at the mention of Quasar many of the dueslists turn there attention toward yusei
To say yusei way shock was understatement Shooting Quasar Dragon was yusei final and strongest monster it was the bond of his freinds the result of all the trails and struggles they went through together alongside his prized card stardust dragon when he first heard that seto kaiba lost to Shooting Quasar Dragon he couldn't believe it
But it did happend one of the enemy was capable of summoning Quasar without " limit over accel synchro " it was like though everything he knows was false
Horror, rage, sadness all sort of emotions were clashing seen there last hope about to be taking down none the last by his own cards
Except it didn't
The duelist leo brought was indeed formidable he was capable of claiming victory without even entering his battle phase, he was happy since he won't see his friends ( if you can call the best duelist that ) harming each other on the other hand he felt confused the combo that was use to fight against Quasar was able to bypass all abilities and went stray up ignoring it it like like Quasar existences didn't matter.
the second time Quasar was summoned it felt him with the sense of confusion, how did he manage to summon him? When did he developed said combo he only had minutes between his first and second duel?
Did he plan all of that in such a short time?
There was a sense of fear, fear that everything he knows was wrong, fear of his path toward the future may have been misguided ? Fear that he may not have the power to help his friends but also most of all
EXCITEMENT
The sensation that the unknown, the desire to challenge to reach the top to witness the potential he would never had dream of it open up new paths one he's looking forward to explore

A challenge against the " best duelist "
Seto kaiba was many things, the leader of kaiba corp, one of the most iconic figures in the modern time, a great brother and a jerk to some ( especailly jeoy) but if there is anything he is most prideful about is his dueling skills his skills were second to none
his first duel against the king of games yugi moto... No the pharaoh Atem was the breaking point it brought to his knees coming to the terms that there was indeed someone who can surpass him since then a lot of duels took place forcing him to adapt and improve surpassing all his limits and reaching heights never thought to be possible all for the day so he can defeat the pharaoh and claim the title king of games
Yet something odd happened in the form of figures wearing robes challenging him to a duel to claim his prized deck at first he dismiss him as another imbecile who will be done within minutes.
but fate had a surprise stored for him, his opponent was capable of strategies that he never seen and a summoning mechanique he never heard of
" i synchro summon junk warrior "
Using a summing he never heard of allowed him to destroy several powerful monsters and bypass many of his traps
" i tune junk synchro and junk warrior to summon lv 8 junk destroyer using it effect i will destroy your face down card "
but still he was no pharaoh as such he will be defeated
" i had enough of this mockery of a duel i activate polymerization i fuse my three blue eyes to summon Neo blue eyes ultimate dragon " on the field rise the ultimate monster a white dragon with three heads blue eyes with a majestic blue light
" Neo blue eyes ultimate dragon attack his junk ultimate burst " my dragon enveloppe itself in light and attack my opponent using it blue burst destroying it
" i am not done yet, by sending one blue eyes fusion monster to the graveyard i can attack again Neo blue eyes attack him directlly "
my monster manage to land an attack lowering his life point by a large chank

