19. Chapter Seventeen: Dark Side War Part 4

I have a little announcement, I have started putting the characters of my Fanfiction stories on Character AI, So now if you wish you will be able to chat with the characters from this universe.So far I only have Anna Castle Aka Vibration and Neopolitan Vanille, Neo is under that name, and Anna is under the name Vibration, I plan to add all the characters eventually,I decided to start with the Remnant Level 5's first well the current one's since I have not yet revealed each Remnant Level 5 esper yet in the stories, then I will move on to the other characters.

When it comes to some characters they will not be added until certain points in the stories, and there will be probably multiple versions of some characters, like Vibration for example, and Weiss,Accelerator, Ruby, etc. so yeah if you want to talk with the characters or roleplay or whatever go ahead and either search for their names or you can search for my user Zegin22,Over the course of the story I will add new characters.It is pretty cool because I did add some things about the characters that may or may not be in the stories, you can also ask them how strong they are and stuff like that, their favorite food etc.

PS: I will do my best to make them as accurate as possible but sometimes the AI will make things up, but for the most part they should stick to the story lore.Also I will put a note about when I add a new character and how to find them.

Part 1.

"There is literally nothing on Yuiitsu Kihara, I have never heard of her before, not even in Academy City.When it comes to Remnant, she is a ghost; It is like she doesn't exist even in the Dark Side."

The girl with extremely long dark-red pigtails had been searching every database she could across all of Remnant.She was using the Dark Side advantages, yet so far, nothing had been revealed to her about the woman they knew as Yuiitsu Kihara.

The fluffy blonde girl hovering over her in this quiet apartment, which had belonged to the girl, also had no clue who Yuiitsu Kihara was; it had been at least an hour of searching.Frenda Seivelun and Awaki Musujime had not gone back to the Vacant hideout, because at this time, they were not sure if it was safe.

Currently, the two girls didn't know who was working with Yuiitsu Kihara and who they could trust, Frenda had to look at everything she had been told and what she discovered over these past few weeks;she had suspected many people of being part of this person she now knew was Yuiitsu Kihara, but now that she knew who this woman was, now that she had been weeded out into the open,many of her suspects were devoid of suspicion.

However, that brought with it a whole new list of possible suspects;at this current moment, she didn't even know if she could trust her own teammate, Striker, so at this point, all she could do was find Yuiitsu Kihara first;that did come with an issue though: Her power.

That power she had called World Rejector, she didn't know anything about that power, nor had she seen such a strange ability;that power had not been an esper power or a semblance, at first Frenda believed that it could have been magic, but it seemed to be more complicated than that.

All the girl seemed to need to do was raise her hand and call out a single phrase, then whatever target she was pointing that hand at was erased like it didn't exist to begin with,did that power have limits she could exploit?Was there some way to dodge it?Perhaps there were certain conditions for it to work properly.There was something she had taken note of back at Mark Fringe's house.

Frenda remembered that Yuiitsu's hand had looked stitched on, it had also seemed to be a different hand than the left, it had looked male rather than female,but she didn't understand why Yuiitsu would steal somebody else's hand; that made no sense unless the power was actually somehow confined to the right hand.

That was not a condition for an ability Frenda had ever heard of before, but she couldn't rule it out as a possibility;the question was who did that hand truly belong to if not Yuiitsu Kihara, Is it actually possible that she had stolen that hand from somebody else, perhaps World Rejector was actually a stolen power.

The fluffy blonde-haired girl had never heard of anyone stealing a power before, but something was itching at her, telling her that this was the case when it came to World Rejector;it was so far the only thing that made sense.

"In the end, could you maybe try searching for any unexplainable phenomena occurrences in the last few years?Just to be safe, I imagine if she was seen using World Rejector and somebody saw it, there would be something right?A power like that would definitely be seen as extremely odd, if she was seen using it, somebody would have put it on one of the conspiracy websites."

Awaki Musujime listened to Frenda's request thinking it could be worth a shot, so she brought up a website with multiple conspiracies and theories;this was a site that had things about Aliens and UFO sightings, The Witch, Something people called The Banshee, Batibat experiences, Ghost sightings, haunted places, a secret society, time travelers,people who could control magic, and many more things that most of Remnant called fake.

Awaki scrolled through the website called Strangers and Freaks, she found multiple stories and videos about the supernatural of Remnant, secret organizations, multiple videos of people filming UFOs;it was nothing but dead end after dead end.

"This is a waste of time, there is nothing here of worth," Awaki complained.

Frenda watched the screen then caught sight of something."Wait go back up."

Awaki rubbed her index finger along the mouse wheel and the screen rolled back up.

"Stop, right there!" Frenda yelled a little too loudly into the pigtails girl's ear.

"Ow! Why do you have to shout."

"Sorry."

Where she stopped was a comment thread about a strange sighting, of what people were calling magic, somebody had said they saw awitch,they explained that they saw a woman outside of a certain warehouse, and that she had been questioned by a police officer; that person explained that the woman sucked the man into aportal.

"That's it, that has to be World Rejector, in the end, maybe these conspiracy people really know what they are talkingabout."

"Please... I get World Rejector, but do you actually believe in all this time travel and aliens and stuff?" Awaki asked withskepticism.

"Whynot?"

"You can't beserious."

(If only you knew.) Frendathought.

The girl wasn't about to reveal that truth, but as somebody who both battled aliens and spoke to one; she fully believed in those beyond thestars.

Part 2.

It had been a little more intense than she expected;the woman before her had pretty much been like her when it came to fighting, she used no weapon, only relying on her semblance,but that semblance was something outside of the realm of what The #4 understood, Shizuri Mugino aka Meltdowner had never gone up against a person quite like this in her life.

The indigo-haired finely dressed tall woman with a shark fin sticking out of her back named Andromeda was somehow able to copy her Meltdowner, but it was more than that.

The strange golden liquid she had could transform into just about anything;it could even utilize effects that it shouldn't have been able to, it was able to turn into several forms and even use certain elements and kinetic powers, like telekinesis, pyrokinesis, cryokinesis,etc.it had seemed to be able to manipulate the physical laws of anything it came within physical contact with, it's power output had not been much,at best it was a high Level 3 to maybe a Level 4 in esper terms.

The issue was that it was like she was fighting a Level 3 or Level 4 Dark Matter;the only way Shizuri could actually understand it was to associate it with The #2 Teitoku Kakine's Dark Matter ability, a power she had faced a few times in the past.

As such she does know a little about how to deal with a power that can seemingly defy physical laws, but still,when it comes to a power that has an identity similar to that of the non-existent dark matter ability, it becomes completely unpredictable;That trigger happy monster must also take in to account that she had never actually defeated Teitoku Kakine before, she can't say she has experience in defeating a power like the one she was facing.

"I have to say, I like your little lasers, but they are pretty easy to avoid; they only fly in a straight line.And that means all I have to do is predict when they will be fired;it also helps that you're power is created by those energy balls you create beforehand since those little balls basically tell me when you're going to use your power;that being said... You're already at a disadvantage facing me."

In response to that simple claim, Shizuri Mugino clicked her tongue before speaking.

"Oh, please, if you think that you have figured my ability out that fast, you're a fucking fool;my power is much more than that... And you're about to find out what happens when you fuck with a Level 5!"

"Quite the potty mouth on you; I may have to give you a spanking, you bad girl."

Something about that statement made Shizuri shiver inside, it was like when you go out to get a bite to eat at a nice restaurant with a high reputation,but your server is so much of a pervert it ruins your experience and you end up eating as fast as you can so you can leave as soon as possible,and you don't really get to enjoy the taste of the food you had ordered.

That description is exactly spot on accurate to what Shizuri Mugino felt when facing the woman known as Andromeda.

Shizuri created a meltdowner in her hand, raised it in the air, and dragged her hand from left to right, a searing heat melted part of the floor, leaving a burn mark in its wake,the heat of that beam was enough to melt through solid steel and was even said capable of burning a hole through the planet if she lost control of her ability.

That beam did not meet the aura or body of Andromeda; it had simply hit a strange golden liquid;that liquid was in the form of a shield that only was set up in front of the woman, it did not need to surround the woman completely as Shizuri's attack was only hitting from one direction;the tall woman only needed to predict the pattern and set up her defenses accordingly.

"Too easy."

That shield Began to morph into a strange shape; it lifted into the air, surrounded Andromeda, and entered her body;this strange sight was almost sickening to Shizuri as she watched the liquid move like squid tentacles into the woman's body through any openings it could find, such as her ears, nose, mouth, Etc.

When all that liquid entered; the woman's eyes shifted their color into that same golden color; those eyes gained the same liquid in them.

Shizuri could not even count the seconds it took for Andromeda to move, one second she was standing several tens of feet away;the next she was suddenly behind her, Shizuri felt an impact into her back;it had been a burning sensation and when she stopped rolling along the floor, she realized that it was indeed one of her own meltdowner beams, though the version had been much weaker than her own.

Shizuri stood up with a deep anger coursing through her, one of the things she always hated was when somebody stole her power; it happened to her back in Academy City more times than she could count;those scientists were always copying The Level 5's abilities and adding them to military machines.She had shut down many of those projects in the past, especially that one done by The Dark Side Organization, STUDY.At this moment, Shizuri Mugino was not at all happy about her own power being used against her; she was going to do something about it.

Something new happened.

Sixteen meltdowners formed around Shizuri's body; this was something that Andromeda was not yet aware of; the woman let a smile grace her features; that smile had been nearly sadistic in a smirk.

"Oh, impressive; I didn't know you could create so many at once, but don't think it will help you, sexy."

Once again, Shizuri felt a tremor run through her body; the woman's perverted comments were not a fun thing to hear; she was just about sick of them.

"But if I were you, I would be careful.Don't forget we are five hundred feet below sea level, one wrong move, and we will both be joining the afterlife together."

This was something Shizuri Mugino had already taken into account, she was aware they were surrounded by ocean and some form of shark Grimm she had never seen before,but something about that statement confused Shizuri.

"Both? You can't breathe water?"

The tall woman let out a small chuckle."Oh darling, did you assume I was a faunus?No, honey, I'm a human. I loved sharks so much that I mutated myself into one, but unfortunately, I was unable to actually create gills, so no, I cannot breathe water.And my babies are not trained, it is not possible to train Grimm, only tame them."

"So, in other words, you would be attacked by those Grimm, too?Pathetic if you ask me."

"Oh, you're cute; I'm almost sad that you will become a meal for my babies soon."

"Tch... I doubt that will be the case."

With that all Shizuri did was wave her hand in front of her body, all sixteen of those meltdowners formed into beams, they shot forward, shifted into several directions, and surrounded the tall woman.

Her movement had been a speed almost like that of teleportation, unfortunately for her, Shizuri had calculated this outcome, when Andromeda moved behind the hot headed Dark Side Monster,she saw two meltdowners that had been in reserve behind her back, Shizuri had perfectly timed the moment the woman would move and where,she had already let those meltdowner beams fire the moment she moved.

The one second time frame was all she needed; those meltdowner beams slammed into the woman, as soon as this happened, Andromeda's golden liquid was forcefully ejected from her body;she screamed in pain as her left side was torn open; the wound had charred on the surface area, but Shizuri made certain the blood vessels would be left to burst out.

The pain of her body being opened was awful; blood poured down her side and began to form a puddle at her feet.

The woman was shocked at this due to the attack ignoring her aura, though when she checked the aura gauge on her wrist, she saw it had gone from 100% to 0% in a single attack.This told her something that shocked her to her very core.

Shizuri Mugino's meltdowner had not ignored her aura protection, rather it destroyed her aura entirely; the tall woman's aura was not capable of holding out against the powerful burningbeam.

Shizuri saw this andsmiled.

"You see, my power is very powerful, it can destroy a weak aura instantly... It seems your aura was not strong enough to stand against it; makessense."

(I have never heard of a semblance so strong before; it took her oneattack.If I get hit with another one of those beams, I will be saying goodbye to this world tonight.) Andromedathought.

Shizuri let a sadistic grin out as she had quickly gained the upper hand over thiswoman.

Part 3.

"That semblance of yours is pretty damn annoying."

Kaede Nath stood in the office building, the exits were sealed off, so in this instance, she had to fight the spiky-haired blonde boy known as Motoharu Tsuchimikado;she was looking for a spot she could use as an exit, especially now that she knew that her little brother Enzo Nath was not kidnapped, but she still needed to know he was okay,her top priority was the safety of her brother.

That is why Kaede Nath was not going to play around like she typically tended to do.This fight was similar in a sense to the battle she had with The Stone; it was not a fight she could afford to lose.

Fortunately for her, this location was perfect for her to use her esper ability; it was actually as if this was more in her favor; just about everything in this room could become her weapon.Kaede smiled and licked her lips before she looked to her left; looking at a small office desk, she lifted her palm, pulled her arm back, and swung that same arm in a diagonal pattern.

This was not just a simple move for show, when this action took place a shockwave of pressure was sent through the room,like an invisible force was tearing a string in two the desk was torn in two pieces creating sharp splintery edges,both of these edges were suddenly launched by an invisible force and they moved just over a speed that Motoharu Tsuchimikado could react to properly,he had no choice but to take a hit from at least one of those simple table parts turned into a deadly weapon.

While Motoharu had been forced to allow his aura to take a hit, he still had something up his sleeve that Kaede was not prepared to deal with.

The boy raised his gun; that gun became surrounded by three elements: wind, lightning, and frost.This did not take the shape of dust.This energy was something else entirely; though it was similar to dust, this was magic.

The laws of magic were something that Kaede was aware of in its true existence in this world, but she still had no true understanding of that unboundforce;the laws of magic didn't follow the laws of science in many cases; spells seemed to be shaped under different structures and conceptsentirely.

Due to the semblance the boy had the bullet he fired from the chamber followed a directional path that did not at all match the direction in which the gun had beenpointed,the bullet was fired off into the left side of the room, but instead of it hitting something at random on the left side of the officeroom;it hit Kaede's shoulder on her right side and slightlybehind.

(How does that damn semblancework?His bullets seem to hit from the opposite direction of which way heaims.)

Kaede Nath had been dealing with the boy for a bit over fifteen minutes, and during the entire fight, she had been dealing with the boy hitting her from severallocations;slowly, her aura had beendropping.

So that is why the girl decided to take a break and slowdown;she began to calculate the entire situation, taking into account the boy's semblance, his magic, and all of the other factors in thisroom.

"I can see your trying to escape this room, but I'm afraid that won't be happening anytimesoon."

The words of the boy only brought a sadistic grin to the girl'sface."Oh? Is that what you think? Ha ha ha ha ha ha haha!You underestimate a high-level esper's brain; in fact, I justrealized..."

She looked around the room for a moment then looked back at Motoharu in a callousfashion.

"You actually gave me exactly what I needed toescape."

The boy was at first confused; then all the Nanis Metal began vibrating like it was attempting to rip itself off of the walls aroundhim;the room shook from the pressure, and the boy felt pressure pushing against his body, metal that was controlled by nanobots ripped from the wall and flew around theroom.

That metal began to form into a large spear in the air above Kaede; the girl looked ahead of her; her calculations were completed, and she didn't miss a singlevariable.

"As an esper whose power is not fit for combat, you are at a disadvantage against a combat esper like myself, because you can't understand the proper calculations to resist something likethis,your calculations can only work for your own body, you can only manipulate the micro, you face unknown territory when it comes to themacro."

With those words, Kaede Nath let the spear of pressurized Nanis Metalfly.

Part 4.

The boy coughed up several patches of blood onto the ground; he looked over his body; his arm had begun growing back; it had been severed completely, his internal organs were leaking out.

The boy leaned against a building in a safe location and spit blood out of his mouth, the feeling of teeth growing back in was actually more painful than he expected.

His right side was healing well enough from his body nearly being torn in half.

Motoharu Tsuchimikado pulled his sunglasses off his face, looked down at them, and frowned.

"This was my favorite pair too."

The glasses were no longer usable.He could only frown in disappointment; healing was also taking a toll on his pain tolerance;the boy coughed up more blood, pressed his body against the wall, and let himself slide down with gravity as his guide.

"It's like that albino monster once said to me back in Group: the difference between low-level espers and high-level espers is night and day;I never really stood a chance to begin with... And as Accelerator would say... Damnit all."

Part 5.

"Are you sure you're okay Mark?"

"If you keep annoying me with your constant questions I'm going to slice out your tongue."

In response to that sentence she stuck out her tongue playfully with alaugh.

The girl known as Olivia Crystal Vesper and the boy known as Mark Fringe had gone to Mistral and comeback.Now, the two had to regroup and make a new plan; thanks to Olivia's skills, they were able to break into a randomhome.

The girl killed the husband and wife in the home, so they could take it over as their current new base ofoperations.Frenda Seivelun had attacked him early, while he was prepared for anything, he didn't expect to run into Molly Mayham, now with his old trap house gone, he needed a newplan.

Part 6.

She successfully landed a few blows, but that didn't mean she had immediately won this fight;the tall Indigo woman before her had that strange semblance knocked out of her body, but she still had full control of it;that power was something that Shizuri Mugino still couldn't fully grasp the concept of.The #4 had been in countless fights in the darkness of Academy City and on Remnant and it was thanks to most of these fights that she grew to where she had.

