create a powerful barrier that prevents Baronne de Fleur to destroy Albion but Dante smiled, unfazed by the outcome.
"Nicely done but my Baronne de Fleur can counter this, you see, if a effect is activated, I can negate it and I can destroy the card that was activated, therefore, my Baronne de Fleur will stay on the field!" explained Dante.
"No, Alexia!" cried out the white-haired girl as she was scared for her friend.
"Not a chance Dante, I don't plan to sit idle and watch my monsters being destroyed, I activate this: Skill Drain!" replied Alexia as a trap card showing the image of Hades suffering is shown.

(BGM : Guilty Love – Ace Attorney Apollo Justice)
"What the hell? Skill Drain? But that means?" realized the silver-haired man.
"Yeah, if I accept to pay 1000 Life Points I can cancel the effects of all the monsters on the field as long as the card remains face-up on the field" replied Alexia as her life points goes down (Alexia:3000) and Baronne de Fleur's effect begin to cancel to which the effect of Dogmatika Punishement returned, destroying the powerful Synchro monster.
"YEAH, ROCK N ROLL BABY! Nice one Lex!" cheered Paul.
"Nice move Alexia, you may have won the duel with that beautiful display!" thought Marshall as he was impressed on how his student has grown into a powerful duelist.
"Uh, well, I guess that I will end my turn here Alexia" replied Dante as he was almost as a loss for words.
"Then don't mind if I take my turn here!" said Alexia as she drew a new card, when she looked at the card, a smile drew on her face "I activate my Spell Card: Ultimate Fusion!"
A Spell Card showing a white bright fusion appears.
"And what does that do?" asked Dante.
"You see, I can summon a fusion monster but it has to have the Blue-Eyes White Dragon as a fusion material, I can pick them from my hand, graveyard or my field, with this, I will put them into my deck so that I could summon a Fusion monster" explained the sapphire-haired girl as she took her Blue-Eyes from her hand and the graveyard so that they could fuse together "with this, I can summon Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon!"
Alexia's strongest monster appeared on the field (A:3400/D:2900).
"All right, the duel all over now!" cheered the blond man.
"And do know Dante that if I manage to summon a monster with Ultimate Fusion, it's effect allowed me to destroy many monsters that I used of Blue-Eyes White Dragon fusion materials and since I have used two of them, I can destroy all of your field since only Snake-Eye Ash is on your field" explained the sapphire-haired girl to which her explanation horrifies Dante.
"Wait, what?" said an horrified Dante.
Ultimate Fusion let out a powerful white explosion that wiped out the Snake-Eye monster of the field, leaving the silver-haired man exposed.
"LET'S GO! Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon! WHITE STREAM OF DESTRUCTIVE LIGHT!" ordered Alexia as the monster let out a powerful white blast that hit Dante directly sending him flying into the air to which he finally crashed on the ground.
Alexia wins (3000-0)

"YEAH! You did it Alexia!" cheered Katie.
Alexia smiled at her friend, happy that she has succeeded in defeating her opponent who threw a small tantrum.
"Oh man! I lost!" whined Dante as he was dissapointed to have lost but when he saw that the sapphire-haired girl offered her hand so that he could get up, he accepted the gesture and he took her hand "gotta say, you're pretty good Alexia".
"Thank you Dante, I admitted that you kept me on my toes with your dueling" said Alexia.
"Yeah, I liked our duel Alexia and I am proud to have fought you" replied the silver-haired man.
"Me too" thanked the sapphire-haired girl to which Paul and Katie approached the two and they give out their congratulations for the duel while Marhsall looked at them.
"Well, your training has paid off Alexia, sure, Dante has the bad habit of rushing caressely on his duels but you've remained calm and you've managed to beat a pro duelist, I am proud of you, young girl" thought the old master as a subtle smile appeared on his lips as he was proud that his student has succeeded in defeating Dante who was much more stronger than Paul.
Now, he can rest peacefully, Alexia will show the strengh of the Fusion summoning through her duels, he has taught her everything that he could.
And there is it, the duel between Alexia and Dante has been done.
In the next chapter, the true first arc will be taking place as Alexia will try to have her revenge against Cronos but in order to do that, she will have to enter a dueling tournament.
