Hello everyone, Lealius here with a new crossover story, this one is for Spider-man and Shikimori´s not Just a Cutie

The idea for this one came from the work from Knight-Aedo-Rhapsodios and his own Izumi spiderman fic, so I decided to do one of my own, doubt it will be as good as his, but I´ll give it a shot

This story will take place while the gang is on their second year of highscool, right after the school festival and the situation with Kamiya (which I believe are episodes 7,8 and 9 of the anime) i will also go through their 3rd year, and maybe even college, either way, there will be spoilers for the manga, so watch out for that

This tale, like many others, starts with some random luck

In this one, it was random luck in the form of a bug bite

And the one affected by it, was a young man, only 16

This young man has endured quite his share of bad luck

Some will say that him being bitten by this bug will be nothing new

But that's where they are wrong

Because this one will change him forever

And the consequences that it will bring for him, both in short term and long term

Will decide his fate

Let's follow his story from the beginning

It was a clear Monday day for the city of Hino

The sun was shining, not many clouds on the sky, though it was a bit chilly, as expected of October

-"Hah, hah" a young man with purple shiny hair was panting while running "I can´t be late, not today, and I made sure to change the batteries of my alarm clock last night, but this still had to happen"

He was Yuuki Izumi, just a regular highschool student on his 2nd year

He was known for his optimistic attitude and kindness, one would think that the word hate does not exist in his dictionary

But what stood out the most of him was his bad luck

Losing his wallet, getting hit by a newspaper, tripping and dropping his lunch tray, you name it, he most likely had endure it

But that never stopped him before, and it wasn't gonna do it now

-"There it is" he noticed his school entrance, sprinting a bit faster, he arrived at his destination

There were lots of students by the school front yard, separated in different groups

-"Oh" a spiky blonde/brownish young man known as Shuu Inuzuka noticed him, and shook his head in amusement "About time he showed up"

-"Some things never change" a small blonde young woman known as Yui Hachimitsu added

-"Over here, Izumi!" a rather energetic young woman with long black hair known as Kyou Nekozaki waved at him

Noticing the direction where the voice came from, Izumi went to his friends

-"Hah, morning, hah, guys" Izumi said, catching his breath

-"I was worried that you weren't gonna make it" Inuzuka said

-"Yeah, my alarm clock didn't go off, thank goodness my parents woke me up"

-"You came running all the way here?" Nekozaki asked

-"Yeah, my parents could not brought me, so I have no other choice"

-"How many times did you fall?" Hachimitsu asked

-"Don´t ask something like that, Hachimitsu!" Inuzuka reprimanded her

-"I didn´t… much" the young one pouted cutely

Then, he felt a cooling sensation against the back of his neck, turning around, he noticed a bottle of water being held by someone with a warm smile, and shiny pink hair

-"Thought you could use it, hehe" she was Miyako Shikimori, Izumi´s girlfriend

-"Thank you, Shikimori-san" the young man took the bottle and drinking, the fresh beverage revitalizing him from his long run

Suddenly, busses started to stop in from of the school entrance

-"Ok, everybody, listen up!" a teacher called "We are about to visit the Hino campus of the Tokyo Metropolitan University, it goes without saying, but everybody must be on their best behavior, and not cause any problems, understood?"

-"Yes, ma´am!" the students said

-"All right, class 2-4 take bus A, class 2-3"

On their way here, Shikimori decided to start conversation with her boyfriend

-"Are you excited about this trip, Izumi-san?"

-"Well, it is interesting, to be honest, I haven´t decided on an university yet, maybe this trip will help with that"

-"Yeah, I think so too"

-"Have you decided on a career to follow"

The pink haired placed a hand on her chin "I do have a few ideas, but nothing concrete"

-"Well" he got nervous

-"What is it?" she got concerned

-"I was just thinking" he scratched his cheek "That it will be cool to go to the same university"

-"Ngh!" she got bright red

-"I-I mean, it's just an idea"

She placed her hands on her cheeks

-"No need to get like that"

Now it was his turn to get flustered

-"And I do like the idea"

-"Oh" he felt silly "You beat me to it then"

-"Hehe, seriously though, let's pay attention to what we can learn on this trip"

With a confident nod, the duo kept talking about just anything until they finally arrived

-"Good morning students from Hino High School" a male voice said, dressed up in a lab coat "Welcome to the Hino Campus of the Tokyo Metropolitan University. Here we have the Graduate School of Systems Design, which Specializes on Computer Sciences, and the Graduate School of Science, which specializes in Biological Sciences. I´m the head of the Graduate School of Science, Hiro Nakamura"

-"You´ll be split into two groups of two classes each" the teacher said "Classes 2-4 and 2-2 will start at the Graduate School of Systems Design, while the other two classes will head to the Graduate School of Science. Afterwards, we will meet for lunch, and then you will switch orientation to the other school"

While class 2-3 was exploring the school of science

-"Nakamura-san" a female voice said "We have a situation"

The head of the school took some steps away while his assistant kept explaining some things to the students "What is it?"