Just because she landed a couple of hits on the woman didn't mean she would let her guard down or underestimate this woman before her.Andromeda had already proven to be a very formidable opponent, in the past Shizuri would have thought herself to be invincible against anyone who was not a Level 5,but after losing to not one but two Level 0 espers on separate occasions, Shizuri now understood that while she was very powerful as a Level 5 esper, she was not invincible, she was not a god.

She was fighting for her life here, if she gave this woman too much of an opening she could very well be killed,so the tea-haired Dark Side monster took in every detail and analyzed every single aspect of the battle, she was taking every possibility into account,she knew one misstep and everything could go wrong.

Shizuri had three meltdowners floating around her body as she watched the tall woman like a hawk;the girl didn't seem to be able to use her semblance to enhance her body anymore, so this fight had become a ranged battle;neither Shizuri nor Andromeda was making any moves in the direction of the other.Both of them relied solely on their abilities; this was the way Shizuri fought in the first place, so she was used to fighting in this fashion.

All Shizuri needed to do was push her hand forward;those three meltdowners flew at a speed fast enough to bypass a super vehicle by miles, the scorching beams which could burn a hole in some of the world's strongest metals,and even burn a hole in the planet entirely, did not reach their target.

A golden liquid twisted in a 45 degree angle intercepting the beams;that power's laws shifted again and those beams took a new direction in a form that was similar to The #1's vector reflection, but this was not vector reflection, it was a mirror,that power created a mirror effect and reversed the direction of those beams, the laws of that power were beyond simple physics.

Shizuri was capable of controlling her own power when it was used against her so she only had to move her hand from one direction to another to send those beams in a harmless direction,those beams were sent away as she pushed them off away from her body, this was something Shizuri Mugino could do thanks to her power following the laws of Academy City electromasters.

As despite her power being so strange and unique, at the end of the day, Shizuri Mugino aka Meltdowner, Academy City's #4, was still classified as an electromaster esper, not unlike The #3 Railgun.

Andromeda grabbed her golden liquid out of the air in front of her; she brought her hand back like a baseball pitcher and threw it forward.

All Shizuri had to do was twist her right arm, only a single finger had been pushed out, she raised her index finger, twisted her arm in a circle, and created a meltdowner on that finger.

The motion of that move had created a large green light, that light formed a shield of sorts; the golden liquid was burned up upon entering the extremely hot electron shield.Shizuri then pushed her hand forward, and from that shield, something burst out.

Six meltdowner beams had burst from every corner, their destination clear as they flew at Andromeda, the woman thinking quickly.She raised her hand and a sword formed out of that golden liquid, the sword switched into ice, this ice was somehow cold enough to physically freeze the meltdowner beams on contact,all she needed to do was swing her sword into them.

The meltdowner beams were frozen and shattered like a wine glass smashing against a concrete wall.

Shizuri only clicked her tongue; this was an outcome she had expected; that golden liquid had been something beyond the physical laws of the world;it had interfered with things in a similar fashion to dark matter; it was like a strange concept that she just couldn't wrap her personal reality around.

Yet that didn't mean too much, just because an esper couldn't understand the laws of a power didn't mean they couldn't discover ways to exploit it and combat it.

"I have to admit little girl... You really do know how to make things interesting; your intelligence is also well beyond most kids your age;in fact, I have met veteran huntsmen and huntresses who have not pulled out some of the moves you have executed tonight."

Another two meltdowners shot out, but like before, they were frozen solid by that sword.

"You know in most fights, most people don't praise their enemy."

"You know, I could use somebody with your skills and power, you would do well in Entrilgul... What do you say?Want to work for me?"

Shizuri almost laughed at the bizarre invitation to join the woman.

"No thanks, Xzalana Ekaterina may not be a very impressive leader, but she is not a weirdo pervert like you, since the moment I walked in this room,I have had the stranger danger rape whistle on standby, You give me the fucking creeps ten times over, I don't think I have met a more disgusting person before."

The woman smiled, then she let out a laugh before speaking again."Oh, you wound me; I'm not going to rape such a beautiful specimen, at least not on the first date, besides it wouldn't be rape, maybe a lick or two, but not a full-on rape... Yet."

(It's that creepy way she talks and acts that turns me off of her; she is even worse than that one Kihara I killed back in Academy City.He was creepy, but she is absolutely disgusting.)

"Like I said. no, I will not be joining you.But if you want to stand still and let me kill you so I can complete my job, then be my guest, that would be a big help."

After that statement, the woman couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out into a fit of laughter."Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!You're so fucking cute! I was offering you that invitation to see if you would take it, because lovely... You won't be leaving here alive otherwise."

A sudden pain was felt, a mushy sound was heard, and the next thing Shizuri felt was her insides jumping out; she doubled over, coughed, and fell to her knees.What came out of Shizuri's mouth was not just blood, something was in that blood.

A golden substance in the form of liquid, this had been much thicker than the liquid that she had seen from Andromeda before, but this was different, there had been something in that golden liquid.Something that looked strange yet familiar to The #4 monster, small spikes sat at the edges of little balls no bigger than an airsoft BB;that shape looked almost like an infected bacterial substance, very similar to when someone gets infected with a virus,then goes to the doctor and gets a scan only to find that they indeed do have an infection.

However, this infection was no simple virus, it felt like blades were tearing out her insides ripping her internal organs apart like paper.

She could feel it tearing through her: stomach, liver, lungs, intestines, and other organs; it almost acted like corrupted nanobots, the inside of her body was being shredded apart.

"Must be painful, right? My gold water can turn completely microscopic; you didn't even notice it.If you want to take my offer and become mine, I can make that pain go away."

Shizuri fell to the ground, her body locked up, the gold water took control of her nerves and every other part of her body.

"Go... Fu..Fuck...y-o... yourself!"

The woman sighed and sent a command to her semblance, in the next moment Shizuri felt the heat in her body increasing to unbearable levels, the temperature must have risen to at least 190 Fahrenheit,she was being cooked from the inside like a piece of barbecue chicken, it felt like she had been the next entree for some famous chefs best menu.

Shizuri Mugino could not properly calculate; she couldn't feel her fingertips, she could no longer even speak, she could only cough out more blood, then something happened.

A face shifted through her mind, the face of a boy; she saw herself facing this boy in combat in Denmark;it had been nearly two years since that time, but she could remember it like it was yesterday.Touma Kamijou, that boy's face, that boy's words, it was something about that boy, it made her want to continue, it made her want to never give up.

That spiky-haired boy had fought the entire world by himself to protect the terrorist Othinus; if he could do that as a Level 0, then she should be able to beat a perverted woman as a Level 5.

Shizuri's body glowed a bright blue, her semblance was not something she used often, she still barely understood it all that much, sometimes it was like her semblance had a mind of its own,but at this moment she used it hoping she would get the correct role, and that was exactly what she got.

The gold water began being forced out of her system, her organs, her skin, all of her body began to heal from the power of her semblance.

"What!? You can regenerate!? That's not possible!A semblance can't do something like that!"

Andromeda was shocked and for the first time in this fight, she looked scared; she was not scared because the Level 5 monster healed her own body;no, rather, she was scared of what she was suddenly looking at.Shizuri Mugino stood back up, she looked right ahead, surrounding her were one hundred and fifty meltdowners.

(There is no way I can deal with that many, how can she create that many!?)

Andromeda didn't have much time, as those meltdowners were all focused on her, she created as many shields as she could, the two forces met and a blinding light shined as aresult,the force was enough to leave a crack in the dome around them, drops of water began to drip through, The shark Grimm noticed this and they began zoning in on thedome.

When the light died down the tall woman was an inch away from death, her body was basically charred, her left eye was missing, her skin was burned off, and she was bleedinginternally.

"Damn, it seems you were the betterfighter.But. Like I said before... You will not be leaving this placealive."

Andromeda wheezed that statement out before she slowly pulled out a remote, and clicked a button, the door behind Shizuri suddenly lockedtightly,then the girl pointed her hand in the direction of the crack on the dome, her semblance formed into a singlemeltdowner.

Shizuri saw the ball too late as that beam perfectly struck that crack, a sound of glass cracking was heard going through the entire dome, then the whole thingcollapsed.

Part 7.

May 29th, 1:27 PM.

"In the end, Are you sure this is the place?"

"This was the location listed on the website, so unless that was bullshit, this is the place."

Two girls were standing outside of a large facility, this facility was actually a base of operations for the Dark Side Organization The Claw,it could have seen better days if the massive hole in the side of the building was any indication, this place was well hidden on an unused and forgotten road just at the edge of the city of Vale.

It had been a bit of a search to find it, Frenda Seivelun and Awaki Musujime had finally found this place after three days of searching, and now that they made it,it would definitely turn any normal person away, since this place was pretty much next to the woods, it had seen a lot of Grimm so not many people would be too much in a hurry to come here.

It was the perfect place for a hideout of an organization that bathed in darkness, But if one did come to this building,they would certainly have reported the smell of rotting flesh that was coming from the building;Frenda Seivelun and Awaki Musujime were the unfortunate ones to have their noses assaulted by that disgusting smell.

For the two girls, it wasn't the worst thing in the world; they both had dealt with this smell in the past, but it didn't mean they didn't notice it.

When they entered thatfacility, they found what looked like a slaughterhouse and Frenda used her semblance's Recognition to see what may have taken place,due to the bodies being here for what had seemed like weeks maybe even a monthshe couldn't actually see the scene playout,but she could see the steps that were taken and identify whom those steps belonged to, She could also hear voices of the past,most she didn't recognize but one shedid.

"In the end, Kaede Ibotanokikouji was here, I assume she killed all of thesepeople.And she was talking to somebody over anintercom.Meaning she was working with somebody, but it didn't sound like Yuiitsu Kihara; sounded like the voice of a child no older than seven or eight, I wouldsay."

Awaki looked a little lost at thatstatement."Wait, why would she attack her owngroup?Did they do something wrong and she is just a ruthlessboss?"

"No, it seems more like she was looking for somebody called The Stone, he was apparently the previous leader of TheClaw."

Awaki began to understand. "Okay, so she killed the previous leader, then that made her the new one; you think she knew that The Claw would make her the new leaderbeforehand?"

Frenda looked around amoment."In the end, it is hard to tell,really.I would say that it would have to be that she didn't know about it, and she was planning on attacking The Claw first, then she changed her tune when they made her the nextleader.Unfortunately, this gives us nothing on Yuiitsu Kihara, she was here as Molly Mayham... But All told, I don't know why or what she was after here," Frendaexplained.

She looked around a bit more then her eyes noticedsomething.

The fluffy blonde-haired girl made her way to a certain location, and Awaki followedher.

"There was a fight here post slaughter, it seems Molly Mayham...aka Yuiitsu Kihara fought somebody, I can tell by the past trail, these were a much smaller set offeet,which probably means the girl was short or young, and for some reason she was also barefoot, it's possible she was a captured victim or something andescaped,maybe she ran into Yuiitsu Kihara and thought she was a surviving Claw member and attackedher."

Awaki nodded before she put in her twocents."It may also be possible that she was somebody trying to escape from Yuiitsu, or maybe she was actually hunting her; that is anotherpossibility."

That statement made Frenda think deeply about it, was thatpossible?could that have been thecase?

(If somebody was hunting her,then...)

Frenda looked back atAwaki.

"If that is the case, there may be another Academy City esper in Vale hunting down Yuiitsu, or maybe even amagician."

"Maybe it is the person who that World Rejector power actually belongsto."

"No, in the end, I doubt that, the pair of feet are definitely female, and they are small, so it could be a really shortadult,but it makes more sense for it to be a girl no older than at least thirteen or so, World Rejector was the hand of a male for certain, so it wouldn't be that, but that beingsaid.It is possible that this person was close to the person whom World Rejector originally belongedto."

Frenda lifted her foot and stepped on the head of one of the rotting corpses, pushing the head to the left; when she did this, a few maggots spilled out of the half-severedneck;they fell onto the ground and moved around in a way that made Awaki's stomachturn.

"Based on these incisions, this was not a weapon; it was like they were cut by nothing but pressurized air; in other words, this was definitely Kaede Ibotanokikouji's esperability."

"So, she just came here forinformation?Did we get anything out of thistrip?"

"Not much, in the end, we got more questions really, but we got some new information, we now know that somebody else is involved in all ofthis,we know that Kaede Ibotanokikouji was working with somebody before The Claw and that she is probably in bed with YuiitsuKihara,though we don't know if she only knows Molly Mayham or if she actually knows the real Yuiitsu, I'm going to assume the former, I doubt that she knows that Molly Mayham is YuiitsuKihara."

Frenda took her foot off of the dead body when she sensed a familiar aura come into the building behindthem.

(In the end, you have to be fucking kidding me.) Frenda thought before a voice sounded out behindher.

"Frenda Seivelun!? What on Remnant are you doing in a place likethis!?"

"In the end, Fuck me," Frendasighed.

Part 8.

She was still conflicted with this whole thing despite accepting the mission; it still felt very wrong to do something as what the woman had agreed upon.Why did she agree to something like this?Or Was she afraid of letting this situation go too far?Was there some other reason? On top of that.

"I- d-don't understand? You work for the Dark Side?"

Winter Schnee was shocked she had followed up on a lead, that lead had brought her to an old factory on the outskirts of Vale.When she arrived there, she found bodies, body parts, blood, brain matter; it was a horrific scene;she was already aware that this was the work of Aihana Etsu, so she didn't blame the girls before her for this mass homicide.

There was a distinct smell coming off of those bodies; it was not a pleasant smell; one could compare that smell to the smell of something gone to rot, though it was much stronger;the bodies had been in this place untouched for weeks.

Most of the corpses had gone to rot, flies were basically all over, many of the bodies and body parts were covered in maggots,any normal person would have most likely vomited from just the sight alone, but the smell was something that made Winter Schnee's stomach turn inside out,She wanted to empty the contents of her lunch right here.

However, this was not the first time the Atlas Specialist had come across rotting corpses, but it was not like she could just go eat some dinner after dealing with such smells and sights;that being said she was probably not going to be eating dinner tonight.

It had been three days since she received her mission from General Ironwood and Ozpin, While searching the Dark Side, it would be safe to say the last thing she expected to discover was this,the last person she would have expected to find would be a Beacon student, especially one who was close friends with her little sister Weiss Schnee.

"What, exactly is going on here?"

Winter was finally able to ask the correct question after she composed herself; it was odd to find this girl here of all the people she could have run into; why was she here?

The girl in question had on a strange-looking school uniform, one that didn't match the Beacon Academy uniform or any of the other Huntsmen Academies;it consisted of a small white skirt, a black blazer, dark brown stockings, and a pair of black loafers.

Winter looked at the fluffy blonde girl with skepticism, she was surprised to find her here, and the girl with her didn't look like she was any form of law enforcement,she didn't even look like she was a member of any school either, the girl with long pigtails looked like she may be a Dark Side criminal.

"In the end, it's a long story... And very complicated."

Frenda Seivelun's response was almost nonchalant, it was as if she was not worried at all about being caught.

The first thing Winter noticed about the girl was that she didn't seem bothered one bit by the sight around her, nor the smell, this told Winter that Frenda was used to seeing this sort of thing,in turn, that only further increased her suspicions of the fluffy blonde-haired girl; the whole thing was strange and she could only ask for an explanation.

After Winter Schnee voiced her concerns and asked for an explanation, Frenda Seivelun had no choice but to explain, especially after Winter had threatened her with arrest if she refused.

With a deep breath, Frenda began to explain what was actually going on in the Dark Side of the world, she explained the truth about Aihana Etsu or as she knew her, Kaede Ibotanokikouji,Winter could tell the girl had left out many details, but ultimately the explanation about why and what this Dark Side War, it was enough for her.

"So, you are after Ahi... Kaede Ibotanokikouji and Mark Fringe?Do you understand the danger of that decision?"

"Mark Fringe is after me, I'm not going to let him hurt somebody else to get to me."

"You haven't explained why Mark Fringe is after you in the first place.And if he was after you why did he attack your sister?"

Winter leaned against a nearby pole, careful to avoid the dried-up old blood that stained it.

Frenda raised her hands above her head, clicked her tongue, and placed her hands a top her French beret before she answered."Mark was probably hired by Kaede Ibotanokikouji, In the end, it makes sense.Kaede Ibotanokikouji... She is somebody I'm sort of acquainted with, my old team ran into her, she and her group tried to steal our name,back then she was running an illegal combat arena called The Coliseum, it was a place that promised anyone who won a few million lien;but in truth, it was just a place where people with power could watch poor people kill each other for their entertainment, they, didn't care about age either,they had kids as young as ten battle adults sometimes."

Listening to the explanation about The Coliseum, Winter felt a bit of anger rise in her being;the very thought of making people fight for money and even putting children in unfair fights for nothing more than entertainment; the thought that this was all to the death as well.It made her want to take down Kaede Ibotanokikouji that much more.

(What a horrible thing to do, What kind of sick people get off on watching people kill each other?) Winter thought.

"Yeah, in the end, it was also an unfair situation too; Kaede set it up in a way that nobody could actually win the money;All told, those people would die for nothing more than the entertainment of the rich."

Winter couldn't believe people could be so horrible in this world, so even if somebody won their fights they still never received payment?That was just disgusting in the eyes of The Atlas Specialist.

"How did that work?"

"In the end, Kaede had a right-hand girl when somebody finally rose the ranks to the top of the ladder... That person was to go up against that girl;she could easily tear people apart, and if somebody was too strong for her to beat which was rare, Kaede would use her semblance to help cheat for her,in other words... Nobody could ever actually win."

