DISCLAIMER: I CLAIM OWNERSHIP OVER NOTHING EXCEPT THE GENERAL PLOT AND MY ORIGINAL CHARACTERS!
A/N: Hello There! I wanted to start by stating how this story was initially present on the Pixie Hollow Rewrite, FairyABC. It had served as an entry in the special storytelling contest, "Tinker Academy Story Contest". Like all the other entries, it can still be viewed in the Books Nook section of the Hollow (the game). Unfortunately, the staff there made false accusations against me and threw me out, so I am placing the story here for all to enjoy.
Please note that this story is very simplistic in nature. At an upcoming date, I would like to expand upon it in a much more proper format.
For now, please enjoy it! Do not forget to Review, too!
TINKER BELL AND THE TINKER'S ACADEMY
Tinker Bell flies over the Never Sea. She had departed from Tinker's Nook less than an hour ago. Rosetta, Silvermist, Iridessa, Fawn, Bobble, Clank, Fairy Mary, and Cheese had all been there to see her off. Even Vidia had come by, only to tell her how excited she was to see her leave; Rosetta had scowled at her for it. Terence had stopped by and given her more than enough pixie dust for her flight. After some goodbyes, and a hug from Fairy Mary, she had then flown away. As she passed the Winter Woods, Tinker Bell had waved to her sister, Periwinkle, who waved back.
Tinker Bell is excited. She is going to the Tinker's Academy, a special school for Tinker-Talent fairies and sparrow men. If she is truly as rare of a talent as everyone says, she would get the chance to show it.
She comes across the small islet. Tinker Bell zooms over, a laugh ringing out of her mouth as she flies. Her Tinker's hammer slips off her belt and falls to the ground below. Tinker Bell gasps and soars after it. She flies into view of the school. Fairies and sparrow men are walking all around; some are gathered into small groups, chatting away. Tinker Bell comes in for a landing. She looks around for any sign of her hammer. A voice calls out to her, to which Tinker Bell spins around. Standing before her is Professor Quibble-De-Quip, a tall sparrow man with rather messy hair and goggles on his forehead. He holds up the hammer. Tinker Bell gasps and nods. Professor Quip hands it to her. Tinker Bell introduces herself. The instructor gives her a nod and informs her not to be late. He flies off to the school's entrance and goes inside. Tinker Bell sighs; she is sure she had gotten off on the wrong wing.
"Hey, don't take it so hard," A dark-haired sparrow man flies up. "Professor Quibble-De-Quip might seem a little harsh at times, but he means well."
Tinker Bell thanks the sparrow man and introduces herself. "Call me Lock," the sparrow man says. He offers to show her around; Tinker Bell agrees. After seeing the academy's pixie dust well, lunchroom, clinic, and where the classrooms are located, Lock takes Tinker Bell to the assembly room to pick up her schedule. Sure enough, Professor Quibble-De-Quip's class is on it. Tinker Bell feels a little nervous, but Lock informs her he is convinced she can succeed.
Tinker Bell goes to class, Professor Quip does not seem very impressed by her, so Tinker Bell decides to go the extra mile and make something for him. She heads to her dorm room and finds her dorm mate is there. The green-haired fairy is struggling on her assigned project, so Tinker Bell helps her. "Thanks," the fairy says. "You got me out of a jam. I'm May."
Tinker Bell and May talk for a bit. Tinker Bell then heads to her desk and starts to make a plan for how to impress Professor Quip. May offers to help, to which Tinker Bell tells her she needs to do this on her own. "You won't impress anyone on your own," May tells her. "Professor Quip is one of the strictest instructors on the campus."
Tinker Bell pauses in thought. She has an idea and starts drawing it out. May adds in some input, which Tinker Bell accepts. By dusk, they are building what the plan says. They take it outside to the courtyard, where Lock (who is passing by) lends a hand.
The next day, Tinker Bell heads to Professor Quip's class. The instructor is surprised by the gadget when Tinker Bell presents it (with May and Lock's help). Professor Quip likes the device and tells Tinker Bell, "Queen Clarion told me you were someone special. That's why I was hard on you. I wanted you to bring out your personal best, and you succeeded."
Tinker Bell informs him how she did not make the invention on her own; both May and Lock had helped. "We all did it," she tells him.
"A group effort," Professor Quip acknowledges. "Most students come here to show they can do work on their own. But the purpose of this academy to prove you can work as a group. Only the truest rare talents can achieve this goal."
Tinker Bell thanks him, along with May and Lock. Professor Quip informs them it is nearly time for class, so the three take their seats. As class starts, Tinker Bell smiles, knowing this won't be as hard as she had thought, and her excitement returns.
She wonders what else the Tinker's Academy has in store.
"Miss Bell, please pay attention," Professor Quip says.
Tinker Bell snaps back to attention. "Oh! Sorry!"
A/N: That is all for now! Yes, I realize it is short, yet there isn't more at this time.
I would also like to remind everyone how the next chapter for "Kingdom Hearts - Season of Light" is still a work-in-progress. This is primarily due to life pulling me away from fan-made storytelling now that I have graduated from my university. I STILL intend to finish it along with the next two stories. It shall be a while before I can return to it, so please enjoy what is there now. Feel free to make predictions in your reviews if you'd like. It would be interesting to see how everybody else thinks the tale shall conclude.
Please stay posted for future updates down the road.
So Then, I'll See You Next Time!
