Neb: Last Chapter Louie discussed with his friends on how they can get Huey back who had been captured by Albert. They don't have Dewey or Webby, because those two are off with Scrooge and Della. Poor Huey has been through a lot during this fanfic and it may only get worse from here. Still, Albert has it out for all three triplets and as Violet stated, the only thing he craves is war. He had even founded like minded individuals in Steelbeak, Magica, and Negaduck. In a different fanfic of mine, I've had a character of mine question the logic in destruction. I think if he met Albert, Albert would be able to answer that for him. The logic is placed on envy, greed, vengeance, and the need to rebuild. He wants to claim a better life for himself, one similar to that of the triplets, but he doesn't want them to hand it to him. Bradford wanted to steal the world, Albert wants to steal a new life. Anyways, i do not own Ducktales. I hope you all enjoy the fanfic.
Huey awoke tied up and gagged in some sort of dark sewer lair. So this is where Albert was currently hiding his base.
"I can't believe we did all that just to capture one brat," Magica seethed. "And this is your grand evil lair? A pitiful sewer!"
"Now now Magica," Albert yawned as he sat back in an easy chair flipping through the news paper. "You have to enjoy the small victories before we reach the finally. The capturing of Hubert is part of the grand plan." He had his cellphone out scrolling through investment opportunities. This was how he was able to build his small fortune that allowed him to recruit Stealbeak and for a little while Graves and the other mercenaries. Though Albert had cut ties with the rest of the mercenaries due to their failure in collecting the Star Charts. He didn't need Graves and his crew anyways, as they're scoreboard against the Duck family was chalked full of losses.
"Just think," Negaduck grinned at Magica. "The Duck family will be grabbing every ally they have to try and get the kid back. I look forward to running all their allies into the dirt. The moon warrior, Gizmodork, and that dead meat duck!"
"W-what?", Stealbeak scratched his head.
"He hates their superhero friends," Albert explained. "Though the grudge on the moon warrior is because?"
"She talked to me like I was inferior," Negaduck growled. "I'm going to remind that freak over and over again why I am the super star of this set."
Steelbeak twirled his finger around where his ear would be if he had one. He then hid his hands behind his back when Negaduck turned to him and glared angrily.
"And I will remind Lena that she is nothing," Magica grinned ignoring the other two. "Just a pawn used for my amusement. I will also be taking Scrooge McDuck's head."
"Fine," Albert waved it away. "I don't care about Scrooge or his allies. I only want the destruction of his four kids."
"And I want money," Stealbeak nodded. "And I guess taking out Launchpad also. But mostly the money."
They were all silent for a moment and then Magica spoke up.
"Four? I thought they were triplets?", Magica responded confused.
"Webby is his daughter," Albert explained. "She's got to go also. Though there are much stronger allies than Webby, Lena, and the super heroes that we have to worry about. Once those allies are taken care of, well everything will fall into place."
Huey was trying to make noise through the gag as if he wanted to say something.
"I forgot he was even here," Stealbeak laughed before removing the gag. "What?"
"I was saying you better not underestimate Uncle Scrooge," Huey explained. "He's beaten all of you once before, and he'll do it again."
"I've never loss to him," Albert, Stealbeak, and Negaduck all simultaneously corrected Huey.
"Or fought him for that matter," Albert shugged. "The only one of us he has credit for winning against is Magica."
"Choose your next words carefully brat," Magica growled.
"I was going to mention how he needed help every time," Albert assured. "But Hubert does bring up a good point, if anyone can throw a wrench in our plans, it's the old Scottish man."
"Albert," Huey sighed. "I've pieced together why you hate us."
"Go on," Albert smiled.
"You lost your family because they went out looking for our mom," Huey nodded. "Gandra filled me in on the disappearance of the Argyris family. Because of that you had to grow up alone."
Albert shook his head. "I corrected Llewellyn on this matter as well. I do not blame Scrooge, or Bradford, or Della. It's my own parents fault for leaving me. They took on a mission that was too big for them. They thought that their skills together made them as formidable as a pilot as Della Duck, but they were wrong."
"Wait so then why do you hate us?", Huey groaned. "If it's not out of vengeance."
"It is out of vengeance," Albert shook his head. "A more cosmic vengeance at least. You all have everything, and I have nothing. I'd like to switch that, and when i get the Star Charts, I'll be able to do exactly that."
"W-wait a minute," Huey groaned. "Are you kidding me? You did all of this because of envy?"
"Indeed," Albert smiled. "Llewellyn was shocked as well. But I assure you my motives are just. We both lost our parents to space Hubert. But the difference was I lived a much darker tale. You had your Uncle Donald, meanwhile my Aunt dropped me off at an orphanage the first chance she got. You had a rich Uncle. But the first people who adopted me were a couple of peace loving losers. You have magical adventures constantly falling into your laps. But I had to go out, do research, and find my magic items. It's not fair how different we are, when our origins are tied so close together."
Huey looked down and sighed. "I'm sorry Albert. We can make this right."
Albert kicked Huey's chair over and got ready to blast him with wind. He stopped himself and took a deep breath. "I lived my life with my own strength, my own ideas, and made my own small fortune. I do not need your pity or your charity. I only want war."
"Alright," Magica grinned. "I am one hundred percent behind you if I wasn't already. You and I are so much alike red child."
"You see?", Stealbeak laughed. "This kid gets it. Classic villain origin, classic villain monologue. Unlike Mr. birdbrain here." He got up close to Magica's pet Buzzard and got pecked in the face immediately. "OW!"
"How are the Star Charts going to fix everything for you?", Huey wondered. "Are you just going to use them to find more magic items?"
"Maybe after a while," Albert nodded. "But I'll continue to withhold what I actually need them for. I mean, what if your brothers actually manage to rescue you. Then I'd be that much easier to foil."
"We are still going to stop you," Huey shook his head. "I hope you realize that."
"Want to know the difference between that Moon General Lunaris and I? He was smart and saw through every brilliant plan your family had. I can see through all your stupid ones. Your own family will let dumb things tear them apart. Like their insecurities, their codependency, their petty rivalries, and the fact that in the end they'll underestimate me. I have to thank Lunaris and Bradford, the two of them becoming world wide threats will make it easy for a thirteen year old boy like me to go under the radar."
"Ok I get it, your smart," Huey groaned. "But your going to underestimate us as well."
"We will see Hubert," Albert smirked.