"That is... Barbaric!"

All of this had started to show Winter Schnee what a horrible person the girl calling herself Aihana Etsu really was, though she still had one more question.

"So, why does she hate you so much that she would hire an assassin to kill you?"

"My old team ITEM, we shut down her little battle arena, killed a lot of her employees, including everyone on her team, and stole the prize money for ourselves;at the same time, they took somebody from us as well, Choubi Hanano.They kidnapped her and killed her, she was the newest member of our team at the time," Frenda explained half truthfully.

Winter could tell there was more to that story, but she ultimately decided to leave it alone.

"So, you came here to track Kaede Ibotanokikouji's trail then?"

"Pretty much." The girl next to Frenda, who Winter learned was named Awaki Musujime, was the one to answer that question.

"So, this was a dead end then huh?I was tracking her too."

Winter Schnee was actually bluffing about arresting Frenda before, she could not make an arrest when she herself was conducting an illegal operation,Everything she was doing was not officially by the book, if she herself was caught, not only would she be sent to prison, but so would James Ironwood and Ozpin,So at this moment Winter was basically in the same boat as these Dark Side criminals.

"In the end, actually no. These were all members of The Claw, I recently ran into them, and they told me that Kaede was actually appointed leader by killing the previous leader;it seems they have an honor system for appointing leaders, one that is not unlike how a lion pride works."

"So, basically... They appoint whoever kills the previous leader as the new leader?"

"In the end, that's how it looks, I guess it doesn't matter whether or not that person was a part of the organization or not, she killed a bunch of them In search of the leader,it's possible she knew she couldn't take over the Darkness by herself and wanted to become the leader."

A bit later,FrendaSeivelun and Awaki Musujime, along with Winter, were at a Starlien's.They were all drinking hot coffee despite it being currently midday, it had been Winter Schnee's first time teleporting but Awaki made a joke about her being impressed she didn't vomit;the girls agreed to work together;as Frenda took a sip of her coffee, she got a text alert on herscroll.

She finished her sip, set her cup back on the table in this near-summer heat, and took her scroll out of herpocket.Clicking it open she checked the number only to find there was not one, but there was amessage.

The message had a certain set of coordinates and a time along with today's date.The message had been from that assassin boy MarkFringe.It was telling her to meet him tonight at the location he gave her; tonight was the night one of them woulddie.

Part 9.

"Damn it, it's been three fucking days!How is this not working!?"

Shizuri Mugino had tried a number of laundry detergents to get the blood out of her favorite jacket;even days later, she still had the blood of Andromeda staining her clothes, this was something that always got under her skin back in ITEM,she always hated getting blood in her clothes because it was hard to remove said blood.

Shizuri Mugino stood in a hotel bathroom.It had been three days since she fought Andromeda, and there was a lot on her mind; she had completed her job, gone to meet Xzalana Ekaterina, Got her paycheck, and got a new hotel.

Though what had been on her mind since May 26th was.

(Why did they save me? Who the hell is that person anyway?What did they want? When they called themselves Aihana Etsu, I honestly didn't believe them;I have run into my fair share of "Aihana Etsu's" back in Academy City, One of those being Kaede Ibotanokikouji, Who I'm certain is under that mask.But considering that person could go five hundred feet below sea level, be completely fine, and save me without any real effort.)

(Not only does that prove they are the real Aihana Etsu but it proves them to be one of the strongest Level 5's, that doesn't make sense,everything I heard and learned about The #6 said they were actually the weakest of all the Level 5 espers, but that person, what even was that?)

The Glass had made a cracking sound, this sound traveled through the entire dome, before the tea-haired girl could react the dome had completely collapsed,water rushed in and the room began filling with water, those Shark Grimm which had been surrounding the dome began to pour into the area, they had a thirst for blood.

Those sharks were certainly not friendly, Shizuri couldn't start firing meltdowners since it would probably end up increasing the water around her to a boil,she would end up cooking herself like a boiled crab, the girl had no weapon to fight with, she could not do anything to defend as those sharks closed in on her.

Shizuri could not hold her breath forever; she would have to breathe in on instinct and swallow water; she looked around herself, saw sharks closing in, and without any other options, raised her hand.

She knew creating a meltdowner here would be a huge risk, but she had only one choice, it was either take a risk to survive with injury or be ripped apart by the predators surrounding her.

But then something happened.

A high-pitched whistling sound was heard, and a bright light shined throughout the ocean, illuminating the water like the night lights of a city; the light surrounded the creatures and then.

(What happened!?)

Shizuri was flabbergasted, all the Shark Grimm had frozen still, it was as if they were frozen in time, the water became a solid still and she could suddenly breathe without swallowing water,it was as if reality was broken, physical laws were shifting into impossible patterns, it didn't make any sense at all.

She saw something, an astral form, the silhouette of a body was floating in the water, it looked only of a flowing energy surrounded by the water, physical laws twisted around it,time was literally not moving at all, everything it did made no sense, then.

Coughing out water she woke up on a nearby beach, Shizuri Mugino took a look at her surroundings and she was confused, she didn't even know how she got on a beach,that dome had been in the middle of the ocean, five hundred feet below sea level, and one hundred and thirty-two miles away from any sort of land.

(Was that Teleportation? But even the strongest teleporting esper in Academy City couldn't accomplish something like that, what the fuck just happened!?) Shizuri thought.

That same astral projection stood a few feet from her, she looked up at it, stood up, and used her left hand to brush the sand off that was clinging to her legs.

Suddenly, that projection began to speak; its voice had sounded the same as when Aihana Etsu contacted her."I didn't save you because it was the right thing to do, I could have just as easily left you to die, but I need something from you,I gave you the location of Andromeda for access to your group's database, after being given access to search through that data center, I concluded what I needed to."

"So, now I need something else from you, since I was the one to save you, you can repay me easily, you see I need more information on The Rel... No, rather I will call it an Artifact,that information is not important to you."

Shizuri was confused, the more she heard this cryptic speaking from The True Aihana Etsu, she only grew more curious."What are you even talking about?"

"All you need to know is in the very near future, you are going to encounter a woman named Glynda Goodwitch; I know that encounter will end in bloodshed... And that is what I'm after.You see she doesn't even know Ozpin hid this in such a way."

Shizuri sighed as she continued trying to clean her jacket in the sink, she couldn't simply take it to the cleaners, there would be too many questions asked,it was unfortunate that the hotels in Vale did not have built-in laundry systems like the hotels in Atlas did, she would have no trouble with one of those machines,maybe she should buy her own personal one.

As the tea-haired girl sat against the wall she thought back to that.Why was Aihana Etsu after this Glynda Goodwitch?How did they know she would encounter this woman?And why did they need her? Those were the questions the girl could only ask herself.

What that person told her had not been much, but as she was always naturally curious, she wanted to know what was going on.The most mysterious Level 5 had withheld certain details about whatever they are after, what was this artifact they are so interested in?Why do they want it? What does it do?And how is this Glynda Goodwitch person involved?

One name was mentioned that she did know:The name Ozpin, she knew that Ozpin was the headmaster at Beacon Academy, but she also knew she couldn't just go snooping around Beacon Academy,The security there was pretty top notch,especially after the attack on the school a few days ago, it was all over the news that the leader of The Spiders Mafia had been arrested,while the attack on Beacon was not on the news;her being curious as normal, She looked into it and found out that was what happened.

She didn't know much, but after searching through the data banks of the Dark Side information on the outside world,Shizuri discovered that Glynda Goodwitch was a Veteran Huntress and teacher at Beacon Academy.So that still irked her with the question.What was she hiding that Aihana Etsu wanted.

Based on what they said, she was going to have a future encounter with GlyndaGoodwitch;that meant that person had Precognition or some form of Precognitive esper ability, but they displayed something completely different back in the ocean five hundred feet below sealevel,was it Duel-Skill? Could Aihana Etsu be a Level 5 with two esperabilities?Maybe it was a semblance? Or possibly a different set of rules she didn'tunderstand.

She looked at her jacket in her hand, the blood had not gone anywhere, realizing she may need to either buy a very expensive technological cleaning device or just buy a newjacket,she weighed the options and which was more cost-effective andconvenient.

After thinking a moment she decided that buying a new jacket at the mall would be the better option, in the longrun,a machine or one of the portable washers that were commonly found in Atlas would be a longer-lasting option and that is why she didn't throw her jacketaway,but at the moment a trip to Atlas and buying one of either machine was something she could afford she would rather not spend that much at themoment.

So she got up, checked her scroll, shut off the Floatscreen, and walked out of herroom.

When she reached the lobby, she went to the vending machine, got a green tea, and walked out into the city, her destination was not far, she made sure the hotel she got was close to The ValeMall,this was because of her unhealthy shopping habits, she still bought loads of items almost daily, like she did back in AcademyCity.

Maybe this trip for a new jacket was not because she didn't want to buy a machine, but because she wanted to feed her shoppingaddiction.

Part 10.

Glynda Goodwitch was sitting at a round table in an outside eating area in the city of Vale.She had gone out to get a quick lunch at one of her favorite shops, but the most important item was the pink strawberry cupcakes;the woman may have had a rough exterior, but she had a weakness for these cupcakes.

As the woman bit into a cupcake from a box of a dozen, her glasses fell into the frosting,the teacher silently let out a curse as the frosting covered the right lens and some even got on the left one as well,she took off her glasses being careful as to not crack them as they were old and fragile.

This particular pair of glasses had actually been a gift from Ozpin years ago when she was still a student at Beacon Academy,she had kept them in almost pristine condition since she was a seventeen-year-old and she was not going to lose them now.

She grabbed a napkin, spit on it, and carefully wiped the edges of the lens;using saliva was not ideal, but she wasn't about to pour her coffee on them, and the only two liquids she had access to at the moment were coffee or her own saliva,choosing the latter was the better option.

When she finished cleaning off the creamy pink frosting, she used a dry napkin to get rid of the excess saliva, she wiped it clean, threw the napkin away,and set her glasses on the table to avoid any further accidents.

Unfortunately, before she could eat another cupcake, she was interrupted.

Her scroll received a text.

Thinking it was maybe Ozpin she pulled it out, when she looked at the number she saw that it was not Ozpin rather an anonymous person under the name The #6, she didn't understand what that was for,but all the text had said was "watch me" attached to the text was a video.

She pressed play, and what played shocked her;the footage showed a tea-haired girl with some strange laser semblance killing prison guards at the Vale prison, which had been broken into not long ago.Then it showed somebody who was once one of her students and somebody she grew fond of being murdered by the mysterious woman.

Mass Murder and the murder of a Veteran Huntress, plus breaking out the prisoners, put this woman as Vale's most wanted;her entire lunch had been ruined, and she was going to find and arrest this woman.

After the video footage ended another text came in immediately.

The #6: Her name is Shizuri Mugino, she will be at The Vale Mall; if you leave now, you can catch her; I'm just a concerned citizen scared for my safety; I don't feel safe with her on the loose.

Glynda questioned the "concerned citizen" part, considering this person hacked her scroll, which was already illegal, but at the moment Shizuri Mugino was the priority,it had been a long time since she had done any huntress work, but she was ready, she fought for justice and she was not about to let this villain be on the loose in society any longer.

Glynda still questioned the person though, especially when she found she could not send a text back to the person; it only popped up an error message when she tried saying the number didn't exist;that was extremely suspicious, but if she couldn't reach that person it didn't matter.

Glynda stood up from her seat, picked up her box of cupcakes, put her glasses back on, walked to her car, placed her cupcakes in the passenger seat, and got in on the driver's side;she started her car and drove away in the direction of The ValeMall.

Part 11.

The current look of Frenda Seivelun would have definitely raised questions in such a suburban residential neighborhood;the girl was currently in an all-black outfit with a black cloth mask over her face, the fluffy blonde girl looked like some kind of ninja or something to the woman who was with her.

Winter Schnee at the moment, was in no position to exactly judge the girl;she was currently conducting a highly illegal operation, if she was caught doing what was basically cold-blooded murder, she would be thrown in prison.

The two were currently in a neighborhood that was apparently connected to Aihana Etsu or as she learned recently Kaede Ibotanokikouji,though what shocked her was how Frenda was able to use the bus with that outfit that made her look like some sort of cat burglar, how had nobody on the bus even question it?did she have some type of semblance that masked her presence to people right in front of her?

Winter Schnee had absolutely no clue how the girl did some of the things she could do, Frenda Seivelun was a truly strange person.

When they were at that warehouse they found something.Frenda found something that would possibly lead them to Kaede Ibotanokikouji.Frenda would have loved to have Awaki with her, but she couldn't reveal Yuiitsu Kihara to Winter Schnee,so she decided she would help Winter while Awaki Musujime continued the search for that psycho-scientist Yuiitsu Kihara.

While she was there she used her semblance on a piece of cloth, that cloth had been torn off of Kaede Ibotanokikouji's coat she wore the night she attacked that place,thanks to having this Frenda was able to use this to trace every step Kaede Ibotanokikouji took that evening with her semblance's recognition ability, after a few other places,it eventually led her to this neighborhood.

The strange thing to Frenda and Winter was why they were led to such an upscale suburban residential neighborhood, it was even possible that this place was actually where Kaede's house was.

The two walked down the sidewalk until they reached a certain home a little more than halfway down the road of the neighborhood; the place had seemed empty;it looked as if nobody was home, so Frenda did something Winter couldn't believe;she seemed to forget she was conducting an illegal operation as she watched the ninja-like fluffy blonde-haired girl commit a federal crime right in front of her.

She watched Frenda walk up to the front door, she pulled out a small device, clicked a button, and a screen scanned over the house.

It moved over like a large flashlight; it was bright enough that even though the sun was up, it still shined through.

"No alarm system active, in the end, good news."

The shock was evident on Winter's face but she said nothing.

(Pretty sure that is government technology, it is highly illegal for a civilian even a Huntress to have access to such a thing, where did she get that?)

Winter was even more shocked by what she witnessed the fluffy blonde girl do next, the girl pulled out a kit of some kind, took metal tools from it, stuck those tools in the locks,and fiddled with it for only 1.3 seconds.The door opened without resistance.

(Great, now we're breaking and entering too?This is just getting better.)

Winter didn't say anything about it, as at that moment, she felt it wasn't her place; she followed Frenda into the house, shut the door, and made sure all the blinds were closed in the average home.

The two looked around the house.It was not very special, and at first, it didn't look like it had anything to hide, that was until They looked at the photos;most of the photos on the wall were nothing much, except that Winter Schnee immediately recognized the man in some of the photos.

"Captain Temperance?" Winter asked nobody in particular.

She looked over the photos on the wall while Frenda looked through the mail, it was certainly recently touched, so that told her this was the home of Captain Temperance,the mail had been only addressed to "current resident" It seemed Captain Temperance had been hiding his name, which raised suspicion in the fluffy blonde-haired girl.

Frenda wandered through the home, checking rooms to see if somebody was in the house.She had luckily found nobody, but she did find a child's room, two bathrooms, a room with not much in it, a room with a queen-sized bed, and an office space.

She sat at the desk, turned on the computer, and when the screen was up she used a special hacking device to bypass the password, when she was in she broke into multiple files,most of it was useless except for a certain certificate, for a legal adoption, A girl named Kaede Ibotanokikouji Nath.

(Kaede Nath? Hmm kinda like how my name is actually Frenda Rose-Xaio Long Seivelun in this world, so Kaede Ibotanokikouji was adopted like me, but into this Nath family.)

Frenda saw that the man who had adopted her was.

"Winter! In here!"

Winter rushed to Frenda in the office room, she saw Frenda at the computer and when she looked at what Frenda pointed out she was perplexed, the name she was looking at was, Richard Temperance Nath,and a long that was the name of the girl calling herself Aihana Etsu, Kaede Ibotanokikouji Nath.

"Wait, does that mean?"

"Yes, in the end, Captain Temperance is the Father of the fake Aihana Etsu, Kaede Ibotanokikouji Nath, or I guess Kaede Nath.Not only that but look at this."

Frenda pulled up a set of recent files and found that Richard had made a request to visit the Vale prison the day before Kaede Nath escaped from prison.

"Do you think he may have had something to do with her escape?" Winter asked.

"It seems to fit," Frenda replied.

Suddenly, a video request came up on the computer.Frenda answered it and when she did, she saw the face of Captain Temperance or Richard Temperance Nath on screen.

"Frenda Seivelun, Winter Schnee, you do know breaking and entering is illegal correct?I guess since I have a lot of incriminating evidence in that house, I can't simply send a team to arrest the two of you, but don't worry, I have had my daughter take care of it for me."

"You snake! You would betray the city?It's your duty as a soldier to uphold proper justice!" Winter shouted.

"That's a funny one, when have I ever said anything about actually caring about justice, That job may be my job,but it was nothing more than a cover to help my daughter get out of most illegal situations, what she is doing is going to benefit the world as a whole,if anything you are the villains for trying to stop her."

After he spoke those words, he clicked off the video call and then a sound was heard; Frenda tackled Winter Schnee just at the proper moment, and a cut tore through the wall;the travel of that cut was perfectly aimed for a gas fixture when that was severed the house went up in flames.

The man walked forward, looking over the damage; he saw no sign of his two targets and then he heard a whistling noise;a knife had been sent flying at him, though he only blocked it with his sword and turned to his left.

"Frenda Seivelun, You can call me Knight Leader, I feel it is only right we both know each other, at the end of the day, I have no true ill towards either you nor Winter Schnee."

