Chapter 18: DNA and Demon Attack

Five days pass after Yuki and Yuno get information on the eleventh Holder, look it over, compare the data, and find the Holder's identity using Yuki's father. During the first three days, Yuki trains with Ace, Akame, Green, and Kagura to get a little stronger.

Minene was avoiding Fairy Tail and the other wizards due to complications with her feelings. Though, she was determined to win the game and eliminate the eleventh holder.

Akise and Nishijima continued investigating the third corpse. One day, Akise managed to find the address of the orphanage where Yuno was adopted and planned to visit there soon.

Brron had a conversation with the three remaining demons, Torafuzar, Jackal, and Rugoro along with the android Machias Andrew about their plan to target Holder.

7/13 8:30 At Fairy Tail's rental apartment

Fairy Tail and their allies were preparing for the next battle when the demons, though, Minerva had only able to record data energy from Torafuzar using her Diary. They were talking through their communication lacrimas.

"Minerva, did you find out when Torafuzar will attack?" Gajeel questioned.

"Yes, apparently, it says in this entry "Torafuzar attacks eight's children on the 16th. Yuki and Yuno will try to escape only to be confronted by another demon". The territory mage held up her phone.

"Another demon will attack, this means Torafuzar won't be alone," Rogue stated.

Lector put his paw on his chin. "Yeah, things will get complicated."

"I think so too."

"To make things hard, my team and I have to escort some citizens out of the city that are still here," Gajeel reminded.

Lily nodded. "Yeah, for now, we should assemble three teams to look after Yuki and Yuno including those allies of his."

Yukino took out a sheet of paper. "Already ahead of you guys. The first team will be led by me along with Wendy, Carla, Chelia, and Kagura." The other girls nodded their heads as the other celestial wizard looked back at the paper. "As for the second team, Sting, Lector, Minerva, Ace, and Leone will check out what base 11th hangs out in."

"The third team will be led by Akame and those that'll be with her are Green, Rogue, Frosch, Hibiki, and Jenny. All you five will keep on Minene and see what she's up to." Yukino concluded.

"Good choice, in three teams having one dragon slayer, we should be able to find our ally's scent. Perdictically, Yuki, Minene, and Akise." Wendy stated.

Carla had a question about the new plan. "I was thinking..." Her face appeared on the lacrima. "I've been wondering if Yuki's parents will be in danger." Everyone looked on edge when the white exceed said those words. "As you all know, eleventh was using Yuki's father to eliminate his cell phone, so, I wonder if Eleventh will be sending any men to assassinate them."

Gajeel had an answer to that. "Nishijima was prepared for that and like I mentioned, my team and I will be escorting the citizens including Yuki's parents out of the city."

Lily nodded. "Yes, with us, we'll be able to get the citizens to safety."

Levy had one last thing to report. "One more thing. I have a question for Sting's team, you guys will be going to find Minene and ask for a favor. Regards, the gateway and who is in charge of the Cathedral of Casulity."

9:00 AM

Yukiteru was preparing to get dressed and his weapons packed. He got a text from DEUS. "Looks like the old man is preparing one meeting later in the afternoon." He then noticed the picture of him and Yuno at the wedding rehearsal. "Yuno...I hope we can spend time together." He felt a tender smile form on his face red hue appearing on his cheeks.

Yuno was walking down the street. "Yuki..." She had a letter from Yuki. "He wants us to stay at a motel together." She felt her heart beat so fast more than it ever did pink hues appearing on her cheeks. "Hopefully, we'll get to spend some time together." She looked at the sky and images of her wizard friends appeared. "Fairy Tail...Sabertooth...Blue Pegasus...Mermaid Heel, and Lamia Scale." She smiled happily for the first time in her life and hoped that it would last until then.

Minene was walking through the street in a cloak. "To think the final battle will be here." She thought as she looked around. "Some people are leaving the city already while others will be escorted outside the city to a safe zone." She then saw two parents and a daughter. "Mommy, are we going to be okay?" The mother hugged her child. "There, there, we'll be fine." The father pats the girl on the head in comfort. "That's right, we'll be just fine." The terrorist froze as she remembered her parents doing the same comforting whenever she was afraid. "Mom...dad..." Wendy, Chelia, and Carla's words echoed in her mind.

"No child deserves to be sick like Keigo's son was. Regardless, Wendy wanted to help her even though I was against it but, when it comes to helping someone, Wendy is too stubborn to listen."

"When it comes to the bond between a parent and a child, I have a soft spot.

"Keigo loved his son and thought he was doing the right thing, but he wasn't and later felt remorse for what his actions."

Minene closed her eyes twitching them as she couldn't stop thinking about what the three girls said to her. "Sometimes people do stupid things because of fear, desperation, and ignorance. In the end, Keigo was just a worried parent who wanted his son to live." She growled deeply. "Why am I can't I stop thinking about this crap?" Her outburst got the two parents and their daughter to stare at her. Luckily, her cloak's hood stands on without falling back. "Sorry..." She speed walked away without the family able to see her face. "Damn, are those fairies goodie-two shoes getting to me?"

Four hours later

1:55 PM Sakurami City Hall

In a conference room, almost every employee was there.

"Greetings gentlemen!" There was a middle-aged bespectacled gentleman dressed in fine clothes and wearing a hat resembling a Jewish kippah.

"Now, this meeting is to discuss about demolishing the orphanage known as "Mother's Home"." The mayor announced.

An employee abruptly stood from his seat making a thud when his hand slammed the desk."Mr. Mayor, demolishing the orphanage would cause political mayhem! If we force the children onto the streets, the media will rip us a new one!"

John put his hands together. "Of course, I completely agree..." He was silent for a minute until crocodile tears were pouring down his cheeks. "When I think of those children being torn from the place they call home...it's so heartbreaking!" He wiped his tears with a tissue. "However... as you know, we suspect that this orphanage has sheltered the culprits behind the "Tower Destruction incident"."

"Say what?" The employee asked.

"Such criminal activity occurs from that place, it should be taken down at once!" The mayor continued.

"You can't prove that!" The employee argued.