my dragon was preparing it self for the last attack

" i discard salvagent and level eater then i summon dubris dragon to specail summon salvagent from the GY, and since i summon a monster from the graveyard i can specail summon doppelwarrior from my hand "
" what is he planning? " ( kaiba ) a sense of awe was beginnig to rise i couldn't help but wonder thought i know it won't be enough to defeat neo blue eyes ultimate dragon but it could be entertaining
" Now i tune lv4 dubris dragon and lv2 doppelwarrior to synchro summon Red Wyvern and since doppelwarrior is sent to graveyard for a synchro summon i gain two lv1 tokens now i activate Wyvern effect since there is a monster with higher attack point to his i am allowed to destroy the monster with the highest attack point " with a large grin forming on his face he point out to neo blue eyes " and i know who to target "
" You are a fool if you think i will leave my monster defencless i activite the Quick play spell forbidden chalice i target your wyvern it increase it attack by 400 ATK but at cost of it effect " once the effect was activeted Red wyvern drunk a cup similair to the one on the spell but his effect was negated " if that the best you get than you are more of a fool than i thought " however the grin on his face still remain " Is it possible that this is not the effect he strived for? "
" you don't have to worry for i have plenty more to show off i activite level eater from my graveyard i decrease wyvern lv by one in order to summon him to the field " and insect like creature imerge from a portal start to fly around before phasing throught the wyvern this time however a yellowish star was form on it shell " now i tune lv1 token with lv1 level eater to summon formula synchro which allows me to draw a card " all of the sudden he start to laugh but this time more confident and insane
" YOU ARE DONE FOR NOW THAT ALL THE PIECES ARE ON THE FIELD I AM UNSTOPABLE " he yelled while still laughing
" now i activate salvagent to bring back junk synchro and i will synchro one last time for the might all powerful " a shock of radiate blue waves was unleashed upon the stage forcing me and even neo blue eyes to take a défensive stand
" Behold Shooting Quasar Dragon " a roar of a majestic dragon was unleashed granting those who stand with it a sense of joy and those who stand against it fear and worry but i had none of those rather i had one simple feeling
" i had my suspecions at first but now i am certain " i declare thump pointed toward my enemy " you are nothing but a fraud a fool who believe he can challange me using someone else deck "
suddenly i heard the sound of glass shatter, i turn my head only to found

oddly enough a purple crack was form as if someone invoked a tear within our reality, then a hand thrust within said tear reap it apart emittating a strong light, i was force to sheild my eyes into said light started to die for four figures to show up

" The pharaoh! " i yelled " he should be gone how did he came back? And why? "
" NO " i was awaken from my thought by the screaming of a spirit then i heard the crack sound of laugh my.a mad man i turn around to see my opponent guilty as charge

swing his finger around in a form of denail he reply " Not so fast kaiba for i equip Quasar with the equip spell united we stand when equipped my monster attack increase by 800 points for every monster on my field rise to greater highest Quasar dragon " once Quasar was equipped he was invloked in golden lighting his attak has increased by 1600! So the token is included in the effect
" Now Shooting Quasar dragon attack is Neo blue eyes "
" i activite the trap card mirror force it will destroy all your face up monsters on the field " i shock wave of energy was reflected against my opponent causing a lot of smoke to form around the stage
suddenly Quasar dragon emerge from the smoke and blasted neo blue eyes

when i wake up i found that my deck vanished along side the robed group soon i was informed of the situation needless to say it was a disaster

it was over the moment Quasar was summon i know he didn't stand a chance i couldn't see what made him unique but none of that does matter anymore once he enter the battle phase it game over.

over and over the card known as galaxy wave was used through the summon of diffrend monsters instead of monsters that support each others it was a loop to bring more more XYZ mosters to activate galaxy wave
Quasar dragon greatest power is it ability to negate a rare ability that few cards have in addition to it own immunity and ability to attack multiple times at a turn the battle phase is when Quasar is mightest very few cards can even stand a chance against it
But what if you ignore it? What if you focus on a strategie that target the duelist instead in that case Quasar is completly irrelevent even with it omni-negate ( which is shocking it even exist on a monster rather than a counter trap ) can only do so much
tck it true that this combo is the best counter against Quasar dragon and can beat any duelist the moment galaxy wave was activeted but
such petty tricks are not that of a true duelist kaiba could not approve of the title best duelist been. Wasted on him
and then the second match happend

what kaiba had witness shock him to the core for all his years of dueling never had he witness such skills and mastery of duel skills many of the cards he seen he never would have thought they could synergies with each other in no form or shape
Those cards not a single one of them match the previous deck it like he was using... No he was using a diffrend deck
but how could anyone come up with a combo that complex in such a short time? And what exactly is the style he is using every duelist have a style the only think in common between those deck is beating his opponent in the first turn
? No it can be could it a sensation of fear sink into kaiba heart
his decks are First Turn Kill Stretegy!
The best duelist was never about petty tricks nor powerful moster he was the type to win using any type of deck just like he used Quasar after aquire it the first time
He was the master of FTK
Soon a smirk marched into kaiba face he found himself a worthy opponent while the pharaoh is his oldest rival this one is the one holding the KOG title
Mark my word i will defeat the pharaoh and than defeat you and nothing will stand between be and the title of king of games