The man called Knight Leader lowered his blade, he now held it in a diagonal direction from his body.

"In the end, are you a hired goon?"

"No, I am the right hand of Xzalana Ekaterina."

(The leader of DarkTide?)

"So then, Kaede Nath has DarkTide on her side too?She seems to have taken over the darkness almost entirely."

"Yes, well, I'm afraid I have no choice in the matter; I have given my loyalty to Lady Xzalana.And I never go back on my word, but don't worry I promise you your death will be quick and painless; I have no reason to make it last."

Winter Schnee didn't entirely understand what was going on at the moment, but she knew that man was hostile, so she pulled out her weapons.

"In the end, I have no reason to kill you either, but I can't guarantee you willlive."

With that said Frenda Seivelun and Knight Leader shotforward.

Part 12.

Shizuri Mugino May have bought a bit too much; the girl had been attempting to carry fifteen bags of designer clothes; this always happened to her;she would go to the store for one item and end up buying most of the store.

The tea-haired girl sighed to herself as she was having trouble carrying all the bags; all the people around her were looking at her in confusion; some found the situation amusing.

Shizuri Mugino set her bags down and sat on a bench; she was not going to carry all the bags back to her hotel; the girl was not about to pull her back out carrying those heavy bags back.

She pulled her scroll out and started to search for a transportation service ignoring all the stares she was getting, she soon settled on an AI-powered car ride, this was due to it being on sale,sure she could afford something expensive but why was there a need, on top of that she had never actually taken an AI-powered car before.

Shizuri clicked the screen, entered her location, Entered her payment information, and just when she was about to confirm her order, a fizzling noise was heard.

When she looked up she saw that a flare had been shot, this flare was a warning to citizens that Huntsman or Huntresses were on a job in the area,it was created as an easy way for any Hunters to clear out an area, normally before anything bad that could harm and or kill them would take place.

Not all Hunters used this; Many would either shout a warning or just go into combat despite the civilian presence in the area.

Shizuri watched as multiple people quickly began to make their way away from the area.She sighed, put her scroll away, and stood from the bench that was right in the center of the mall's 3rd floor.

Then she saw somebody standing, walking forward, not fleeing; that woman stood not far from her when she came to a halt.

The woman was blonde, her hair had been done up in a bun with a tornado-like twist on the right side of her head, and she had on a pair of what looked like prescription glasses over her green eyes.

Shizuri looked her over and could appreciate her outfit; it was very fashionable;it had been a white silk button shirt stuffed into a tight black corset which was over a black dress, long brown tights, and black boots on her feet that came up to just below her knees.

"You at least know fashion."

Shizuri was certain this was the woman that #6 Monster spoke of, Glynda Goodwitch, She was already aware of the woman and that she was a teacher at Beacon Academy.The tea-haired monster had not wanted to meet her this soon though, but she couldn't complain.

She watched Glynda pull what had looked like a riding crop out and point it at her; Glynda looked at Shizuri, raised her scroll, and played a video;the video on screen showed Shizuri committing mass murder and killing a Huntress.

Then, going by the book, Glynda flashed her professional huntress badge.The electronic badge was bright enough to be read even from a long distance, so Shizuri could clearly see it when she was only standing six feet away from the woman.

"Shizuri Mugino, I'm placing you under arrest."

The #4 monster sighed out in disappointment.

"Whatever, let's get this over with."

Shizuri raised her hand, that hand soon had a ball of energy hovering just in front of it, she smirked and let that beam fly, making sure her calculations were perfect,the speed and heat of that beam was something beyond the capability of many Hunters she fought in this world,so you can imagine the shock in her face when that beam had been harmlessly sent in a different direction.

The meltdowner scorched the wall to the two girls' right; left behind was a deep hole and a burnt surface.

Shizuri smirked at this, she realized this was actually going to be an entertaining fight.

"Very impressive. Although... How will you deal with this?"

Five meltdowners formed around Shizuri and all at once those beams flew at Glynda, though the sexy blonde woman was not only unbothered but was extremely calm and levelheaded,she raised her riding crop and a purple shield that almost resembled a magic circle formed, when those electron beams touched it they froze, it was as if the kinetic energy was simply removed.

Glynda pushed out her hand, and the beams disintegrated into green dust, which floated away; the scene before Shizuri Mugino was shocking;it was like some new set of rules the like of which proper science didn't understand.

(Fuck me! Another one of these damn out-of-the-book semblances!?) Shizuri thought.

The #4 had once again faced something in this world she couldn't understand with her personal reality;it was something too outside of the realm of possibility in her eyes, but as natural, her scientific brain tried to comprehend it.

(It just vanished into dust, did she break down it's molecular structure?Transmute it somehow like that #2 monster can do?Or is there something else I'm just not seeing.)

Shizuri's mind was moving a million miles per second as she was trying her best to analyze the strange semblance before her and figure out a countermeasure for it.

"I will give you one more chance to come quietly."

Shizuri laughed when Glynda said this."How about you go suck a dick, you have pretty enough lips for it!I'm not turning shit in."

Shizuri created several meltdowners, at the same time Glynda created her shield in preparation, but Shizuri was not aiming her shot at Glynda, rather one meltdowner beam struck the floor to her left,the force of the explosion that took place was enough to launch Glynda several feet away,after this three more beams hit her aura while she was still in mid air sending her straight through the glass of the balcony.

Glynda Goodwitch was suddenly in a free fall off of a height of four stories;with quick thinking, she flipped into a backflip, created a purple circle under her feet, and landed safely on the floor below.

Shizuri jumped over the rails and utilizing her semblance she floated safely to the ground floor, she levitated just a moment before she let go and her boots touched the floor.

(She can't have two semblances right?) Glynda thought, confused at how she saw the girl seemingly use two abilities, laser beams and levitation.

"It seems you're going to be trouble, figures."

"Aww, are you butthurt because you fail as a Huntress?Can't apprehend me? Ha ha ha ha!I will admit, though, you're making this fun!"

"The way you abuse your power and treat everything like a game is going to be your downfall, you will slip up eventually."

After that statement Glynda swung her riding crop, a rumble was felt like a small tremor had gone through the area, the water in the fountain began to bubble,it spat out a geyser and shot into the air, Glynda flicked her wrist and that water began to spin around her body, it was like a whirlpool, then she sent that pressurized water right at Shizuri.

Shizuri raised her hand to one side, several meltdowners shot out but using her personal reality she shifted the rules of how her power worked, rather than sending out destructive beams,it shot her body away at speeds that exceeded supersonic, the reason she decided to dodge rather than block was due to the fact that the attack was water,she couldn't allow herself to get soaked in water since she had an electric based ability in the end.

While Shizuri Mugino was a Level 5 electromaster, she was not anything like Academy City's #3 when it came to electricity control.Railgun had a leg up over her much to her dismay when it came to the electrical aspect of their powers,Even if Shizuri didn't exactly see Mikoto Misaka as an enemy anymore after the two worked together back in Academy City to fight the cyborg known as Rensa.She still didn't see her as a friend either and she never asked Mikoto how she was able to manipulate her lightning around water.

Because of this, Shizuri Mugino was weak against water, the reason was due to the electrical charge she has to send out whenever she creates a meltdowner,The meltdowner was already dangerous for her when she used it to begin with, If she wasn't careful or made a miscalculation she could hurt her own body.

Shizuri had already done this once when she fought Shiage Hamazura, Shizuri used her power at a dangerous level and burned off her own arm and one of her eyes, That had happened on that fateful day,The day she made the biggest regret of her entire existence, The day she killed one of her closest friends, Frenda Seivelun.

Utilizing what she called Meltdowner Burst, Shizuri Mugino successfully avoided the blast of pressurized water which had been sent at her by Glynda Goodwitch.

However, the sexy blonde woman did not stop there and she sent water at Shizuri a multitude of times, but the girl was successfully able to dodge them all until the fountain was empty,then an invisible force shot into her body, this had been air pressure, the air hit her chest and knocked her off her feet while knocking the wind out of her.

Glynda made an immediate follow-up, purple tendril-like shapes twisted around the room, tearing through the walls and floor they multiplied into at least a dozen,defying the laws of physics they shot into the floor and traveled beneath it.

Shizuri could not see where those would shoot out, she levitated off the floor but those tendrils were too fast, one wrapped around her left leg,then all Glynda had to do was move her hand to control it.She moved her hand left and right, up and down, and back and forth.

Each movement she made slammed Shizuri's body all around the section of the mall the two were fighting in; she hit walls, the floor, the balconies, and the fountain, which destroyed it.

Glynda soon saw her standing again, but was certain her aura was low by this point, Shizuri had a look of anger and irritation on her face as she created twenty-two meltdowners,Glynda was quick to react as several shield-like circles formed around her body.

Those imitation-magic-circles rotated around her body like the planets orbiting the sun, they were capable of deflecting every meltdowner fired at her.

Bouncing against the shields harmlessly those beams were sent in several different directions destroying parts of the mall, she moved her hand in Shizuri's direction;suddenly, multiple objects from different stores flew out; they were being telekinetically controlled.This would be all that was needed to destroy the girl's aura, but something happened.

Watching the mass of objects flying at her she decided to try something new, something different.A shape formed around her, her meltdowners expanded into a shield-like shape on all sides of her body, then she pushed the energy out.

That electron expansion was sent through the area, the force and power being far too strong; Glynda Goodwitch could not hold back that powerful force; it all happened far too fast.

The energy hotter than a furnace continued to expand as It burned away all the telekinetic objects as if they were trying to enter the sun.Nothing lasted, Glynda tried her hardest to hold back that energy as her aura was slowly being burned away, But.

Shizuri walked forward and then looked over the unconscious woman who had been taken down in seconds from that attack;she tapped the toe of her right boot against the woman's cheek to make sure she was out; when she confirmed that was the case, she did exactly what she needed to do.

Shizuri leaned over, grabbed the woman's glasses, pulled them from her face, and pocketed them;when that was done, she simply walked away, leaving the sexy blonde woman unconscious on the floor of the Mall.

Shizuri pulled out her scroll, and as if on cue, she was called immediately.

When sheanswered, it was that #6 monster, exactly who she was expecting to call, though not immediately.Shizuri figured that person was watching her nearby or something and looked around but couldn't confirmanything.

"When you exit the mall, just leave the glasses in the trashcan on the far leftside."

"Fine. This makes us even,right?"

"Ofcourse."

Shizuri hung up. She didn't know why these glasses were so important, but she knew the #6 wouldn't tell her, so with no otheroptions,she did as that person asked and deposited the prescription glasses in the propertrashcan.

When that was done Shizuri realized she forgot her bags, She quickly went back to check, unfortunately her bags were destroyed, She cursed herself and walked backout,the tea-haired girl still wanted to try the self-driving car ride though, so she still completed herorder.

Sighing to herself she clicked her tongue and left the mall parking lotentirely.

Part 13.

The area looked like a twister went through it; it didn't look much like a residential neighborhood anymore; the road was completely destroyed and Several homes were destroyed or on fire.Luckily many civilians' had gotten to safe places, though some were still hiding in their homes, a jamming device had been utilized by the fluffy blonde-haired girl,Frenda Seivelun so nobody could contact the police, That was the last thing she needed.

And as for Winter Schnee, She currently also couldn't be caught in a place like this, all her arrests would be sent directly to Ironwood and Ozpin, currently she was working against the law,any normal police would cause major issues in her operation.

The man who had introduced himself as Knight Leader had been the main cause of this damage, he was something a little bit out there for most to understand, though.

"Winter move left now!"

Winter Schnee had been listening to Frenda Seivelun throughout this fight like the girl was some sort of gym coach or sports team captain, or even some form of business manager;the sexy blonde girl with the worlds greatest legs had been able to predict the direction of every attack.This had made the woman who was called Ice Queen only by a certain dusty old crow wonder what that girl's semblance really was.

However, at this moment, that didn't completely matter; this man was a far more important obstacle;it was rare that Winter Schnee ever fought against somebody with the speed and power that Knight Leader could utilize.

Weiss Schnee had also not understood why Frenda didn't want her to use her own semblance at this current moment, It was after something that had transpired earlier.Knight Leader had shown himself to be a powerful opponent and that fluffy blonde girl did something special, something Winter Schnee didn't understand at all.

The girl didn't give much detail if any at all about this strange technique, she only said it was something she learned to do with her semblance, apparently the could only work on some people,somebody, Who was too powerful for her it wouldn't affect them, she didn't give full details,and all Winter had seen was Frenda Seivelun place a hand on the man in a quick move she was able to execute.

Winter Schnee had been very confused when that hand had done nothing to harm the man, but when she did this,she all of a sudden had almost every morsel of information on Knight Leader's power and skills, Frenda explained to her about his speed and strength, his stamina and techniques,she even understood the man's semblance.

Something Winter didn't understand that well.Frenda Seivelun had explained it briefly but it wasn't enough for her to understand mid fight, from what she could gather;the man's semblance allowed him to destroy the kinetic energy of an object, but it seemed this worked on dust too, Winter still didn't understand it, it sounded impossible,and she could only wonder why he wasn't using such a semblance if it would make him borderline invincible.

The cold woman could only wonder what that technique was, how she was able to execute such a technique, something that seemed to give her precognitive insight on the man's powers,after Frenda had completed this technique she was tired but still able to fight.

That is why currently Winter had been performing the bulk of the combat at the moment; She was not utilizing her Glyphs, though, as per Frenda's current orders.

Knight Leader was only forty-two feet from Winter Schnee, his blade being enchanted with wind dust, a tornado twisted thinly around the blade of that sword, a strong pressure had been exerted,It felt like being deep in the ocean without ear protection, Winter felt her head being pressed on by that pressure it was like her head was being squeezed by something invisible,That blade of wind moved in a horizontal motion, what was released twisted the area around, changing the terrain of the road even further.

Leaping to the far left, Winter only narrowly avoided a hit from that powerful slicing wind that tore through the asphalt like tissue paper;thanks to Frenda Seivelun, she made it out without a scratch.

"Duck!"

This was called out just before the man closed the distance of forty-two feet in a half second; just as Winter ducked, the man's sword passed right over her head, that weapon was met by another.

A knife had stopped that massive sword, the strength of Frenda's aura was incredible, the sword that man carried was a massive great sword with a golden hilt and a black handle grip,the shiny blade was probably the size of a grown man, but thanks to Frenda's aura control she could hold back that massive weapon as well as that man's strength and aura.

(Damn, that girl really is at the level of a veteran huntress, probably even a little stronger than most of them; how is she even like this?She is a huntress in training; she shouldn't be this strong; there really is something strange about Frenda Seivelun.)

Metal scraping noises sounded out as the two clashed blades several times, Frenda had already gotten her invite to kill Mark Fringe tonight,so she was doing her best to conserve her energy as best she could, the girl was being careful with her semblance, since she knew she would need as much of her aura as possible for Mark Fringe,that is why.

(Damn, I know this is risky, but to avoid using my aura at a massive degree, I will need to use my esper power.In the end, let's just hope that Winter doesn't realize that I'm manipulating two different abilities, I keep my semblance hidden for that very reason,This way I can pass off my esper ability as my semblance if somebody starts asking questions.)

The timing was all she needed for a perfect strike, She just needed to execute her move at the perfect moment,Frenda used this moment to look over her options and she was of course not going to use any illegal weapons in front of Winter,she may have used an illegal gadget but she didn't want to reveal that she basically had a criminal arsenal at her disposal to a military Atlas specialist despite it being Weiss Schnee's sister.

Then something came to the fluffy blonde-haired girl's mind, something she could use, Something she hadn't yet tried before, but if she executed her calculations perfectly, she would have no problem.

Jumping back from Knight Leader, Frenda got a certain amount of feet from the man, she was close enough for this to work well enough.What the blonde girl planned to do would be something that would raise questions as it would probably make her look like a Maiden, Whether or not Winter Schnee knew of magic or not,this would look strange but it would hide her esper power well.

Frost, fire, wind, gravity, and lightning twisted around Frenda in a circle, her body was in the center of an elemental tornado;the calculations were simple: the movement of that tornado twisted in irregular directions following an irregular path.The blonde girl came up with this on the spot and all she needed to do was move.

Winter Schnee was shocked at the sight, the last time she saw something like what the fluffy blonde girl was utilizing,was when her sister Weiss Schnee did something similar during The Battle of Beacon, Winter couldn't understand how this blue-eyed blonde girl could do something like this, it was dust for sure,but how did she shape it and twist it in that way.

The man was fast, but he was unable to properly predict where that mass of elemental energy would head, and for the first time in this fight, Knight Leader looked worried.

(I can't use Zero Out yet. If that hits me.Then...)

With no other options, he made a single move forward; his speed could be measured to something like a bullet;the plan was simple: Knight Leader was more than aware that power had physical laws and properties, meaning he could combat it with a separate set of physical laws.

That monster of a man tore right through the center of those elements, the dust being forced aside by the force of his movement, the road tearing apart, and his sword slicing through it like butter.

It had at first seemed like that attack was destroyed by the man in an instant until.

"Checkmate."

This light whisper from the fluffy blonde-haired girl was spoken at a distance so close he could feel her lips touching his ear, when he looked down at his feet,the man understood exactly why those words were spoken.

"Well played."

This was all he said as he looked at twenty-eight bombs that had looked like stuffed animals and dolls; those same bombs were used against him at the start of the fight;he knew that those harmless-looking stuffed animals and dolls were actually deadly weapons.