"Then what, wait for another incident to occur and let more blood be spilled!" The mayor's tears kept pouring like a sob sister. "To make things more safe, the children will be moved temporarily to a hospital. As for those that have any other say in the matter, feel free to speak now, if not, then those that are with me stand up."

Seeing the situation and the incident that occurred all the employees stood up. "The majority decides! The orphanage known as Mother's House will be demolished. Affective immediately!"

9:35 AM Children's Home: Mother's Home

Kamada Ueshiba

Age: 30's-40's

Future Diary Holder: 8th

Director of the Mother's Village orphanage.

The portly woman was outside the building talking to someone on the cell phone. "What?" She asked shockingly but a hint of anger in her tone. "The orphanage will be closed down!" She held the phone close to her ear looking angry and distressed. "What is the reason...no...I can be assured my children had nothing to do...wait, how can you prove that!?" The caller began to talk to the woman and her eyes widened. "No...Marco and Ai couldn't be...please, I can assure you they left the city for their marriage!

The caller replied to the director as her eyes watered with sadness. "No, their bodies were found...that doesn't prove...no...please...fine then, I'll get my lawyer involved in this crap!" She quickly hung up looking powerless. "Damn it, even if we manage to win the next battle, my children will surely get exhausted from fighting and starvation..." She had one more thought in the back of her mind.

Kamada was having a chat with a half-conscious DEUS. "DEUS, the game is coming to a close with Ai and Marco gone."

"Yes, only ones left are first, second, sixth, eleventh, and you," DEUS replied putting his claws-like hands together. "Not to mention the demons are probably to make their move too so all of the Holders will be fighting for survival. I will wish you luck on your journey, that is if the demons catch you first before the other keepers do."

"Wait..." Kamada called out. "I need to know one thing, say that I win and I grant the power of God, what powers will I gain?"

"The powers will give you unmatched strength and control time and space," DEUS stated. "Everyone should be aware of that, but, one thing is that the dead can't be brought back, their bodies can be returned, but their souls will be not. Not to mention my powers are weakened since my time is at its course."

Suddenly she felt her Diary vibrate. "Looks like DEUS wants to have a meeting."

16:00 38 Causality Cathedral

The competitors, sixth, ninth, eighth, and eleventh were present at the cathedral.

"So, you're giving first and second heave-ho?" Minene asked the giant Machina.

"There hasn't been no sign of them or their friends," Eleventh Holder answered. "On top of that, DEUS hasn't much time left, the more the clock ticks, the less time the game will be around. It would be safe to exclude them from our plans."

"What about their friends, they aren't competitors though," Minene reminded.

John just smirked. "I couldn't care less of what those bastards are doing. Right now, first and second haven't been seen since, so, we can assume they quit."

DEUS couldn't deny that 11th's words were truthful. "Correct, such stalling breaks the spirit of the game."

Muru Muru had her thoughts. "Guess that helps me, though, Fairy Tail will be busy with the demons and the Machias, they fail to realize my true plan."

Tsubaki was eyeing the bald man. "I wonder if Yuki and Yuno are missing because they're busy trying to figure out the identity of the eleventh. I would imagine so."

Minene was gazing at the eleventh suspiciously. "According to Nishjima's information, Yuki's father was able to get some dirt on the identity of 11th. However, they didn't inform, instead, Akise gave that info to Yuki. I wonder what he's plotting this time." She wondered putting her finger to her chin. "Wait, are those two..."

DEUS stood from his chair putting his left arm out. "In light of these facts I have no choice but to remove from them-"

"Hold it!" Yukiteru and Yuno arrived from the portal wearing different attires. "Sorry to keep you waiting 11th or should I say...Major of Sakurami!"

Everyone let out a small gasp taken by surprise. "Thanks to some useful information, I was able to gather some dirt for the past few days."

"Hah...it seems the identities of the players have come to light," DEUS stated as he swung his left arm above. "So, the rule to hide your appearances will no longer apply!"

Yukiteru and Yuno gave one last kiss before going to their places. "I might not have the intention to become a God. Right now, my friends and I were fighting against the demons and their machias friends from causing destruction. Not to mention they'll be coming after us since we're actual Future Diary Holders."

Yuno giggled cutely. "He's right, so far, those monsters got their hands on fifth, fourth, and tenth. Fairy Tail is trying to figure out their intentions are, so far, nothing."

Minene smirked. "So, we're likely their targets. Well, those bastards will regret trying to get their demon claws on me."

Kamada was uneasy about these demons and worried for her children.

"Anyway, how did you figure out my identity?" John asked. "Where did you get the information to look for me?"

"First off, I think you know where the information came from," Yukiteru replied with a badass look. "Second, the information gave some clues, but, I had to be sure, so, I came to the city hall sitting in the hall. My Diary takes note of everything around me and city hall is a pretty happening place. I gathered a vast amount of future information while zoning out on a chair."

John just stared at the teenage boy. "Right before the vote was held to shut down the orphanage, you gave a speech to the other big waves. In other words, you guilt trip them to make sure the vote would be in your favor!" Hearing that got Kamada's attention.

A short time later

Yuno and Yukiteru were at their motel in the living room. "How was I, did I sound like a badass?"

Yuno smiled in admiration. "You bet, you were like someone from a movie!" She beamed.

Yukiteru held up a few papers. "Thank you, it's all because of you." His stalker was speechless and her face was beet red as she turned her face away. "I-I just...did to help you. Besides, it's not like we've overcome 11th's objective yet." Yukiteru looked at her confused. "Objective...what do you mean?"

Yuno held a bag in her lap. "Mostly likely, 11th's objective was to steal 8th's multiplication Diary." This surprised Yukiteru. "What?" His face became flushed when he saw Yuno take off her outfit revealing her bra and panties, though he covered his eyes quickly before she saw her half-naked body. "I researched it and seems that Mother's home expenses came from the city. That of course includes the server's maintenance fees. If you demolish Mother's home all the facilities would come back to the city, right?' She put a pajama shirt on covering her body. "For what reason, he intends to increase his subordinates."

"Yeah, but, that won't matter if the demons are going to target her, no doubt, the remaining ones will come after us too," Yuki added.

