Ironwoods stood before the monsters, WBY, JNPR, Summer, Goodwitch and Ozpin. He looked at his old friend, saying, "Ozpin, I don't want any trouble. I'm just here for the Hedgehog."

Ozpin looked at Ironwood, and gave a very dark glare, breaking his calm demeanor.

"You've got some nerve coming here, James," said Ozpin with some venom in his voice, "You attack a project that YOU wanted to happen, you turn a mother against her own children, tearing a family apart in the process, you attack the very facility that is home to the defenders of our own planet when aliens invaded, and NOW, you march into MY kingdom, in MY academy, demanding shit outside of your jurisdiction!"

Everyone was shocked. Ozpin never swore before for as long as they have known him.

"I would suggest that you leave now, or this will be a decoration of war against the Kingdom of Vale. Do you really think you have a chance against the same beings who destroyed an alien ship that even your kingdom didn't make a single scratch on?"

Ironwood looked at them, and then at Shadow, and said, "You know how he was created, right?"

"Shadow has shown he is NOTHING like Salem," said Ozpin, "Despite them carrying the same blood."

Ironwood looked at Ozpin, and said, "Then... I'm sorry for what I'm about to do."

Ozpin fell to the ground, with everyone shocked at what just happened.

"Secure the monsters," said Ironwood.

Atlas personal came, in ships, surrounding Reptar and Titanis, with ground soldiers appearing. Dr. Bots then looked at his weapon, and said, "I swore never to use this on humans and faunus, but I have no choice."

He fired a ray at a soldier, and an x-ray happened, as he man fell to the ground. As soon as he made that shot, the rest followed defending them.

Gerald jumped up, and slammed his fists down, creating a shockwave, knocking them over.

Bendy stretched out his fists into robots and soldiers.

If one were to describe what Yang and Blake were doing, it would be symphony in motion. The two using attacks in perfect unison, moving at high speeds almost rivaling Shadow's.

Weiss used all the teachings her sister gave her, and summoned a large suit of armor, slashing down the robots.

Mater was rushing around, bumping into all Atlas people, knocking them over. He laughed as he hit them over, until he heard something. Looking on his tire, he said, "Ah shoot." He then wiped the bits of leg off of his tire. "Sorry," said Mater to the soldier who was wriggling in pain.

Jaune and Pyrrha was using their blades together, and like reading each other's movements, they managed to defend the other before something happened.

Nora jumped forward, and smacked a missile away from Ren, and smiled at him. "Thanks Nora," said Ren.

"Anything for you Renny," said Nora.

Ruby was fighting against a large Paladin, and put the weapons to shame, just with her fists. She simply punched through the suit, and pulled out the pilot, with him looking like he just pooped himself. Ruby simply flicked him away. He most likely would be greatly injured, if not die, but she didn't care right now. Atlas had hurt her family, and she was gonna make sure that would never happen again.

Reptar was clawing ships out of the air, and blasting them with his fire breath. His tail flew around a few times, as he used it as a giant baseball bat, hitting ships into each other.

Summer and Shadow fought against the Ace Ops, and Summer was taking care of Clover, while Shadow held his own against the others.

"NO ONE TREATS THE ACE OPS LIKE CHUMPS!" yelled Harriet. Without thinking, she charged forward, fist at the ready, only for Shadow to teleport in front of her, taking her by surprise, and twisting her wrist the wrong way, breaking it.

Harriet screamed in pain, as she was kicked into the air, and Shadow teleported behind Elm, and knocking her out with a kick to the head. Vine used his Aura arms to grab the Hedgehog, but he just grabbed them, and pulled Vine in, head butting him.

Shadow was left with Marrow, who looked very scared. Shadow just walked up to him, and Marrow snapped his fingers, saying, "STAY!"

In an instant, Shadow stopped in his tracks. However, this was futile, as he only stopped his movement, not his mind or powers. Shadow teleported behind Marrow, and grabbed him by the tail, and spinning around on his heel, before letting go, saying, "SO LONG, DOGGY!"

Summer clashed against Clover's weapon, until Clover flicked his pin, and Summer slipped a bit, and Clover used this moment to wrap his line around Summer.

Slowly, each member of the team was overwhelmed, and was starting to tire out. Some airship fired at Ruby, and bonds were wrapped around her, making her topple over. Dr. Bots and Mater were caught in an EMP shockwave, paralyzing them both. Bendy was sucked into bottle, and just laughed, "Look at me! I'm a liquid!"

Gerald did a hand stand, hitting the soldiers with his feet, until his back cracked, and he yelled, "OW!" He fell down, and was dog piled on top of.

Reptar was blinded with bright lights shining right into his eyes. He was then tripped, landing on some empty classrooms.

As for the Huntsmen, they were shot with a special dart that blocked off their Aura, and knocked them out. Shadow looked at this, but was then hit with a net that shocked him.

