As usual I got to school early. I decided to just sit at my school desk until class started since I got a lot of thinking to do about the club.

I was caught up in my thoughts until a voice besides me made me flinch.

"Hey!" I looked to my right and found the girl from yesterday looking at me from her desk. What was her name? Hm…

"Emi, right?" I asked her hoping that I remembered her name correctly.

"Correct, anyways. How's the club stuff going?" She asked while playing with her hair.

"Oh, pretty good, we are looking for members… Um… If you are interested"

"Hm… Sorry I ain't into that stuff" She shrugged while rejecting the idea.

The bell rang and class started so me and Emi stopped talking.

I began stretching while the bell for the lunch break rang in the background. I took my bags, said goodbye to Emi and ran towards the exit, accidentally bumping with another student wearing glasses.

"Oh! I'm so sorry I'm just in a bit of a hurry" I said, giving a quick bow .

"I-I'ts okay, really, don't worry about it" The girl said very apologetically.

After that interaction I entered the classroom right besides mine to get Rei.

I opened the door to the clubroom while Rei yawned behind me since she was sleeping through class. We entered the room and immediately noticed something off.

There was a wardrobe in between the couch and blackboard.

"Huh, did… Did like, the theater club live their stuff here?" I asked clueless to the origins of the wardrobe

"Maybe… They have a ton of costumes! Uh… Hm… Some of them are… Interesting '' Rei said while she took out a weird long black dress half of it was striped with white lines almost looking like a piano.

"We should just go and give them their things back" I said while grabbing one of the ends of the wardrobe.

As me and Rei started to move the piece of furniture, the clubroom door opened and Yamanaka-sensei entered carrying some boxes.

"Oh, what are you two doing?" She asked, tilting her head.

"The theater club seems to have left this here… For some reason" I said while moving the wardrobe to the exit.

"What? That's mine" Sensei said.

"W-What… Yours?" I looked dumbfounded at sensei.

"Yeah, I brought them here for the club advertisement plan" She said while setting the boxes on the couch.

"How would this ever help us get new members?" Rei asked with an annoyed look on her face.

"You'll see" Sensei opened the boxes taking some cartoony looking animal costume heads. She then went to the wardrobe looking for a bit until she took out some weird costumes, the kind you would see at a little kid's birthday party.

"These will get you some nice attention when giving out fliers" Yamanaka-sensei started to pick out some of the costumes to see which ones we would use.

"No. Nope. Nah. I'm not doing this, sorry Yumi, I think I'll go home early toda-" Rei was saying while walking towards the exit, until Sensei grabbed by the collar of her uniform.

With one quick scream Rei was pulled by Sensei to the back of the room to a corner where I couldn't see them. Just a few seconds later, Rei walked out cussing in a low voice wearing one of the costumes, the horse one.

"Now Dojima-san… Which one do you like?" Sensei said to me, smiling warmingly while holding some of the costumes.

"Uh… T-The… The cat one… I guess" I said, grabbing the head of the costume I choose from the couch.

The lunch break was almost over… Me and Rei ended up spending most of our time giving out fliers in the courtyard. Some students looked at us weird, some were scared of us, some took the fliers, out pity I think…

"Do you have any other plans? Sensei's kinda… Suck" Rei asked me, looking at me, although her face was hidden by her costume

"Maybe… Hm… We could do something online? Like, opening an account on social media or something" I said trying to think of anything.

"But like… We don't have anything to post, we aren't even an official club yet. Rei said, trying to wipe some sweat from her forehead but the head of her costume couldn't come off.

"Well… Augh… I can't think right now, this costume is waaaaay too hot, especially with the sun as strong as it is today…" I felt like I could have fainted at any moment with the heat of that day.

"I think the lunch break is about to end… Let's go take these off" Rei said while she started to walk towards the main school building.

"Yeah, let's go" I said while following her. On the way back to the school a girl stopped me and asked for a flier, she actually seemed kind of interested in the club and not just asking out of pity… Hm, she looked familiar.

When we got to the entrance I just couldn't stand the heat anymore so I took a seat in the benches beside the lockers.

"Sorry Rei, I'll take the head of this thing off, alright?" I said to her.

"Sure, I'll go to the clubroom and then to class, so see ya after school!" She said waving.

I started to take off the head of that stupid suit, thankfully it came off in a moment and I felt a slight breeze hit my face. I wiped the sweat off my face, relieved that I didn't have to wear this thing anymore. I was relaxed until a voice came from my left.

"What on earth are you wearing?" The voice asked with a slightly surprised tone.

I looked towards the source of the voice, to find.

"Oh, Mr. Hidetoshi… This uh… Was a plan by our club's advisor" I said to him.

"Just like the old clubs huh?" He said scratching the back of his head.

"They also did this stuff?" I asked him.

"Yeah, does it actually work?"

"I'm not sure, most people brushed us off, others took the fliers out of pity" I sighed at the results of the recruitment effort.

"Hm… Give me some of those fliers, I'll try to help a bit, okay?"

"R-Really?"

"Yeah, I can put them at my post in the entrance, and give some out when go on patrols"

"Thanks a lot!" I said while handing him out the leftover fliers.

"Now, you should go and take that costume off and go to class, the bell is about to ring" Hidetoshi said while he went back to his post in the entrance.

Class had ended. I was in the clubroom with Rei and Yamanaka-sensei. We were trying to figure out another way to find members for the club, but nothing really came to mind.

"Was it this hard finding members for the other clubs?" I asked while sipping on a cup of tea.

"Yup, it has always been hard" Sensei said, resting her chin on her hand.

"This sucks" Rei said, resting her face on the table.

We silently sipped our cups of tea, as time passed. A feeling of frustration filled me as I just stay seated here. Until someone knocked at the door.

"Hm? Uh, come in!" I said looking at the door.

The door opened, and… Emi walked in? She had a weird look on her face, she was clearly embarrassed but she was trying her hardest to hide it.

"Um… You g-girls are looking for new members right?" She said while blocking most of her face with her hair.

"Uh, yeah, we are" I said, expecting her answer.

"W-Well… I don't actually know how to play guitar but… I am interested in learning… I guess"

"So… Are you… Applying to enter?" I said, the frustration starting to disappear.

"Y-Yeah… So? I'm in?"

I looked at Rei, just like me, she had a massive smile on her face. We looked back at Emi and I said to her:

"Of course, come on, sit here with us!"

"R-Really? Just like that?" She said, the embarrassment gone from her face being replaced with surprise.

She came to sit with us, and Rei gave her a cup of tea.

"Tea?" She said looking at the cup in front of her.

I nodded as my response. Then looked at Rei.

"Welcome to the light music club!" We both said, to our new member.

Emi looked surprised, but then, she smiled, and began laughing a bit.

"I guess, this will be a fun thing to put my time in huh?" Emi said, smiling at us.

"Yup, but first of all you'll need a guitar first" I said.

"Yeah, don't worry I have it covered" Emi said.

"Nice!" I said, keeping my smile.

We got our first new member!

We may have needed to spend about an hour in the sun with those costumes, but at the end we actually got a member for the club! We just need one more member and we are done!

We have two guitarists and a bassist… Hm… I think… The thing we are missing… Is a drummer.
