Dang Ol Relationship
Chapter 3: Getting Closer
The following morning Boomhauer walks out of his house seeing the new girl sitting on her porch, she seemed bored, at least he thought this. He walks that way, tapping her shoulder when he gets there, she perks her head up to see the man's face, "Yo Becca, you seem bored, wanna go somewhere with dang ol' me?" She smiles, she was indeed bored, "Sure, have anywhere in mind?", "It's your choice, I'm not picky." She stands up, she grabs his right hand and says, "Maybe the park..?", this makes the man blush very slightly, he becomes flustered, "We just dang um met, what's up?", "That sounds great. But may I ask, why you grabbed my hand, yo?", he stutters out. The woman places her other hand on his shoulder, "You've been sweet to me."
Boomhauer's blush deepens, he was used to this, but it feels different this time, "Dang ol' thanks, you're just as sweet, man." The lady lets go of the man's hand and places that hand on his cheek, "I bet we'll get along so well." He grabs her sides and says before pulling her close, "I dang um think so too.", after pulling her in he asks, "Mind if I give you something?", she nods, he then leans in and kisses her cheek, he then moves his lips so close to hers, "I really like you, Becky." After saying this the man's lips are on hers, Rebecca becomes a bit surprised, "Should I date him yet or wait until we get closer?", she pulls away from Boomhauer, telling him, "Boomhauer, I think you're rushing things. We should get closer first. But don't get me wrong, you're a good kisser and your lips are very soft."
Soon the two hear this, "Rebecca, got any pests for me to exterminate?", Rebecca looks beyond Boomhauer seeing the man in the hat, "No, my place seems pest free.", Boomhauer then goes over to this man, "Dang ol' man, I was just flirting, can't you wait?" Dale sighs, "You do this all the time. There's rarely a moment you're not flirtin', Boomhauer.", Boomhauer growls, "Just get dang ol' out of here, man.", "Fine, but you gonna drink with us later?" Rebecca walks up, "I'll be there, Dale. Also please leave, I need to tell Boomhauer something." Once Dale's out-of-earshot, Rebecca turns Boomhauer's way who turns her way, "Dang ol' what's up?", "I like you, maybe I'm ready for more than friendship."
Boomhauer grins, "You won't regret this, sweet dear. I've been looking for another long-term relationship." Rebecca places her hands on his chest, "What happened last time?", "The woman was like me she didn't care about getting together fully… Not that I'm not serious this time, dear." Rebecca leans her head close, "Thank goodness, I would hate to be just another fling.", "You won't be just some dang ol' fling."