A click was heard and a massive explosion followed, an explosion that enveloped the man in its fiery embrace; it was like being cooked in a furnace or roasted on a spit;his aura could not withstand the amount of explosive force all at once, his body suffered several burns and marks.

The man was not in a good condition, but he was able to activate Zero Out just as his aura had reached the proper percentage, so even though his aura was gone, he still had a defense he could utilize.

Zero Out worked without his aura as long as his aura was used to activate it and at this moment he had 10 minutes of time left, that semblance gave him a 10-minute time frame for its use,it only required him to have his aura fall below a certain percentage, but he could even activate it with a remaining 0.1% aura.

(That's what I was waiting for.In the end, I was able to see this power of his, Zero Out, it has a 10 minute timelimit and it allows him to turn the force and energy of any attack he understands the laws of to a harmless state,but, All told, all I need to do is...)

"Winter, we'll need your semblance."

Winter was perplexed at this statement."Didn't you say my semblance would be useless?"

"No, In the end, I meant it would become useless, but I saved your semblance to combat his, the laws of your glyphs are something he doesn't yet understand."

The Schnee sister didn't completely understand this herself, but she knew that somehow Frenda Seivelun had more insight on this man than she herself did, so she decided to trust Frenda.

Several Beowulfs were summoned, those Beowulfs didn't look black as night like a regular Grimm, rather they were white and had a frosty texture, those Grimm charged forward, claws razor sharp,and each let out a blood-curdling roar, As those Grimm ran forward like a calvary in medieval combat, the sexy blonde girl used this moment,with the right timing and mathematical calculations she fired several bullets at the man.

Those bullets impact were zeroed out, but something exploded out of them, a strange dust the man didn't expect, a law of physics not under his command,those were not technically military illegal bullets, they were prototype bullets laced with prototype antimatter dust, an unreleased weapon from Vesper Corp.

This distracted the man from several factors, all which fell into place for Frenda's plan.

The Beowulfs slammed into him at full speed, his shoulder was torn through by those sharp claws, blood was visible, the warm liquid dripped down his arm and created a thin line to the ground below,carrying his massive great sword in only one hand, he moved his arm in several directions, cut through multiple Beowulfs,and kicked out with his foot taking down the last remaining one with his own strength.

Winter was flabbergasted at the sight before her, not of the Beowulfs being killed so easily, no rather it was due to the fact that Knight Leader didn't seem at all bothered by the injury he received.

(He doesn't look that physically strong, but he seems to be built like a tank.) Winter thought.

It only took a second; Knight Leader's blade dug into her aura, became enchanted with Gravity dust, and sent out a blast from the tip.

Winter Schnee's body rocketed into some random family home, who were all very scared and already were cowering beforehand, a large hole had been left in the side of their home,something that would cost a lot of money to fix, Winter cursed herself for causing this family trouble,as an Atlas specialist she should have been able to apprehend or eliminate this man a long while ago, that was typically how her fights went in the field.

Although this was different, this was the first time the white-haired woman had ever come in contact with the "True Dark Side" of Remnant, this wasn't Atlas thugs, White Fang Terrorists,or Drug Lords, this was something so far beyond that, The Dark Side was stronger than the worlds military power combined,and it seemed some of its members could probably take on an entire military army on their own.

(What the hell is Kaede Nath aka Aihana Etsu going to be like, if she is currently the leader of this darkness?The one called "The Dark Side's Queen" I have to take her down but, can I?Is she even stronger than this man?)

Winter Schnee normally never doubted her own abilities, as she was very proud of where she had come, despite her terrible father,she was a high-ranking operative in the Atlas military and right hand to General Ironwood himself, but she had never encountered such powerful individuals before.

Could she really defeat this darkness?

Frenda Seivelun and Knight Leader both stood several feet from each other; Knight Leader had been looking exhausted;the man had been taking more damage than the girl before him, he had already used up a lot of his semblance's time, he only had 4.7 minutes left.

The fluffy blonde-haired girl didn't need to close the distance, she took a page out of her old boss's Shizuri Mugino's book, she unclenched her fingers, raised her right hand,and performed a certain set of calculations.A bright light shined before a beam of concentrated magma shot out at the man.She knew this could be turned to zero, but she had something else planned for that.

Focusing on her semblance, Frenda Seivelun predicted the movement the man would take after he turned her magma to zero and pointed her gun in that direction.

Knight Leader allowed the magma to be turned to zero, then he saw a blindspot, moving into the proper direction, he prepared to strike from Frenda's side, but.

The man let out a grunt of pain when a bullet tore through his shoulder and out the opposite end, leaving a hole in the affected area.

"When did you...?"

That was all Knight Leader could get out as he soon felt a kick to his right, the heel of Winter Schnee's boot deeply impacted his head,it only took a moment to realize what happened as the Beowulfs from earlier flashed through his mind.

(She shifted my perception of time, after I activated my semblance, she used those first attacks to throw off my count by 2.3 minutes, then she attacked me again with more distractions,that magma attack was the final one, my semblance deactivated right after that, when I believed I had a little over 3 minutes remaining... The reality was; I only had less than 1 minute remaining.Damn clever girl.)

That was the last thought that went through Knight Leader's head before he collapsed into a state of unconsciousness.

"In the end, great timing."

(And, All told, she can't leave him here; she isn't going to kill him, so...)

"I'm going to have to take him in, so this is where we part ways for now; as an Atlas specialist, I can't just leave a criminal like this free."

"In the end, I understand that."

(Just in time.) Frenda thought with a mischievous smile that matched a certain anime MC who was also the antagonist of his own show.

Winter Schnee cuffed the man and called for medical to treat him, when she looked back up, she didn't see any sight of Frenda Seivelun.

Just around the corner, Frenda was happy her plan had worked flawlessly.

(That gets Winter off myback.So now I can deal with Mark Fringe and find YuiitsuKihara.All told, I learned a new trick... who knew I could use my ability to calculatedust;I really need to test what wavelengths I can manipulate, and I wonder if there's a way I could create a real meltdowner, maybe fromdust?Could I create a new form ofdust?Or maybe if I could get Weiss Schnee's help... In theend,that girl knows more about dust than professionals who actually make it their job.) Frenda thought as she made her way to a store to buy a can of mackerel before she had to have a fight to thedeathwith a certain EpsilonAssassin.

Part 14.

He was sitting in his office, a small lamp illuminated a small area of his desk as the man went over some paperwork,a certain set of files that all his soldiers would believe were the report on the recent attack on a residential neighborhood, but this was just a ploy, he was actually doing something else,the man was removing all of the suspected locations of Aihana Etsu from the map, as well as removing her files from all databases, That fake Captain had made sure his daughter was a ghost.

Why was he doing this now of all times?It was mainly due to the encounter he just had, the discovery that Winter Schnee had discovered his files in his home,which he honestly should have disposed of long ago was a bit of a fright to the man known as Richard Nath,aka Captain Temperance.He knew that it was hitting the endgame of his daughter Kaede Nath's plan, that meant that things were about to go a little out of his control.

That girl planned to rage war on the world, she was going to use the power of the Dark Side to take over everything, no doubt she could,That is why he removed her from anything that could reveal her true identity to those who didn't already know it, even his adoption files from a few years back,this was per his daughter's own request, she didn't want anybody to be able to connect them to her, not himself nor his son Enzo Nath.

She wanted to make sure that nobody, Even most of the Dark Side learned of her family,That girl knew as much as Richard himself that himself and Enzo were the perfect bargaining chips one could use on her, So he eliminated the possibility from the equation entirely.Kaede Nath kept them hidden and kept her connections to them hidden, She didn't even tell her prior Dark Side Organization Grimmlin of their existence.

This was not a total loss though;the man may have destroyed their memories together and erased everything about her existence in this world, but he knew that they would make new memories, after this war,after she became the queen of the world.They would come back together and share new memories together as a family, he couldn't contact his daughter during this time, but he believed in her,he knew she would change the world and they would be able to be together again and forever.

That is why he didn't even shed a tear as he destroyed those memories, he didn't feel that this was the end, rather, a new beginning.His plan was simple, delete the files, walk out of this building, and disappear.

As the man finished, something very unexpected happened.

Several men and women burst through the door of his office, all with weapons raised, behind them coming in last was somebody he hoped he never would see again.

"Winter Schnee... What is the commotion?I di..."

"Cut the shit, I have already uploaded proof of your crimes."

The man sighed as she spoke, this may not have been part of the plan, but it was something he thought was a possibility.

"I see."

In a quick motion, Temperance raised his hand, in that hand was a pistol, he took a shot at Winter who was able to avoid the shot just before fire at the last second,the guard directly behind her however, was not so lucky as the bullet went directly through his skull,a blast of blood and brain matter shot out in several directions and the man slumped to the floor.

The others were shocked and were going to take action, but such actions were unnecessary when a boot slammed into Temperance's hand knocking the weapon from it, then he was knocked to the floor.

Before he could stand back up a boot stomped down on his chest, keeping him down.

"Richard Temperance Nath, you are under arrest," Winter spoke and she twisted her boot from left to right increasing the pain, though the man didn't react in pain.

The man sighed and relaxed; he knew he was not getting out of this one, and as such, he surrendered, not wanting to be eliminated due to resistance.

Part 15.

Frenda Seivelun sighed to herself;her favorite store had been renovated, so at the current moment, she was not aware of the locations of everything she needed for the meal she planned to make upon her return to Beacon Academy.

Several feet away, the automatic door opened, and a woman walked through that door, a woman with tea-colored long wavy hair.

(Man, this place better have salmon.How is it gone almost everywhere?Whose bright idea was it to put it on sale today of all days?) Shizuri Mugino thought in irritation as she had searched all over the city for salmon but to no avail,there was a mass sale on packaged salmon and salmon products across the city, everybody had been buying it up before she could get to it.

Her first move was to make sure that this place had the star of her dish, she walked over to a worker stocking product, tapped him on the shoulder, and asked a question.

"Do you have any salmon left in this store?"

The man stopped what he was doing as a customer was more important, and with a smile he answered her question.

"If you're looking for packaged salmon were fresh out, there was a huge sale so people rushed to it."

That answer only put a frown on the tea-haired girl's face, but then the man continued.

"However, we do have fresh salmon at the meat counter in the meat department, it is double the price because it's fresh but its there,so if you don't mind paying a little more... Then that's your best bet, They will even cook it for you if you like."

This information immediately changed Shizuri Mugino's frown into a smile, She didn't care about the price, the girl had enough money right now to buy a big house and an exotic supercar if she wished,and still have plenty left over, she only cared that the store had it.

(Good, and since it isn't on sale I don't even have to rush to it, I can pick it up last to keep it as fresh as possible.) Shizuri thought, Happy at this turn of events;the fresh salmon would most likely not be bought by most, so she was certain there would be plenty left by the time she was done shopping.

After Shizuri politely thanked the worker she walked down a certain aisle just opposite the aisle a certain blonde-haired girl wearing a french beret was on,the two girls walked just opposite each other as they shopped, one getting an assortment of different items, while the other was searching for just a few things in particular,everything she would need to make a nice salmon meal.

Evening was fast approaching, and both of these girls had very important things to do later, so at the current moment, they were trying to find what they were searching for fast.

The fluffy blonde-haired girl named Frenda Seivelun was going to make a quick meal for herself and all her friends before she went after Mark Fringe,while The tea-haired girl had a certain meeting with somebody from the Dark Side of the world, yet somehow this fate had brought them to the same location,though each was just opposite of seeing the other.

Shizuri walked to the end of the aisle, turned the corner, and entered the next aisle;she would have seen Frenda Seivelun if, at that moment, Frenda hadn't just left that aisle and headed somewhere else in the store, specifically to the produce section.

Shizuri Mugino smiled as she found the rice, placing it in her basket she headed to the produce section for some vegetables, She walked into the section that housed the store produce,on the opposite side of that very same section was Frenda Seivelun, the girl had put carrots, celery, onions, and other vegetables, as well as some citrus fruits in her basket.

While Shizuri Mugino had gotten zucchini, eggplant, And broccoli, she didn't carry any fruits as that would not be needed for her dish,it was ironic that being in Remnant made both of these former friends cook more, though on Shizuri's side, she ate a lot more takeout do to her job, but she could cook well enough,She couldn't make gourmet dishes like the fluffy blonde girl could, but she could make a meal tasty enough.

(In the end, that should be good, now for the chicken.) Frenda thought, walking through the section in the direction of Shizuri.

(Damnit, are they out of radishes?) Shizuri thought, just as she was about to give up and turn her head, in a direction that would surely reveal that fluffy blonde girl to her clear as day.

"Ma'am, can I help you find something?"

The voice of a store employee who stocks the produce spoke out behind her, this caused her to turn her head just as a certain blonde girl passed her.

"Um, actually, do you have any more radishes?"

"I think we just got a fresh box in the back, I'll go check for you."

"Thank you."

Frenda Seivelun walked over to the meat counter, she decided on a set of nice mustered fried pork chops for dinner,the man at the counter took her order and bagged two trays worth of raw pork chops in a bag.

She looked down at something that was just right next to the pork chops in a different container.

(Salmon huh? In the end, I did see a sale for those, though Ruby doesn't like seafood, and I can just grab a can of mackerel on the way out,though I know The #4 would buy that in a heartbeat back in Academy City.)

A certain set of memories flashed through her head of her old boss, Shizuri Mugino, and how she ate salmon on an almost daily basis.Though when it came to Meltdowner, Frenda Seivelun couldn't think about her without feeling anger, and it would even sometimes leave her in a bad mood.

She put that aside at this moment however.

When she received her pork chops, she decided she would get some cookies for Ruby for dessert.Frenda walked away just as that same girl she was just thinking about walked over, though that tea-haired girl didn't see the fluffy blonde-haired girl as she focused on the salmon on display.

Shizuri Mugino was happy this store had what she was looking for and she got several of the fish.After putting them in with her things, she headed to the front to check out; while in line, she decided to pass her time by reading a magazine from the shelves;this was interrupted shortly when she heard a familiar voice ahead of her.

"In the end, Thanks Charles, you're a lifesaver."

That voice and speech pattern were all too familiar to the tea-haired woman; she figured her mind was playing tricks on her, or she was just hearing things;she moved to check by leaning her head to the right to see if she could pinpoint that voice's speaker.

(It couldn't really be...)

Just as she was about to see a head of blonde hair, a man behind her tapped her shoulder causing her to look back.

"Miss, the line is moving, you know."

Shizuri Mugino almost wanted to melt the man on the spot but instead complied, not needing to draw attention, she moved forward.There were only two people ahead, but that girl, who she thought could be a certain fluffy blonde-haired girl whom of which likes to wear berets every single day, was not there anymore.

After Shizuri got to the register and paid, she quickly moved out of the door, her head darting around in different directions.She wanted confirmation if that voice she heard belonged to Frenda Seivelun or not.

After a moment she caught sight of a head of blonde hair rounding the corner at the other end of the building, heading in the direction of the bullhead station that was not a far walk from the store.

She was about to move forward when she heard a noise behind her of a trashcan falling over; she turned back, saw a little boy with white hair duck behind a pillar, and let out a sigh.

"Addian Arkhage what do you think you're doing?"

The young boy let out a curse as he walked around and looked at his current caretaker, Shizuri Mugino.

The boy called Addian Arkhage slowly walkedoutfrom behind the pillar; she couldn't believe he followed her all the way from Vacuo; the tea-haired girl, however, did not seem angry, just surprised;she looked back to where that blonde girl had been, sighed, and walked back toAddian.

"Don't you know how dangerous it is to travel byyourself!?You're a little kid, what if something happened toyou!?Do you know how many pedophiles there are in theworld!?"

"I'm sorry, Shizuri, I.. I didn't want to be away fromyou."

Shizuri sighed deeply before responding; for some reason, she couldn't stay mad at this boy; being around him was like having a littlebrother.

"Come on, I have a hotel not far, Have you eatenanything?"

The young boy shook his head and Shizuri Mugino was glad she boughtextra.

"Well fine, I'll cook you dinner back at thehotel."

The young white-haired boy who had one red eye and one silver eye smiled and nodded withjoy."Okay!"

He happily shouted and bounded over withjoy, but that joy soon turned to a frown.

"What's wrong?" Shizuri asked noticing the immediate change in the boy's attitude.

Addian pointed to left eye that had been deep ruby red color.

"He came out again, I can't hold him back with my silver eye, much, he keeps getting stronger."

Shizuri Mugino needed to confirm if what he was saying was what she thought was, "who" it was.

"Who came out again."

The boy frowned. "I told you about him... Asmodeus."

(God damnit, I knew that is what he was talking about, so that psycho doctor's program is still affecting him? What is it that boysaid?Oh, right... RottenLuck.)

Part 16.

It was late into the evening; she looked down at her scroll, making sure the location she came to was correct; Frenda Seivelun read the screen and confirmed that this was the proper location;the time on the scroll had read 11:55 p.m. This was just about the time that was sent to her by Mark Fringe.

So why was he nowhere to be seen?

Why was there nothing but forest in this location?Frenda was currently standing in a forest far outside of The City limits of The City of Vale; there was nothing around but trees, grass, and other objects that lay amongst the forest floor.

(In the end, these were definitely the right coordinates, yet no Mark Fringe, Did he just make this up!?Or...)

