AN: Sorry for not posting sooner. I haven't been well and had a bad fall where i ended up in hospital over night for observation's. When i went down i went down on my left side and my head hit the wall as i was falling. My left arm and leg are swollen and the bruising is slowing coming out since it was internal brucing. Plus suffering headaches as well which dosn't help. Still in a lot of pain and will be for at least another week. The doctor took xrays to make sure there was no fractures, which i was lucky there was none.

Month later Hammersley return back from it six week patrol. The crew was looking ford to having the next few days off. Kate and Bull went to see Maxine about there patrol and the capture of the FFV that shot at Kingston.
When finish and they walk out of Maxine office. Maxine saw Kate smile when Mike walk up to her and gave her a kiss. "Hey you look tired"
"I am had had a may day call last night it took five hours to located it once it was sorted out it was almost four in the morning when I finally got to bed then Flipper woke me up when she was being sick three hours later"
"Why don't you go home to bed and get few hours sleep"
"sounds good, I notice Knocker doesn't look happy still"
"Don't worry about her"
"ok, see you later"
"Sure, pub tonight"
"sure" they kiss once more
"See you in few hours then" Kate said
"Ok, drive carefully"
"I will"
Kate walk towards the exit while mike walk into Maxine office with a smile on his face. He pass her a file then turn around and walk back out of it again.
later that afternoon Mike walk in to there bedroom to see Kate sleeping so he went and remove his uniform and hung it up then he remove the rest of his clothing before getting into bed and snuggling up to Kate and give her a kiss which made her smile as she open her eyes
"Mike what time is it?"
"After four"
"Why aren't you at work"
"i told Maxine that I'm leaving early so I could spend time with you"
"Mike Hammersley in port for a week"
"I know and I've been working longer hours so why can't I leave early"
"What do you mean longer hours"
"Five six in the morning, some night didn't get home till after eleven"
"Kids"
"Nikki have them at her place for the night. I give her some money to get pizza or some thing for dinner"
"Ok, so what time should we go and pick up our kids"
"six and take them to the pub for dinner and drinks with the crew"
"Two hours"
"Yes so I'm spending it with you" he lean over and kiss her
"What have you got in mind Mike Flynn" Mike move till he was lying on top of Kate.
"Make love to you" Kate smile as she put her hands through his hair
"Is that so"
"Yes" he bends down and kiss her.
They spent the next two hours make slow passionate love that they both miss as well having a shower before leaving to go and pick the kids up from Heidi place. Kids were happy to see Kate. They all talk at once when they got into the wagon which made Mike grin
"Ok, woo kids, one at a time" Kate said
"We miss you mum" Grace said
"I miss you kids to"
They took turns in telling Kate what they been doing while mike drive them to the pub. When they arrived at the pub they all got out and walk up stairs to where the crew is. They welcome Mike with hand shakes and giving kids a hug before Mike and Kate went in side to order dinner and drinks while kids talk to the crew.
They crew had a great evening talking and laughing for couple of hours before Families with young kids left for home leaving the others to enjoy them selves.
Early the next morning Kate cell phone rings so she rolled over and pick it up and open it
"Kate" Mike said half asleep.
"Kate McGregor, Hello... yes sir... I under stand... I'll be there sir... yes sir" then she hung up.
"Kate" She turn the wall light on since it was set on low just in case Kate or mike get called in, in the middle of the night.
"That was Bull, we been crash sailed"
"Not again" Mike said as he turn his light on
"I know, Childers returning with engine problems and Kingston still in dry dock, we taking over Childers patrol"
"Yes I know, so much for shore leave"
"Yeah" she lean over and kiss him before getting out of bed and walking towards the bathroom.
Two hours later Hammersley left port, it was just after six in the morning. The crew wasn't happy that they were pulled out of bed in the middle of the night but they under stood when Bull explain over the PA system what happen, so they under stood.
