New Beginnings

Given the geography of where most of the plot will played out, Japanese will be the lesser language spoken, so it will be written 'like this', whilst the main language spoken will be 'like this'.
The flight from Japan to Sweden had turned out to be a long, uneventful trip, with Riku Matsuo sitting in the middle of three seats of the plane designed to accommodate demi-species, finding himself flanked by both Christella and Sylvia Andersen. The female Kobold flight attendant had just relayed the Captain's announcements, walking passed them, making sure that they had fastened their seatbelts for the upcoming landing.
'No turning back now', Riku muttered under his breath in the local language.
It had been a month since the Matriarch of the Andersen Family and his grandparents had landed a bombshell on him, and he was still taking it all in. It seemed that his parents had been in on the idea too, however, his older brother, Daisuke Matsuo, and his wife, Miharu-san, had been taken by complete surprise of their brother/brother-in-law's impending future.
Preparations for working and living abroad had already been made. Most of Riku's belongings had already been shipped off to the Andersen household in advance, with the man just taking hand luggage with him on the actual date and time of their journey. The Matsuo Corporation was opening an overseas branch quite conveniently near the Andersen household, and so, he was to oversee this, along with their dealings within the European market. So, it was not going to be all fun and games for him in his new home. He had already been introduced to the people with whom he would be working with, and and a rundown of what was to expect and what was expected of him. Despite his new living conditions, his family still expected him to make appearances back in Japan for business and social obligations, meaning the house that he had worked so hard to build up and pay off would remain as his Japanese residence when he was visiting family back home and when he was assisting in the family business back in Japan.
Not that I can call it home anymore the Matsuo thought with much discomfort.
It was not that he did not love Christella, nor hold any feelings for Sylvia-san. Given his past circumstances and relationships, it could be said that whilst he had not been desperate for companionship, the prospect of having more than one partner and having to provide for all of them, unnerved him. He had been reassured by both of his travelling companions that he had nothing to worry about, and that their family was quite eager to meet him. This, however, this did little to calm his thoughts on the matter. Riku Matsuo had never been a coward in his life, never once shying away from his duties, but the sudden huge responsibility placed on his shoulders terrified the young man, despite reassurances from his family that he would be okay, and that they were always be just a call away if he ever needed to talk.
Easy for them all to say the Matsuo had grumbled more than once in his head. They are not the ones who have to go through with this.
The feeling of the plane's rear wheels bumping on and off the runway as it landed brought him back to the present and stirred his female companions from their slumber. Both had been resting their heads on his shoulders. Now awake, both Scylla stretched themselves, their lower limbs able to move freely with the extra foot space they had paid for.
'Morning Riku', Christella spoke with a sleepy smile, nuzzling into his neck.
'Morning', Sylvia followed from his other side. 'Darling'.
Darling Riku Matsuo mentally shook his head at the thought. He was still getting used to be called these pet names from the pair of demi-girls, not to mention their over clinginess which had earned him more than one look of jealously from men. Looks that he knew that he would have to get accustomed to. Amongst other things.
It was not helped that both Andersen's were naturally beauties, but since Riku Matsuo had known that he had Scylla blood running through his veins from an early age, he had started to notice certain things he had never been aware of before. He now knew why a majority of human women had stayed away from him, despite his reasonable good looks and prospects, and how this may have effected his past relationships, causing them to end up in failures or ugly break ups. In contrast, both demi-girls could hardly keep their hands, and tentacles off of him.
Through his Grandmother and his two travelling companions, Riku had learned that male Scylla hybrids gave off certain pheromones that female Scylla could not resist, but in turn would naturally put off human women. This explained his body behaving in a different way compared to his previous partners, with himself getting aroused in the very presence of the Scylla now in his life, as well as being able to last longer in his night time antics with the ladies.
Some of the main reasons they 'need' me the man had summed up in his head. Whilst most men would kill to be in his position, the Matsuo wasn't as keen on being what he thought was a breeding stallion for a demi-species in crisis. This way of thinking came from a long-entrenched code of morals he had made for himself, especially since he had been on the receiving end of cheating more than once in the past. And now he felt that this self-taught code was being slowly eroded away by the women's lusty advances on him and that he was no better than his exes now, despite reassurances from both Andersen's that he was not doing anything wrong.
They had sat down with him, explaining that this was what they expected of him, and it had always been this way. Both Christella and Sylvia had calmed and comforted him, easing his anxiety and ensuring him that he would be okay, that he should relax and let loose, enjoy the future life they would make together.
I just need some time the man thought back in the present, taking his hand luggage out from the overhead storage, before assisting the girls with theirs. Time to get used to it.
'Riku', Christella Andersen spoke in her native tongue. 'It's time to go'.
