Smurfblossom was looking through flowers. Smelling through them. As she took in all the smells, one caught her attention. She followed the source and saw a lone flower. Blossom was sad. "Are you here, all by yourself? I'll take you home with me. That smell, I never experienced it before".
As she walked back to the valley, she started to think of Brainy. "He's so smart. And kind… usually".
Smurflily and Smurfstorm were currently at their own business. Lily read a book while Storm practiced archery. They both did their own business when a smell got their attention. They found the source. A flower carried by Blossom.
Storm sighed. "Another flower. Don't you have enough already"?
She didn't answer. She was in her dreamlike state. "Do you girls think Brainy likes me, likes me, or just likes me"?
Both were taken aback by the unusual question. Blossom only sighed dreamily.
Lily looked to Storm who shrugged. Blossom continued to sigh. "I'm going to give him a kiss".
Lily shrugged. "Alright.
"On the lips".
Both girls' eyes widened. Storm shook her head. "I don't think he'd like that".
"Only one way to find out".
She left the 2 to discuss the predicament. "What just happened"?
Lily slowly repeated. "Blossom said she would kiss Brainy".
"She's kissed before. But mainly on the head or the cheek".
Lily smirked. "It's certainly going to be an interesting tale, later on".
"Yeah, I'm not a fan of the mushy stuff, I prefer to be kept in the dark".
They went back to their own thing, but the flower would soon affect them too.
As for Brainy, he was currently on his beloved smurfway. He was patrolling to make sure all the rules were followed. "Everything seems to be normal".
Then out of nowhere. "Hi Brainy"!
Brainy screamed and crashed into a tree. Blossom quickly went to check on him. "Brainy. Are you alright".
Brainy adjusted his glasses. "Yeah. Thanks".
She quickly hugged him. "You're welcome"!
She had him in a tight grip. "You seem happier than usual today".
"Why wouldn't I. It's a lovely day, the birds are smurfing, I'm with the love of my life".
Brainy nearly choked in shock. "The love of your what"?
"I love you Brainy. Now let's kiss".
Brainy backed away. "Blossom, have had too much sugar. Maybe you should cut back".
"Oh Brainy, don't be shy. You're not Timid Smurf. I already got our future planned out. Our home, our children. I already picked the names".
Brainy disapproved. "Now Blossom as the future father, the names should be run through me… What am I saying"! He fled while she chased after him.
Smurfs throughout the village acted differently. Some were amused, others surprised.
Jokey Smurf who had a present in his hand laughed. "They make a cute couple".
Other present Smurfs laughed.
As for Clumsy Smurf, he was currently on a walk in the forest and enjoying the scenery.
"Hey"!
He tripped, and fell face to ground. When he looked up, he was that Storm was looking down at him.
"Hey, Storm. How's it going"?
"Walk with me and I'll tell you".
He was practically dragged by her.
"What's wrong"?
"I want to make something clear. I don't want flowers, or poems. And if you give me chocolate, make sure it's not in a heart shaped box".
"What? I don't get it".
"Just because I accepted you as boyfriend, doesn't mean I'm gonna go al mushy".
"Boyfriend? Wait a minute? BOYFRIEND! ME"?
"Yes you, now let's go".
As for Chef, he was currently cooking. Lily drove her truck towards him, nearly hitting several Smurfs in the village. One of them Grouchy. "Me. I don't like being nearly run over".
"Chef. What a confidence meeting you here".
"In the village that I live at".
"Exactly. Since we're here, how about you try these waffles I made for you".
Chef noticed the waffle was in the usual heart shape, but there was syrup that said, C+L. He wondered what it stood for, who knew. "I'm grateful for the offer, but I need to make forty snacks and that's only for Greedy".
She got out an dragged him into her truck. She cut a part of the waffle. "Open wide".
Chef was about to reply, but she took the chance to feed him when he opened his mouth. Lily then used a napkin to clean his mouth.
Meanwhile, Brainy was up a tree.
Blossom called. "Brainy, come down".
He shook his head. "Not until you calm down".
"I am calm".
"Then when you stop acting crazy".
Blossom glared at him. Brainy feared what would happen next.
Then Blossom cried and ran away.
"Blossom wait"!
Brainy chased after her. When he found her, she was on her knees and refused to look at him.
Brainy got closer. "Blossom"?
She then leaped at him. "I knew you cared". Blossom then kissed him on the lips and Brainy's face went from blue to red.