The crew knew that when they return from there shore leave that they got two month patrol then two week shore leave, but now they didn't even get twenty four hours before they received crash sail messages. Plus it would be the last patrol for Swain since Sally would be due to give birth to there second child.
when the crew leave for there patrol and they know that Flipper not on board since she got a shore posting and doesn't know that Hammersley crash sailed.
Over the next two and half months the crew were busy with May day calls, FFV and training. They did stop off a port north of Australia where they could refuel, restock and have a night shore leave so they could relax for a night. Buffer and Kate keep in contact with Mike and Nikki during that time.
When Kate walk open the door to where the computers are keep she heard buffer groan "Are you ok buffer" he jump as he turn around
"Yeah" Kate close the door then walk over and sat down
"Why where you groaning then"
"Nikki, she sent me an e-mail, she just telling me about what she want to do to me when we return back to Cairns"
"Oh how bad" Buffer turn to Kate
"lime green silk" Kate giggle
"Torturer"
"You have no idea X"
"I'm sure you can handle it buffer"
"Gee thanks" Kate turn do check her mail while buffer return back to read more of what Nikki written to him about the family, then he laugh
"X you not going to believe what happen couple days ago"
"No what" He turn to her
"Flipper puke all over Commander white uniform"
"your joking" Kate said in shock then smile
"Nope" he turn and scroll down
"X" Kate move her chair closer to buffer, it showed Mac and Maxine standing up in Maxine office.
Maxine look mad and Mac cover her mouth, then it show next photo of Mac puking over Maxine uniform, which Maxine look shock and couple of the staff looking into Maxine office. Then it show Mac running out of Maxine office with her hand over her mouth. They could see the baby bump since she five months pregnant. And Maxine looking down at her uniform. Then it showed Maxine walking out of her office with puke over her top, pants and shoes. She was angry.
"She sure doesn't look happy" Kate said
"no she doesn't. Nikki said she went and told mike, he went to check on Mac since it happen in the morning and it was the first time flipper had morning sickness in over two weeks"
"Perhaps it was some thing she ate for breakfast?"
"Don't know X but from what Nikki got here, it made the staff there morning that some one got her back after what happen since she been there"
"Sounds like it alright" Pete read more
"Here" he pointed to one part of Nikki message
"Nikki said that Bendigo called they returning back to Cairn, half of the crew got the flu. Nikki took the call, she said she told the captain that knocker couldn't come to the phone, she had to go and and change her uniform after Flipper puke over it. The captain laugh and told her that he need a good laugh and told her to tell flipper nice shot" Pete said he read what Nikki said.
"sounds like it alright"
"Nikki told mike when he return and he said at least they not puking over each other" Kate laugh.
"Trust mike to say some thing like that"
"True" Buffer said.
Then he read more about what else been happening then he burst out laughing since Kate was checking her e-mails from family. "buffer"
"commander white and Mike went to to the wharf the next morning when Bendigo dock. Mike said he could see how sick the crew is and... the XO puke over commander white clean uniform since he was sick" Kate laugh.
"Sounds like knocker having a bad couple of days"
"Yeah" Buffer finish reading Nikki e-mail and reply back to her before checking other e-mails.
When Kate and Pete walk up and onto the bridge they were laughing. "Every thing ok Buffer, X" Charge asked
"Yes charge"
"sir permission for buffer to use the PA system"
"May I ask why"
"X" Buffer said.
She turn to him "Crew need cheering up"
"your right... sir I received an e-mail from Nikki, and...well sir it a funny" Bull turn to Pete
"I hope it not dirty" Kate laugh
"sorry sir, well not what you think sir" Kate said
"Ok" Buffer step ford and pick up the microphone and turn the PA system on.
He share with the crew some of the messages he received from Nikki. He told them about what flipper and the XO on Bendigo did which cause every one to laugh. When he finish telling every one he put the micro phone back in it spot.
"Great going Flipper" ET said.