Frenda's thoughts were interrupted by the sudden sound of a clock, the fluffy blonde-haired girl followed the noise and she soon came across not a digital clock like most of Remnant would have,but an industrial clock, it was something she had never seen on Remnant before, it was black with golden roman numerals, and it was honestly strange to Frenda that Remnant had things like this.

There were multiple historical things in Remnant that matched Earth almost exactly, like Greek, Roman, and even Egyptian mythology, the strange thing was,this history was there but it had no proper explanation of how it came to be in the world of Remnant, the people on Remnant just seemed to give these things their own names,but had no clue where they originated.

For example, the biblical god didn't seem to exist on Remnant, yet there were Roman Catholics on Remnant in the distant past but no proper explanation as to what or who they were.Most just called them old cultist, as their churches didn't match the churches currently on Remnant,Frenda only knew because of Earth that those people were Roman Catholics when she saw the history book of them, called "The Mysterious Cult."

While Frenda never knew much about Christianity or really any religions back on Earth as it was very rare if not almost impossible to find religious people in Academy City,as most of the city's population didn't believe in God.

She had at least heard some of the most popular biblical stories, like Moses, Joseph, Noah, and Jesus Christ, not to mention she once watched the popular Christian movie, The Prince of Egypt,with her little sister Fremea Seivelun, but she didn't remember the message just the music.

When Frenda looked at religion and mythology she never could understand it, and many of the things she heard about it didn't make sense to her scientific mind,like how it claimed in the Bible that the world was once flooded when it rained for forty days and forty nights, it made no sense to her, that wouldn't flood the world.

Mythology didn't make sense to her either, like with the case of Achilles or the titan named Atlas who apparently carried the planet, or how Hercules once did so himself.

There were multiple speculations of that stuff, many believed it to be aliens and humans just called it gods and angels, though The blonde girl didn't see that either, having now met aliens before,She didn't see them as being angels and demons.

What truly didn't make sense to her about Remnant when it came to this subject, was that the events of these things,whatever brought them to Remnant didn't seem to have a proper explanation in history unlike on Earth, Roman numerals, Asian languages, even the food, it all had no explanation, just speculation,it almost made her wonder if Remnant at some point used to be Earth, perhaps Remnant was actually an Earth that had reached it's apocalypse and had a rebuilt civilization post apocalypse.

Perhaps many of the events that shaped these things on Remnant were from a lost world, a world Remnant used to be, and that was why nobody understood it's history,because it came from Remnant when Remnant was still Earth.

The clock was ticking faster than it should have been, and it had the IX, VI, and III, missing.

To Frenda, it looked brand new, so that would only mean those symbols had been removed intentionally; the clock had also been shoved in the tree recently; the entire thing was bizarre.

Frenda was about to walk closer but stopped when she noticed the clock increasing speed the closer she got to the clock, then it suddenly slowed down to a crawl;the second hand moved through the clock at an almost normal pace but then slowed down after it touched the III.

This happened again as it moved, it slowed down further after the VI, Then the second hand in its travel eventually made it to the IX.Each of these numerals was not actually in the clock as they were actually all removed beforehand; the ticking began to slow down, getting lighter and lighter, and then it stopped on the XII.

Frenda watched as this happened and when that destination was reached the XII popped out of the clock falling to the ground.

Immediately the fluffy blonde-haired girl sensed danger, but that danger had been all around her in every direction,the ground around lifted into the air like the forest was taking a long deep breath, then it began to collapse, the forest caved in,that Weapons Expert found herself in a free fall down into the abyss of the ground that was once beneath her.

With incredibly quick thinking, she leaped onto several large pieces of falling ground, used the momentum to push herself, and latched onto the wall with two knives,allowing herself to slide down it.Tracing the path of the dirt wall with those knives, Frenda made it to the bottom without suffering any injury.

She looked up and let out a whistle; what she was looking at was a long eighty to ninety-foot hole in Remnant's crust;judging from the look of the walls, the hole had been professionally engineered and had to have been here for years.

Frenda used her semblance to try and view its creation with Recognition, but she couldn't see anything, so either it was very old.Or hidden in some way she didn't understand, but from the looks of things, the sexy blonde girl went with the former.

Frenda found herself in an old, small underground cavern; not far in front of her was a large iron door; she walked up to it, placed her hand on it, and pushed forward.The door swung open, and she was greeted by a dreadful sight.

She was in a large but narrow room, almost like a massive hallway, there were prison cells all around it on both sides, in most of these cells were rotten corpses and skeletal bodies of dead Faunus.

At the other end of the massive room, was Mark Fringe, the boy was wearing the same thing he was in when she fought him last.Tilting his hat down he spoke.

"Greetings Frenda Seivelun... I didn't expect you to be killed by the cave-in, though it would have saved me a lot of trouble."

"What the hell is this place?" Frenda asked calmly.

"This was a secret underground prison and torture chamber that was used during The Faunus War, it sits ninety-seven feet below ground, in the most Grimm popular forest in Vale,we humans brought many Faunus here during that war, the stuff they teach you in school is not even close to what really happened."

Frenda looked around herself; the cells went all the way up seventy feet at least; there were staircases that led to the higher floors; it was a long area but also pretty narrow;it was like a massive hallway lined with prison cells.

"Why Here?"

"Simple. Last time we fought, I found you tend to dodge a lot; though this room may be pretty big, there are not many places for you to move;in other words, you will have very limited dodging room to avoid my attacks."

As Frenda took in the boy's words, she realized he was completely right about that;she didn't have a whole lot of room in this area, but given her last encounter with the boy, she didn't exactly need to be able to dodge out of the way of every attack.

(In the end, all I need to do is take him down quickly, that won't be hard when I figure out the exact function of his semblance, As soon as I can time his strike, This will be a piece of cake,basically, this boy is toast, All told, this is one of the major benefits of being an Esper and having a personal reality.)

"But I think we have chatted enough; I have a contract to complete, and I never fail my contracts."

Frenda let a smile adorn her face at the boy's declaration.

"Well, In the end, first time for everything," Frenda sassed.

With a fast pull of his sword, Mark was already in travel of the direction of Frenda, the fluffy blonde girl quickly analyzed everything around her and the boy before he reached her,She could feel his attack coming, he stopped just short of her, suddenly her jacket was torn at the elbow, her aura had been affected by an invisible attack.

(His semblance allows him to attack physically at a point in time when the attack already took place, but there is a 4-second limit.If I can exploit that limit somehow...)

Two black cylinders with a shiny gloss were pulled from somewhere on Frenda, she raised her hands, crossed her arms, and threw them forward, those cylinders suddenly twisted into something,The force of gravity shifted laws, the air collapsed in on itself, and two holes appeared out of thin air, they sucked several objects around the room into them, but Mark was quick to evade,the boy was able to use his aura to jump back at a velocity exceeding sound.

Those were something powerful in Frenda's arsenal, black hole grenades, she had picked them up from a certain Vesper compound, she had been doing her best to save all of those weapons for this.

"So, you have some tricks that you didn't display before?No matter though."

Charging forward the boy sent out an attack.

Frenda could sense the fire dust but was not quick enough to avoid it.

Frenda was struck by this attack and found herself several feet away from her previous location, A sword came down in a stabbing motion,Frenda's foot shot out and kicked Mark's leg from under him as she moved her head just out of the way of his blade,then she performed a kick to his chin as she used her hands to leap back to her feet.

The boy landed on his back a few feet away from Frenda but quickly regained his footing; when he looked down, he saw a dust crystal he couldn't identify;the crystal exploded, and several shards of metal shot out in all directions.

He only had to swing his sword as each bit of metal was harmlessly sent away from him, this was the same for the several bullets Frenda shot at him afterward.

"Not good enough."

After stating this; Mark kicked off his left foot soaring towardsFrenda.

Part 17.

After she put Addian Arkhage to sleep in the hotel bed, Shizuri Muginoleftthe hotel and began making her way to meet with a certain contact, a person she had never met before,somebody that Xzalana Ekaterina wanted to get in contact with, the reason?Shizuri was only told it was about some sort of illegal weapons that this person somehowacquired;she knew the location was Adam Taurus's of the white fang's main base of operations, so she assumed Adam was the contact she was meant tomeet.But at this moment, the tea-haired girl couldn't really be bothered to care thatmuch.

Her mind wasonone subject right now, That was the name that Addian had given.The name Asmodeus.

That name was the name of a strange experiment that had been conducted by a psycho doctor and his cult followers when she first encountered Addian Arkhage,She was certain she destroyed that project and shut it down, But that didn't seem to be the case if Asmodeus could still come out, When Shizuri Mugino first arrived on Remnant,she had believed Academy City to be much worse than this world,the darkness to be greater,but while perhaps many of the experiments that took place on this world were not on the level of that Scientific City.She would say that this one was something else entirely.It was disgusting in her opinion.

From what Shizuri could gather, she believed they implanted this AI program in the boy's mind, the program Asmodeus, and that AI has certain control of Addian,it can seemingly connect to his brainwaves and take over his body from time to time, when she believed she shut down the project, she believed he was safe from Asmodeus, but the AI was somehow back.

It was at this time she wished she had Mental Out with her or something, that was the only person she knew who could possibly stop this,Misaki Shokuhou was probably the only one who could get rid of that AI in the boy's head,it made Shizuri wish she would have not simply turned those two away when she ran into them on this world in Atlas once, But that seemed to be the way it was.

Her own pride was going to hurt that boy, maybe she could find Misaki Shokuhou and ask for help, could she actually find that girl again?Shizuri Mugino, who normally didn't care for many people, cared for that boy.She wanted to save him, but could she really save him?Somebody like her? Who bathes in darkness?People like her normally can't protect or save people.

Those were her thoughts in the past, that was how she saw herself and all the other monsters who bathed in darkness, that was how the world was right?But.

("Then I'll change it, I'll change the world... So everyone will be smiling in the end!")

The tea-haired girl recalled a memory of when she fought that boy in Denmark;when she said those exact words to him, his response was something she wasn't used to hearing being a member of The Dark Side, but when he said that.Something in her, deep down. She believed it, she believed that worthless Level 0 had the power to change the world, to destroy the darkness that poisons it, with that special right hand of his,a hand she believed could rid the world of darkness.

Shizuri Mugino didn't know much about the power known as Imagine Breaker, but she knew it was something so far beyond science, something outside the realm of possibility,something that could probably end all war and hate in the world, Something inside those words that boy spoke.It told her deep down that the power known as Imagine Breaker could fix this broken reality and turn it whole again.

She even wondered if that power could just destroy Asmodeus too, maybe it could remove that AI entirely, maybe it could accomplish the impossible.

Normally those in darkness can't save something, can't protect somebody, but she often thought about another boy, A certain white-haired blood-eyed boy, somebody who just like her bathed in darkness,no, it was more like darkness and blood stained his soul permanently.And yet.

("I don't know about all this occult bullshit, but I don't need to understand it to do something about this.I'm not going to let you fuckers get away with committing genocide on these islands, whether or not you believe yourselves to be gods or whatever the fuck;I don't care... I have something to protect in this world... And that is exactly what I'm going to do,I'm not like all you bastards, I'm not going to set a goal for myself,or stop once I reach the realm of god, I'm going to keep gaining knowledge, more than anybody ever has.I won't let myself be at a disadvantage against these laws I don't understand, I'm going to change it, I'm going to rewrite these laws and destroy it all.I'm Academy City's greatest monster, and I will show you what a true monster looks like.")

The #1. She saw him save people on two separate occasions, Accelerator had been able to save all of Hawaii by stopping the eruption of Mount Kilauea,with those strange white wings that made the boy look similar to the description of what religious people describe as an Angel.

She was no angel, but if that boy could rid himself of the darkness and save people, why couldn't she do the same?How could she call herself a Level 5 if she couldn't save one boy?Shizuri knew she could use her power to protect, she was certain she could, she needed to save that boy from his pain, she finally understood after meeting him,what it feels like to make someone smile, she wanted him to be always smiling, the tea-haired girl vowed to do everything in her power to destroy Asmodeus for good.

It took a bit of time to arrive at this White Fang base near the outskirts of Vale, Shizuri paid her fair to the AI-powered car with her scroll, opened her door, and stepped out as it drove away.She found that AI driving system to be very convenient, she was definitely going to be using the service more often.

Shizuri walked up to the door, knocked, and waited for it to be opened.She didn't have to wait very long as a white fang member opened the door.

"Are you Meltdowner?"

"Who else are you expecting?"

"Look I can't just let you in..."

The man was cut off by a beam of energy burning a hole through the center of the door.

"Look, I don't have time for games; either you take me to Adam Taurus, or I can turn you into a bloody mess and find him myself; which do you prefer?"

With a panic and without delay, the man opened the door, allowing Shizuri to walk inside; when she walked past, he checked his pants to make sure he didn't defecate on himself.

Shizuri walked down a long stretch hallway with only a single door at the end, she arrived at that door, pushed it open with the palm of her left hand,and let out a sigh upon sight of more than just Adam Taurus in the room.

It was not just Adam; first was a man she immediately recognized; he had a white coat and a bowler hat amongst a head of orange hair; the man was also carrying a cane;she recognized him as Roman Torchwick, a known criminal, and probably the most wanted currently.

Standing next to Roman Torchwick was a girl with long hair in a double color, half of her hair was pink and the other was brown, her eyes also matched the colors of her hair.

Then after her was a woman with long black hair wearing a Beacon uniform.Shizuri had vaguely recognized the woman; she remembered her from the previous group she used to run with when she first arrived in this world;she remembered her name being Cinder because her name always made Shizuri think of Cinderella, the popular fairytale back on Earth.

Shizuri was honestly pissed; she felt like some errand girl; apparently, the white fang got their hands on some experimental weapons by Vesper Corp, and she was tasked with checking the collection.

Shizuri walked over to them, sighed, and put a hand on her hip.

"Adam Taurus? You know of DarkTide right?My leader Xzalana Ekaterina... She heard of the weapons you..."

"Ah, ah, ah, missy, that would be my department."

Shizuri was interrupted by the man known as Roman Torchwick, As he tilted his hat and leaned on his cane.The girl next to him let out a small giggle.

"I am the one who proclaimed these weapons after all... And let me tell ya, they don't come cheap."

"Then why are they here?"

Shizuri gestured to Adam Taurus and Cinder, the woman she barely remembered.If she was actually meant to meet Roman Torchwick, why here?And with more people than needed.

"You're not my only customer doll face; I sold to the fang already; as for the fire girl; well, she is probably the only exception for free equipment, but that's a different can of worms."

Cinder looked at Shizuri but didn't say anything.Although.

(It really is her, Shizuri Mugino, does she remember me?) Cinder thought.

"Well... Don't waste my fucking time, show me these weapons."

"Show me some cash sweetheart."

Several green balls of concentrated electrons formed around Shizuri's body.

"How about you show me now and I don't completely destroy this whole city block."

Roman was not trying to pick a fight, so he just conceited; he wasn't sure if Meltdowner really could destroy an entire city block like she claimed, but he wasn't trying to find out.

"Neo? If you will."

The girl next to Roman, who Shizuri assumed was Neo, walked over to a large tarp in the room, then she pulled that tarp away, revealing an assortment of different weapons;but there was something about the weapons that put Shizuri on edge, and that was.

(Th-those are A-Academy City weapons?How did? Who?...) Shizuri thought before quickly gaining control of herself.

(I may need to look into this Vesper family; these are definitely Anti-Esper rifles, Antimatter Missiles, and even Chaff Seed;it seems there are a lot of other weapons and equipment from Academy City here too; who in Remnant can actually create these?They would have to be from Academy City, Was it Aihana Etsu?The one who claimed to be The True #6?Did he give this information to Remnant?)

"Well, don't just stand there, come on, have a look."

Neo called out, pulling Shizuri from her thoughts; she then made her way over to the weapons without a single word.

Roman walked up behind her. "Go ahead have a look around."

Then, to her surprise, Cinder walked over to her, speaking in an almost whisper, she asked a simple question.

"Do you remember me Shizuri?"

Shizuri didn't even turn her head in the woman's direction as she answered the question.

"Cinder right?"

"Yes, Cinder, Cinder Fall."

"If you are talking to me it's not about catching up, as we barely knew each other back then, so let's keep it that way."

"Oh, don't be so rude, but yes, I have a proposal for you.I have a certain job coming up soon and we could... Use an extra hand.Plus the main issue is I can't send Neo..."

Shizuri cut her off before she could continue."I'm not interested in your job or you're money, so you're wasting your time.I make plenty as is and I don't need to start branching out."

"I think you will change your mind when you see what I can offer you: somebody as powerful as you would do great in my ranks.I can get you whatever you need, even fix your arm and eye.You must get tired of using that makeup."

Before Cinder could even react, a hand gripped tightly around her throat, choking her with strength the Tea-haired girl shouldn't have had.Cinder was suddenly being lifted and held against the wall.

"Don't act like you know me or like we're friends; I told you my answer: if you want to keep testing my patience, you can leave here in a body bag."

Roman, Neo, And Adam only watched on not lifting a single finger to help the situation.

With a struggling breath, Cinder said something that made Shizuri Mugino drop her immediately; Cinder let out several coughs as she struggled to breathe properly again.

"How... Do you know... That name...?" Shizuri Inquired in shock at what had been spoken to her.

Cinder was now sitting on the floor; she coughed up a bit of saliva, leaned back against the wall, rested her head and back, and spoke again.