As for Storm and Clumsy, her idea of romance was wrestling. Poor Clumsy had his face in contact with the ground. She had her foot on his back. "I win again".
She allowed him to get up. "I'm not much of a fighter".
She crossed her arms. "Probably for the best, I hate to lose. Now come at me".
He sighed and went for her again. He ended up tripping on his own feet. He landed at her feet and when he looked up, he accidently saw under her green dress. "Eek". He closed his eyes in embarrassment. Storm didn't seem embarrassed or angry. She smirked. "You like my underwear"?
Poor Clumsy would love Azriel the cat to show up and eat him right now.
As for Chef and Lilly, she finished feeding Chef.
"Thank you, Lilly, that was exquisite, but I need to return to my work".
Lily nodded. "Before you go, could you try my spaghetti"?
He saw no problem with that. He tasted it. It was fantastic. He ate some more. As he chewed, he minded his own business, then he felt a pair of lips.
His jaw opened in shock that the spaghetti in his mouth fell out. That was such an embarrassing mistake. Yet Lilly didn't seem bothered, she looked happy.
Did Lily really trick him with the spaghetti kiss?
"I really must return to work.
He slowly went opened the door and left. She sighed happily.
Meanwhile, Smurfette was practicing her smurf fu when an odd smell caught her. She tracked the source and quickly found an odd-looking flower. "I never saw a flower like this before. Perhaps Papa Smurf knows what it is".
She went to her lab with the flower. As she did, she thought of Hefty.
Papa Smurf was working on an experiment when Smurfette came in.
Smurfette? Is everything alright"?
She nodded. "Does this look familiar to you"?
She pointed at the flower. "It looks rare, but also familiar".
Hefty then came into the lab. "Papa Smurf, the girls are losing their minds. Blossom is chasing Brainy, Lilly nearly smurfed over us to get to Chef and Storm won't let Clumsy out of her sight".
"Really. Wait a minute". He looked at the flower and realized what it was. "This is the affection flower".
Smurfette was confused. "Affection flower"?
"It was a flower that makes females more affectionate. In the past, humans would use this to save creatures that were dying out. They used to be common, but now it's rare to find one".
Smurfette was confused. "Why did it make Blossom like Brainy specifically? And why Lilly to Chef and Storm to Clumsy? And why does it only effect girls"?
"Truth is the girls probably liked them already and the flower just made them more willing to act on it. As for the last question, i can't answer".
Hefty nodded. "Can it be reversed"?
"Yes, I will make the formula. Try to make sure they don't lose their minds".
Hefty nodded. "We got this, right Smurfette. Smurfette"?
She went and felt his arms. "You're so strong, but I bet you're no match for me. If you beat me, I might just let you hold me in those arms".
Hefty smiled. Then he realized. The flower. As much as he liked her, it didn't feel right to take advantage when it was the flower doing this.
As for the other 'love Smurfs'.
Brainy escaped Blossom and was currently on the run.
"Brainy"!
He found a log and hid inside. "Blossom lost her mind".
"I know how you feel".
Brainy was surprised to see Chef off all Smurfs in a log. "Why are you here"?
"I'm hiding from Lily".
"Lily? Did you try and sabotage her business again"?
"Maybe this is her revenge"?
"What"?
"She's acting like she has feelings for me".
"You too"?
Chef nodded.
"Both Blossom and Lily? What's going on"?
Suddenly, they heard someone else. Both freaked out, thinking it was their admirer. But calmed down when they realized it was Clumsy.
"You two will think I've gone Smurf. But Storm is attracted to me".
Brainy nodded. "We believe you, we got similar problems".
Chef noticed something. A sandy pair of sandy shoes. "Did you take those from Storm"?
"She would have caught me with my contend tripping".
Brainy was confused. "That doesn't explain why you took her shoes".
"Would you chase someone through pebbles, barefoot".
Brainy nodded. "Smart".
As for Blossom, she continued to call for Brainy. Then she heard Lily's voice.
"Chef"!
Lilly saw it was her. "Hi, Blossom. You didn't by chance see Chef"?
Blossom looked confused. "No, why"?
Lily sighed happily. "He's my special Smurf".
Blossom gasped. Then jumped up and down. "You and Chef together. I love it. Can I be the smurf's maid"?
"I'll think about it. How are things with Brainy"?
"We're playing hide and seek. I can't find him".
Hey, Blossom, Lily? Do you know where Clumsy is"?
