it was a dark and wintry night. The silence of snow-covered woods. The once lively space now echoed with the deafening stillness of an empty room, it's former occupants now gone, like the snowflakes outside, to their separate destinies. In the distance,
The team had split up now, each member going their separate ways in search of their own purpose. Ruby was in Atlas, training to become stronger, while Yang was at home, slowly healing from her injuries. Weiss had followed Ruby to the city of Atlas, seeking out new opportunities and allies in the city's academy. And Blake was back with the faunus settlement, working towards equality and justice for her people. As each team member went to their own destination, they each knew that they would see each other again eventually, but for now they all had to find their own way in the world.
Yang's semblance activated and made her worrying worse weeks passed with no news from her sister. She knew that Ruby had gone to Atlas to train, but not hearing from her was driving Yang crazy. She turned to her father, Tai, with a sad expression on her face.
"Dad, I'm worried sick. I miss Ruby so much. It's breaking my heart," she admitted, tears welling up in her eyes.
Tai, feeling her pain, pulled Yang into a tight hug and spoke softly. "I know it's hard, sweetie. But Ruby is strong. She'll be okay."
Yang clung to her father, feeling the weight of her worry and longing for her sister. She took comfort in his hug and his soothing words, but she knew that the only thing that would truly ease her worries would be to hear from Ruby.
"Dad, it's been weeks now," she said, her voice thick with emotion. "Every day that goes by without news from Ruby just makes me more anxious. I know she went to Atlas to train, but it feels like an eternity without hearing from her."
Month 5: Ruby remained in her self-imposed isolation in Atlas, her heart heavy with the weight of solitude. The fire crackled in the dim light, casting dancing shadows on the snow-covered ground. Crescent Rose, abandoned by her side, gleamed dully in the intermittent light, its once-sharp blade now bearing the scars and nicks of many battles.
Lost in her thoughts, the girl of silver eyes barely noticed the crunching footsteps in the snow.
The mysterious man in a black hood approached slowly, his features hidden in shadows. Ruby eyed him warily, her tone sharp.
"What do you want?"
The stranger ignored her question for a moment, stepping closer to the fire. Only when the flames danced over his face did Ruby notice his striking silver eyes, identical to her own. He held her gaze for a long moment before speaking.
"I've seen what you've been through," he said gently. "And I have something for you." He then pulled out a locked box with a Kabuto symbol on it which grabbed Ruby's attention "what is that?" she said "it'll give you power beyond what you ever dreamed of, it won't fix your dear crescent Rose but it'll give you a new weapon" the man in the black hood said.
Ruby's eyebrows furrowed in suspicion as the stranger held up the strange box with the Kabuto symbol
"What kind of power are we talking about here? And why should I trust you?"
The man in the black hood shrugged nonchalantly, as if he had all the time in the world. "It's a gift, no strings attached. As for the power it'll give you... it will make you unbeatable, like a god on the battlefield." As the man vanished into the gloom, Ruby held the enigmatic device in her hands. She examined it closely, running her fingers along its smooth surface, but there were no obvious buttons or switches to activate it.
"What am I supposed to do with this..." she muttered to herself, feeling a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. As Ruby placed the device on her waist, it began to emit a pulsing aura of light, and a form-fitting suit of armor materialized around her body. Her eyes widened in disbelief as the suit locked into place, seemingly melding with her skin like a second layer. She felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through her veins, igniting a spark of excitement that she hadn't felt in months.
"Whoa," she murmured, her voice tinged with wonder as she flexed her arms, feeling the weight and strength of the armor.
As she donned her new armor, a sense of strength and determination washed over her. She admired the Red and Black color scheme and the intricate Kabuto symbol in the center. The helmet's high-tech shield gave her a sense of both power and security.
"This armor...it's perfect," she said, her voice filled with confidence. "It's visually striking, but also incredibly practical. I feel like new again ready for any challenge that comes my way."
She then carefully placed the belt back into the box, a subtle but deliberate smile playing on her lips. The determination to confront Cinder for the heinous act inflicted upon Pyrrha burned within her, fueling her resolve to seek justice and exact revenge.