"When I saw the name Meltdowner, I thought it was you; it's the real reason I wanted to meet you tonight... I have a certain group, And I know somebody who can help him;if you help me, I will help you, trust me."

Shizuri Mugino was in deep thought for a moment before she finally gave her answer to Cinder Fall.

Part 18.

Sparks flew out in several directions, the sound of metal scraping together could be heard; this was the result of the intense battle between two members of darkness;at this moment, in this warm near summer evening, two souls of darkness were engaged in battle that would be one of the two's very last.

One of those two members of darkness would not walk away; only one could survive this encounter.A sword was pressed against the handle of a pistol, and the fluffy blonde-haired girl had one leg out, that leg was being held still by the boy before her.

That boy was a member of one of the most powerful and most secret Dark Side organizations, The Epsilon Assassins, a group where kids are trained to be killers, no,it's more like they are trained to only understand murder, for the act of spilling blood to be the only true skill they can accomplish.

Each member of The Epsilon Assassins are the worlds greatest murderers, all of those children kidnapped from a very young age go through the most intense and inhumane training program on Remnant,they are stripped of everything, left as nothing but an empty void, then they are reshaped into easy to control killers, with a nanobots kill switch implementation before they go into the field.

Each of these kids had their skills sharpened to exponential levels and their semblances scientifically enhanced and while any of those Assassins were considered a grave threat,the boy known as Mark Fringe was one of the best in the organization; he never lost a fight and never failed a contract.The boy was considered so skilled that he could take on a veteran huntsman or huntress with ease, his track record was completely flawless, nothing could deter him from victory,but something was different tonight.

The girl he was facing was unlike any other, it was truly strange to him and impressive all in the same,just a few days ago he did battle with the very same girl and she hadn't been much of a threat to him, but tonight, she was completely different.The fluffy blonde-haired girl known as Frenda Seivelun seemed to be growing smarter as the fight continued.

Mark was impressed with how fast Frenda Seivelun was able to adapt to his style of combat and his skills, her intelligence may even surpass his own, but knowledge isn't everything,well that would be true for anyone else but not an esper like Frenda Seivelun.For an esper, knowledge is everything.That was the simple truth about espers of the science side, as soon as they discovered the proper calculations to the problem, once they had the right pieces put in place,the correct answer to the equation.It was checkmate.

She twisted her foot back that was currently being held in the boy's grip, sent her other foot forward planting the sole on the boy's shoulder, and kicked back,this launched Frenda away from the assassin boy she was facing and in the process successfully sent him onto the floor.Throughout the battle, Frenda had been using her semblance to analyze the boy properly; she only needed his semblance;she already knew that if she could avoid his semblance, he would lose his biggest weapon and advantage he had.

This was easier said than done.

Mark jumped off the floor to his feet, with a simple vertical swing of his blade, an invisible impact cut into Frenda's aura from two meters to her right,she felt that tear away a good portion of her aura, which she had been trying to save as best she could.The thing was, that attack had been sensed by the girl but she didn't understand the power well enough to avoid it, the attack felt like it hit instantaneously.

(Fuck! In the end, if I lose access to my semblance now, I'm completely screwed, I won't be able to detect when he will use Time Strike, if that happens I will never figure out that power,He has me in a place where it would be near impossible to escape from, All told, the only way out of this is if one of us dies, I can't afford to lose too much aura.)

Looking to the left, Frenda moved to one of the cells and used a very special device from her arsenal to cut several of the bars off; she expertly threw those bars in the general direction of Mark.

The boy only had to move in three directions to cut each of the bars in half, after that, reacting fast he blocked Frenda's knife, but the blonde girl was able to land a kick into his ribs,the assassin boy didn't even flinch as his left side became inflamed from the strength of Frenda's kick, he only swung his blade directly through Frenda's left shoulder.That shoulder was opened up and blood shot out, her aura was quick to heal it but she still took a lot of damage.

In her hand was a small ball, she released this ball onto the floor below and leaped away,when that ball and the floor made physical contact with each other a plume of smoke immediately poured out filling the area with thick smoke,this would certainly conceal Mark's vision but Frenda was not at the same disadvantage.

As her semblance came to life she saw something new, an almost x-ray-like version of the boy's skeletal structure was visible in her eyes, Using this moment she pulled out her pistol.

Two bullets were fired, Frenda's aim was excellent and she would never miss a shot, when the bullets hit the light fixture above Mark it came loose and detached from the ceiling,but the boy simply sidestepped to avoid, despite the smoke he could still detect certain things with sound alone, the light fixture fell harmlessly to the floor only a few feet from Mark.

Thanks to her semblance, Frenda could understand and copy any fighting style with nothing more than a single glance, this also allowed her to counter said fighting styles with ease.

(Good, In the end, this is all I need to do, I just need a bit more.)

"I have to admit... You are quite impressive, girl, but not impressive enough."

Her senses going off, she could tell "that attack" was about to be used, to prepare, Frenda increased her aura shield.

When that attack hit her aura, she took damage to her midsection; blood poured out of a fresh wound on her middle; the deep cut would certainly take its toll;raising her hand, Frenda shot several bullets at Mark simultaneously.

(Okay, let's see.)

The boy repeated an earlier action to simply push each bullet away.

"Still not good enough."

"In the end, you think so!?" Frenda mocked as she pushed herself forward, Her hand came up and a miniature hidden flamethrower was activated.

That fire shot along the bars of the cells on their travel to that assassin boy, he was able to jump out of the path of the flames and then raised his sword again for another attack.

With a simple swing, an invisible attack was made.But then.

"What!?" Mark shouted out, his face showing some form of emotion for the first time.

Mark Fringe never showed emotion; the boy wasn't even sure if he had such a thing, but something was there; what was it?Surprise? Shock? Worry? Maybe all three.

Mark Fringe had never missed his strike before, but right at this moment, it looked as though he missed his strike; this didn't make any logical sense to the boy.

(I never miss. Wait I didn't...)

"I didn't miss... did I?" Mark questioned himself as what he saw was a cut but instead of that cut being through his intended target, rather it was several feet off to her right,a deep cut was going through the floor, it would have probably torn his target in half or at least did some major damage, so why was he looking at the damage on the concrete,rather than a bloody body?

The boy's question brought an almost sadistic grin to Frenda's face.

"I wouldn't say you missed, no, In the end, I figured it out.your Time Strike semblance that is.It can only use an attack you can physically perform in 4 seconds on the same timeline... well that is when it occurred to me;I just need to avoid your 4-second timeframe by moving to the 5th second before you execute your attack, it was actually thanks to your partner Olivia, that I was able to discover this,I remembered how her semblance worked and used that as a bit of reference, while her semblance can move faster and further, it still had certain limitations,I was able to exploit when I fought with her... Ultimately.Your semblance and her semblance are pretty similar in nature."

"Her's is speed, and yours is time, but speed and time can go hand in hand; when we fought back at that house, I remembered dodging your semblance once by accident as well.You have a semblance that can't be blocked, but it can still be avoided," Frenda explained.

"I see... That is where this uneasy feeling came from; It seems my semblance and your semblance are able to combat each other; you have some form of Precognition, and you can detect my attack."

The boy was a bit worried, but he still seemed quite calm, he moved forward, swung his blade in a horizontal pattern,and enhanced his aura enough to be capable of slicing through Frenda's arm entirely.

Though all that was sliced through was the gun she held as she used that for defense quickly, the girl was suddenly kicked in her chest and sent back, an invisible attack tore her back open,her body flipped through the air, hit a prison cell, and fell to the ground.

(He can just put me at the 4-second mark, then attack with his semblance?)

Another slice of a sharp blade cut an ex pattern in Frenda's chest; she let out a scream of deep pain when this happened; her aura had already fallen into the red area;she stood up, spit out some blood and saliva, and pulled out several missiles.

"If you believed that I also can't adapt to your little trick, well, your mistaken girl, If I can't utilize my semblance properly.That doesn't matter one bit."

Using her own willpower to ignore her pain, Frenda turned to Mark and looked him in the eyes.

"In the end, learning your semblance is not the deciding factor.it may give me an advantage... but I guess there's more to you than that; but, All told, your fighting an Esper!"

With that said, Frenda let those rockets fly, several magnetic waves guided those rockets turning them into homing missiles.

Explosion after explosion went off; the missiles destroyed most of the prison area they were in; those missiles were soon followed by several black hole grenades, Arrow missiles, and electric darts.

The walls shook like gravity itself was tearing them apart; the explosion directed at that boy ripped through the room, slamming into him; this was unable to be dodged by either Mark or Frenda;both of their auras shattered simultaneously.

Frenda slowly got up off the floor and walked over to the boy, Who had also stood up; he searched for his sword; he had lost control of it in the explosion;the cells were basically destroyed, debris was all over, and there was a massive crack running through the floor.

Before Mark could react, Frenda's foot slammed into his face, the boy quickly recovered and sent out a punch, The tired and hurt Frenda couldn't properly dodge the punch, the result was a bloody nose,then her leg shot into the gut of the boy, he coughed up blood and saliva as her shoe dug into him.

Mark was thrown back and onto the floor, to his luck his sword happened to be right where he landed, He grabbed his blade, stood up, and charged the sexy blonde girl, with a vertical swing,he cut into her arm that was moved to block his strike, blood dripped down the blade and onto the floor.

The boy soon felt pain in his right side, he looked down, and found a knife in the left side of his body.After this, he pushed Frenda away, but she kicked the handle, shoving it deeper.The boy didn't let out any audible pain, but he certainly felt it.

He raised his left foot, that foot flung into Frenda's chest, knocking her to the floor;the boy who dropped his sword when he was stabbed walked over to the fluffy blonde girl, pulled the knife out of him, then straddled her.

"I told you I never fail my contracts."

With that, the boy plunged the knife down, but this was met with Frenda holding him back; the boy leaned into her harder, the knife getting closer and closer to her chest.

Frenda didn't have enough physical strength to hold him back.In any normal situation, she would have ben dead to rights, but Frenda Seivelun was no normal girl, she was an esper who could manipulate any physical wavelength she understood,all she needed was seconds of time to make the proper calculations.

Those calculations were focused on the wavelengths of the ambipolar field of Remnant, which was an electrical field that surrounded the planet;while she couldn't manipulate it on a massive scale as someone like the manipulator of vectors could, she could still slightly shift the energy of direction in a slight magnitude,this was inspired by both Accelerator and Railgun, as Frenda copied the laws and concepts of their abilities in her own form, but this wasn't at all easy.

Pushing her personal reality a bit past it's current limit, Frenda created a very minimal form of vector control in a sense, manipulating the wavelengths of electrical fields,she shifted the knife away at rapid speed as it jetted in a different direction as if gravity was pulling it away from the boy who held it.

Mark Fringe went toppling over, he lay on his back as the positions were reversed, Frenda got on top of him, Grabbed his arms, and reversed the direction of the knife,the boy attempted to hold her back, he was keeping the knife away that was currently aimed at his heart.

"Like I said, in the beginning," Frenda started.

Using the same method from before, but in a differentdirection, she was able to increase the vector,that force propelled the knife forward in a velocity and magnitude that was too much for the boy beneath her to handle;the blade stabbed directly into his heart, his body twitching as Frenda twisted the blade in, slowly blood leaked down his chest filling his shirt with the warm liquid,as everything stained red slowly, Mark Fringe finally stopped twitching, and with a final breath he lied still on the floor, the light slowly left his eyes, and in this moment;Frenda Seivelun felt accomplished, she knew that Mark Fringe would never be a threat to her or her family especially Ruby Rose, everagain.

"In the end. First time foreverything."

Part 19.

The very next day. 9:45 A.M.

Ruby Rose couldn't hold back her excitement as she made her way to the bullhead she would be flying in today, she and her team were going to be shadowing a professional huntress,she already had known who it was, and she couldn't be happier, this mission was apparently a higher level, so they were allowed to add more people to their team temporarily.

The search and destroy mission she was on would be a piece of cake with the three who were coming with them; Ruby Rose chose three specific girls who all agreed to come with her team;those three were; Cinder Fall, Neopolitan Vanille, and Pyrrha Nikos.

When they arrived at the launch location, they were greeted by Glynda Goodwitch, who strangely was missing an important part of her character, which Yang pointed out.

"Woah, teach, what happened to your glasses?"

Glynda sighed, not wanting to remember her defeat against Shizuri Mugino.She decided not to say anything about that, and instead, she simply passed it off with a simple answer.

"Oh, I left them at a coffee shop by accident when I got an urgent call, it's no big deal, I can still fight without them, I'm nearsighted, when something is too far away it can be a bit blurry,but I trust my own instincts, I am still very capable without them."

The answer was satisfactory, and as the teens all followed her onto the bullhead, Ruby Rose could only worry about her stepsister, Frenda Seivelun had not returned to the school last night,after dinner, she knew what the girl was doing but that was what scared her, The Dark Side was a dangerous place and yes she knew Frenda used to work in that life before the two had met,but that didn't make it any less worrying.

Especially after these feelings she had been having for her stepsister, after the dance, the young scythe wielder had been having certain feelings for Frenda,they were the kind of feelings that she saw in movies when a person liked somebody as more than a friend, she wasn't stupid she understood exactly what it meant,she just didn't know how to deal with it.The girl had even started masturbating more often, and when she did, she thought about Frenda Seivelun.

And this morning was a whole different can of worms; that dream she had of Frenda was something different than she had ever experienced before;she didn't even know she could have dreams like that, but here she was.

Ruby sat quietly on the bus next to Weiss, her thoughts going between two people, Frenda Seivelun and Cinder Fall, the latter girl had been definitely hitting on her recently and it was confusing,because on one hand she really liked Frenda, and on the other end of the spectrum, she also liked Cinder, so what was she supposed to do?She didn't know what choice to make; by default, she assumed that she couldn't date Frenda because the girl was basically family;her father officially adopted Frenda the year prior, so was she basically having the hots for her sister?

The poor girl looked around the bullhead that was currently headed to Mountain Glenn, everyone was doing something different in the bullhead:Cinder Fall was resting, Ruby couldn't help but notice that the girl looked sexy even when she was asleep, Neopolitan Vanille was just playing a game, Blake Belladonna was reading, as usual,Yang was talking Glynda's ear off about something as she inconveniently ended up next to the pun happy girl,and Pyrrha Nikos was also on her scroll but Ruby could tell that she wasn't paying any real attention to whatever it was she was watching.She seemed to be thinking about something; if Pyrrha wasn't so far away, she would have distracted herself with Pyrrha's problems.

Weiss Schnee noticed Ruby's look and whispered to her not wanting to draw any unwanted attention.

"Ruby? What is wrong? I can tell something is wrong."

Weiss was actually extremely observant; Ruby wouldn't be surprised if, in some other reality or universe, she was a faunus.

"It's... It's nothing... I mean... Well, it's something.But. It's... It-its... I can't say it here right now.But actually, when we get a chance alone; I want to ask you something... if that's okay."

Weiss was baffled; she had never seen her team leader act in this manner before, but she made a promise that she would be her best teammate, and she was going to keep it.

"Sure Ruby, I'm all ears whenever you want to talk about it."

"Thanks Weiss."

Glynda Goodwitch saw this exchange between Weiss and Ruby, the woman who was missing her glasses, sighed in thought.

(Is Ruby uncomfortable? But I made sure this was an all-female trip, so there must be something else bothering her right now; what could be wrong with her?)

Glynda Goodwitch had actually reassigned Professor Bartholomew Oobleck to a different mission just for this, he was originally the one picked,but when she learned that Ozpin had allowed Team RWBY this mission, she had him reassigned for two main reasons, first, she wanted to blow off some steam after her loss against, Shizuri Mugino,and second, she wanted to make sure Ruby was comfortable, and she knew that Ruby was not very comfortable around men, especially middle-aged men.

While she didn't know what brought this on, she had hersuspicions.Something that is hard to talk about must have happened to Ruby Rose, Glynda Goodwitch had seen the same thing she saw in Ruby, in countless victims of sexualassault,she was more than well aware of what that could do to aperson.

(I hope she will be alright.) Glynda Goodwitch thought as she tried to tune out Yappy Yang XiaoLong.

Part 20.

12:32 P.M.

The man was sitting in his office enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate when somebody walked through the elevator to Beacon Tower.The one who had walked through those doors was one he knew well, who may even consider his best friend or one of his closest friends at the very least.

"What brings you here on this calm afternoon, James?" Ozpin asked curiously.

It was not often that James Ironwood just let himself into his office without notice, the man looked tired and in need of a friend, Ozpin knew James was dealing with a lot at the moment,he himself was also taking a major risk with this Dark Side war, the secret war not many on Remnant even knew of.Those two men had sent Winter Schnee to do something that could very well land each of them in prison.

There were some good results from this decision, however.The man they knew only as Knight Leader, had been arrested by Winter Schnee and brought in, on top of that they learned that Captain Temperance was actually the father of Kaede Nath,that girl was apparently and according to Winter Schnee, Aihana Etsu, Ozpin was not surprised in the least, he figured that Aihana Etsu was nothing more than an alias anyway.

The white-haired man had also learned just recently that Winter Schnee had gotten the current location of Kaede Nath and would report back when the deed was done.

"Hey, Oz... Do you always just stay cooped up in this office all day?How about we go get some lunch.catch up on the goodtimes, I figured it would be a good idea since... If Winter fails... Well..."

Ozpin did not smile or make any real change in his current expression.

"Ah yes, we could be spending our time in a prison cell."

"Yes... Well..."