The passengers in front of them had finally stopped dawdling and moved forward off the plane, taking their cumbersome suitcases with them. And so, in turn, both man and the two Scylla made their way to exit, the door somewhat larger than usual to allow the entrance and exit of a variety of different species. Finally at the doorway, Riku was greeted with a gush of ice-cold wind.
'Not a place for cold blooded demi-humans like Lamia or the sort', the young man pondered aloud, grateful that he had donned winter clothing at the girl's suggestions.
They walked down the steps, across a small road that separated the main airport buildings from the runway. Once crossed, the trio made their way through the double doors and queued up to have their passports checked. As it became Riku's turn to be checked, he approached the counter, handing the Arachne his passport.
'What's the reason for your stay', the girl asked politely with a professional smile.
'Business and personal reasons', the man declared, not lying really.
The demi-girl clerk took one final look at his passport and visa, made eye contact with him and gave him a quick nod of confirmation.
'Welcome, sir', she finally said with another smile. 'I hope you enjoy your stay here'.
'Thank you, ma'am,', he replied with a polite nod and smile of his own. 'I'll try'.
'Try he says', he heard Christella chuckle behind him.
'We'll have to make sure to play the good hostesses', Sylvia stated with an unseen smirk.
These comments caused the man to blush a slight red, and he moved passed the counter and through the next set of doors, followed by his two travelling companions shortly afterwards.
'Alright, just need to get our hold luggage', Sylvia announced to the pair. 'Then we can take the car and head over to the estate'.
'You've got a private car?' Riku asked with a cocked eyebrow.
'Yes, a custom job', Christella confirmed with a nod. 'Specially designed for Scylla'.
'We even have a chauffeur', her Mother followed up. 'Also, a Scylla'.
'Hmm, given your prestige and wealth I suppose I shouldn't be surprised', the man pursed his lips in thought. 'A car designed for demi-species to drive? Sounds like a market to future invest in'.
Finally claiming the girl's suitcases, all three made their way through the double doors of Arrivals, being greeted once more by another gust of ice-cold wind. As expected of an airport entrance, the scenery was dominated by cars, taxis, minibuses, even large tour coaches, and amongst these vehicles were swarms of bustling people, both human and demi-human, carrying luggage to or from their rides, greeting friends and relatives who had just arrived or making their way across the road to other transports waiting to pick them up. Riku stayed put amongst this mob of frenzied activity, waiting on the girls to locate the car that would take them away from this madness and to the Andersen's estate.
Once spotted, both Christella and Sylvia Andersen looped an arm each with his, and the trio moved as one, two large suitcases trailing behind them noisily. As they came closer to assigned car, Riku noticed someone was waiting for them.
The person standing next to their designated vehicle was dressed in a black suit and wearing a black driver's hat, their chauffeur without a doubt, and was none other than a Scylla also. No surprise there Riku muttered in his head, rolling his eyes in silent annoyance.
What was surprising was the woman herself. Standing tall on eight black leather and fake fur covered appendages, the new face stood well over a head taller than her three charges, her stature powerfully built, neither fat nor thin. Her hair was a snow white blonde, her skin was pale enough to put Sylvia's porcelain complexion to shame, but still healthy nonetheless, and her light blue eyes took in her surroundings as if with a near, cold boredom to it.
'Hello Nikita', Christella chirped cheerfully. 'Nice to see you're well'.
'Good morning to you, Madam', the third woman greeted them with a curt nod. 'Young Miss'.
The towering woman bowed politely in the presence of her mistresses, and, no matter how well tailored her uniform was, this did not stop her very generous chest from generously jiggling as she dipped forward for formalities, their male companion cocking an eyebrow at this display, before looking away out of consideration.
'Nikita I'd like to introduce you to somebody', Sylvia announced, stepping back and to one side. 'Nikita, this is Riku Matsuo, he will be staying with us for the time being'.
The tallest of the three Scylla paused at this, before standing up straight, acknowledging the presence of their guest with a blank face, her hooded eyes and pale features betraying no emotion or feeling on the matter. A moment of awkward silence lingered, before the Matsuo decided to break the ice.
'Nice to meet you Nikita', Riku greeted her with a polite bow. 'I'll be in your care'.
This prompted the demi-girl into action, as well as looks of expectations from her two bosses, and so the chauffeur bowed once more, and once more the male human/Scylla hybrid was greeted with the woman's breasts bouncing and swaying from the momentum of their owner's movements.
'And I look forward to working with you as well', she replied politely, offering her hand to shake. 'Young Master'.
Young Master? Riku thought in his head as he returned the woman's gesture with his own and a polite nod.
He had been used to being addressed as this back at home by the servants at the main household where his parents resided, as well as the countryside villa in which his grandparents had retired to. This time, however, it felt different, and he knew it was different this time round.
