Spencer Reid, Tooth Fairy-Ch 2

The next day during lunch JJ, Emily and Penelope went to get Reid his tooth fairy costume with everything, right down to the wings and it's a good thing that they did because when they got home from work the nanny had informed them that both Henry and Michael had lost their tooth.

JJ said, "and they are gonna be sooo excited about the tooth fairy tonight, are you ready Spence?", Reid nodded his head and said, "I'm ready, I dread it but I'm ready and when I do this and Morgan has to take us all to the movies I'm gonna order the jumbo popcorn and get all of the snacks I can hold", JJ laughed and said, "I can hardly wait" as they then walked over to talk to their boys.

Sure enough both Henry and Michael were excited about losing their teeth because that meant that they were going to get money from the tooth fairy and they went into great detail when talking about said fairy to their parents.

JJ said, "well you know that the tooth fairy doesn't come till your asleep right?", Henry said, "we know momma, we know it's just, it's just we can't wait", Reid said, "I wonder how much the tooth fairy will bring you?", Henry and Michael shrugged and said, "dunno" in unison before walking off leaving their parents alone to talk.

As the rest of the evening went on the family of four enjoyed a delicious supper and then it was bath time for the 6 and 3 year old boys before watching a movie with their parents in the living room, which half way through said movie both boys fell asleep.

After being carried upstairs and tucked in JJ helped Reid get dressed up in his costume, she said, "awwwww you look so cute", he said, "cute", she said, "adorable" as she snapped a few pictures and after sending them to the team she then said, "now remember, don't talk to the boys, just get in, get the tooth out from under the pillow, put the money in the tooths place and get out of the room because you have to go into two rooms".

Reid blew out a deep breath and started to walk toward the door when his cell started beeping, letting him know that he had messages, he knew they were from the team about his costume, everybody said he was cute, even Derek and then Derek sent him another message that said, "looking good there flossy the molar magician", Reid rolled his eyes and sent Derek a return message that said, "bite me", Derek sent one final message that said, "kinky pretty boy but be careful what you wish for Halloween is coming up in a few months", Reid rolled his eyes again and smiled as he put his cell down on the table.

Reid nodded his head and blew out a deep breath as he started quietly walking up the hall toward the boys rooms, first was Henry's room, the little boy was asleep on his side that was facing away from the door, Reid inwardly smiled and thought, "thank goodness he's facing the other way", he gently grabbed the tooth and put it into the little pouch JJ had given him, he then put the money under the pillow and then turned and made his way toward the door.

What he didn't know was that Henry had turned over and caught a glimpse of the fairy as he disappeared out into the hallway, the little boy grinned and then thinking it was a dream fell back to sleep.

Next, Reid walked into the younger boys room and saw him peacefully sleeping, he once again grabbed the tooth out from under the pillow and put it into the same pouch with Henry's tooth, put the money under the pillow and turned to leave the room.

Michael, thankfully didn't wake up which Reid was sooo happy about as he made his way back down the hall toward his own bedroom, when he stepped inside JJ said, "how did it go?", he held out the pouch and said, "mission accomplished".

JJ said, "I'm so proud of you Spence", he said, "you are huh?", as he wrapped his arms around her, she nodded her head and said, "I am and as a matter of fact I am gonna give you a treat tonight". he said, "are you now?", she said, "I am" as she stripped him of his costume and pushed him down on the bed.

She spent the night showing her appreciation to her tooth fairy husband and as they laid wrapped in each others arms a little while later Reid smiled knowing that he'd made his son's nights and that his wife had made his.

That weekend Derek treated the entire family to the movies and snacks during the movie and as he leaned forward a little bit so that he could see Reids face he couldn't help but grin, he then sat back and Penelope said, "what are you smiling about?", Derek pulled out his camera and the picture of Reid in the tooth fairy's costume.

Penelope leaned in and said, "he's adorable in that isn't he?", Derek said, "yeah he's cute and since we are talking about outfits", Penelope said, "yeah, speaking of outfits, when are you gonna wear those chaps?", he said, "never sweetness" and kissed her cheek before turning his attention back to the movie.

She glanced at her husband and thought, "forever is a longggggg time my love, a very long time", as she sat there she knew that she might never see him in the flesh wearing the chaps but she could dream about the idea and who knows maybe one day she'd get him in the chaps but she was patient and she could wait, she could wait.