Yuno had her cell phone out. "Yes, that's why I'm making a call to the fairies to give us a hand, there will be two groups, though, one will meet us up with 8th and her children to ally." Yuki was happy to hear that but he felt unsure about something. "Well, I'm sure they could talk to them better than I can, I mean I have friends like them, but..."

Yuno crawled over to her crush and pounced on him lying on top of him. "Don't be so negative, after all. They did give you some encouragement to save me from that demon reptile and android pervert. On top of that, I owe them for doing so." Yukiter was still surprised to see how Yuno was able to open up to their new friends. "I still can't believe you warmed up to them so much."

Yuno giggled. "As I said, I owe them, that, they seemingly opened my eyes to what friendship is. Anyway, once the battle calms down, what do you say we spend time at my household?" Yukiteru was a little nervous about that request, but, he had admitted that DEUS's time was coming to a close. "I'll think about it and maybe...I can take you stargazing too." Yuno was delighted to hear that as she hugged her crush tightly. Yuki turned on his left side placing his left hand on top of his stalker's head and patting her gently. "Yuno...Gasai."

"She's right, I must be strong for them and Yuno..." Yukiteru thought as images of his parents came to his mind. "Mom...Dad...please be safe."

The next day

7/14 12:00 A certain Terrance Cafe in Sakuramishi

Minene was there information Nishijima of the last meeting? "What did you say?"

"You heard me officer, 11th is John Bacchus, the mayor of Sakurami. Not only that, first and second claim that the demons will target them including every Holder competing in the Survival Game." Minene replied with a squirrel chewing on a nut. "We're targets for these monsters."

"When do the demons plan to attack?" Nishjima asked worriedly.

"Not sure, but, first and second mentioned that demons and the robot that kidnapped Yuno aren't pushovers. So, the city will be likely in danger, so, you should have a few officers help get the people out of this place considering it'll become a warzone."

Nishjima turned his head away which ninth noticed. "What is wrong with you?" The inspector turned his head looking uncertain. "I just got off with the police chief, I'm on duty to guard the mayor."

Minene smirked amusingly. "Pwah! Some bad fucking luck, who side will you be on when shit hits the fan?" Nishjima wasn't amused in the slightest. "This is no laughing matter, so spare me the snarky comment!"

"Well, excuse me for my insolence, so, do you have any dirt on second or do I have to work on that again?" Minene asked sarcastically.

Nishijima took out two profile papers including two photos. "About that, the identification results for the third body haven't come yet, but, for now, the two bodies are confirmed to be the father Ushio Gasai, and the mother Saika Gasai." He placed the photos on the table including the skeleton corpses. "They're both elite bankers and hoping to make a fortune." The inspector sat down in the chair. "On top of that, I heard they became so strained when their money was starting to lack that the mother took out her frustrations on Yuno."

Minene was stunned upon hearing that. "Hold on, second's mother abused her daughter, how did you come with that?"

"Akise had a police officer disguised as a receptionist at the spa that Yuno went to with the female wizards," Nishijima replied.

Minene gave the officer a stern look. "So, you had the officer spy on the girls like peeping tom." The inspector cringed at that accusation. "Of course not, that the receptionist was a female." He regained his composure. "Anyway, I learned that the Gasai couldn't have children of their own, so, they adopted Yuno."

"The news keeps coming," Minene commented taking a sip of her coffee. "What about the third corpse?"

"Akise had an idea, so he's heading off to the orphanage with Tsubaki," Nishjima replied. "Just to gather more evidence."

Muru Muru was having a chat with the demons in the unknown realm

"So, Kamada has formed an alliance with the human Yuki and Yuno, right?" Brron asked.

Jackal smirked evilly. "Well, who gets to hunt down the fat holder?"

"That would be Rugoro and Torafuzar," Muru Muru answered. "At least for now, knowing you would just play around and that could give them the chance to escape." Jackal glared at the small muchkin creature.

"I agree, Jackal's stupid playing caused his life last time on Earthland," Torafuzar remarked snarkily.

Rugoro didn't care who he was facing at least for now. "I don't care as long as I can get some answers from those fairy scumbags on who defeated Master Ezel."

"Actually..." Brron began to say. "Perhaps, Jackal should go, I mean humanity has a twist and turns, so, we should let Jackal go, you'll be following first and second, once the Holders are gathered in one spot, you can have your fun."

Jackal's smirk returned to his face. "Excellent..."

"I hope to get to see Yuno Gasai..." Andrew muttered a little pouty.

On a country road.

Yuno was lying on her stomach looking for John who would be riding in a vehicle to pass through the area. "Yuno will give us the signal to take down 11th, as for Wendy's group, they'll be here in a few minutes."

Taro was unsure about this though. "Oi, first, if you or second try anything funny..."

"You will kill us, I can ensure that we won't, that, the demons will surely attack and according to what I learned from Minerva, two demons will attack this location," Yukiteru informed.

"I'm aware of your father was working for 11th, but, he's safe and sound," Kamada said getting the first holder's attention. "I admit, your father was lucky. Also, you might not know this, but, I was the one that convinced DEUS to give your friends their appreciate Diaries."

Yukiteru's eyebrow rose in surprise. "I see...and..."

"Well, DEUS heard that some visitors were coming so he kept me updated, so, once they arrived and got their cell phones, he had a conversation with me in private before he decided to give their abilities." Kamanda continued. "I was quite surprised when we had new visitors in the city, but, I couldn't refuse the guy since he was intrigued by your new friends."

Yukiteru smiled a little. "Let's confirm the plan, according to the union those known as 1st, 2nd, and 8th will assault the 11th plan. First, I, Yukiteru calculate the timing for stopping 11th's movements with m 'indifference Diary'...and kill the vanguards who lay down tear gas."

A small girl approached the first holder. "Myashiro Rin will watch for all the children with her Orphanage Diary. If the demons do show up she'll lead the other children to safety while Wendy's group handles the monsters." He looked at Taro, who held his apprentice Diary. "You, Taro will be guarding 8th and keep an eye on me. Your Diary is the Copy Diary. Capable to copy Yuno's and have the same abilities as Yukiteru Diary..."

"Guys, our allies have arrived," Yuno announced.

Wendy, Yukino, Chelia, and Carla arrived greeting Yuki. The first holder explained the plan. "Alright, we'll keep an eye out for the demons, no doubt, they'll be here soon rather than later," Wendy spoke.