Ozpin stood up from his seat, walked over to the man, and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Are you worried James? It's not like you... To doubt Winter Schnee's abilities."

James frowned, walking a bit past Ozpin, causing his hand to slip from his shoulder; he let out a sigh before speaking again.

"I don't doubt her, I'm worried about her, especially considering this goes against both her and my own beliefs... Yes, Aihana Etsu or Kaede Nath is a grave threat.And what must be done, must be done.Though I can't help but feel a bit in the wrong here."

Ozpin looked back at the man.

"Sometimes we have to make strong decisions, we are not proud of... Believe me, I have made some of the toughest decisions in my many lifetimes that most will not ever have to face in one lifetime,the world is not as nice as everyone believes James... you and I both know just how cruel a place it can be,but that cruelty requires people like us to keep it from everyone else... the ones who do not deserve to see that cruelty."

James Ironwood smiled and turned back.

"Well, let's not get all sappy now, please come back to my ship, we can eat and catch up, we weren't really able to hangout since all of this happened,we don't know if we will be getting another chance like this so now at this surprisingly calm moment with no Dark Side interruptions we shouldn't miss this chance right?"

Ozpin allowed a smile to adorn his face, he looked to the floor, thought for a moment, and then looked back up at the man.

"You're right, we may not get a chance such as this anytime soon.Besides, I have the sudden urge for some cake.I do hope you have cake back on your ship.Shortcake sounds good with another cup of hot chocolate."

The two men walked together back to the elevator side by side.

"I don't understand how you drink so much sugar and are not fat."

"That... My friend... Is one secret I will never share."

James let out a laugh at his friend's words as the elevator descended.

After the Dark Side went crazy, the attack on Beacon by The Spiders Mafia, Winter's mission, and his own worry, Ozpin decided that he would steal this chance to enjoy what life had to offer,it would also help him get his mind off of a certain witch he couldn't ever seem to stop thinking about.

The truth was, despite their current war with each other.

(I wonder if you are also enjoying a nice meal right now?Hmm... Even after all this time... Not a day goes by where I don't still miss you... Salem.)

The elevator reached the ground floor and the two men stepped off.

Suddenly something passed them, but whatever it was was unseen.although.

(What was that feeling? I felt like... Something just...) Ozpin's thoughts were suddenly on a different topic, as if whatever he was worried about just vanished from his mind.

He completely forgot everything that happened in the last 60 seconds.Confused he just continued onto what would be a delightful lunchtime.

The two men didn't even look back as the elevator doors had seemingly opened on their own.

The elevator ascended, and the elevator camera had caught nothing inside; it was as if a ghost was using the elevator.When that elevator reached the top of Beacon Tower, where there were no cameras, and for good reason, the doors opened and again, then closed.

When the coast was certainly clear, somebody appeared in Ozpin's office, somebody who didn't belong there, or in the school at all, that person had somehow used some form of invisibility,this ability was called Dummy Check, something that person picked up from a unique esper, Or those in the scientific city called Academy City, whoare given the titles;"the only ones." An "only one" esper, was a type of esper who held a unique ability that only they could have properly;no means of science or magic could duplicate said ability in a proper manner, and utilize it as the one who it belonged to.

Except one. The person standing in the room at this moment, the one known as The True Aihana Etsu, or at least that is what this person decided to call themselves, truthfully that person had a different name,one they had known for a long time, but decided that now was not the proper time to use said "true name" instead they created a new name for themselves.The name Aihana Etsu.

That name held a great deal of power and mystery throughout the scientific city, and, even had some recognition in The World of Remnant,that person had never actually planned for the name to become so popular, it was just something they could use.

Though at this moment, that name mattered none.

(That was easier than I imagined, all I had to do was manipulate the influence of that general, send a few suggestions into his mind, and connect the emotions of those two men to crave the same thing,they hadn't even realized they were being manipulated, of course, they had no power over it.Well now that those two are at a lunch that they never even wanted in the first place, it's time to get what I came here for... Now where is it?)

That person turned their head Left to right, looking around the tower, until their eyes met something of deep interest.

(And, there it is... He hides it in plain sight, clever wizard.)

That person looked at one specific object in the tower, an old yet still in good condition shiny gold mirror, people have come up to this tower multiple times, looked into this mirror,and never knew of the mirror's true purpose, It wasn't the mirror itself that person was after, rather it was something else.Something hidden.

They walked up to the mirror, pulled out a certain pair of glasses, and placed those glasses in the slot available at the top of the mirror;when that person completed this action, the mirror shifted, and something one would call truly strange happened.

The glass of the mirror had suddenly resembled water, no, it didn't just resemble water, the glass of the mirror had actually become water, and on the other side of that water was a hidden room,a room that had been disconnected from the current dimension, that room had been almost completely empty, all that was visible in it was a pedestal, but something sat atop that pedestal.

This was the item of interest for that person, as what sat on the pedestal was a golden crown with three gems in it.

This item was no ordinary crown, rather this crown was a special item.One created by a god, that very crown was given a name, as it was a lost relic of the world, that crown was known as Choice, and that was what made it interesting to the boy, The Relic of Choice.It was not like the other four relics of the gods; it was a very special relic; that specific relic had two main differences from the others.The first was that this relic did not have a spirit that dwelled within it as the others did.The second was that it could do something even the other relics could not, it could allow one to see the future.

No, see the future is not the correct term to use, rather, it allows somebody to decide the future,this relic could break the fundamental laws of the world and set a path to the future of choice based on the user's own desires, once that future has been set,it will happen regardless of laws or principles, however, there was a drawback to this relic, if that choice was unclear in the users mind when controlling the golden crown,it could cause that future to warp.

The shiny golden crown sat before that person on the pedestal; they picked it up, held it in their hands, and finally placed it on their head.

The moment they placed it on their head, several flashes of different visions passed through their mind; they saw many future events of both worlds, although their focus was on a specific power.Imagine Breaker, that was the power they desired more than any other future, and that was exactly what that person did,they set up a future where Imagine Breaker would become theirs in their own version of the power, while this crown was beyond reality, it still was not beyond that special right hand.The right hand that belongs to Touma Kamijou, The One Who Purifies God and Slays Demons, even The Relic of Choice did not have the power to steal Imagine Breaker,but Aihana Etsu knew that they could still use its power to create their own version,this choice would cause a number of events to happen and each of these events would be geared towards that end result.

As the person removed the crown, they let out a sadistic smile.

(With this in my possession, I'm invincible.)

This thought was interrupted by.

"Interesting, doing this, you have finally given me some excitement.I know you're name, but I won't speak it simply out of respect, So I will call you Aihana Etsu for now.

A voice spoke to him, the sound of that voice reverberated throughout the room in a loud echo and it's words sounded of static, Particles suddenly flew throughout the room;those particles were of a bright golden color, and they all began to collect in one specific area of the room forming a pattern before they began to warp and shift into something.

The vast space around had seemingly grown larger; it soon looked as though the person holding the grand crown was standing on a moving galaxy or universe.The entrance had disappeared, and the particles soon stopped when they finally took the form of something.

That form was a golden-colored being, one might call this being an extraterrestrial being, one might call it an Angel, one might even call it nothing more than a mass of AIM Energy Fields,but despite what you call this mysterious being, in truth it is one thing,it is a being that was once summoned by Academy City's Head Chairman Aleister Crowley and his mentor Samuel Lidele McGregor Mathers.That being was known to very few as The Holy Guardian Angel Aiwass.

The being before that person only known as Aihana Etsu, was truly strange, it took on the appearance of both male and female but seemed to be neither, it had very long hair,a robe that covered its entire body, and was barefoot, the beings eyes didn't look like eyes, since they matched the rest of its body and were pure gold without pupils and finally,it also seemed to have had some form of a halo above its head.

The being known as Aiwass didn't need to touch the floor, it hovered above the ground slightly as if the laws and rules of gravity didn't apply to it, though if it wished to stand, it simply could,which at this moment it did, as it placed it's bare feet upon the floor of this room which currently looked of a moving galaxy.

"So, Aiwass... Are you here to take this?Or is there some other reason you left your dimension?"

The being known only as Aiwass smiled to itself before answering.

"Truthfully, I don't care about that worthless item, but, much like the de*z*fen...se sy*st*zem he installed in me, Aleister Crowley also installed a mechanism that uses me to protect that Relic,if it was up to me I would simply let you take it... I don't care for the trifles of mortals if the subject doesn't interest me.Unfortunately, and Ultimately,I have been re-engineered with a pr*Ogr@m that won't allow me to disobey a certain set of o*D*r*s from Aleister Crowley."

"So then. Seems like Aleister has you on a leash... I would say, you may be even more tied down than The #1.I know much about Aleister Crowley, but I don't know that much about you apart from the name you were given... And that you are supposedly one of The Secret Chiefs, apart from you being an Angel."

"You've done your research #6, I would have expected nothing less from The One Who Meddles In Aleister Crowley's Plan.though I suppose you're correct in assuming we are currently enemies, though I do find this encounter to be interesting, even more interesting than killing myself out of my own b*oR*d*M."

Aihana Etsu took immediate notice at how some of the words that Aiwass spoke distorted.It was as if the language he was speaking in those specific moments, were from a language that was beyond the understanding of beings who have not stepped into the territory of God.Like mortal ears simply couldn't comprehend the language, like those words didn't exist in the known reality of humanity when that Angelic being spoke them.

"Well, then..."

That was all Aihana Etsu said before the energy in the room collected in one spot, a mass of invisible power formed into an attack, one that was capable of shaking the entire planet,that energy became a physical and conceptual air, this was the Aero hand esper ability much like that which is used by Mitsuko Kongou,but the scale of this power was far beyond anything that girl was capable of, suddenly that ball of pressurized air became covered in electricity,the electricity was not natural and rather was a yellow color, this was not dust, but rather it was a second esper ability.After this, for safekeeping,The boy raised his other hand and the relic was concealed in a bubble of some form.

All of that mass of power that could probably level an entire kingdom on Remnant shot at Aiwass, though the being didn't seem worried at all;rather, it just allowed that power to hit it and didn't lift a finger to defend itself.The mass of power enveloped the being of AIM Energy known as Holy Guardian Angel Aiwass, but.

"You can't be...! after that!?"

Aihana Etsu's shock was justified as that mass of power had not left so much as a scratch on the being known as Holy Guardian Angel Aiwass.

Suddenly nearly transparent wings shot out from the back of Aiwass, those wings were colored a pure platinum, they tore through anything in their path as Aihana Etsu tried to defend,but his attempts were pointless, nothing could stop those platinum wings, a pair of wings that even had the power to tear through Magic Gods, and Great Demon Coronzon,Aiwass was one of the most powerful beings in existence and his wings touched the highest realm of Sephiroth, through his use of Clonoth.The realm only known as the hidden 11th sphere.

Holy Guardian Angel Aiwass, was a being so great that at his true and full power he wouldn't even break a sweat if he had to defend himself from a magic god,as Aiwass has killed those invincible magic gods with nothing more than a single move in the past.

Aihana Etsu's body was torn through without delay, the wings bypassing any form of defense, be it matter or energy, the energy of the soul or aura were no exception;even the power known as Dark Matter could not stand up to those platinum-colored wings.They tore through one end of Aihana Etsu's body and out the other end, effectively stabbing through him completely.

Aihana Etsu let out a scream falling to the ground; that person's own blood soaked their body pooling around them;the odd part was they were not healing from this attack, normally they had an ability that would heal them from almost any wound,but that ability seemed to either be delayed or simply wasn't working at all, their tissue regeneration was just gone.

As Aihana Etsu struggled to breathe on the floor, Aiwass walked over to the crown which was still floating in the strange bubble esper power,but before that extraterrestrial angel could grab the crown it suddenly vanished into a vortex, that portal connected between worlds to a random location,the person known as Aihana Etsu had some means of controlling the emergency teleport esper ability while utilizing his semblance simultaneously to an extent,but he couldn't be entirely surewhere on "Earth" that crown would end up; he would have to find it all over again.

This same logic also applied to themselves as they had also suddenly vanished using the same esper power and Remnant semblance.

After that person vanished, Holy Guardian Angel Aiwass let out a sigh.

"Oh well... It's not like I cared about it anyway.Honestly, anything that can make Aleister Crowley's life harder brings me en*joY*mEn*nt."

With that, The being known as Aiwass returned to its own dimension leaving the room after returning it back to its originalstate,the being also had decided to leave Glynda Goodwitch's glasses on Ozpin's desk, figuring that it could get some enjoyment when they finally discovered the missing relic at a futuredate.

And that's the Chapter, Another pretty big one, and expect the next one to be the same size if not bigger,since next chapter will finally be the last chapter of Volume 2 and will finish the Dark Side War Arc,I myself am excited because Volume 3 is so close and I will finally be able to write the World Rejector Arc. Man that Arc is hopefully going to be the best one in the story,with what I have planned for it.

So, last chapter we got a big attack on Beacon, this chapter we focused on Frenda, and she finally accomplished her goal of killing Mark Fringe, but of course, her work is not done,as Kaede Ibotanokikouji, aka Kaede Nath, needs to be stopped, and Frenda knows she can't just allow the girl to create world domination.

I hope you all enjoyed that little shopping scene, it was one of the most fun parts to write.Yes, it is inspired by the few scenes in To Aru where Accelerator and Touma were in the same area but never saw each other,Shizuri and Frenda came very close to seeing one another in person in Remnant, but the author doesn't allow it,of course for those who read both stories you know that Frenda and Mugino don't meet on Remnant until Chapter 12 of The Accelerator Story or Book 1 as this is Book 0.

Speaking of that scene, I introduced a character named Addian Arkhage, I mentioned him before in both stories but not by name, However, that character is actually from Shizuri's side of things,we may see him once more in this story, but he actually belongs to a different story I may be making in the future,there are a lot of possibilities in this fanfiction universe and a lot of ideas in this crazy head of mine.

Glynda Goodwitch vs Shizuri Mugino.One on one, Glynda Goodwitch could never really defeat Shizuri Mugino, I feel Shizuri could have beaten her faster, but I didn't want that part to be too short, so I did drag the fight out a bit,I hope you all have been able to follow along with all these crazy out of book things that happen, like Glynda's glasses serving a purpose,For those who were maybe a bit confused,I will just say this. "I mentioned in the chapter that those glasses were a gift from Ozpin."

They actually do two things she doesn't know about, First as we saw they open a portal to The Relic of Choice, In Volume 8 of RWBY Proper,Salem mentioned that Ozpin hid Choice differently than the other Relics, so I thought that this would be a great trick to use for a crafty wizard like Ozpin, Why not hide it in a magical mirror?Rather than the Beacon Academy Vault.

The 2nd thing her glasses do is heal her eyesight;it wasn't mentioned in this chapter but will be mentioned in the next chapter, that Glynda will realize that her vision has been getting better over time the more she wears the glasses.

The fight between Frenda Seivelun and Mark Fringe was one of the more fun moments in the chapter for me to write, I really enjoyed it, So, when it came to his semblance,I talked Mark Fringe up like he was unbeatable, but his semblance had a major flaw, and while he may have been unbeatable to any other person he fought,Frenda's semblance allowed her to detect Mark's, she was able to simply outsmart him.

So, next Chapter as you saw in this Chapter, I added a few extras to the Search and Destroy mission and replaced Doctor Oobleck with Glynda Goodwitch, I explained why I did that in the Chapter,it made sense after what happened to Ruby in Chapter 2;That event left a bit of a mark on her, and she wouldn't have been comfortable with Oobleck, as for the extra's well,well let's just say my version of the Search and Destroy mission will be much bigger than the original.

Okay, onto what I think I have to talk about, Aiwass's appearance in the chapter and The True Aihana Etsu stealing Choice or I guess sending it to Earth someplace,well Aihana Etsu is going to be explained later in Book 1 at some point,and Aiwass has the power to jump in and out of Remnant as his separate personal dimension is connected to both Earth and Remnant,I already mentioned a few times in the Main Story that The Enlightenment only has a small portion of Aiwass's power, so that should tell you already how he can do what he did this Chapter.

Considering it was Aiwass that Aihana Etsu was fighting before he got his own Imagine Breaker, I thought it only accurate that he would be one-shotted by Aiwass,much like what happened to Accelerator when he fought against Aiwass in A Certain Magical Index Old Testament, Just like In original Index,Aiwass is one of the strongest characters in my fanfiction verse, although not quite at the level of Magic God Kronos,he and Kronos are similar in power when Aiwass is at full power and Kronos is at a little over half-power, okay,I don't want to spoil my plans for Aiwass in either story so I will drop the subject before I say something I will regret later.

So, now that this Chapter is finished, We haveonemore to go in Volume 2 as I mentioned, and at the same time,The Accelerator Story's Grimmlin Arc and Volume 8 will be finished in the next chapter of that, of course as always that will be after the next sex story chapter,the one that will have a viewer discretion warning before it starts, but I will say, whoever is like myself aka a femdom lover, you will love the next sex storychapter,it actually may be pretty big and it will actually be only part 1 of a 3parter.I am going to do part 1 and then a little later down the line do part 2, so no, parts 1, 2, and 3 will not be happening one after the other; rather, there will be other chapters in between eachpart.

So yep, as always, first the Accelerator story, then the Frenda Story, then the sex story, and finally back to The Accelerator Story, so I will be writing that, and to behonest,I have fun writing hotstuff.(wink) Okay, that wascringe.