"X what did commander Flynn say" Spider asked
"He told me in his e-mail about it and he told flipper not to worry about knocker and he e-mail his sisters about it they sent there well done great shot messages. Jo even told her it about time a Flynn did some thing to her since we are sick of the way she treated the family"
"She right" buffer said
"I know"
When Hammersley return back to Cairns, crew looking forward to having two week shore leave since Hammersley going to be in dry dock for matinee. Kate and bull went to see Maxine about the patrol then they talk to Mike who was in the ball pen.
Mike and Kate smile when they saw each other and kiss. Then Mike shake Bull hand. They talk for a few minute about navy stuff. "mike how Mac"
"She ok, I sent her home for a couple of days after what what happen in Maxine office"
"any idea what cause her to be sick like that?"
"Mac not sure, she thought she was over the morning sickness" Mike said
"Perhaps the baby wanted to have revenge on knocker" mike and Bull grin
"you think so Kate"
"It just a thought"
"Very funny" they talk for couple more minutes before Mike and Kate kiss before Kate and bull walk out of the ball pen talking and laughing.
When Pete arrived home he walk up stairs to his and Nikki bedroom. When he open the door and walk in he stop at the sight before him
"Welcome home sailor" Nikki said smiling since she was lying in the middle of the over turn bed wearing a new lime green barbie doll out fit.
Pete walk in closing the door behind him as Nikki move till she was on her knees at the end of the bed while Pete Put his bag in it spot then walk over to her as he look at her up and down. Then he notice a tray with ice bucket with bottles of beer in between the ice. Then he saw bowels with nuts, fruit, cream and fruit with green icing over them
"Green icing" Pete said looking at them
"Yes it white chocolate with green food coloring in it"
"different" then he look at Nikki
"and so are you, you are in so much trouble I hope this didn't cost a fortune"
"Why" Nikki asked
"Cause"
he grab both sides of the shoulder straps and pull it off Nikki then he throw them on to the floor behind him the he push Nikki till she was lying down on the bed with him on top of her
"You in trouble now, that e-mail message, pure torturer Nikki and for that" he kiss her and slowly torturer Nikki for two hours as well making love to her three times hard and fast which cause Nikki to scream out his name over and over again till she almost pass out.
When Pete look down at Nikki he was grinning at her "Had enough" He asked
"For now, how about having some thing cold to drink" Nikki said
Pete look over to the ice bucket then back to Nikki "and some thing to eat, I'm hungry"
Nikki laugh as Pete rolled off her to his side of the bed where he move till he sorted out the pillows and lean against them while Nikki did the same pulling the sheet up so it covering them both up while Pete pick up two bottles from the bucket and pass one to Nikki to open while he open is one and drank some of it
"that feels do good" Pete said as he put the bottle cap back in the bucket then turn around to get Nikki to see her grinning at him
"Nikki"
"what was good, the sex or you drinking that beer" Pete laugh
"both" he said as it took the cap out of her hand and out it in the bucket.
Then he pick up couple of bowls and put them on the bed then he put his bottle back in the ice bucket then he got out of bed
"don't you go any where"
"I won't" Nikki watch Pete as he walk into the bathroom and close the door.
Nikki lean back against the pillows smiling then her cell phone rings so she reach over to see who calling so she answer it
"hi Kate... yes he has... two hours... yes it was torturer but it felt great I miss him so much... he in the bathroom... yes he rip it off me... no he doesn't know yet... happy, tired, hungry... Nikki laugh
"Well what did you expect Kate... three times... what about you..." then She saw Pete open the door and walking out of the bathroom
"Do you think he can handle doing it three times... sounds like he needs to work out more" Nikki said laughing as Pete got back into bed
"sounds you do to... are you going to the pub tonight... ok see you then, bye Kate" then she hung up and put her phone back on bed side draws then she turn to buffer who was looking at her.
