Audrey stood in front of the desk of the first hotel they had been able to find, supporting Seymour, the man who would soon be her husband, as he leaned against her slightly in exhaustion and hopefully not too much pain. "Are there any rooms left?" The hotel receptionist looked through her ledger after a delay of continuing to look at them, but mostly him, incredulously. She had to admit, they did look pretty beaten up after the shop collapse and their dealings with Audrey 2… at least for now, but she didn't really care right now over her joy at their safety and shared future together, that would be starting as soon as tomorrow morning rather than continuing to be something she only dreamed about to keep herself going without really believing in it. "...Uh, yeah, looks like we have one left. The honeymoon suite." Audrey nodded, relieved and delighted by this serendipitous coincidence. "Sounds perfect! Thank you." She moved to pay her, but Seymour had the money on the counter before she could even in spite of his weakened condition. He seemed… tense, still, even though his battle with the plant was over and their shared future was settled, and she vowed to remove that tension once they were alone in their hotel room.

After the receptionist had gotten the money sorted out, she led them to their room, and Audrey closed the door behind them and turned off the lights before gently but firmly guiding Seymour to sit down at the edge of one of the beds with her, reassuringly taking his hand in hers and running her thumb in circles along his palm. "Seymour, what's wrong?" He met her gaze briefly, surprised, before sinking even further into himself and looking at the floor. "...I… uh… I haven't told you everything about Audrey 2… and my involvement with it…" Ohhhh, that was what this was about… Audrey had suspected that he had been involved in the disappearances of Orin and Mr. Mushnik, with their sudden absences and his increasing anxiety coinciding so perfectly together, and now it was all coming together for her. She moved closer to him on the bed, pressing up against his side to try to make this easier for him. "What is it? You can tell me anything, Seymour." He stared out straight ahead of him for a long moment, gathering his courage before answering her but not meeting her gaze. "...I-I fed Orin and Mr. Mushnik to it, Orin because I couldn't keep letting him treating you like that and Mr. Mushnik because he found out and wanted to send me away from here, away from you, to get access to it… I'm so, so sorry, Audrey…"

Her heart breaking for him and at the distress in his voice, Audrey gently lifted his chin to meet his now shocked gaze before cupping his face in her hands. "Seymour, it's okay. I understand." He stared back at her for a long moment, eventually attempting to blink away a tear. "Really?" Audrey nodded, wiping away the tear with her thumb. "Of course." Seymour moved in closer to her, resting a hand over one of hers. "You mean, you still wanna get married tomorrow?" Audrey moved her hand so that she was holding his before slowly moving to lie down on the bed, getting him to join her. "Like I've always dreamed of." She wrapped her arms around him, Seymour, the man who would somehow, miraculously be her husband tomorrow, and he did the same for her after a pause, drawing her closer with noticeably, satisfyingly less tension than before. "I'll get you everything you've ever dreamed of, Audrey, I promise." Even with the sheer conviction in his voice, it was clear that his exhaustion was catching up to him, and Audrey kissed his neck before stroking his chest, hoping to help him get a restful sleep after everything that had happened, that they had faced. "I know you will."
