It was a sunny day in Vale people are shopping, children are playing but an eight year old boy name Habib Scarlatina is laying on the floor with cut and burn marks. The door of his so called room opened and saw his dad, mom, and his older sister.
Dan: Get up you piece of shit!
Anna kicks Habib.
Anna: Listen to what your father says you waste of space!
Habib: What do you three want now?
Dan punched Habib.
Dan: Don't talk to your mother like that. Now you are going to do what your sister says while your mother and I are out got it.
Habib doesn't say anything.
Dan: I SAID GOT IT!!
Habib: (Quietly) Got it.
Dan and Anna left. Leaving Habib and Velvet alone.
Velvet: I'm going to watch tv you go make me a sandwich and don't mess up!
Habib nods his head. Velvet went to the living room and watch tv while Habib went to the kitchen to make a sandwich for Velvet. After a few minutes he finished making the sandwich and went to give it to Velvet.
Habib: (Quietly) H-Here.
Velvet took a bit of the sandwich then throw it away.
Velvet: That was horrible go clean it up!
Velvet kicks Habib. While Habib is cleaning the mess, Velvet is yelling at him.
Velvet: You are so useless!
A few weeks later
Velvet is hitting Habib while their parents are on a mission. The front door opened.
Anna: Velvet we're home where are you sweetheart?
Velvet: I'm hitting the freak at his room.
Dan: Good job Velvet keep up the good work!
Dan goes to Habib's room with his weapon. Once he arrived he saw Velvet punching and kicking Habib.
Dan: Velvet!
Velvet stops beating up her brother and looks at her dad.
Velvet: Yes dad?
Dan: Use my weapon.
Velvet: Okay dad.
Velvet grabbed her dad's weapon and starts hitting Habib with it. Velvet slashed him with her dad's weapon leaving scars on his face. Velvet and Dan left.
A few hours later
It was night and everyone except for Habib are asleep.
Habib: (Quietly) I can't take it anymore I'm leaving.
He sneaks out of the house and left. The next day Anna knocked on Habib's room.
Anna: Get Up! Get your useless ass up and go make breakfast.
Anna knocks harder.
Anna: Get up!
She opens the door and went inside. Anna didn't see Habib anywhere. She looked everywhere and didn't see him. Tears start running down Anna's eyes. She went downstairs and saw Dan and Velvet.
Dan: Honey where is the brat?
Anna: (Crying) He's gone I can't find him anywhere.
Velvet: (Crying) Brother.
Seven years later
Fifth teen year old Habib is walking around Vale until he sees someone. Habib stole the man's wallet.
Man: Someone help thief!
A police officer hear the man and starts chasing Habib.
Police Officer: Hey stop where you are!
Habib ran until he was trapped by a wall. The police officer caught up the him.
Police Officer: Freeze put your hands where I can see them!
Habib looks at the police officer then at the wall. He jumped the up the wall and got away. Once Habib escaped a man approached him.
???: That was impressive.
Habib looks at the man.
Habib: Who are you?
P.T. Barnum: My name is P. T. Barnum and I want you to join me for something that where people will like you. A place where there are people like you. You can have a better life. So will you join?
Habib: You want me to join for people could laugh at me?
P.T. Barnum: People won't laugh they will see what I see in front of me.
Habib: And what do you see? A freak!
P.T. Barnum: I see a rabbit Faunus that can jump a 50ft tall wall.
Habib: That's not the highest that I could jump.
P.T. Barnum: Really What is the tallest?
Habib: I can jump a 100 feet.
P.T. Barnum: (Shocked) A 100 feet!
Habib: Yes and with my scars you still don't see a freak?
P.T. Barnum: I still don't see a freak. I see someone with a rough past and a unique ability.
Habib: 'If it is a better life then the one I have now I'll finally be happy' Okay I'll join.
P.T. Barnum: Great, come on uh what's your name?
Habib: My name is Habib.
P.T. Barnum: Well come on Habib.
Habib and P.T. Barnum left the alley way. Habib is excited for his new life.
With Velvet
Velvet is currently in Beacon Academy getting ready to start her second year. Velvet is finishing unpacking when her team leader/best friend, Coco walked to her.
Coco: Velvet are you finished packing?
Velvet: Yes Coco I finished.
Coco: Great let's go eat breakfast.
Coco and Velvet left their dorm and headed to the cafeteria to eat breakfast.
Velvet: 'Where are you little brother? I miss you and I'm sorry for everything I did.'
Coco noticed that Velvet is upset about something.
Coco: Velvet are you okay?
Velvet snapped out of her thought.
Velvet: I'm okay Coco.
Coco: Are you sure Velvet? You seem more depressed than usual.
Velvet: I'm fine Coco.
Coco: Are you sure Velvet? You are my best friend. If something is wrong you can talk to me.
Velvet: I know Coco but I'm fine.
Coco: Okay Velvet.
Coco and Velvet continue walking to the cafeteria.