"NO! I... CAN'T! NOT... THIS... TIME!"

Shadow slowly fell to his knees, as he cried in pain. He opened his eyes, seeing a white plain, and a single figure before him. She looked like a Grimm, only human with dark veins all over her skin.

"Greeting, Shadow the Hedgehog," said the woman.

"You're her, aren't you?" asked Shadow, "Salem."

"...Yes I am," said Salem, "and you are in need of some assistance."

"Why would I accept help from you!?"

"Because you need it. Face it, you have failed right now. But, I will give you a boost in power. Just know, next time we meet, you will be mine, as promised."

Salem then turned into liquid, and flowed into Shadow, as Shadow said, "NO! I WILL NEVER BOW TO YOU!"

"You can not deny, your destiny."

In the real world, Shadow's eyes popped open, and the net disintegrated from touching him, and he yelled out, "CHAOS SPEAR!"

Shadow then went about, throwing Spears of energy at all Atlas members attacking the monsters and Huntsmen.

He then sped forward, and curled into a ball, hitting a single soldier, and unleashed a furry of punches and kicks, before launching her into a crowd of other soldiers. Shadow raced around, ramming into the other soldier, as he round house kicked each one of them.

Ironwood fired at Shadow, who teleported in front of him, and kicked him up, punched him back down, and kicked him once more into his own ship, breaking it in the process.

Shadow then curled into a ball, and as he did, black matter surrounded him, and tentacles appeared around him, and he took on a Grimm form, only with red instead of white accessories.

He then raced around, freeing his friends, and showing no mercy against Atlas. He slammed ships into each other, and rammed down all the soldiers. He turned back into Shadow, as he looked up, and then concentrated. In an instant, he sprouted wings from his back, and took off, rushing through all the Atlas command ships, making them explode, and then going along the waters, where he saw a few Atlas Battle Ships. There, Grimm Matter appeared at his feet, taking a form similar to a ray, and Shadow surfing on the waves.

He was fired at, only to send the projectiles back to their sender, and Shadow made sure no one was left standing except his friends.

At last, he arrived, as Ironwood used the last ace he had. Clover heard him, and said, "Winter, Longing, Five, Eight, Hive..."

Summer screamed in pain, as she fell to the ground.

"... Atlas, Second, Soldier, Activate."

Summer then stood with a blank stare, as she looked at Clover, saying, "Ready to comply."

"Summer!"

Summer then blinked, and was back to normal.

Ironwood stood with a few remaining Atlas Robots. His suit was torn, showing his cybernetics, as he said, "This is a big mistake! When the world finds out about you, they'll come for Shadow! You think they'll accept you after what you've done now!?"

Shadow had all get behind him, as he said, "If the world chooses to be my enemy."

Shadow then removed his rings on his wrists, "Then I will fight like I have today: for the ones who care for me!"

The rings fell gently on the ground, and Shadow felt a surge of energy flow through him. He then charged forward, with the Monsters behind him, in a massive wave of energy. Every bot was smashed to bits, as Shadow went through them all, not sparing one. Even Clover was hit by the energy.

After just 15 minutes, all that was left, was scrap and burnt metal, knocked out or dead bodies, and Ironwood, laying on the ground.

Ironwood looked up, to see Shadow looking at him, his rings back on his wrists.

"I will come back," said Ironwood, "With a bigger army than last time. I will bring all of Atlas, with nothing to spare. Just who do you think you are?"

"I am Shadow the Hedgehog," he replied, "The Ultimate Lifeform, guardian of this planet. I will fight to protect all, no matter what or who they originate from. And know this, if you dare harm my family again, I will not hold back!"

Ironwood looked at Shadow, and could tell he was serious. However, Shadow was not taking any chances.

"Goodbye General!"

Shadow brought his hand down, and Ironwood fell to the ground, dead. He then turned to the others, and said, "I'm sorry for all of this. I... I never..."

"I will be speaking with the councils," said Goodwitch, "I will show them that James fired first, and killed Ozpin. This was HIS doing. You are not to blame for this."

"Yeah," said Summer, "If it wasn't for you, I would've died from my disease."

"And we would never have seen our mother again," said Yang.

"Shadow," said Ruby, "If it pleases you, I offer you a spot on Team Monster."

Shadow looked at Ruby, and then at the kingdom. He looked over, and said, "I think I have my decision made."

4 months later...

Summer had returned to Patch, living happily with Tai, and Qrow would often visit every now and then. Raven had not been heard from since her encounter with Shadow. And as for the monsters, they were currently on a new mission, with a new friend.

"Ready for your first mission Shadow?" asked Ruby.

Shadow smirked, "As long as it's a challenge, I'm in!"

They then climbed on Reptar, as the giant lizard roared, and took off, into the sky.