-"It's one of the 13 spiders from the most recent experiment on enhanced arachnids"

-"What about it?"

-"It's gone, sir, number 13 is gone!"

His face went pale "W-What?! How?"

-"We are checking the security footage, sir, it's display case is empty, so it must have happened just before the students arrived"

-"Damn it, we need to find it, our lives are at stake here!"

After checking the school of systems, students were given an hour for lunch

Deciding to make a quick stop first, Izumi was on his way to the bathroom

-"That was not bad, it was a bit hard to understand though, at least Hachimitsu-san looked excited, she's always been good with computers"

He arrived to his destination, but before entering, the door for women's bathroom opened as someone left

-"Oh" she was a young woman with short dark blue hair known as Ai Kamiya, she showed him a polite smile "Hello, Izumi-kun"

-"Hi, Kamiya-san" he was happy to meet her, they volunteered together at the school library many times, so they were on friendly terms "Enjoying the trip?"

-"It is good, although"

-"What it is?"

-"Well, Nakamura-san looked quite distraught, like something serious happened"

-"That's odd, any idea why?"

-"I´m sorry, but I don´t"

-"Oh, it's ok, I'm sure they'll manage"

-"Agree" she then remembered something "It's actually a good thing I ran into you, Izumi-kun"

-"What is it?"

-"Tachibana-sensei wants to meet with us on wednesday after school in order to discuss some things in regards to the library, she asked me to pass this message to you"

-"Oh, ok, no problem, sorry that you have to do the messenger role"

She shook her head "No need to apologize, it was no problem. Anyway, I´ll be heading back"

-"I´ll see you then, Kamiya-san"

-"Yeah, take care, oh, and say hi to Nekozaki and Shikimori for me"

-"I will"

And she was gone

Once he was finished with his business, Izumi returned to his group, seating on a table outside the cafeteria

-"Welcome back" Shikimori greeted him

-"Thanks" he took a seat "What's new?"

-"Nothing much" Inuzuka said "I do love the fresh air here though"

-"Yeah, It makes me want to just lay down and relax" Nekozaki added

-"I love this place" Hachimitsu said "They have the best equipment I´ve ever seen, I want to study here"

-"That's good, Hachimitsu-san" Izumi said "Oh, I ran into Kamiya-san leaving the bathroom, she sends her regards to you Shikimori-san, and you as well, Nekozaki-san"

-"Thank you" the pink haired smiled

-"Man" Nekozaki said "Feels weird that next year will be 3rd years, time flies when you are having fun"

-"We still have plenty of time to go on more adventures" Shikimori said, she then looked at Izumi "Together"

With a slight blush, Izumi said "Definitely"

-"Awww" Nekozaki said "You guys gonna be like this when we are in university?"

-"Wait till you are in the dorms" Hachimitsu added

The lovely duo laughed at the teasing

-"With you guys, there aren't boring times" Inuzuka said

What they didn't notice due to their fun, was a little red and blue spider that made its way into Izumi´s bad that was on the floor, making it its new home

Meanwhile, with Nakamura and the rest of the staff

-"According to this security footage" one of the guards said "Some 3rd party got his/her hands on one of the staff´s ID cards, and use it to enter the room where the spiders are kept"

The footage showed a slim figured covered in black, opening the spider´s display case, and putting the spider inside a test tube

-"Whoever he/she was took quite the risk, you think he/she got help from the inside?" Nakamura asked

-"Could be, we are running questionnaires to the staff, but look at this" the guard fast forwarded the footage, showing the thief slipping and dropping the tube in which the spider was, breaking it and releasing the arachnid "Whoever that person was, he/she released the spider when he/she fell"

-"So it must still be on campus" Nakamura said "I'll prepare some dispatch teams, they´ll start once the students are gone, let me know if you find anything else"

-"Yes, sir!"

The sun began to set into the horizon, coloring the sky into a bright orange

The gang was back from the trip, exchanging a few more words before parting ways

-"Well, today was fun" Shikimori said

-"I think Hachimitsu had the time of her life" Nekozaki said with a teasing tone

-"I regret nothing" the short one proudly said

The group laughed

Then Izumi remembered something

-"Oh, right, Inuzuka-kun, I have the notes you asked me for"

-"Cool"

Izumi put his right hand into his bag, looking for the papers

But instead, he was greeted with a rather painful pinching sensation near his thumb

-"Ow!" the young one dropped his bag because of the unexpected pain, scattering all his belongings on the ground

-"What´s wrong?!" Shikimori said, immediately on his side, concern all over her face

-"I don't know, I just felt like a pinching sensation, similar to a needle or something"