"Kate wanted to know how my punishment going" Pete smile
"what did you tell her"
"Two hours of torture and sex three times. She said you have been working out while out on patrol"
"Working off all that sexual tension and every time I close my eyes I see you wearing the barbie doll out fit it got worse after you tortured e-mail"
"Well at least you got rid of some of that tension"
"some" he raise his eye brows at her
"You got two weeks to get rid of the rest of it" Pete grin
"Yes I do, for now I'm hungry" Nikki laugh
Later that night the who crew and there families showed up at the pub, Mac included. When the crew saw her, they were shock since it was over two months ago when they last saw her and she only had a little bump, but now they can see how bigger the baby bump is. They all talk and laugh over the next few hours while relaxing. Bull, Swain, Nikki, Kate and Mac left to go home since it was almost kids bed time.
The next morning the crew wasn't happy when they received crash sail text messages. When they arrived on Hammersley they went to there cabins to see new uniforms on there bunk beds. So they got change and went to start taking boxes on board Hammersley.
Kate was marking off the list when each sailor show her the box since it will have a code on it. When she saw Buffer she could tell he wasn't happy.
"X why are we been crash sail again for. This is the fourth time in a row"
"I don't know buffer, Captain will tell us when he gets here. But from this list some thing happen on one of the islands" she showed him the clip board.
"I notice there a lot of medical supplies on the list"
"I've notice it to"
"what about fuel, water"
"that was taken care off an hour before we received crash sail message after what happen few months ago"
"True, like the uniforms"
"Same here"
"I'll go and get change and hurry the crew up"
"thanks buffer" buffer walk up and onto Hammersley and walk behind the HRIBS. Kate was going through the list when she heard buffer yelling at the junior sailors.
Hour later Kate and Pete was on the wharf when navy car stop not far from them. Kate smile when she saw Mike and Bull getting out of the car.
"I wounder if commander Flynn here to give us the bad news or check you out in the new uniform X" Buffer said quietly making Kate laugh
"He defiantly checking me out, it a shame Nikki not here"
"funny"
"Buffer, Kate"
"mike what going on"
"Six islands hit by the tropical storm we heard about on the news. Hammersley and Albany have been task to take supplies to the islands. Hammersley got three island and Albany got the other three"
"how long are we going to be away for sir"
"A week"
Mike and Kate could see it was up setting Pete he turn around and walk away removing his hat and running his hands over his head
"Kate what wrong with buffer, he never acted this way before"
"He and Nikki were planning on flying down to Sydney for couple of days, they were going to see Vicky grave since last time they plan on going down, we were crash sail two days before first anniversary of her passing. Nikki was lucky to get a refund of the plane tickets and the hotel where they were planning on staying at. Now it happen again"
"I'll go and talk to him" Mike said.
Then he walk over to where buffer is while Kate got her cell phone out of her pocket and sent a text message to Nikki then she put it back in her pocket.
"Was buffer close to Vicky, I thought you were talking about his daughter"
"No... his mother past away a year ago last month from cancer. Both Nikki and Buffer was with her when she past away. They both been through a lot in the past few months"
"sounds like it"
"sir both Buffer and Nav been though a lot and they always been there for each other"
"sounds like you and mike been there for them as well"
"Yes the whole crew have been and Nav family"
They watch as Mike talk to buffer then they heard buffer cell phone rings so he gets it out of his pocket to see who calling then he turn to Kate as he answers it while Mike walk back over to where Kate is.
"You send a text to Nav"
"Yes, sounds like talking to her might help him"
"Yeah" they watch as Buffer talks to Nikki for a few minutes before hanging up then walking over to them
"Are you ok buffer"
"Yes X, thanks for texting Nikki"
"no problems, come on we set sail in fifteen minutes" mike grin
"Yes ma'am" buffer said. Mike and Kate kiss then Mike watch the three of them walk on to Hammersley while talking.
Fifteen minutes later Kate gave the orders to set sail since captain was busy on the phone to NAVCOM. Soon as they were out at sea they headed north. Kate use the PA System to let the crew know the reason why Hammersley was crash sailed so the crew would under stand.
