One year ago, part one of this story finally came to an end.

It's weird, on some level, it doesn't feel like it's already been four years since this story started. At the same time, it feels like it's been a lot longer than that, like I've been working on it since elementary school or something.

In any case, part 2 will be beginning soon. I've had more than enough time to plan out how I want to handle this part and I think I'm finally ready to get started putting it all together.

All that time to plan and my goofy ass still hasn't caught up with the source material. I'mma be real here, I still haven't watched any My Hero Academia past the Gentle arc. I think witnessing peak had me so satisfied I just didn't need to see any more. Fuck Shigaraki, fuck All-For-One, it's all about the homie Gentle, peak character fr.

Nah, but for real though, I really need to catch up with the show. I'm kinda cooking myself here.

Point is, planning period's over. I have to start college again in a few days, so, as usual, it's hard to promise any kind of schedule. I will aim for "soon". That is all.

One more thing. Remember those rewrites of the early chapters I said I finished a long-ass time ago? The reason the chapters are still the same is because I deleted the rewrites. Fanfiction's all about the cringe and growing as an author, right? There'll be plenty of time to fix things up after I finish this story. Until then, there's nothing wrong with having a goofy start to look back on and think "Damn, I had no idea what the hell I was doing." Maybe I won't even replace them. I might just boot up a second story for posting the rewrites and leave the originals up on this one. I don't know, don't really need an answer right now considering I won't even start those rewrites until this story is fully finished.

... I will probably be changing the chapter titles pretty soon, though. Cringe is acceptable in small doses, but whatever the hell I was cooking when I tried to make every chapter title connect to the one after it was just not it. It was a mistake, one I'm not proud of, and I take full responsibility for that. I plead "oopsie-daisy" and move to correct the timeline.

As for the timeframe on that, we all know I'm notoriously bad at that, so instead of a guarantee, let's make an educated wish. I would like to finish this story within the next 2-3 years, about the same amount of time it took to complete part 1. That should be doable, so let's go for it.

Thank you for your patience, and I'll see you all for part 2.
