The clock resonates in the background as the faint scratches of the pen moves.
The stack of papers seemingly endless haunts me till the end of this day.
However, one particular sound stopped me from my paperworks.
*Ting*
Grabbing my trusty tablet, I pressed the power button.

After tapping the usual password I opened my email.
There I saw a message.
Good day Ojou-sensei.
We are the foreclosure taskforce in abydos district. We sent you this message seeking some help and your guidance. Please do help us here if you have some free time ojou-sensei.

Staring at the tablet, I became worried immediately.
Ojou-sensei:"A student needs my help"
So I said before neatly stacking the rest of the papers on my desk before taking my plain old coat and inserting the tablet on the inside pocket.
There I head to abydos academy to help another student in need.

-abydos district-
*huff* *huff*
I end up running.
Why?
The school is already close by.
But that is not the reason.
*Gunshots*
Ojou-sensei:"There?"
I sped up towards the direction of the sound I heard.
My heart is beating loudly.
As if it's about to burst.
My eyes forward as I ran.
And when I reached the school gate,
There I saw...
The gate itself broken beyond repair.
The walk way roof fell.
The ground full of cracks possibly from explosion.
The abydos school itself full of marks of destruction.
I slowly moved forward with my eyes lingering from the aftermath I haven't witnessed.
Entering inside, I am met with destroyed inside. Floors, walls full of cracks and broken shards of glass.
Starting to feel fear, I look around.
As I am about to take a step, my tablet rang.
I pulled it out quickly from my coat and look at the familiar figure inside.
Ojou-sensei:"Arona."
Arona:"SENSEI! PLEASE RUN AWAY THERE QUICKLY!"
Huh? I never heard Arona panic this much.
Ojou-sensei:"Why? What's the-"
*crash*
Before I get to finish the words I am about to ask, the wall near me collapsed.
A student got sent flying and ended up stumbling near my feet.
My body moved quickly and pulled the girl with glasses slowly.
Ojou-sensei:"What happened?"
I asked gently patting her face to wake her up.
?:"Urgh..."
She slowly open her eyes but a grunt of pain comes out of her mouth.
When she finally opened her eyes, her gaze meet mine.
?:"Se...nsei?" She asked.
Ojou-sensei:"Yes Ayane. What happened here?"
She tried to pull herself up but she groaned again when her legs touched the floor.
Ojou-sensei:"Hold up. Let me help you. You sprained your leg."
I pulled her and moved Ayane's arm around my shoulder to support her.
Ayane:"Thank you... Sensei."
I slowly moved her out of the school.
But when we got close to the exit, she stopped me.
Ayane:"Wait Sensei... Hoshino senpai... and Shiroko..."
Ojou-sensei:"Where?"
I asked her quickly realizing what she is about to say.
Ayane:"At the rooftop."
I moved her beside the wall at the exit and let her sit there comfortably with her back on the wall.
Ojou-sensei:"I will go. Stay here."
Ayane:"Bu..."
She tried to say something but her eyes lowered towards her leg.
Ayane:"I understand. Please be careful sensei."
Ojou-sensei:"I will."
I gave her my reply before facing Arona.
Ojou-sensei:"Arona. Give me directions."
Arona:"But sensei! There is something there. Something that shouldn't exist in Kivotos."
Ojou-sensei:(Shouldn't exist?)
Ojou-sensei:"Either way, we need to save the others."
Arona:"Guh..."
Arona stayed quiet for few seconds before the 3d graph of the school appeared in the tablet and a line which resembles a path appeared.
Arona:"Follow the path sensei. I will try to avoid the weird energy."
Ojou-sensei:"Thanks Arona."
I ran immediately following the path Arona gave.
With hurried pace and heavy legs feeling from the rush, I kept onward while hearing the gunshots and explosions.
Soon enough, A door revealed infront of me.
Ojou-sensei:"This is the door to rooftop."
Arona:"Yes. sensei. Please bear yourself. The weird energy are focused outside near the sky."
Ojou-sensei:"Got it."
I gulped before I turn the doorknob open.
Outside reveals Hoshino holding her weapon and shield with shiroko hiding behind her.
Shiroko looked at my direction seemingly alerted from the sound of the door.
Shiroko:"SENSEI!"
She shouted at me.
Hoshino:"Sensei?"
Hoshino also looked back but returned to the target quickly as if to simply check.
Ojou-sensei:"Hold on." I answered back to shiroko as I step outside.
Looking up to the direction where Hoshino is looking at, I saw something Unexplainable.
Black hole looking phenomenon in the sky with countless tentacles wriggling seemingly trying to slither out the hole.
Inside the hole however, seems to be something.
I tried straining my eyes to look deeper inside.
However, that seemed to be a mistake.
*Screeeeeeeech*
A loud insect like screeching echoed in the sky.
Then followed by
*Hehehehehheheheheheheheheheh*
A scary laughter. As if a child like entity or a group of them laughing behind the hole.

Multiple voices seemingly talking inside making me dumbfounded.
Hoshino held her weapon closely while telling shiroko to move back slowly.
The two then slowly but surely reached the door where I am.
But then...
*Whoosh*
A bunch of tentacles suddenly reached out from the hole.
Each attacked simultaneously in different direction.
?:"Duck!"
Before the tentacles reach us, A voice shouted followed by heavy sound of firing.
Looking up I saw a helicopter.
Inside are the faces of familiar students I know.
Ojou-sensei:"Yuuka! Noa! Nonomi!"
Nonomi:"Sensei! I brought help!"
Nonomi answered back while continuously firing her machine gun towards the tentacles.
Yuuka telling Nonomi where the new tentacles appear while Noa watching the situation.
After five minutes of firing, The tentacles stopped.
The hole started to close slowly as if the atmosphere is healing slowly.
?:Fufufufu
?:Ah... we ran out of time
?:Doesn't matter
?:We'll get it soon enough
?:The relic if those foolish gods
?:The treasure of those old fools
?:The Cancer of this world
And then the hole fully disappears without a trace.
Feeling safe now, I dropped on the floor knees bent.
Hoshino also fell looking tired.
Shiroko knelt down beside Hoshino.
The helicopter slowly descent on the roof top.
Nonomi ran towards us quickly followed by Yuuka and Noa.
Ojou-sensei:"What was that?"
I asked Yuuka who is reading a stack of paper.
Yuuka:"Sensei. That... This is something we don't know."
I look at her eyes as if asking if she is serious.
Then look at Noa who sighs.
Noa:"Just now. Early morning. I received reports of sightings. Multiple holes appeared in Kivotos. According to Veritas who reached us out first... This is another crisis that can harm Kivotos. Well according to the former president Rio."
Ojou-sensei:"Just this morning?"
Noa:"Yes sensei. To be precise, 08:26:35:054. We received a call or more like Himari hacked to our pc with a video of her explaining the leads from Former president Rio."
Ojou-sensei:"Does that mean this is like before? Phrenapates?"
?:"No."
I look at my tablet where the sound came from.
I saw Arona and this time with Plana
Suddenly the two of them spoke in unison.
Plana:"Sensei. This time is not from chroma."
Arona:"Sensei, this is not like before."
Ojou-sensei:"Then what is it?"
The two replied.
Plana&Arona"This is not from Kivotos. But from another place. Somewhere that is not here."
Ojou-sensei:"Wha-"
Before I could finish my reply, a terrible headache spread in my head.
I don't know what happened but I probably lost consciousness.
But what matters is the message or a memory or something inside my head.
