START OF CHAPTER 4

"Damn it, where is it?" Weiss muttered, her eyes scanning the shelves in her room, her fingers brushing over the spines of books and trinkets. She had been searching for the book her mother gave her before the fall of Beacon, but it was nowhere to be found. "I know I put it around here, but where?" She closed her eyes, trying to recall the last time she had seen it. Her memory was vague, but she was sure she had placed it among the pile of books on her desk. But it was nowhere to be found. .

Weiss let out a heavy sigh as she stumbled upon a misplaced book on the floor. "Finally," she mumbled, her voice tinged with a mix of relief and exhaustion. With the book in hand, she collapsed onto her bed, the weight of the past five months still lingering heavily on her mind. As Weiss settled into her familiar sheets, the memories of Beacon's fall flashed through her weary mind. The battle, the chaos, and the countless lives lost weighed heavily on her shoulders. Her nights have been haunted by the nightmares of that fateful day, making her sleep elusive and restless.

Jacque Schnee's brow furrowed as he meticulously pored over the spreadsheets on his desk. The figures before him didn't add up, and a nagging suspicion gnawed at his conscience. "Millions of lien misplaced," he muttered under his breath, a hint of irritation seeping into his voice. Leaning back in his chair, he pinched the bridge of his nose, his thoughts racing in search of a culprit. "Those funds were meant for the corruption of Atlas," he muttered grimly, his mind spinning with speculations of internal treachery or corporate espionage.

:

As he continued working in his office, the lights suddenly went out. He thought, "What the hell?" Then, a figure in a blue hoodie and pink pants walked up to him. "Jaques Schnee," the mystery assassin said, "you have failed Atlas. You deserve death." Jaques demanded to know who this mysterious assassin was. "Me?" the assassin replied. "Oh, I'm the person you will fear. I'm the one who will destroy your company." The assassin took out their nunchucks and put fire dust on the side and then

The assassin stabbed Jaques with the nunchucks, coated in fire dust. As he crawled on the ground, Jaques pleaded, "Why??? I have done nothing to deserve this! I am an honest business man!" the assassin didn't say anything as they just looked at him without regret "this death will

start the healing process for Atlas" she she took off her hood revealing a woman with short blue hair with faunus traits particularly a wolf faunus these types of faunus are known to be extremely strong assassins and mercenaries they do not count themselves as huntsmen or huntresses.

Weiss' heart raced as she walked towards her father's office, drawn by the commotion. Opening the door, she dropped her book, "Father! What happened?!" Panic gripped her, searching for any sign of life. The sight that unfolded froze her in her tracks—Jaques Schnee lay lifeless on the floor, his lifeless eyes staring back at her. The assassin, Sapphire Branwen, stood in the shadows, her short blue hair glistening under the dim light. Her faunus traits, particularly those of a wolf, betrayed her strength and lethality. Unrepentant, she spoke in a cold tone, "This death will start the revolution for the faunus!"

." Weiss stumbled backwards, the weight of the situation crushing her spirit. The assassin's words echoed in her mind, the gravity of the situation sinking in. "Who are you?' she whispered, her voice trembling.

"Sapphire branwen" the woman spoke in her cold tone "and I WILL kill every member of the Schnee family"

This made Weiss stumble more backwards as she started to shake her hands tears streaming down her face "i-i- I didn't know you had a problem with my family!"

Sapphire didn't say anything as her wolf ears twitched in annoyance "I do not have regrets killing your father but I will have you know I Will kill every member of your family I know I already said that but I needed you to know"

Weiss's brain was still processing the death of her father she couldn't think of the right words to say but then something hit her "wh-what can I do to not make you kill my family?"

Sapphire thought for a moment her ears twitching "dissolve the SDC company permanently remove all of its funding and transfer it to Menagerie"

Weiss's eyes widened in shock she never had someone demand this of her before "yo-you! Can't expect me to do that! Besides I don't even have access to my families wealth!" This didn't even bother sapphire as she knew Weiss was lying about not having access to her families wealth.

"Stop lying to me" sapphire demanded her tone cold with her faunus ears pinned to her head

"I- fine but you have to promise to spare my family and me" Weiss noted nervously

"I already said I'd kill you and your family well, your father is already dead so that just leaves you, your younger brother and mother, and your older sister," as sapphire spoke those words

Weiss was wanting the ground to swallow her up as she wasn't liking where this was going all she could think about was Ruby as she hadn't seen her since the fall of beacon, she wanted her girlfriend and lover. As sapphire looked at Weiss's tears down her face she made a wicked grin "on second thought, you'll be my prisoner that I can abuse and hold you for ransom" this made Weiss's eyes wide as saucers "No-no! You can't do that I have a life!"

This didn't matter to sapphire instead she put Weiss on the ground and wrapped her in bondage that she had kept in her pocket "this'll shut up" sapphire spoke in a hard tone.