"Yeah, once we sense them, run for it while my group and I hold them off" Carla added.

The Diary Holders nodded.

"Time for a snack..." Rin was holding two a plate of rice cakes as Yukiteru looked at them hesitantly.

"Don't worry, they aren't poisonous," Wendy confirmed before Rin could speak.

"Wow, your nose's scent of smell is stronger than I thought," Rin said impressively.

Yukiteru ate one. "So good."

Kaguar was eating one too and her face faintly blushed. "So good." She thought as she looked at Rin and saw how cute she was. "So cute...I want another little sister."

Carla ate one. "Wow, it's good." Wendy and Chelia giggled while having yummy child expressions on her face. "I bet Chopper and Erza would love these, so, would Akame."

"That's for sure."

Yukino took a rice cake and had a question. "Rin, what motive does Ms. Kamada have to compete in the Survival Game." Rin sat down on a rock. "The 8th has no intention of becoming a God, not ever."

Wendy was intrigued. "Really, what about you and the other orphans, I know you guys are Apprentice Diaries, but..." Rin giggled softly. "We intend to help her become a God, despite her intention not to, but, if she wins we believe she can create a peaceful world. Honestly, we owe her a lot for taking us in since some of us were abandoned by our parents."

Chelia felt sorry for the girl and the orphans. "I'm sorry about what your parents did." Rin was surprised to get sympathy from the Allies. "Unlike your parents, mine and my cousins were murdered by a demon Deliora." She showed her guildmark. "As you can see I'm a member of Lamia Scale, a legal wizard guild and is friends with the Fairy Tail guild which is where Wendy and Carla are from."

Rin was more intrigued than ever. "Lamia Scale...Fairy Tail...sounds like your guilds are amazing." The two sky sisters were happy to hear that comment. "Thank you, we can tell that your mother Kamada is like our own guild masters. Both have unique personalities, but, they love their guild members as if they were their children. Honestly, your mother would make an excellent wizard, rather than a guild master she decided to open up her guild." Rin had to admit that did sound exciting.

Taro was listening to this. "These wizards seem so heartwarming...reminds me of mother. Perhaps, there is some hope for this world."

Yukiteru smiled at the girls. "Glad to see we're getting along." He looked over at Yuno. "Yuno...I promise to help you through the pain you had within you. Together, we'll make sure your psychotic side will never surface again, I'll be sure that we see this fight through to the end."

Nishjima was driving John in his vehicle on the road. "To think this war has started." He then looked ahead and saw corpses in the road, halting the vehicles and they went to examine the bodies. "What is this?"

Suddenly the bodies abruptly got up and threw tear gas leaving the vanguards vulnerable. "Cover your mouths and noses!" Taou stated. "No need for that!" Wendy stated as the others stared at her. "Body Anomaly Reversal Magic! Raise!" Taro prepared to take out his gun but before he could Yukiteru grabbed his wrist. "Anomaly Resistance Enchant! Re-Raise!" Wendy's body glowed.

"What did you do?" Taro asked cautiously.

"The tear gas effects won't work on you and the others for a while," The sky god slayer summarised. "Her support magic allows her to reverse any effect that is used from an enemy like poison, paralysis, and sleepness gas."

"She's right," Rin took off her mask and looked at her Diary. "My Diary says that we won't affected by the gas for a few minutes!"

"So, let's make this quick!" Yukiteru stated.

The others did so and charged down at 11th's men.

"White Moon!" Carla delivered dropkicks on the guards.

Yukino kicked a kick in a guard's stomach and turned around delivering an uppercut punch at the guard's chin. Both were knocked out.

"Time for my plan to be motion..." John activated something on his vehicle and antennae appeared on his car's roof and a speaker was on the center of the car's front.

Screech

A screech-like soundwave erupted from the speaker stopping Wendy and the allies in their track.

"Looks like I found some fairies!" Ruguro was running in the group of humans direction.

Wendy caught this danger instantly. "It's a demon Kamada have your children flee at once!"

"She's right, a demon is coming down the road!" Rin confirmed.

Taro gritted his teeth. "Just when the fight was in our favor." He looked at his Diary. "Not to mention the connection from that antenna is blocking our phone's connection!" He quickly turned to the others. "Everyone retreat for now!" One guard managed to sneak through the gas wear a mask and knock out 8th using their gun.

"Mother!" Rin yelled as her mother was taken into 11th's car.

"Damn it!" Yukiteru cursed.

"Tenchi Kaimei!" A large tide of water was coming from the forest and unfortunately, most of the children were washing away over the cliff. Taro and Rin watched in horror as their siblings fell down the cliff.

"No!" Taro screamed with wide eyes as the rushing water caused some shockwaves causing him to crash into Rin knocking them both out.

Yuno saw 11th's vehicle fleeing the scene. "Yuki, 11th is escaping!"

Yukino figured this plan had a hole and saw only two options. "Yuki, take Yuno, Rin, and Taro out of here! Chase after John and get Kamanda back!" The first holder nodded. "You hear that, Yuno?"

Yuki and Yuno carried two of Kamada's remaining children into her vehicle and buckled them up then they drove off.

Ruguro was finally there as he growled at the wizards. "Crap, you had to let those scumbags escape. No matter, I'll be sure to end your lives."

"Heheheheh..." Torafuza was on the cliff side giving the wizards a wide grin showing his teeth. "I waited a long time for this."

Chelia was prepared to fight. Yukino took out one of her Zodiac keys. Kagura pointed her sword while it was still in its sheath.

Carla thought the situation couldn't be more dire. "This is bad, even with our skills, these demons are tough. Plus, we don't know what this new demon can do." Suddenly her vision activated. The first one was seeing Akise and Minene somewhere on the main road with Yuki and Yuno there.

"We were able to get a match for the corpse and identify it...by comparing to this..." There was an umbilical cord.

A second vision appeared and there was Jackal. "Oh no...it's him..." Carla thought. Jackal had Akise and Yuno in his bomb spheres. "Yukiteru Amano, choose who will live and die, choose quickly patience isn't my thing!"

