Forgotten Temple, Gate

"So… I guess this is goodbye…" ZeldaC stood with the others before the Gate.

There was little time left that the backup power would allow. When the Gate vanished, all would be returned to their proper timeline. Crossing over now was simply a formality.

"It was an honor and privilege to assist, and to see you all again…" ZeldaU stated.

Along with the Champions, Mineru, PurahC, RobbieC, Terrako and ImpaC were gathered to see off ZeldaU, LinkU, Paya, Tauro, Josha and the Sages.

"Master… I shall remain here, with my master of this time…" Terrako told ZeldaU, "But this Secret Stone I carry belonged to my mother in your time, so please take it with you."

It detached the Secret Stone from itself. ZeldaU took it and nodded.

"This little one shall inherit my Stone. Don't worry." Mineru assured her of what she already knew.

"Sidon… on the other side of that gate, I know my spirit is watching you, full of the same pride I feel. You are a magnificent Zora King, just as I know you will be here!" Mipha told Sidon.

"Sister… Thank you. And I know. As I said last time, our hearts will always be connected!" Sidon teared up slightly.

"You got a bunch of good things going on over there, Yunobo! I'm proud to call such an amazing Goron my grandson! Do a good job with Darvil, too!" Daruk patted Yunobo heartily on the shoulder.

"Daruk… I will! And I'll talk to my dad, for real this time! Thanks to my time here, I finally know what to say!" Yunobo was full of joy and determination.

"I must admit, I've learned quite a bit from you and your Brigade. The future shall be fun, for both of us!" Revali said to Tulin.

"It's an honor to hear you say that, Master Revali! You're right, too! There's still loads for me to do!" Tulin nodded excitedly.

"I took a few liberties while in your time. I hope you don't mind, but your father will be waiting to meet you at Kara Kara Bazaar." Urbosa winked.

"Really?! I…suppose it's time I go meet him, then. I've put off one duty of mine long enough. Thank you, Lady Urbosa." Riju responded.

"It was a great experience meeting you, Paya." Impa C told her granddaughter, "I'm proud of you, and what I saw in your future was truly impressive. And Tauro? Take good care of her."

"Grandmother…"

"You bet I will!"

With that, the Gate was crossed. After a few seconds it closed.

"I'll never forget what happened or the things I've witnessed." ZeldaC said.

Great Sky Island, A few days later

Tents had been erected throughout the newly discovered Great Sky Island. Distinguished warriors and their families gathered in a clearing to celebrate the new age of peace to come.

"Sidon! Don't go too far now!" Mipha kneeled down in front of her brother, who was in attendance with their father.

"Sister… you said you wanted to tell me something?" Sidon asked.

"Yes… you see this Stone? It is an object of great power and responsibility. On the day you inherit the throne from father, this Stone will become yours. Until then, train to become the great king I know you can be!"

Sidon nodded and gave his trademark smile.

"I brought a few of my friends from Castle Town, mother! I hope you don't mind." Shirana introduced a group of 10 young men and women to Urbosa.

"Lady Urbosa! It's an honor to meet you!" They all said in unison. Then one young man stepped forward.

"Please! Try this! It's an apple pie recipe I've been working on."

"Oh my. Are you sure you don't want Shirana to try it first? Or perhaps you want to test it on her mother first?" Urbosa teased, watching the young man blush. So this must be him, the young artisan named Nester…

"Dig in, Rupon! No training today, just Prime Rock Roast and fun!" Daruk was spending quality time with his son.

"Yeah! But we gotta do more training soon! I wanna be just as cool and strong as you and Yunobo!"

In a nearby clearing, three young Rito stood before Revali. They bore resemblance to their descendants who would one day be Tulin's Lieutenants.

"You three shall be my first apprentices. Take pride in this honor of learning from the Great Revali!"

"Y-Yes Sir!"

Impa was discussing wedding plans with Ertis over food and drink. Purah was also there, thinking about how her future self must have reversed the aging process. A bold new project for her…

Elsewhere, Link was meeting with a group of people. The family of the lead singer of the music troupe performing at this celebration. A tearful reunion for both sides…_

Later

"The view here is amazing." Link looked out over the edge.

The other purpose of the celebration, private for a select few, was to say goodbye to Mineru.

"I've only known you for a short time, but I feel like we're so close…" Zelda said to Mineru, who was now in her spirit form.

"To me, we are old friends. Know that though your other self experienced much sorrow in her time with my brother and his wife, there was much joy as well. But that is for your other self. You both have things the other wishes they had."

"Indeed. I'm sure Rauru and Sonia were wonderful people. I do wish I could have known them…"

"Mother…" Terrako quivered, "I shall watch over Zelda for you."

"Don't forget about us!" Daruk inserted.

"Actually… don't you think now would be a good time…?" Urbosa began.

"Really? That thing?" Revali half scoffed.

"Oh yes! Let's do it!" Mipha volunteered.

With that Mipha, Daruk, Revali, Urbosa and Terrako gathered in a semi circle around Zelda and Link.

"Those of us" They stated in unison, "Gathered here. Swear on our lives. To serve Zelda and the Kingdom of Hyrule!"

With a smile, Mineru departed. This future was theirs now.
