We were silent until we arrived at Long Island.Bessie dropped us off near the shore,and as soon as we got off,I started to throw up in the nearest sandbank.Grover looked at me,"You good man?"I nodded as I wiped my mouth,"Yeah.Just a little seasick."Bessie mowed something,and Grover translated,"She said that is common."I sat down in her sands and Grover sat next to me."So,"Grover said,"You going to tell me?"I scowled at him,"Tell you what."He wrung his hands nervously,"How you and Zoè got so close."There was a hint of jealousy in his voice,and I sighed,"It is not like we have anything else to do."I motioned to the sand,"Sit down.This is a long story."I took a deep breath before starting.

"This was about six months before the beginning of this little quest of ours.I was in Croatia,hunting down a monster.It was the king of the Laestrygones,Antiphates.I was using a binoculars to scout out there camp nearby when I heard an arrow nock and get launched right at my face.I rolled out the way and pointed a gun at Zoè,who shot the arrow at me.I lowered the gun,"Why are you here?Zoè wrinkled her nose,'That is none of thee business.'I grunted as I pulled down my hood,'It kind of is.Europe is MY turf.What are the Hunters doing here?'Zoè rolled her eyes like I was the biggest idiot ever,'Thee Hunters are not here.I came alone.'

'Why?'

'Every year,there is a test.A test to prove if I am still worthy to be the lieutenant of Artemis.I must hunt down and kill a powerful monster.'

I nodded,'How about a team up?I need to kill this monster too.It makes sense for us to work together.'Zoè wrinkled her nose and looked like she was about to protest,then sighed,'That is acceptable.Do you have a place that we can stay.'I nodded and started walking to the nearby city,Gospic.'In fact,I do.And I can finally teach you proper grammar.'Zoè started walking behind me,'Was that thee joke?'I chuckled,'No.Just let me do the talking.'

When we got to the hotel,the person at the front desk smiled at us,'Hello kids!Your parents here?'I ignored the question,'We are here for a room."She frowned,but before she could say anything,I slapped down five hundred dollars in cash.She nodded,'Yes of course!Double beds,right?'I nodded,and she handed me a key card,'Room 4116.'I walked to the elevator and made sure I we were the only ones there.As soon as the door closed Zoè frowned at me.'How did you get thee money for the room.'I smiled and pulled out a wallet,'Let us just say some very rich people wouldn't be needing there money.'Zoè frowned,but was quiet until we reached our room.I flopped down on my bed and pointed to the bed next to me,'You have to use that one.'Zoè glowered at me,'This is pointless.We should be killing the monster now,not relaxing.'I glared at her,'Sorry madam,but some people need to rest.It took me the whole day to find the camp.You are free to go by yourself.'Zoè shook her head,'No.I hate to admit it,but I need thee help.'I stood up and pulled two chairs up,'Yeah you do.In grammar.Sit down.You are going to learn proper English.'So we spent the remaining time of day learning English,until it was eight a'clock.I stood up rolled my neck,'That is enough.We need to sleep.'Zoè nodded,'I agree.We need to clear out the camp tomorrow.'We went to are separate beds and passed out immediately.

I woke up at five a'clock and stood up,stretching my muscles.I removed my cloak when I was sleeping,and put it on.I gently roused Zoè,'Wake up.This is the right time to fight.'Zoè grumbled and stood up.She glanced at me,'How are we going to get there?'I smiled as I grabbed an apple to eat,'Carjacking.'

A few moments later,I stole a truck and drove as driving to the camp.Zoè was looking around,'How is it like?Fighting with one eye?'I glanced at her,'Took me a while to get used to it,but I fight pretty well now.'Zoè nodded,then suddenly pointed to the forest,'Camp!Over there!'I glanced at the seven feet high steel doors,and pulled out my gun.I shot the roof until a part of it tore off,and glanced at Zoè,'Get up there and abandon the vehicle.'Zoè looked like she wanted to protest,but she did what I said.I turned the wheel and slammed the brakes.The car turned and the side Zoè was on smashed into the fence.I stopped my self from slamming my head into the wheel,and stepped out of the car.Zoè ran up to me and gave me a strange look,'You are a mad man.What was the point of all that.'I pointed at the fence,'That fence is too tall for us to go over.The car will give us plenty of room to jump it.'Zoè nodded,and I pulled out my gun.I turned it three times to turn it into explosive rounds,and climbed onto the car.I started firing away,destroying all camps and large amounts of monsters.Zoè was picking them off,one by one,with her bow.Once there numbers were shortened,I jumped down,twirled my gun again,and went to shooting and stabbing.It turns Antiphates was killed by the explosions,and that we cleared out the camp in about five minutes.Zoè walked up behind me,'That was easy.'I nodded and pulled down my hood,'Those are the best ones.'I turned toward her and held out my hand for shaking.She shook it,and we went our own ways."

I felt dehydrated after that story,but Grover was looking at me,"You remember all of that?"I nodded,"I have an eidetic memory."Suddenly the air felt different,and I pulled up my hood and pulled out my weapons.Them Zeus himself stepped materialized.He glanced at me warily,and pointed at Bessie,"You two and the Ophiotaurus,come with me.You guys have some explaining to do."