Carla gritted her teeth. "Wendy, Chelia, Yukino, my vision...I just saw two, Yuki and Yuno are in danger, I need to get there!" She left the part out of Akise showing something.

"Alright, go ahead, we'll take care of these jerks!" Chelia stated.

Carla sprouted her wings and flew away not before, Wendy tossed her Diary. "Take this, use my Diary's ability to find Yuki and Yuno!" The white exceed nodded as she continued to fly away.

"Kagura, you and Yukino handle Torafuzar while Chelia and I take care of this demon!" Wendy ordered.

"Right!" Kagura used her gravity charge to help her and Yukino on the cliff.

Torafuzar just smirked. "To think I would face you guys again back at the abandoned town. Sklade and Draco died, so, you both will pay the price!"

"Fairy Tail...Lamia Scale...to think I would be facing two wizards from different guilds. It won't matter, since both of you will die," The demon declared with a smirk.

Wendy glared at the demon. "What is your name?"

The demon let out a grunt. "My name is Rugoro.' He growled at the two slayers. "I will avenge Tartaros for their fate, Most of all, I will finally have revenge for Master Ezel!"

Hearing that made Wendy curious about something. "Hold on a minute, who's Ezel?"

The demon turned to her. "You of all people know who he is, he's one of the Nine Demon Gates and the one that I idolized!"

Chelia wasn't sure how to think about that. "Idolize, I guess demons look up to other demons."

"The last I heard master Ezel was ordered by Lady Kyouka to activate Face." The demon gritted his teeth as he clenched both his hands tightly. "But, then your guild intervened and they stopped Face from activating. Somehow he was defeated by a Fairy wizard, I don't know who was responsible for his defeat but when I do find them; I will make sure that even their bones will remain!"

His words rang some very strong bells for Wendy as images of Ezel, the demon that comforted her and Carla at the location of the first Face device. He almost tried to bite off Carla's head only she used the energy from Face to activate her Dragon Force. "Then you found her." Chelia looked over at the other slayer who was staring intently at the demon. "I'm the one who defeated Ezel and stopped Face."

Chelia couldn't believe what her friend was saying in front of the enemy. "Wendy no!"

Rugoro was speechless for a few seconds before he roared. "THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT A BRAT LIKE YOU DEFEATED MASTER EZEL!"

"It's true!" Wendy admitted. "It doesn't matter though, we won't let you kill our friends!"

Chelia nodded her head. "So, if you want to get to them, you'll have to deal with the Sky Sisters first!"

Rugoro growled. "I don't give a damn what you brats call yourselves. Both of you will die!" He slammed his fist into the ground. "River Styx!" The spot where he punched the ground became a black sludge and expanded towards them.

"Move out of the way!" Wendy and Chelia jumped as high as they could grabbing onto the cliff and avoiding the black sludge. The road began to melt away. "What is that stuff?"

Rugoro laughed. "That is the power of my Rotting Curse. Anything I touch will waste away to nothing and I can manipulate it any way I can." Something clicked in Wendy's mind. "Wait, this stuff that the Gajeel team and Mr. Kurusu found at Hinata's family home kennel." She recalled the mansion even the entire yard, the dogs, and Hinata's father were in a decayed state. "So, he's the one that killed Hinata's father."

"Does that mean you killed 10th, I mean Hinata's father and her dogs?" Wendy asked with a glare.

Rugoro began to cackle until his laughter grew louder. "Oh you mean the obsessed dog trainer geezer, yes! His screams were excellent and the whimpering dying tones of his dogs were music to my ears!"

Wendy felt anger boil inside her. "You made Hinata cry that night, she lost her father when she finally managed to patch things up with him!" She jumped in the air. "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" Her attack managed to hurt the demon it didn't look like it did much damage.

"Now about this!" Chelia took a deep breath. "Sky God's Bellow!" She blew out a powerful current of air hitting the demon, doing a little more damage. Rugoro brushed the attack off like it was nothing.

On the road, Yukiteru was driving a car while Yuno held her Diary. "Looks like our friends got the demons occupied."

"Yeah, let's just hope they return safe," Yukiteru said a little worried. "But, I'm sure they'll return."

"Look like my Diary is ahead, once we take out their flat tires," Yuno informed.

"O-ok..." Yukiteru replied keeping an eye on the road. "How are Rin and Taro?"

Yuno took a quick look in the back. "They're unconscious, but, they'll be fine, once we get through this." Then her eyes caught a glimpse of a text that she didn't notice that read "16:40 Akise has suddenly appeared. He seems to understand the identity behind the third corpse. According to Akise, the corpse's identity is...Yuno Gasai."

A look of disbelief was shown on Yuno's face and drops of sweat were dripping on her forehead. "No, I made sure that there was nothing to test against it. If Yukki...finds out...this time, he'll leave me and no longer stay by my side...and the others..." She felt a hand placed on her right shoulder in comfort. "It's alright, don't be nervous." She saw an assuring smile on her crush's face and felt her cheeks flush with a pink hue.

Yukiteru held out his left hand. "Listen, I know I let you go twice because of what happened recently. However, this time, I'll be sure to keep holding your hand I promise...and I'm sure the others feel the same way." Yuno felt like she wanted to cry. "Yukki..."

On the highway.

"11th you bastard, my children were killed because of your choices!" Kamanda cried with tears.

John just scoffed. "Spare the theoretical crap, the fault lies within you from there." He held out his Diary. "My Dairy the Watcher will never lose to anyone. Looks like they're here." He eyed behind the road seeing Yuki and Yuno arrive "Well, looks like two children of yours are safe and sound."

Kamada was surprised to hear that. "What...how is that possible?"

Yukino took out her Silver Zodiac key. "Open Gate of the Bear Cub, Polaris!"

Torafuzar just laughed. "An overstuffed teddy bear and one that resembles a machine! I admit it's big, but sadly, it is enough to stop me!" Polaris charged at the demon, who pulled back his arms which had fin-like protrusions that were sharp. "Slash Arm!" He slashed through the giant robot bear's mechanical armor.

"Polaris no!" Yukino yelled. "Return now!" Her spirit vanished away and took out another Silver Key. "Time for this again, Open Gate of the Swan, Denbe!"

The black wing spirit flew out of its magic circle. "Guess you need my help again."

