Loud House fanfic chp 7

(Music- Mario & Luigi Dream Team- Challenging Action)

Vergil and Lynn stood next to some training equipment, as they got ready to show off their skills when it came to training although to Vergil this isn't what he considered training as he stared at the equipment in front of him, " so Vergil were gonna see which one of us can train the hardest, first one to quit loses", Lynn said as she pumped up herself, Vergil could sense the adrenaline in her as he thought about how he was going to go about this, " alright Lynn but you're going to have to guide me through some of this….equipment" Vergil said as he walked toward the first equipment that they were going to use that being the treadmill, " yeah, sure but that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you" she replies as she got on her treadmill, Vergil acknowledged her words and proceeded to do the same.

"Alright, you ready Vergil!", Lynn said eagerly, "as I'll ever be ", he replied as he looks down at the tread and saw an array of buttons of different shapes and sizes, none of which Vergil could tell heads from tails from, "uhh… Lynn, how do I turn this on?", he said puzzled, " the big red button on the left", she replied, Vergil looked to his left and the button Lynn referred to, " Alright Vergil, on count of 3 we press the red button, when you want to go faster press the arrow button pointing up, ok". Lynn explained to Vergil as he located the increase button, "ok", he replied as how waited for Lynn to start the count down, "well this is either gonna be something interesting or a complete disaster", Lola said as she and her siblings watched the competition in front of them, especially Lisa as she was dotting down notes she secretly pulled out a small device from her pocket and put it in a place where no one could see, the device had a small screen on it displaying numbers, increasing and decreasing at a rapid rate, Lisa patiently waited for the results.

"Ok Vergil, 3, 2, 1! ", Lynn shouted as both she and Vergil pressed the red button on their treadmills, Vergil felt himself moving backwards as the treadmill started, he then started to counter act this by running against it.

Lynn saw this, not wanting to lose to Vergil she decided to increase the speed on her treadmill, her body reacted to the change in speed as she pushed herself to keep up with it, Vergil also decided to increase his speed as he felt himself getting bored of his current speed but to his disappointment it didn't require him much effort, as the running went on the changing of speed keep going until they both hit the maximum speed the treadmill could meet. Lynn at this point was really pushing it, her legs were moving like pistons on a moving train, her heart pounding insider like a drum solo, Lynn took a quick glance at Vergil to see how he was doing and the sight almost made here trip and fall, as Vergil was keeping up with her but thing that threw her off was that there was no sign of sweat or fatigue on his it was almost as if he wasn't running despite him clearly doing it.

Lynn wasn't the only one to notice this as the Loud sisters saw this too and were equally baffled, "Hey like I'm no sports person but like aren't you suppose to sweat when you run that fast? "Leni questioned, "Dudes Leni's right, Vergil doesn't look like he even tired compared to Lynn", Luna said, "Woah, I guess he rarely broke a sweat then, get it", Luan punned which was promptly followed by a groan from the rest of the siblings, during this Lisa looked at her small device and was shocked to see the numbers increasing at a faster pace than before, in response dotted down more notes in her note book.

Vergil was running against the treadmill, not really feeling anything, to him this wasn't really a challenge, heck if he had more magic on him, he would even need to use it, in light of this Vergil turned his head to see how Lynn was doing and what he saw caught him off guard as Lynn looked like she was about to blow a gasket, she was sweat profusely and her breathes were deep and hard but despite it all she was keeping up with Vergil, " Woah, Lynn doesn't look so good", Vergil thought to himself, as he stared at Lynn's condition," Ah Lynn, are you ok ?", Vergil said with concern, " I'm fine, just getting my second wind", she replied, "More like dying gasp from where I'm standing", Vergil thought, " You sure, we can stop if you want, don't we have other equipment to uses?", he said as Lynn kept going " No!, I can do this, I can….", Lynn moment was cut off, as she tripped and fell on the treadmill causing her to be sent backwards on to the ground, everyone gasped as they saw this, they immediately got up and ran to her, "Hey Lynn are you ok?", Vergil said with concern as he bent down to check on her as the rest of the siblings went to help her up, Lynn groaned as she was helped up by her siblings.

"Dude, I think you pushed yourself too far", Luna said as she held Lynn up, "Yeah like you were totally sent flying", Leni said, "How?", Lynn said as she brushed herself up," Well like you slid off the treadmill", Leni answered," No, not that" Lynn corrected, "How are you not tired?", Lynn questioned as she walked towards Vergil, Vergil started to feel a bit nervous as she approached, " Uhh… It like I said Lynn I do a lot of training at home so I'm used to it", Vergil explained hoping Lynn would buy it. "No way, we were running at max speed and you weren't even breaking a sweat", Lynn said with vigour causing Vergil to tense up as he didn't know what to do, "Uhh, I don't know what say Lynn", he said as he realised that while he kept what little magic, he had low, he completely forgot about his biological traits, things that were more or less out of his control.

Lynn brushed off her sibling's hands started to walk closer to Vergil, as she was about to say something but was interrupted by a voice coming from the house, "Hello, anyone there?", the voice said, the Loud siblings turned their head to the noise," Oh, that must be Lincoln and Lana", Leni said as she grabbed Vergil's arm, "You like totally, should meet them", she said as she dragged him to the house, all the sisters followed suit but Lynn was staring at Vergil with such strength that he feel her on the back of his head, "This is'nt over, not by a long shot", Lynn thought as she followed her sisters as she began to think of ways to prove herself, no matter.