Upon further inspection, he noticed a red mark on his right hand

-"Maybe you stab yourself with a pencil or something?" Nekozaki said

-"You ok?" Inuzuka asked

-"Yeah" the pain was gone "It must have been what Nekozaki-san said"

-"Are you sure?" Shikimori asked

-"Definitely, it does not hurt anymore" he noticed his belongings on the floor "Better clean this"

-"We'll help you"

And they all started to pick up the unlucky one´s stuff

What they failed to noticed was a small red and blue spider walking away, the responsible of Izumi´s accident, due to the fact that it bit him

Until

-"Ugh" a random student noticed the spider, stepping on it with all his might "I hate spiders, you´ll have to be really unlucky to get bitten though" picking up the spider with a napkin, he threw it in a garbage container

The bug was squashed, though it has already done its deed

On their way home, Izumi and Shikimori were chatting peacefully

Until Izumi sneeze 3 times in a row

-"Bless you" Shikimori said, and she handed him a napkin "Here you go"

-"Thanks. I hope I'm not about to come down with a flu or something"

-"I hope so too, do let me know if it happens thought, I´ll be there in a second"

-"I wouldn't want you to get you sick either"

-"I wouldn't mind"

-"Why not?"

She smiled at him "Because I know you´ll be the best nurse ever"

This got the young man to greatly blush, though he appreciate the sentiment

-"W-Well of course, I just hope the patient does not misbehave"

-"Hey! that's unnecessary and you know it!" despite her tone, she was not angry

-"My girlfriend/boyfriend is so cute and cool"

Those were their respective thoughts

Just the daily life for these two young lover

Eventually, they parted ways, and Izumi arrived home

-"I´m home!"

-"Welcome back, Yuu" his mother, Motoko Izumi, yelled from the kitchen "Dinner will be soon"

-"Got it"

-"How did the trip go?" his father, Akizada Izumi, asked as he was setting up the table

-"Pretty well, they have some advanced technology there, and everybody there sure knows their stuff. I am going to the bathroom"

Once inside the bathroom, he did his business, and began washing his hands, and that's when he noticed the mark where that he got from the strange pinching sensation

-"Huh?" the young purple haired was confused, the mark was no longer just a red mark, like the one you get from a mosquito, but now it was a full blister the size of a coin "Did it get bigger somehow?" touching it, it felt soft and slimy "Maybe I should apply some ice"

Looking at himself in the mirror one more time, something strange happened

For a split second, his vision got blurry, and he felt lightheaded

-"What the?" the initial scare got him, he was looking fine now "I am about to come down with a flu, right?"

Letting out a disappointed sigh, he left the bathroom

He was now having dinner with his parents, but

-"Yuu" her mother said concerned "Are you ok? You have barely eaten anything"

She was right, he barely got a few bites out of his food

-"I´m not sure, I am not with appetite, I don't know why"

-"Hmm" his father added "How are you feeling?"

-"Well…" strange was the answer "I have a headache, and before coming here, I sneeze a couple of times"

-"You should head to bed then, looks to me you are about to have a flu, better start resting now"

-"Y-Yeah" he did felt tired "Good idea"

-"Call us if you need anything" her mom said

Walking up the stairs felt like the hardest task he has ever had to do, each step was getting heavier

Eventually, he walked into his room, closing the door

-"What the?" the whole world was spinning for him

In a flash of light, he could feel the presence of a spider

-"What's wrong with me?"

Barely making it to his bed, his face landed on the pillow

Once more, the presence of the spider showed up in his mind

As he drifted into sleep, he could feel that spider crawling through his body

-"Leave…me…alone"

Those were his final words before he was fully asleep, not knowing how things will change in the morning

Back at the campus, Nakamura could not stop fidgeting, nervous about the whole situation

-"No trace of the spider yet"

His phone rang

-"Nakamura here"

-"Sir" a member of the security staff "We have located the spider"

Letting out a sigh of relief , Nakamura said "Thank goodness, you have the instructions on how to retrieve it and bring it, so"

-"That's the problem sir" the guard interrupted "The insect has been killed"

-"What?!" Nakamura was in disbelief "Explain!"

-"As you requested, we searched through the area of the school that came to visit today, and we found the spider, or what was left of it, on a nearby trash container, someone squashed it really hard, it is mostly paste mixed with what was on the trash container"

-"Damn it!" Nakamura cursed his luck "And that was our most precious specimen!"

-"I'm sorry sir"

Nakamura let out one more sigh "It is what it is, the board won't be happy though, return at once"

He hung up "Well, better that than falling in the wrong hands I guess, I just hope no one was bitten… Nah, that would be ridiculous"

Little did everybody, specially Izumi and his loved ones knew

The gears of fate had already start turning

And that´s the end of that, Izumi has no idea what he will wake up with, and the adventures and tragedies that awaits him

So, what do you think? I know it is a slow start, but trust me, things will get more crazy on the next chapter, specially once i reveal the first villain for the saga