Kagura lunged at the demon. "Slice" Kata!" She struck the demon's body at a very high speed and was on the other side.

Torafuzar chuckled in a mocking tone. "Nice try, but unlike last time, I'm stronger than ever since I was reincarnated." Black water gathered around his fin-like blades. "Tenchi Kaimai Slash Arm Style: Twin Black Strike!" He lunged at the female swordsman.

"Gravity Change!" Kagura used her magic on herself to avoid the strike.

"I was expecting that!" Torafuzar put his arm out. "Ryzing Tide!" Creating a spiralling vortex of black water that rose high and exploded and Kagura was in the air unable to react in time to use her magic again because she would have a hard landing if that happened. She was caught in the wave unable to escape.

Torafuzar smirked until he felt someone staring at him. Moving quickly he swung his arm and the blade slashed Denbe on his torso. "Sorry...I...failed..." The celestial spirit faded away back to the Celestial World.

"No Denbe!" Yukino cried tears forming in her eyes. "Alright, Open the Gate of the Scale, Libra!" The belly dancer spirit was summoned holding her scale. "Hmph..."

"Star Dress: Libra Form!" Yukino changed into her belly dancer outfit. "Gravity Change!" Lowering Torafuza's body but barely, though it was enough to make him lose a little control of his attack.

"Use Gravity Change on this tree!" Yukino commanded.

Libra went behind a falling tree and used her Gravity Change to send it sliding down the watery hill. Torafuzar caught the tree with his hands.

Kagura was released from the vortex and landed on her feet. "Ugh..." She felt weak from the water. "Damn it, the black water has affected me." She panted heavily.

Yuno tried to shoot at 8th's vehicle's tires but, due to the mayor's Diary he was unable to avoid two shots that were aimed at his tires and himself. "Damn it..." He texted Kamada telling her of a plan a reckless one. "Guess, I'll pray and hope we don't crash into hell."

Yukiter got a text back and immediately took action and pushed 8th's car including the one he stole off the bridge landing hard on the road below. The couple got out of their vehicle approaching the side where John was sitting. "It's our victory, hand over 8th now, so we can kill you."

A smirk took place on John's face. "Heh...is that so, my Diary predicted allies are heading here right now."

"He can predict things happening far away from him!?" Yukiteru asked.

"Before I get into that, I must admit first, your father was able to slip through my fingers," John chuckled menacingly. "Good thing, I was about to kill him and his wife, but, pity they got away. No matter, I'll enjoy killing their son." He then eyed the back road. "However, it looks like the show is about to begin, one of your allies is about to reveal some dirty secrets."

Yuno felt her body get tense up.

Minene arrived on a motorcycle and catching ride was Akise. "Sorry about the sudden arrival, but, we had a reason to come here."

"Akise Aru!" Yukiteru exclaimed. "Why are you and Minene here?"

Bang

Yuno's gun was shot out of her hand which was done by Nishijima.

Minene held out her grenade. "Now then, all of you don't move." Yuno looked at her Diary's entries which read. "14:54 Akise suddenly arrives with the 9th on a motorcycle". Her eyes widened with shock.

"How interesting after picking this kid up from the children's home and getting some evidence analyzed from the lab, I followed you all here by listening to the police radio." Minene looked around. I see those fairies aren't here, so I would imagine that they're fighting the demon freaks."

Yuno caught a word of Minene mentioned. "They went to a lab and gathered evidence...?"

"Gasai...we were able to find a positive match on the third corpse in Yuno's backyard." Akise tossed a small box which Yuki caught and opened. There was something inside it that shocked Yuno.

What is this?" Yukiteru asked.

"Something that Yuno's actual family left at the orphanage when she lived there," Akise replied. "Yuno Gasai's umbilical cord."

"No...why did the orphanage keep that?" Yuno thought in disbelief.

"We had the lab salvage whatever they could find and compare to the DNA of the third corpse and...what we came with it is that the results match the umbilical cord."

Yuno panicked while placing her hands on Yuki's shoulders. "No, that's a lie!" Yuki turned his head at his stalker. "Wait, the two match the same..."

"Yes, and when I say the same, I mean the DNA belonged to the same person as the corpse...in order words, the third corpse is none other than Yuno Gasai herself which means the real one is dead..."

Yukiteru's face had a look of disbelief as traces of sweat dropped on his forehead. "But, then, who is the person right here?" Akise saw the reaction on the First holder's face. "Yukiteru, I know this is a lot to take in, but, the girl standing next to you is an imposter pretending to be Yuno Gasai! Whoever is I'd advise you to step away from her!"

Yuno held Yuki's left hand in an intertwined pose. "No Yuki, I'm not an imposter I swear!" Her hand was trembling as drops of sweat continued to pour down her forehead and Yuki stared at her, his disbelief expression not leaving his face. "You believe me, don't you...don't you Yukki?" No word came out of the first holder's mouth which greatly worried Yuno even more. "We can get through this..." Yuki began to move away in disbelief which Yuno noticed as a look of despair took the shape of her face. "No...what are you...NO! YUKKI!"

"My, quite the dramatic..." A deep voice was heard on the bridge which everyone turned to see. There stood Jackal.

"What the hell is that?" Minene cursed in question.

"Too bad Fairy Tail isn't here, but, I'm sure they will be," Jackal said looking around as he looked down at the Holders with a devious smirk.

Nishijima realized who the enemy was. "This monster...he must be one of the demons."

Carla was on her way until she spotted Ace nearby riding a dirt bike. "Ace, why are you here?"

"Where is Sting, Lector, Minerva, and Leone?" She asked the former Spade/whitebeard pirate.

Ace gritted his teeth. "Something happened, we were following Akise when our tires blew. I decided to go ahead while the others fixed their tires."

Carla was perplexed upon hearing that. "How did that happen?"

"Not sure, but, anyway, what's going on now, where are Wendy and the rest of your group?" Ace asked noticing the others weren't around. "They're fighting Torafuzar and another demon, I'm on my way to Yuki and Yuno's location because something is about to happen there!"

"What the hell is a demon doing here?" Akise questioned glaring at the demon.