Both shook their heads. Then they noticed something. It was Lily who asked. "What happened to your shoes".
"Clumsy took them. It made it harder to run after him without hurting my feet. I'm actually impressed he thought of that".
Blossom asked. "Why were you chasing Clumsy"?
"I just was okay".
Lily then realized. "You have a crush on him".
Blossom squealed in excitement".
Storm glared. "Shut up"!
Lill smirked. "I never thought of him as your type".
"I choose who my type is"!
As for the guys. They refused to leave the log.
"There you are".
They screamed in horror, only to realize it was simply Jokey".
Brainy glared. "Out of all the jokes you played, that was the cruellest".
"Wow. I did that without trying. I impress myself. But Papa Smurf knows what the problem with the girls is and he knows what to do".
That caught the boys' attention. They went with Jokey back to the village.
Papa Smurf, Hefty and Smurfette were in the lad.
Brainy seemed glad. "Papa Smurf. Of course, why didn't I come to you at the start"?
Papa explained. "It was the pollen from the flower called the Affection Flower that caused this. I got the antidote right here".
Clumsy was nervous. "Does it work".
Hefty nodded. "It worked on Smurfette. It will work on them too".
Chef was concerned. "So, what's with the delay".
"I'll need someone to distract the girls".
Clumsy gulped. "That's us isn't it".
Papa nodded.
They gulped. They called for the girls.
"Blossom".
"Lily"?
"Storm".
The girls saw their current crushes in front of them.
"Brainy".
"Chef".
"Clumsy".
Brainy coughed, but didn't say a word.
Chef did talk. "Here we are out of the frying pan".
Clumsy nodded. "Catch us if you can".
The boys fled.
Blossom was excited. "Tag"!
Lilly smirked. "Boys sure love to play hard to get".
Storm chuckled. "He escaped once, but I'm not one to let someone away twice".
Papa watched the 3 live bait run into the village and the girls were catching up.
The girls tackled them and they were each caught. Papa used the spell on the girls and it knocked them back to their senesces.
Blossom came back to normal first. "Sorry". She let Brainy go.
Then Lily. She looked embarrassed and released Chef.
Then Storm. She threw Clumsy back. "Yuck".
Smurfette decided to be direct. "Do you girls remember all that happened"?
Both Blossom and Chef nodded. Storm huffed. "Unfortunately, yes".
Blossom looked at Brainy. "I guess I acted a little crazy, I'm sorry".
Brainy smiled. "It wasn't your fault; it was the flower".
Lily sighed. "I too am sorry for the way behaved".
Chef waved it off. "No harm done".
Storm glared at Clumsy. If you ever tell anyone about this, I'll make you regret it"! Blossom and Lilly gave her disapproving looks. "And I'm sorry. Also, can I have my shoes back"?
Clumsy nodded.
Blossom however was curious. "Brainy, was that your first kiss? How did you find it"?
Everybody was taken aback. Brainy didn't know how to respond. "I don't know"?
Blossom looked hurt by the answer.
"I'm not saying you're a terrible kisser. It was alright, great even. Not great I mean. I'm not saying you're average, you're way better than that. It was simply a shock at the time but I wouldn't be against doing it again. I mean, uh. Where's Gargamel when you need him".
Blossom giggled. "You're more that average too and not terrible too. I I'd be happy to do it again someday".
Brainy chuckled. "Thanks".
Lily and Chef looked at each other. Lilly wasn't going to say a word, but since Blossom asked. "You didn't hate it did you"?
Chef coughed. "No. I'll admit I was surprised but if it was with someone, I'm glad it was you".
Lily felt her heart warm at that.
Chef snickered. I can't believe you tricked me with the spaghetti kiss".
Lily laughed. "Yeah. I can't believe it worked".
The rest turned to Storm who finished putting her shoes back on. "I didn't do any of that stuff".
The others laughed, including Clumsy.
"What"?
Lilly explained. "You never were one for affection. I'm surprised it you were affected to be honest".
Blossom agreed. "You're great at many things but kissing is not one of the things".
Storm took this as a challenge. "Oh yeah". Without warning, she grabbed Clumsy and kissed him on the lips. Every jaw dropped, even Clumsy who was in the middle of the kiss, widened his eyes.
When she finished. She saw all eyes on her. Unable to think of a word, she ran off.
Clumsy watched her go. He sighed dreamily. "That was actually very nice".