After the introductions, both man and Scylla stood upright, the demi-girl towering the newcomer, before turning away to take the luggage off her two employer's hands, shuffling her way to the back of the vehicle to load it on board. Once done, Nikita made her way back to the side in which the other people were standing, opening the door, prompting them to enter. In response to this silent request, they did so, with Riku finding himself flanked by Christella and Sylvia Andersen on each side once again. As soon as all three were seated, their chauffeur shut the door with a quiet bang, making her way to the driver's side, opening that door and planting herself in front of the wheel, clipping on her seat belt.
'We'll be setting off now', Nikita announced through the intercom, turning the key in the ignition.
The car started with no issue, and the limousine rolled out of its parking space, slowly turning out onto the main road, making sure not run over any pedestrians rushing out with their cumbersome baggage. Once finally clear of the chaos and madness from the airport entrance/exit, the vehicle picked up speed down the main roads, away from the bustling urban areas, and into the countryside, on their way to the Andersen's estates.
'News of your arrival has already been sent ahead of us Riku', Sylvia Andersen took on her role of the Family Head, looping her arms around one of his, shuffling close. 'Preparations have been made for your new lifestyle, making sure that your stay with us is comfortable as possible'.
'And as safe as possible too', Christella Andersen followed up, mimicking her Mother's actions.
'Safe as possible you say', Riku spoke fluently in their language, trying not to be bothered by this sudden attention.
One of their main concerns had been Scylla from other clans discovering his existence and wanting him for themselves. Hopefully, my new family do not 'lend' me out Riku dreaded at the thought of being a bargaining chip for any of the Andersen's future business deals with other clans. This had already happened between his own and the Andersen Family pretty much already, with him being briefed about what to expect from his new life with the Andersen's, along with any other vital information. Fortunately, the Andersen estate was out in the countryside and security had been taken seriously, especially now they had something/someone other clans would have gone to war over in the past. Not to mention that Riku's legal union with the Andersen's and transfer over their home in the Scandinavian country had been carried out with the utmost discretion, with only close family members being of knowledge and witness to this, keeping the whole affair a secret from unwanted prying eyes.
The Andersen's had spared no expense in accommodating their newest arrival. Alongside his business obligations to the Andersen's and Matsuo's, the young man was expected to follow a lifestyle of good health and fitness. Despite Riku Matsuo being a person of robustly good health and with a strong constitution, his Scylla hosts were not about to take any chances, out of fear of losing their first compatible mating candidate after years of searching that had ended up becoming dead ends.
It turned out that there were already members of the Andersen's Estate who enjoyed regular exercise and physical activities, so making modifications and adding human style exercise equipment was the easy part. The hard part followed afterwards. An entire day-to-day schedule was drawn up, re-drafted time and time again. A top rate Kobold personal trainer was recruited to assist Riku with a fitness regime that would ensure that he maintain a healthy body and mind. A nutritionist would be regularly consulted for a balanced and healthy diet for both man and Scylla, making sure that their bodies were in peak condition for the duties that were expected of them.
I feel like I am the last male of an endangered species Riku had grinded his teeth in silent anger more than once. Why do not they just find some human male they like, like the other demi-species, do the deed, and hope for the best.
This had been his argument, amongst many others, during his talks with his family, and the two Andersen's that had been with him back in Japan. Although Riku admitted that he was not doing this purely for business, and that he did have feelings for both Christella and Sylvia Andersen, he was firmly against the idea of having his life micromanaged by the minute, desiring some personal freedom in which he would just be his own man with his own life, not just as a member duty bound to the Andersen Family.
This private plight appealed to all parties, and they sympathized with him, relenting, and giving the young man guarantees that he would not be a prisoner in all but name. Too much pressure on him would sour relations between himself and the ladies anyway, possibly leading to his refusal to cooperate and even breaking off the union between himself and his new family.
Changes were made to the previously compacted agreement and schedules, becoming more liberal and less controlling, giving Riku more time for himself to enjoy life, his free time and hobbies, as well as rest and recover when needed to.
At least I can live a somewhat semi-normal life a relieved Riku had said more than once in his head. Given the circumstances.
Despite being flanked by two gorgeous demi-women in the back seat, he felt a third pair of eyes were watching. Following his intuition, his own gaze came to rest on the front, through the wall that separated the passengers from their driver's section, catching none other than their chauffeur throwing a quick glance at her three charges by the rear-view mirror, before turning her attention back onto the road. It was only for a quick moment, but Riku Matsuo could have sworn that he had seen a flicker of emotion on Nikita's blank features, and, as if in response to the female attention all around him, the Matsuo felt his Scylla blood and instincts stir for a brief time.
So, this is my life.