Jackal chuckled amusingly. "I was admiring the drama, such intense. I found it almost amusing." John was busy observing the monster. "So, that's what of the demons I heard about."

Akise was already having enough of the demon's presence. "Look, if you're interfering with this investigation I would advise you to leave before you regret it." Jackal's response was a chuckle as he looked at the detective teen with amusement. "You are in no position to give me orders human detective weird-o."

Minene was about to throw her grenade when Jackal's voice rang out. "I wouldn't do that!" That abruptly stopped the ninth Holder. "What is that below you?" Akise asked looking underneath her feet.

It wasn't just Minene that had a yellow symbol, there was one under Nishijima's car including himself, Yuki, Akise, and Yuno. "What are these?" Yukiteru asked.

"That is my Landmine Curse...make one wrong move and...BOOM!" Jackal replied with a darkened expression.

Minene gritted her teeth in frustration. "Damn it, even if I toss this stupid thing, we'll all get blown to hell." Nishijima was worried about Minene's safety, though, he couldn't use his gun without moving to aim and that could set off the landmine.

"Now, let's make things more interesting for me that is..." Jackal stood from the bridge and jumped down the road below.

Yukiteru felt nervous. "I don't sound of this at all, he must be up to something." Jackal snapped his fingers in Yuno's direction forming a spherical, yellow container around Yuno and Akise.

"Yuno...Akise!"

"Say hello to my newest bombs!" Jackal stated.

"Yukki..."

"Let me go you bastard!"

"Damn it...they're bombs now?!" Minene thought in question.

"Now the show will begin..." Jackal looked at Yukiteru. "Only one of these bombs will explode, so, who goes boom, I will leave the choice up to you." Yukiteru looked at the demon. "So, which one lives and which shall die...choose quickly because patience isn't my strong suit."

B

Wendy and Chelia were staring at the demon Rugoro, who wants revenge for Ezel. "It's time to end this." He snarled raising his hand and the black sludge he created before swirled around him. It then covered his entire body and began to morph. It seemed the sludge was like being a part of the demon's body. It covered his arms and torso and it took the form of some sort of armor. "Etherious Form..." A helmet of the same covered the demon's head and had two horns coming out from the sides. "Decay Mode!" Wendy took a few steps back. Rugoro was more dangerous enough as it was. The demon roared. "Fairy Tail...your end including your friend shall be here!"

Wendy knew she had to act quickly. "Physyical Ability rise! Deus Eques!" Elemental resistance rise! Deus Corona!" A bright green light emitted out of the. "Ile Armor, Ile Arms, Ile Vernier! Enchant!" The light became brighter.

Chelia felt the enchant spell flow through her body. "Wow, I feel so strong now."

Rugoro had to admit he was impressed at what he was seeing. "I see. I never knew you were enchanted. Is this how you bested Master Ezel? No, I get the feeling it was more than that."

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy unleashed her attack on the demon.

It did make direct contact but Rugoro emerged from it unscathed. She gasped. "Is this all you have?!" If so then you're going to try harder. He rushed at the sky dragon slayer attempting to hit her with his fist but the young dragon slayer jumped back to avoid the attack and the attack hit the ground instead. however, that didn't stop him. "Decomp Geyser!" That same black sludge erupted from out of the ground like an actual geyser.

"Sky God's Bellow!" Chelia let out a black current of air at the geyser blowing the sludge. She quickly dashed toward the demon rotating her torso while extending her arms outwards. A massive spiral current of black wind-generated and blew at Rugoro. "Sky God's Dance!" Rugoro covered his arms not feeling much damage but it was a little and he was able to break through the black wind. "That's more like it! Struggle for your lives Fairy Tail...Lamia Scale! It'll make my victory all the more glorious!" He held his hand out. "Black Plague!" Several streams of black sludge were heading toward it.

"Unison Raid: Leading Sky Arrow/Trailing Sky Arrow!" Wendy and Chelia cloaked their legs in Sky Dragon and Sky God Slayer magic in an attack combination breaking through the streams of black sludge.

Rugoro was stunned by what he saw before he laughed again. "Not bad, but, I'll make sure the next attacks will hit you good!" He placed his arms in front of him. "Black Torrent!" A stream of black sludge started to head at the two violently.

Chelia generated two spiraling black currents gathering in correspondence to one of her open hands."Sky God's Boreas!" She then extended her hand toward the enemy the attack took the shape of a massive whirlwind.

"I will give a more helping hand!" Wendy transformed in her Dragon Force form. "Sky Dragon's Roar!" She unleashed her breath attack which was more powerful than the other she did previously.

The two slayers' attack collided with the demon's attack causing an explosion.

Kagura felt the contaminated water's effect on her body. "Damn it..." She snarled that attack took a toll on my body. "I heard from Gajeel's water was severely dangerous, but, this is more than I expected."

Yukino ran toward her friend. "Are you okay?" Kagura was panting a little. "Never better, but, at this rate, if we take one more hit, we'll be vulnerable." She looked at her sword. "I think I have an idea, though, I will have to muster what energy I have for one single strike, however, I'll need some time to get that power and my Diary will give me some boost."

Yukino looked at Libra and they both nodded at each other. "We'll keep him busy, you get ready for a final strike at the demon."

Torafuzar snarled. "I don't know what you two humans are yapping about but, I won't let you win..." His body began to change into super steel armor. "Thanks to this, any powerful weapon you might have won't be able to scratch through it. Pity that Gajeel isn't here."

"Double Gravity Change!" Libra and Yukino used their gravity magic to slow down the demon shark.

Torafuzar barely slowed down and kept struggling against it.

Kagura was looking through her Diary. "What element can my Diary absorb from this black water." She saw the only option within her Diary. "Yes, that's it..." Her Diary absorbed the element within the water and was transferred to her blade. "I hope this will work..."

F

Kagura was training with Usagi back in Earthland to learn Haki. She was training as hard as she could. "Pant...pant...pant..."

Usagi was barely breaking a sweat. "I can see that you're strong, but, it seems you need to focus on your spirit energy. If you have more faith in yourself than the others around you. Then you shall be capable of using the Haki. Never have a self-doubt inside you."

F

Kagura stood back on her feet. "All this time, I want to get stronger, I mean I don't know what enemies will come in the future. However, I want to keep getting stronger to protect my friends." She had a sharp look in her eyes as black metal began to cover her left arm which turned her entire sword including the sheath black. "Armament Hardening...Black Steel."

Torafuzar broke free from the pushed Yukino and Libra aside knocking them down hard on the ground. "Yukino! Libra!" Kagura kept her focus pointing her sword. "This ends now...I don't care if you have super steel armor, I will keep striking until your armor is cracked, and your last breath will be done by the hands of the Mermaid Heel Wizard: Kagura Mikazu!" She rushed fast with every strength she had. "Archenemy Style of the Undrawn Long Sword: Black Steel Slash!" She slashed down the demon's torso in a long line pattern that gave off a black lining. Torafuzar let out a scream of agony.

Wendy and Chelia prepared to use their attacks. Rugoro snarled at them. "I will be the one to emerge victorious. Now let's see if you can survive this!" He put his hands together. The black sludge that was around them began to move erratically and shot up high into the air and wide as well. "Rotting Tsunami!" The giant wave of sludge was heading at the two.

"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Shattering Light Sky Drill!"

"God Slayer's Secret Art: Heavenly Gathering of Clouds!"

A combination of black wind with sharp fathered-like winds and a fast wind barrier went straight at the giant wave blowing it away but some sludge almost hit the girls as they were forced to stop their attack and dodge it.

"Time to end this Fairy Tail...Lamia Scale!" Suddenly six currents of the sludge went into the air and morphed into serpent-like heads. When they fully formed all of them roared. "Rotting Hydra!" All three heads went straight at the two slayers.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

"Sky God's Bellow!"

They unleashed their breast attack making it into a bigger one that blew away the entire heads away. "For so long I waited to find the one who defeated Master Ezel. Now that wish will be fulfilled! I will avenge him by ridding you Sky Maiden and your god-slayer friend!" A massive orb of sludge formed above him. Then he threw down his arms. "Rotting Death!" The big massive sphere traveled quickly to where the two slayers were.

"Time to end this.." Wendy and Chelia nodded at each other gathering their magic power. "Unison Raid..."

"Forget what you are doing is pointless! You two can't escape the gates of the netherworld!" Rugoro roared.

"Sky God..."

"Dragon's..." The two unleashed a storm with a black-like cyclone that blew at the demon. "Cyclone Storm!" At the end of the cyclone was the shape of a black wind that resembled a dragon.

"NO! MASTER EZEL! I FAILED YOU!" Ruguro screamed as the attack completely enveloped him and the attack tore through the ground behind him.

Jackal felt a pain sensation. "So, Torafuzar and Rugoro bites the dust. No matter, means more fun for me."

"Yuki, save me from this demon please!"

"Yukiteru, save me so I protect you from Yuno!"

Yukiteru glared at the demon. "Stop this! Why are you doing this to them?!" Jackal just laughed. "This is a lot more fun, humans are nothing but playthings nothing more." He then looked at Yukiteru. "So, you got ten seconds left, so better make your choice."

Yuno felt scared for once. "Yuki...help me...save me..."

"Yukiteru, do you think saving Yuno is worth it? She tried to drug you and it's obvious she wants to use you like a pawn! I've been honest with you all the way, you deserve someone better!"

"When you say someone, you mean you, right?" Minene muttered a little weirded out.

Yukiteru attempted to take out a dart. "Careful...any sudden movements will set off the mine and if you explode before making your choice then both of these saps including everyone will caught in the blast!" Jackal let out an evil cackle.

"Yukki...please save me..."

"Yuno is nothing but an imposter! Whoever she is she will kill you and your friends!"

Yukiteru felt powerless to do anything, he did think of Akise as a friend and he loved Yuno, but, he knew he couldn't have one of them die. "Time's up Yukiteru Amano. Who's life will you choose to spare and who will leave in a body bag..." Jackal questioned with a psycho smile on his face.

"We choose...you!" Ace was being carried by Carla, who dropped him down at the demon. "Flame Magic: Dive Drop Kick!" His foot was covered in flames delivering a dropkick on Jackal's face sending him flying away and deactivating the landmine symbols.

Yukiteru went over to Yuno and hugged her. "Sorry, I let my guard down." The teenage boy placed his left hand on his girl's head. "It's fine."

Akise saw this and growled. "Yukiteru, weren't you listening to me? Whoever that girl is she'll surely-"

"Enough!" Yukiteru demanded looking pissed at the detective. "I'm aware of the Survival Game's rules that we might have to fight if we're the only ones standing, but, I'll spend whatever time I will have left with Yuno." He had a soft smile on his face. "Though, I'm glad that you're safe."

Using this chance, Nishjima got back in the car with Kamada and John still inside and drove off. "Damn it, they got away!" Ace cursed.

Carla decided to speak her piece. "Guys, we should regroup for now. Yuki, Yuno, go, take those kids back to the station." Yukiteru nodded his head.

"Yukiteru..." Akise attempted to go after him, but Ace stood in his way. "That's enough!" The pirate gave the detective teenager a serious look. "Let him go...he'll be fine." As much as Akise wanted to argue, he had no choice. "Very well, I'll leave for now." He left with Minene and noticed the demon wasn't around. "Where is the demon now?"

Jackal was back in the unknown realm.

Muru Muru was lecturing the demon. "Jackal, you screwed it up, you were supposed to kill those idiots not play with them! On top of that, Torafuzar and Rugoro were defeated!"

"Calm down, their defeats weren't for nothing. Thanks to the life forces Rugoro collected from 10th and the some Torafuzar managed to get will be transferred to this." Brron was seen with a lacrima in his hands. "I can be assured that our plan is going into motion."

Kamada is kidnapped and some of her children die at the hands of the demon Torafuzar, though, Rin and Taro are the only children left. Akise and Minene arrive at the scene revealing the identity of the third corpse that was found in the Yuno's backyard. The third corpse is Yuno Gasai leaving Yukiteru in disbelief until Jackal appears and turns Yuno and Akise into time bombs but they are saved by Ace. Kamada is taken away by John. Yukiteru and Yuno retreat. Akise decides to turn away for now. With two demons defeated, what will happen next, find out next time.
